4801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Latin America’s Biggest Bank To Release Security Token on: February 24, 2019, 07:31:15 PM
Not basically different from the bank system. You can do the same with your bank. Invest in a public fund in the real estate and get a profit monthly...
Instead "to lend money" in something and calling it investing in an ICO to make it look fancy. (and maybe not even making a profit) I would prefer to rely on public funds.
4802  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: EMIs that allow you to top up your balance with card for free? on: February 24, 2019, 07:04:54 PM
Are you talking about the list of Debit or Credit card that able to top-up with bitcoin or crypto?

I think there is no free service like this but there are some Debit or Credit card service with less fee to top-up the card.

Anyway, you can check these links below.

- Unofficial list of Crypto Debit cards
- List of Cards

No, he isn't looking for a service with a card to top up with bitcoin. He hasn't mentioned bitcoin and even said: "not even to be crypto friendly".
He talks about EMIs where he can top up the account with a card "for free Or with a minimal fee"

@hashtag
0.20% is very cheap, most of the time it goes around 2-3%. I have no idea how Revolut is making it free since it's a fee charged by VISA or MasterCard

4803  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to use Visa PrePaid to deposit without uploading ID on: February 24, 2019, 05:31:11 PM
I haven't used purse.io but I guess it can be also a good option if you belong to USA, Canada, UK and Japan.
You can convert your Amazon giftcards into bitcoins on upto 5 to 30% premium.
What is in purse.io why would you recommend this? I think he is asking if what exchange site is accepting visa prepaid card without selfie or ID verification.

Purse.io only accept crypto as payment BTC and BCH. So no credit card accepted but they accept credit card through bitcoin.com and cex.io.

So only virwox will work without giving ID.

He wanted to say that the guy can buy at Amazon with his/her prepaid card and get the bitcoins from Purse.io. A lot of people are using this method
Bitcoin.com makes you think you're buying bitcoins but in fact, you buy BCH, you get bitcoins counterfeit
4804  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's analyse Bitcoin's recent market rise on: February 24, 2019, 05:17:25 PM
Just a few hours after OP, the price is back to what it was previously. So everything said in the original post is no more valid. The uptrend is over now and we're going to the opposite.
This said I don't think any of the points are responsible for the past week performance. Why? Because we got the same every now and then., On the top there is nothing special.
4805  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-20] Google Registers Bitcoin.dev as New Domain TLD Goes Public on: February 21, 2019, 07:44:07 PM
I was surprised while reading the title, and wondered what Google plans to do with the domain name. Just fake news. Look like Fox News or CNN created an account in Bitcointalk  Cheesy
The person/company owning this domain will make a good profit that's for sure.

@o_e_l_e_o
How did you come to suppose Namecheap?
4806  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitgo Obtains $100M Insurance Policy to Cover Crypto Assets on: February 21, 2019, 07:30:30 PM
Up to 100 million per customer or per company (BitGo)
Because if it's not 100mln per customer then it's not a lot. Bitgo clients manage multiple millions, even to get a business wallet you need at least 1 million$ monthly transaction
4807  Economy / Economics / Re: Italy already in recesion on: February 21, 2019, 07:00:02 PM
I do not think that the example of Italy can be used to assess the degree of financial state of the entire global economy. Moreover, Italy is not a leader in the EU in terms of economic indicators. If a recession or stagnation begins in the United States or in China, it can be said with confidence that we are on the verge of a new financial crisis. The current situation on the global market is certainly worrying, but the global crisis is still being postponed. But this is my personal opinion. It seems to me that it will begin in 2020. Protectionism and trade wars will play a role in slowing the global economy.

You're wrong because Italy is one of the major European countries and somewhat "a leader". The problem there comes from the banks. One of the oldest and the biggest bank in the country is in agony since a  long time and maybe wasn't able to pass the stress test before perhaps a re-capitalization or something else just to postpone the real problem.
Now if what happened in Greece happens to Italy, Europe won't be able to save Italy like they saved Greece. It's about several trillion € and EU can't afford.
4808  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people come back to gold on: February 20, 2019, 08:13:12 PM
As a store value, maybe.

As a cash alternative? That option died the day the internet was invented.

Seriously, how is people gonna use gold? Let's say you bought a computer from amazon. How you gonna pay? Send coins with fedex?

Gold is done with being a cash alternative. And soon dollar will be following.
More from a funds management side with investors using Gold as a store of value. But if "a lot of investors" are buying gold at the same time, it could tell something, it can be a market collapse or simply nothing well performing for their taste currently so better to store and wait for an opportunity in some months.

