4801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 08, 2020, 11:30:00 AM

TBH, these young core of the Spurs now are nowhere near to the big 3 of the spurs before (Duncan, Parker, and Ginóbili). so I don't expect spurs will be successful if they will not get another star players that have already prove himself from a team he is playing with now.

I think we will never see this kind of line up of the spurs anymore, and coach pop time with the Basketball will be over soon, so we can't expect that the one who inherit the coaching job will be as good as him. I heard Timmy has a good chance of getting that spot, anyway, that's just a rumor, but I'll be very glad to see him as the coach of the spurs and let's see if he can be a great coach like a player he was.

https://www.expressnews.com/sports/spurs/article/Tim-Duncan-s-future-a-hot-topic-after-San-15105988.php

I agree with that, coach Pop and the big 3 Duncan, Parker, and Ginóbili are a good fit, after they retire, spurs was slowly going down in ranking.
This is like coach Phil Jackson Jackson and the Lakers, when Kobe was injured and he left for the Knicks, Lakers suddenly become a non playoff contender team.
4802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: House Edge -- Is It Really Required? on: June 08, 2020, 10:51:29 AM
What is the smallest edge on crypto casinos ? Have someone ever seen a casino with a 0.1% edge or something similar ?

I don't see any casino with that kind of very low house edge, and actually it depends on the game.
So let's talk a particular game, for dice, usually the average house edge is just 1%, gamblers would already think it's a good percent and they have a good chance of winning but that 1% if a gambler plays regularly, he will lose in the long run, unfortunately, only few realizes that, that is why sometimes they think they are cheated when they lose.
4803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: June 08, 2020, 10:00:53 AM
If that is the case, I think we don't have to gamble because we should report the spreadsheet for the tax to the government. Or we can use crypto gambling online to playing gambling, and we don't withdraw for some time the win money, and we could withdraw by the help of someone who will send the money to our bank account. People will find a way to hide their money to avoid the tax.
Lol even Bigtime gamblers don’t do such thing (not unless maybe those businessmen where they need to have record for their own managing) but I believe that gamblers usually deny to learn how much they lose instead loving their winning amount.
I have been gambling since i was young but never imagine recording my money for gambling .
If they are businessmen, they must report their tax to the government. But I don't know if they gamble, they need to report it to the government too or not. I think they will hide their activity on gambling because maybe they don't want to add more taxes to their report lol. I am playing crypto gambling but I don't report my money for gambling too Grin

We are all required to report to our income to the government, whether we are businessman or not.
Tax laws are almost similar in terms of implementation in any country, so it's a basic rule that we play income tax for our income.

the only difference is some countries are good with their monitoring, while the other are lax.

4805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 08, 2020, 08:49:16 AM
I guess we all knew that Las Vegas casinos were planning to open soon, but how many of you’ll actually thought that they would be opening it so soon? because I’m shocked that they have opened it as the number of corona cases are rising only.

Furthermore flights to Las Vegas are already full, and people are coming in large numbers to play out there, hence I’m sincerely praying that no one gets infected while playing out there.

Though they have set up various safety measures, but I’m not sure what their protocol will be if it’s found that an infected person played out there, will they be forced to shut down their casinos, or will it be business as usual for them?.

So Latvia and UK opened ahead of Las vegas according to your post here?

Hope the next to operate is Las Vegas because there are too large amount of money that the government might earning this pandemic because of the stop operation of these casinos.

I thought Las Vegas casino is already opened. that's the title of the thread.

It's also what this article told us.

4806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Crash game more risky ? on: June 08, 2020, 08:03:04 AM
Crash game is just like a casino game where you needs luck to make more money.
Yes, because this is a luck based game, anyone who like to win, they need to be lucky and must be a big risk taker so they can maximize their profit.

I am yet to play crash game in my knowledge but I visited bustabit and watched the players names and their wins, this game looks like giving too much adrenaline for the players.
I think you should try this kind of game, it's very attractive and I though I am late to play this game but I notice its quite addictive especially if you have a lot of time that you can burn to gamble.
4807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: June 08, 2020, 07:37:20 AM
Sometimes the house lose, that's the reality in gambling, but you have the advantage man, you'll eventually be back in the profitable side.
I suggest for investors not looking or focusing on short term performance, try making evaluation in a monthly basis.
4808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: June 07, 2020, 11:39:33 PM
I don't keep any kind of evidence. I'm not professional gambler, I gamble for fun and entertainment so I.think I don't need that.
I know that some players have spreadsheets and similar to keep track of their gambling which is actually good but it's not necessary in every case.
Since I gamble for fun I only spend the leftovers after all my expenses are covered so I can manage that even without evidence.

