4821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you discover coins with great potential? Nearly 10.000 coins out there... on: May 02, 2021, 09:17:09 AM
there are almost 10.000 coins according to coinmarketcap.
How to get an overview? How to discover coins with great potential based on other coins with similar characteristics?
Is there a CSV file oder SQL database to analyze somewhere?
Actually it's hard to get a good suggestion cause everyone got one for everybody. It's up to that someone whether which one he will take into consideration.

Everyday there are new tokens/coins being added on coingecko and coinmarketcap. For sure everyone aware that not all added there are legit and some are shitcoin but of course there are profits being linger on those. Some are worth riding and some are dangerous. Better to do or trade bigger projects.
4822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: dex help guide on: May 02, 2021, 07:57:10 AM
Hi, I'm new to decentralized exchanges such as pancakeswap on bsc and uniswap on ethereum trading. Can some one please guide me to filter new project listing on dexes. We can moniter all the details of the token.
Since you are new to decentralized exchange. Maybe it safe to learn first all things about it rather than rushing towards trading and buying some shitcoin on the market.

There are plenty of guide using Google search engine you just need to type those questions or start watching YouTube videos about the topic. Trust me it's much easier. But here are the sites you can used for monitoring tokens regardless of their status.

www.coingecko.com
www.coinmarketcap.com
www.etherscan.com
4823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the next Uniswap in futures or perpetual derivatives trading? on: May 02, 2021, 06:51:41 AM
Probably Injective protocol. I've been following this project and so far they are improving their exchange and mos tof their partnership have been tied on developing more on this kind of business.

Among the list its my bet in this kind of game. But on other blockchain such as BSC fantom, or matic their projects are also good such as cake, spirit swap, and quick swap. These have also potentials.
4824  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hotbit exchange is Proven Scam on: May 02, 2021, 02:03:12 AM
That is not a good choice so you have to choose the Hotbit exchange, sometimes we get airdrop or bounty tokens that are often listed on low exchanges like Hotbit so we inevitably have to exchange them there so this is our choice at that time.
Yes that's true. But I stopped some social campaign for now as trading is more profitable. Maybe I'll hunt those good projects again on Altcoin bounty. But the point is hotbit exchange still not good, in my experience they reduced coins on withdrawal too high.

Sometimes when an exchange notices being hacked, many people assume they are defrauding customers and taking customers' money.
You will noticed that more often. But the thing is there are more complained before even the hacked happened. Means they are really having problem on their system.
4825  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hotbit exchange is Proven Scam on: May 01, 2021, 01:59:48 PM
it's confusing that there are always people who use small and shady-looking exchanges.
Its not that some people wanted to use those exchange. I myself using hotbit before, cause some of my tokens haven't listed on those big exchange like Binance and I have no choice sometimes since the volume is more bigger on hotbit compared to some exchange such as dex where it wss listed. There are excuses to using it even for me I know its not a good exchange. Just lack choice sometime.
4826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Swap eth on trust wallet for ethereum supported alts...failed? on: May 01, 2021, 05:18:59 AM
I added eth to trust wallet. I’ve also added several altcoins (reef, forth, lto, and 3-4 others) and swapped a part of eth for each of them. However, every transaction failed and said error. Does anybody know why?
Question are you using the trust wallet dex? Or you import Dapps on the wallet like uniswap and other dex to trade those coins or tokens? If its not working then I'm seeing the problem is the gas consumption or the incompatibility of the token blockchain, cause if its on trust dex, some tokens aren't gonna be able to swap.
4827  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hotbit exchange is Proven Scam on: May 01, 2021, 04:15:25 AM
They seem like a small, unregulated exchange that can probably just run off with everyone's money without any regulatory body trying to track them down....but I could be wrong.  I'm hoping for the best for their customers' sake.
They are a shady exchange ever since. They requiring people with lots of requirement and even KYC.

Like the one shared above. They are experiencing a hacked over their system. My friend have some tokens and even stablecoin that they don't know if still can be recovered as the exchange socials and support have been stop and paused.

I like Kucoin and Binance, that have insurance or fund to cover the loss I'm jot sure Hotbit if they can cover it. Maybe it will go to the same result on other exchanges that close.