We used gold centuries ago, we could be totally able to come back to it. Or at least back to the US dollar backed by gold like it was years ago.
4809  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Convert Perfectmoney to Bitcoin? on: February 20, 2019, 08:00:01 PM
Here is a list of exchanges
http://www.bestchange.com/
Just select Perfect money to send and Bitcoin to receive it will sort the list based on the criteria
Make a quick search before using any, only 2 are know to me. Alternatively, you can use the "currency exchange" section on Bitcointalk or why not LoacalBitcoin.
4810  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Seeking review on binance DEX on: February 20, 2019, 07:07:08 PM
Would be great if they could add smart contracts and atomic swap ...and a  light theme for the sake of my eyes...

Ehh. One thing is for sure, I don't think it should be called a "decentralized" exchange. Sure yea, slick UI and UX for sure, but I really don't see where it's actually "decentralized". The only positive thing I see with it, is that you control your private keys, and that's it(though this is definitely a good thing).

Not only the DEX doesn't have your private keys but there is No regulation, No KYC, No 3rd party, just you and your Ledger device  or your keys.
You can also run a validator node or full node to participate
4811  Local / Le Bitcoin et la loi / Re: Compte à l'étranger à déclarer... en retard on: February 19, 2019, 07:33:26 PM
@HonoreConstantinos

ADRESSE (NO ET RUE) : adresse de kraken a san fransico
COMMUNE ET PAYS : usa

4812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question About Golden Visa - Invest with BTC on: February 19, 2019, 06:41:16 PM
I didn't know such programs exist but by logic, It's based on the value of the property, not the means of payment to pay it  Wink
Imagine different rules for different payments means used to "invest" in your property. Saying no to someone because he paid the property with  400 tons of peanuts Cheesy. And you don't report your payment methods to the taxes office Wink
4813  Economy / Economics / Re: Italy already in recesion on: February 19, 2019, 06:22:21 PM
@STT
The risk for Italy is a lot bigger than Venezuela. Italy will damages full Europe...at least... and it could have also an impact on the worldwide economy. Greece received 10 trillion from the IFM to recapitalize the country, but they won't be able to do the same with Italy. Nor it will be enough.
4814  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Earning cryptocurrency doing your everyday shopping in this bear market. on: February 19, 2019, 06:00:14 PM
I always use a cashback website while shopping on the internet. At least as much as I can, but I check always if there isn't a cashback offer.
The main problem with the crypto related sites is their cashback offers target only the Tier 1 countries  (US.UK.AU). Would be great to enlarge the audience
4815  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Shop directly on Amazon.com with Bitcoin on: February 19, 2019, 03:15:34 PM
I would certainly be interested if there were other Amazon languages, it could be a good Purse.io alternative although I don't get how the website receive the payments since users send cryptos (it's a matter of APIs?). Secondly, in term of security, how secure it is? The coinbase account is logged in our browser app and/or data are saved in a server?
4816  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: From crypto exchange to Payoneer? on: February 19, 2019, 02:49:32 PM

... I don't expext peer to peer platforms to have similar troubles with payoneer, i mean localbitcoins or paxful. What do you think?

Technically no. You make/receive funds from a random individual and not from a company related to cryptos. If you were receiving funds from LocalBitcoin, for example, it would be another story. (LB wouldn't even able to get a Payoneer account)

Quote
I do not know if there is a possibility of a transfer between bunq and Payoneer.

I don't see why there shouldn't be a possibility. As long as it is a bank and not a payment system this should not be a problem.
Otherwise, it would mean that people are unable to deposit money into their Payoneer account

4818  Economy / Speculation / Re: CRYPTOS TO THE MOON???? on: February 19, 2019, 12:41:32 PM
Anyone noticed how often the crypto market follow the stock market? Both reacted identically, again. For the SM It was caused by news about the Federal Reserve, I don't remember exactly what it was about but it's all over the news.
It's 10 days now since the uptrend started, I hope it was not just for Valentine's day, we would need at least 3 consecutive months to grab again the attention from media. and to title "BTC to the Moon Again!" Cheesy
4819  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Your thoughts about KYC on: February 19, 2019, 11:32:57 AM
Why use cryptos if you're ready to send your documents to the first (trusted) service asking you? Cryptos are created to avoid using a 3rd party (banks, payments service, etc...). If you're really ok to give your personal identity info then why not going back to fiat? You're already verified lol.
4820  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your favorite Trading Terminal on: February 16, 2019, 12:11:50 AM
I like ugly websites, for example I liked Cryptopia, BTC-e, and Kraken. Now that Kraken revamped its website I like it less.
I would even be ok to use a terminal in a Linux distro and to write something like:

sudo apt-get trade xBTC/xETH
sudo apt-get purge BCH
reboot
 Cheesy

I only use Binance nowadays because it has highest altcoin trading volume
My favorite trading terminal is Binance because Binance listed good coins and have a big trading volume.
Binance gives their traders 25% discount using BNB for a fee.
For mobile users, they released mobile friendly app, trading view charting etc.
I only use Binance nowadays because it has highest altcoin trading volume

You didn't read the OP correctly (or not at all). It was referring to the user interface, not based on the testicles size
