4821  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: World Peace Gong Token - Plagiarized whitepaper on: July 30, 2019, 07:44:01 PM
Nice catch OP

Looks like they just got photos of the committee representatives all over the internet, and then they just put them on their website as the "team"  Grin
Otherwise, why would the World Peace Gong committee need a token?

4822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Soma Lending (XSML): Decentralized Lending Application on Waves on: July 30, 2019, 01:30:53 AM
You can't even show us your white paper, your team profiles or your website but you are so quick on looking for people to send you some Ether for some tokens created out of a thin air.

Are you trying to collect people's data in the name of "ICO"?

4823  Other / Off-topic / Re: Looking for a working version of Acrobat Pro or Phantom PDF Editor on: July 30, 2019, 12:46:54 AM
You can try PDF-XChange Editor
but don't ask for illegal links on this forum please

Software you mentioned you can find on respective official websites
Or you can use torrent to search and download the software too
Very bad advice... One of the most common ways of getting malware into your computer is through torrents

I would advise him to:

1. Uninstall the existing copy with all the associate files and the restart the computer.

2. Download a fresh copy of the file and then perform an installation when the internet is off

3. Now you have to block acrobat's background update process which usually checks if the trial period has expired. Press Win + R buttons and then type in "msconfig" and press enter button

4. Go to the services tab and look for "adobe acrobat update" and then uncheck it

5. Click on apply and Ok

6. Block acrobat in the Windows firewall options too

7.  Restart your computer and check it out even with internet on... I hope it helps  Wink
4824  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] SmartMixer.io | Crypto Mixer | Be Smart, Be Anonymous! on: July 29, 2019, 09:37:46 PM
Currently, in terms of service, you are pretty much the same as all other mixers. The system works properly and I’ve received clean coins, as promised. But something is different here at SmartMixer.. I don’t know but have you seen their website? Looks really professional to me.. They woke up my interest through a banner on BMF.
BMF? Black mafia forum?
I think he was talking about Beer Money Forums
4825  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: www.exchangeinstant.com Scam Scammer on: July 29, 2019, 09:25:51 PM
I guess it's time to tag them.

How did you end up using their service? Google?
4826  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitCoin affiliate offers on: July 29, 2019, 09:13:22 PM
This forum has strict polices on spammers, scammers and ponzi schemes. If you are  found promoting one, you will be red trusted and that will be the end of road for you.
If you are found spamming you could be banned

The only way of promoting affiliates here is probably through signatures

Maybe try out Beermoney forums.
4827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 29, 2019, 09:07:20 PM
Interesting to discuss and pay attention to. That Dybala is almost certain to be released by Juventus. And certainly many clubs will be interested in this player. There are 4 new Dybala Prospective Clubs reported by CNN.

1. Manchester United
2. Tottenham Hotspur
3. PSG
4. Bayer Munchen

In your opinion, which club is suitable for dybala games?
Source
as a Juventus fan I don't want him to go anywhere but if that will happen Tottenham might be a better choice because chances are he will get more play rations.

I doubt Spurs are ready to spend huge amounts on players, If he was to leave i think United or bayern would manage to buy him
4828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 29, 2019, 09:01:14 PM
Good to see James is training under Zidane again. I think its a very good opportunity for James to prove himself. Asensio will miss the season due to injury so James got his last chance. But James must compete with Vinicius, Rodrigo & Vazquez. If Bale left Madrid then I guess James would avail his 11 number jersey. Can't wait to see James a Madrid player again Grin
As soon as Asensio got injured I knew James would not go anywhere. Somehow Asensio's longtime injury is a blessing in disguise to the James Fans

I don't think that Guardiola and Manchester City are interested in him now.
What do you think?

Manchester City has more than enough Forwards and Wingers to start thinking about Bale Right now.

All rewards are calculated in spreadsheet. Participants can take out signatures.

Should In case the campaign continues will current participants be given priority after applying ?

I doubt it will be back... Let's wait for their announcement later this week.

What I noticed is that older long term campaigns usually capitalize on ad exposure by running lengthy campaigns, and so they attract masses over a period while newer projects find it hard especially if the run for only about a month. Once the campaign ends people remove their signatures, and there will nothing talking about the project except the ANN. They then get forgotten in no time.

4834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Newbie question] What’re tokens and How to create them? on: July 28, 2019, 10:06:28 PM
Some more additional information for you here,
Theymos the forum admin gave a clear definition of what tokens are in this post. Hope it helps you get to understand what exactly they are

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2251834.0
Quote
A cryptocurrency is self-sufficient, not relying on any other cryptocurrency to function (not including merged mining), and requiring its own software. A token works like a cryptocurrency at a high level, but relies on some other cryptocurrency's infrastructure in order to function, and often (but not necessarily always) lacks its own software.

Example 1
You create an Ethereum asset. This asset is entirely reliant on Ethereum's block chain to function. It is a token.

Example 2
You pick out 1 BTC and split it into 100 million satoshi. Each satoshi represents some part of a real-world thing, and gets a special ticker symbol. This is a token because it is completely reliant on Bitcoin's block chain to function.

Example 3
You create an Ethereum contract which allows anyone perpetually to trade 0.1 ETH for 1 YOURTHING and vice-versa. This is ambiguous, and may require moderator discretion. It may be considered a token, or it may be considered merely a flavor of ETH, belonging in Ethereum threads, etc.
4835  Economy / Reputation / Re: KYC for BTC to revert redtrust ? on: July 28, 2019, 10:00:33 PM
KYC for what. The Bitcointalk community does not require any sort of KYC.
Having multiple accounts is not prohibited here by the way but cheating in bounties but participating using you multiple accounts can get you red trusted.

Can you explain why you used multiple accounts in bounties?
4836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stellar XLM Airdrop Question noob on: July 28, 2019, 09:55:19 PM
It's scam. Perhaps the scammers are trying to get away of gaining access to your secret key when you open the link and fill it in as you are trying to log in

If you can please create a flag and I will support it. I have gone through the scam accusation and it seem like some sort of scam that has been common lately.
4839  Other / Meta / Re: Make copper membership required for post bounty or airdrop on bounty child board on: July 27, 2019, 03:49:08 PM
So what happens to a genuine Newbie who just wants to comment about a given project or alert other users about a certain bounty?
I think it's not necessary to be too restrictive to new members.

Much as scammers are there, there are also new genuine users joining every day and our purpose should be to expand this community not make people get more reasons for not joining it or leaving it.

Also there are scammers who buy copper membership too, haven't you seen them?
This will definitely do nothing to stop them anyway

As far as scammers are concerned whenever you see one, report them, they will be tagged if the evidence is sufficient
4840  Other / Meta / Re: You cannot create a flag on a moderated thread? on: July 27, 2019, 03:38:45 PM
Yep it's true you cannot create a flag using a self Moderated thread or locked topic probably because Admin thought there wouldn't be free speech as some replies could be deleted and thus no proper views from the different parties involved but what you can do is create a scam accusation, reference the scam threads/Ann's in the post then create the flag using your scam accusation thread 😉

Edit: use the link of the existing scam accusation.