OP the support was toying with you. It seems their just pulling of delay about the issue and forget about it.
4828  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why bitcoin investment is better than Ponzi scheme on: May 01, 2021, 03:45:11 AM
It's like comparing a classic rolex to a local watch. If you are an investor what would you pick? If you have money to spare? Of course your going for a good quality one. Ponzi scheme isn't even considered as legit type of investment as this poses a scam or threat to most investors. History proven that and I'm not sure if there is a pyramiding or ponzi style that is legit. If there is one I'm not sure how long they can survive.
4829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DAO Maker Speculation Thread on: April 30, 2021, 10:54:27 AM
Now we have to pick either Ispolink, Makiswap or Xcad Network today.
Thats bad odds. I know daomaker is a good ido platform but this move will make their clients or holders move to other convenient platform. They are really in demand but now that they are doing so much projects that limits the privilege of their customer I don't know it could affect their reputation or activity.
4830  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Solstarter Token Sale[Scam please be aware] on: April 30, 2021, 10:41:08 AM
The website itself looks kind of sketchy.
Actually mate if you visit the original website of solstarter you can noticed the difference of the interface and this fake one is looks really cheap and obviously sketchy.

nice catch OP even though the scammers are pretty happy with the money that they have stolen already.
Its gonna be hard to return to investors those money as they don't aware that this is a scam. At first glance it will really look likes connected with all the social account but if you think about it. Why there is no announcement on their other pages right?
4831  Economy / Scam Accusations / Fake Solstarter Token Sale[Scam please be aware] on: April 30, 2021, 07:32:10 AM
What hapenned: As you all know there is a potential project called solstarter and as I've scanned this fake site doing a token sale is really alarming. The original website of solstarter is www.solstarter.org and if you visit the site obviously you will see on their social account that there is no sale activity being done. So the sale happening on this one is really a fake one. Also the process is so lame.

Original website:www.solstarter.org

Fake Website:
Code:
https://solstarter.fi/

ETH wallet address of scammer: 0x0dc545C12E95983B97120EcEEc3AcbaB63159800

NOTE: the wallet have now 96 eth on this address I'm not sure if some got victimised already but probably the scammer is sending eth on his own from his other wallet to make looks like believable but I believe there are some who got send already on this.

Please help report this website to turn down. Big mkney have already been stolen.

4832  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Modus on Twitter [Scammers commenting on legit topics] on: April 30, 2021, 03:20:08 AM
I agree that this is nothing new, I often saw it on Twitter, but also in the comments below the popular YT videos - the best protection is not to believe anything that is too good to be true.
The trick is this. However some are really cant stop themselves from doing free coins or tokens or something that involves money. Can't blame them but they should make sure that what they are going is legit and not a petty scammer waiting for their ignorance to hatch.

Anyway thanks for reporting too. The site must be go down soon to avoid victims of such scam.
4833  Other / Meta / Re: Post Deletion on: April 30, 2021, 02:42:00 AM
That's right OP. I've also experience deleted post where other post that obviously inappropriate was deleted too. I think moderators are entertain those with reports on the post and take action with that. Regardless the other post that don't have report.

Bitmax was right, if we noticed that it's the same meaning we just act by reporting it so moderators would take action.
4834  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Comers into crypto on: April 30, 2021, 02:11:36 AM
I would disagree with taking risks and investing. It is much easier to understand and study the project to which you want to entrust your funds for investment.
Somehow I understand you. This is posted on a beginners section where newbies are typically lurking. Yes taking risk is part of investment. But like the sole keyword "degen" in crypto space, there are people (like me) whom trying to put some risky play into the crypto trading. Sometime it's worth it sometime is really dissapointing.

OP is open minded about what he can lose. Newbies and those who are planning to start should reconcile and think many times but it's always better to invest on something we knew have a potential to be great someday.
4835  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Modus on Twitter [Scammers commenting on legit topics] on: April 29, 2021, 10:05:42 AM
What I am saying is that reporting this scams proliferating in social media is a futile thing because the moderation team are short-handed and ineffective in terms of addressing this report, imagine there are millions of scams and every scam is reported and there are only a thousand in moderation team, I don't think that they are going to be able to address all of that.
So you are suggesting ignore since we cant match up the number of those reporting and those who are interested to scam everyday. Maybe the idea its hurting but a small act still helps lessen the evilness of those guys.

