Would you be able to tell me about what you were thinking about developing? We have a lot of use cases, so I would be happy to discuss more about the possibilities of the API.
The app would be to handle addresses and monitor them mainly, getting balance, transactions etc. but from what I understood I'm only going to pay for trading features, so in that case, there are no fees?

He is smart, there is no doubt about that but I guess everyone knows that no one could predict whether a coin is going up or down. The coin that he advertised may be indeed good as he claimed but that is not necessarily supposed to show in the price, we have coins that are completely useless and yet on the top, and some of them have a unique use case and active development but simply didn't make it. And If you're referring about the tweets that he used to make in the past (not sure If still doing it) then I believe he's being paid for that.

Based on what? I understand that people are trying to attack bitcoin for one reason or another but how about the people believing it? that's something I can't manage to comprehend, just because someone is famous, doesn't mean that his words should be taken as a fact. Unless he has real arguments, he should be ignored.

With the documents you're willing to show and provide, I think you're better off using Paxful or any other P2P platform If you want to avoid high fees. Alternatively, you have the currency exchange section on the forums but it might take time to build trust and it will definitely be hard to start with high amounts, at least not with your current rank, and trust history.

The account's profile link? If it says that the account is banned due to spam or plagiarism though, then It's the case because otherwise, It would've said locked. If it doesn't say anything regarding the time, it means it's permanent and making another account is considered as ban evasion, which will get him banned again.

Thanks for the trades/offers everyone. I've managed to get the full amount and as I said, I'm not looking to trade with low ranked members.

If you're using an online wallet or exchange then resetting the password could be an option otherwise not really. If you're using hardware wallets, Electrum, Mycelium etc. You will have to reset your wallet by re-entering your seed phrase. If you don't have any of these things, you should go with cracking the password If you know how to do it. If not, I suggest contacting WalletRecoveryServices.

Second option: Get yourself banned.
If you decide to go with this and you get a permanent ban, know that making another account in the future will be considered as ban evasion and that's against the rules.

Have you tried Paybis.com? I have used them for Skrill and traded around 800$ so far and everything went smoothly. Just keep in mind that you could be asked to upload your documents at any moment.

Both parties are to blame. If you suggest bitcoin to someone, you should make sure they understand the risks and that they won't blame you in the future. An investor should also be smart and not invest in anything he's being told to without doing his own research.

If it's going to be open source, decentralized and P2P then I'm going to assume you're not planning to make it profitable for you?
If that's the case and you're willing to hire developers, I suggest funding some of the current exchanges like Bisq instead of building one from scratch.

Just one of the many reasons why I don't do KYC verifications. I don't expect people to learn anything from this though because It seem like people don't care about their privacy as long as they don't have to put extra efforts to use the forums or P2P platfroms to trade instead.

With the government shutdown in the U.S, Bakkt will be affected, there is no indefinite delay. At this point, If anyone is expecting it, you should expect the worst.

Examples of non-virtual ones? I can setup VPNs or find someone from a specific country, so location is not important.
It does matter because you'll have to verify your account by sending documents. I managed to find the most updated list out there, check it out.

There is Localcoin which is available for Canada only IIRC. Alternatively, you could use Shipito which accepts bitcoin as a deposit method and have "Assisted purchase" option where they buy items from stores in the U.S on your behalf but there will be some fees for that and you'll need to ship it from their warehouse afterward.

I've downloaded the API document and I have a question about the donation part, does the donor need to have an account to be able to donate? If not, he should buy coins from your website? that looks a little bit unrealistic and something most of the people wouldn't do unless of course your website starts being used everywhere.

I have no plans to run my own exchanges and I don't recommend anyone doing so unless they have the required knowledge to do so but I'm very curious, there are multiple exchanges that are open source like Multicoins, Peatio etc.
Does anyone know any open source projects that are actually being used by known exchanges? It seems like everyone is building his own exchange from scratch so I'm wondering why even build an exchange and make it open If there is no demand for it.

I have 1300$ Bitcoin. I want to have PayPal sent as friends & family (gift). The rates are 1:1 using preev.com.
I need this as soon as possible. If you have negative trust or you're low ranked, please don't bother posting here.
I prefer trading with multiple people instead of doing the whole amount with one, just as a security & safety measure.

Mind explaining the $0.99/ month per user part? What are the limits and when you say, user, do you mean the developer? regardless of how many people the app created has been distributed to?