I am not good in gambling but I have a spredsheet of my record, not necessarily that you have to be a professional gambler in order to start maintaining a spreadsheet, you can do it for yourself as an experiment to know you real status in gambling, this is most applicable in skilled based games like sportbetting.
4809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: June 07, 2020, 12:36:40 PM
I've never done this...
I'm not too focused on playing gambling, playing gambling with a small capital on a smartphone to fill free time is my habit, and I think tracking gambling results is not very important. if you are indeed unlucky and do not have the skills then you will still lose despite tracking your gambling results every day IMO.

Same as me, I do not track my gambling profit and losses. Gambling for me is also a kind of pass time. I do not take it seriously. If I think I already lose in too many rounds then I stop. If I win then I feel bless. But of course not all people are like us. I understand why they need to track theor gambling activities.

Some gamblers like to take the challenge when they are challenge and that happens especially when they lose money in gambling, they don't want to stop until they lose everything, and that's the kind of behavior that might make a person successful or will just fail in the end.

As they say, high risk if you succeed, you'll get high reward, but unfortunately, only few succeeds in gambling.
4810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 07, 2020, 12:02:39 PM
Yes, Pop is an outstanding coach, but It's all about team play, coaches and players must always be in sync.

Spurs made a wrong decision.

San Antonio Spurs trade Kawhi Leonard to Toronto Raptors for DeMar DeRozan, others

Leonard is a special player, while DeRozan is good but inconsistent, this is one of the big mistake the Spurs made in their franchise.
If they have traded Leonard to someone else, a star of course, Spurs might still has a good chance to be in the playoff spot now.
4811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: June 03, 2020, 11:48:28 PM
Now that we are in Pandemic gamblers have no option but to stay more on online gambling but even if there is still no pandemic it's still preferable to play and stay longer than online gambling, you are more comfortable doing thing in your home, you have no problem on commuting.

As they say, flaws are extensions of virtues. Here we have a similar case: when we left a real casino we don’t have the opportunity to continue playing, this is a real physical barrier that saves us from our impulsive desires. Online casino, in turn, "always here" - this can be a big problem for people with gambling addiction.

It will create more problem especially if a certain gambler plays a specific games that are available in 24/7.
Sometimes I feel addicted when I'm gambling, but I'm glad I usually put bigger bets on sports betting and I'm betting with NBA which games are not available 24 hours, the urge to come back and win the loses is still inside me and it's really frustrating I can't gamble anymore when all the games are over, luckily I never make a decision to shift to other type of games just to win back my loses, and just wait for the next day where my emotion is not that filled with anger.  Grin

While, others enjoyed the break and gained fat that could potentially hinder their athleticism.

Just out of curiosity who are these players that gained weight during the pandemic? Do we have a list?

Those players really miss being out of the practice to the point that they truly embrace the feeling of being on their beloved home for a long period. Smiley

I hope not a star player is involved lol.

I don't think we will read it in the news, I check in google and have not see any article saying a certain NBA player has gained fats, instead, I read a news that an NBA player uses his free time during the pandemic to gain "MUSCLES".

Don't think you can consistently win in gambling, the fact that you are talking about dice and crash games, these games are just based on pure luck,
I agree that we will never win constantly in dice or crash games. When we are playing luck-based games, it is purely about luck and cannot rely on our skills or specific approaches. In this matter, it doesn't make sense to expect winning regularly for weeks/months through this kind of gambling game. It is true that commonly we tend to get entertainment from the games and not earning money.

Or maybe it would be helpful if we keep track on our total number of bets, our amount of money spent in gambling, but in terms of winning/losing stats, all is useless, and I don't really think that one has already made successful aiming for long term success in dice or any type of luck based games.
4814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: June 03, 2020, 10:29:44 PM
way more entertaining imo and tons of variety in the game types.

True, it's more entertaining but the house edge is higher compared to dice.
But anyway, after all we decide so it's up to us on which game we really enjoy despite knowing its house edge is very high.
Slots normally pays you better return, but you need to be lucky... I'm a usual dice and sports betting player, I play slots sometimes and it's fun to try different kind of games also so you'll not be bored with your gambling life.  Grin

Am I the only one thinking LeBron's gonna come out firing when play resumes? He hasn't really had a considerable break in 17 years, the breaks probably done him the world of good.

LeBron isn't carrying the Lakers on his own. He's not exhausted much this season compared to the previous seasons that he is always the main man. Once the league resume, we will see the usual LeBron. No need to pumped much as they already clinch the playoffs spot.

Not worried too for other players even the practice is minimal. They are professional players and if training and practice resume, they only need a few sessions and all those usual plays will be practice perfectly again.

And last month, May, several teams already opened up their practice facilities with Golden State Warriors the latest one.

The best line up of Lebron after Miami was I guess the Cavaliers with Irving and Kevin Love and of course Thompson, though we still see that most of the time he is the one who make points especially when they are in the playoffs, and in fact they won one championship that time.