I will spend a lot of time if going to report all of these websites.
Thats the idea. The website must be turn down immediately cause the information on a proven scam is more display and seen there.
4836  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Modus on Twitter [Scammers commenting on legit topics] on: April 29, 2021, 08:29:46 AM
Twitter is a shitty website anyway so I don't think that they will be able to cater the reports, it really is a sad thing because if you try and search for something that is pretty perverted in Twitter, there is a lot of it and no reports are made on this and has been happening for a long time.
Its on social media so everyone can freely make or do something like this. But we can help by reporting the website and tagged it as scam site. For me I could assure that its a scam site so we better report it and turn it down. No need to confirm it to pancakeswap, those guys are not low like this so obviously these are the scammers and lurers did.
4837  Economy / Scam Accusations / Modus on Twitter [Scammers commenting on legit topics] on: April 29, 2021, 05:46:05 AM
Hi guys, I've just scanning twitter post on my feed and noticed that a post tweet by coincodesk has some comments.

https://twitter.com/Cointelegraph/status/1387637771918094337?s=19

Its just odd that when I scrolled noticed these two response has attached profile of pancake swap bonus account. Obviously pancake wouldn't give such amount as bonus and method like that.

https://twitter.com/fandirali42/status/1387640408625319939?s=19

Check their response:

Following their link will get you this profile.

https://twitter.com/BONUS_PANCAKE?s=09

Obviously this is a dummy account. The real pancakeswap twitter has too many followers. Also there is a site attached to it that have content like this ( see below quoted message)

Code:
https://pancakebonus.com/

To verify your CAKE address, just send from 50 to 10,000 CAKE to the generated address below and get from 150 to 30,000 CAKE sent back to the address you sent CAKE from or the one you specified below, you will get X3 of what you send to the giveaway address.

In this event, participant will get 3X(TRIPPLE) of whatever they send to the giveaway address instantly which can be traded on any exchange

How To Participate:
Step1: Make sure you have at least 50 CAKE or above in your wallet.
Step2: Enter the amount you wish to invest below.
Step3: Enter the CAKE address you want to receive the bonus with
Step4: Click the "Generate Payment" button to generate the payment address.
Step5: Send the amount you entered to the generated address.
Step6: Wait for at least 5 - 10 minutes after your transaction is confirmed.
The 3X bonus will be sent to the address you entered or the one you sent the CAKE from.

Breward everyone this is very tempting but the protocol or process they used are for amateurs. No one would send a payment for a free giveaway damn.[/hr]

4838  Economy / Reputation / Re: KICKICO-KickEx:Legit business or scam in making? on: April 29, 2021, 04:54:31 AM
Have you heard of any true case of someone who was able to unfreeze these coins? Why we did not hear the stories of some people who were able to unfreeze 888,888 KICK and thus stir up a little greed?
If the value goes close to 5 to 6k then I maybe try to pull recovering it. But right now it's not that much si we will just waste time and money.

But spending a 500 or 1k usdt on something glike worth 10k above is worth it right? However no one actually speaks here in even though we knew there are dozens of account or 2wallet address received the 888,888 token of kickIco
4839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pre-Sale] KittyCorn x CryptoPunks BEP721 NFT on BSC on: April 29, 2021, 03:38:59 AM
I think for a serious project you wouldn't mind if you would buy a copper membership for posting images right? It's also upgrade your account to some exception for a newbie limits.

Upgrade now your account, so you can post some images, a legit project would want a clean and good exposure to a place like this. Will you planning to do a fund raising for the project or purely nft issuance?
4840  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best way to cash out? on: April 29, 2021, 03:28:35 AM
Hey guys,

I have only been using Kucoin for a few months now and I wanted to know what the best method to cash out my crypto to USD would be? Should I trade it all to Tether then transfer to a USD exchange like Bittrex or something else?
I think Binance will be the perfect gauge aside from supporting lots of banks and usd related finance institution you can always find resort on the options.

Like what GreatArkansas mentioned the p2p system there is totally convenient. I scanned the list of banks and I'm sure you can find one that supported USD. Like wise depends on your location.