He is with the Lakers now, things are different and Lebron has become a good passer, Kevin love vs Davis, I'll go for Davis as this guy is not soft, he can manage to compete in the inside and do better outside as well.

Let's just forget about Irving as he left his team.
4816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: June 03, 2020, 09:45:48 PM
Wilder has the ego, he did not even accept his lose against Fury without an excuse, he likes to blame something and we know he blame his heavy suit the last time so this guy has an ego and want a fight than just a money.

Quote
These are not rumours, the promoters (Hearn and Warren) have discussed it and it is on public record.

Pardon me, I didn't know, I have not read any news regarding this so I wasn't expecting since it looks unfair for the fans.

If Wilder invokes the re-match will have to beat Fury and then have to beat Joshua in order to become undisputed and unified heavyweight champion of the world.

If he steps aside by taking $20 or so then allows Fury and Joshua to battle it then fights just once in order to have a chance to unify the belts and become champion again - that makes sense too.

Wilder and his ego along with a real chance that he will get battered by Fury again versus 2 big pay days with just one fight - this question is for Wilder to answer.

I just do not see this fight happening if Wilder is paid money to step aside to allow a Fury-Joshua fight to go ahead. It makes more sense for him to make phenomenal amounts of money for doing nothing.
Will Wilder take that money and loss his opportunity to regain himself? I don't think he is gonna do that, it's just some rumors or speculation from the boxing fans but I don't think it will really happen.

Would Wilder prefer to fight Fury and risk losing again and never end up fighting Joshua or would he prefer to let Fury and Joshua battle it out and then fight the unified heavyweight champion instead? HE can get paid two huge sums of money, one for waiving his right to invoke the re-match and the second huge payment for a winner-takes-all-the-belts fight against the winner of the Fury-Joshua fight.

Agree, Wilder can win. I don't get why people are speculating that Wilder has no chance of winning against Fury and he will just take the money, in reality, he just lose one game, and like every champion, he  can always come back and win the fight.
4817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: June 03, 2020, 12:44:19 PM
Now that we are in Pandemic gamblers have no option but to stay more on online gambling

that is if the gambler are versatile or can be able to play on both online and offline but if a gambler is only capable on one environment then he will not engage in online gambling but he will only wait till the local gambling resume on thier place   .

there is also no reason to be bore because we have now many forms of entertainment whether its online or offline   .  on ofline , he can play sports like basketball or also soccer and  running if thier background is wide   .

There are gamblers who would go out to play because they don't know online gambling, in country where only few people know about online gambling, a lot of gamblers will certainly go out and look for a place to gamble. One example is the cock fighting, watching it in a arena is more fun than just betting on it live watching through live streaming, since when you are physically in a location, you can make better a better judgement.

They are breaking the law just because of their gambling addiction, I call that as an addiction as they still persist to go out just to gamble even if if they are taking risk or they might risk the lives of the other people. We never know, if we are infected or not in the early stage, so it's better to just stay and home and isolate ourselves.
4818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: June 03, 2020, 12:32:26 PM
At first I thought it was a good idea to track it, but then I understood, the more you track, the more you will realize how much you lost and the more you wanna play to recover those losses. Because our human mind is full of unlimited greed and hence showing it anything will just fuel the desire to gamble more! So I stopped tracking and just gamble whenever I feel like. No track of wins or losses!

It's a good point Iamsheikhadil, and trying to recover loses will make you risk more, when you risk more
you can lose again, more chances for that. One of the reasons I don't keep track of my wins and loses.
I try to play and have fun, if I am good it's nice, I never go all in I try to play longer and make some little
profit.
I am thinking to try to deposit $10 and to try to make half a dollar or just a dollar every few days. Without
withdrawing, without much risking. Is it possible to do that for months and to make something with dice and
crash game mostly?

Don't think you can consistently win in gambling, the fact that you are talking about dice and crash games, these games are just based on pure luck, and you need to be lucky everyday in order to win, and with the amount you gamble, I'm sure you will be bored of doing it over and over.

More longer if it is a physical casnio because we are not only gamble there we may have chat with others, just hangout with friends or strangers and lot of things we can do but in the online era we are not going to take efforts to reach the physical casinos that why online casinos are existing.
You have said the difference of online and physical casinos. In online casinos, we can still chat with others and strangers that's just coming in the chat.
It's why called online because you don't have to go to the physical location and that is convenient.
That's the main reason why I prefer to gamble more online than going into a casino with physical location.
Over time, the adoption will increase now that we also have the crypto casinos which gives more convenient to typical gamblers compared to fiat casinos, so we are in a growing industry and as more location in the world that will have an access on the internet, this will be the easiest way to enjoy.

we are connecting with each other, any kind of games are now available online, so we will not get bored as we can also easily shift to different websites if we like to explore more.
