4821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: April 19, 2017, 09:16:07 AM
From my perspective Bitcoin is an alternative to fiat money and traditional finances, a choice that I have. Bitcoin helped me in many situations in my life when I had no other possibilities. It's could also be business opportunities through investment and trading strategies and I beleive everyone can use Bitcoins in the way that best suits him.
4822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what hinders bitcoin to become a mainstream currency? on: April 19, 2017, 08:46:56 AM
Acceptance and Awareness are problems that hinder bitcoin to become the mainstream currency not Security, Crime or Inflation, people need to be open-minded about Bitcoin because they don't know anything about it. They should try to get out of their comfort zone and try new things in life. Security is not a problem in bitcoin, as it has a strong network or type of security that can prevent unexpected attacks. So by having this kind of security, crime can also be prevented. As for inflation, there is always a huge possibility that bitcoin will continue to grow as more people starts accepting it.

This is all true but even if all this was solved and in best order it's not very likely that Bitcoin would be mainstream currency. And not just Bitcoin, any virtual currency and the reason is exactly that, virtual cryptocurrency. This world and the finances despite all progress and technologies are functioning prety much traditional and conservative so material fiat money will rule this world for a long time.
4823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex- bank blocked all their deposits on: April 18, 2017, 02:58:06 PM
as long as there is no affect the price of bitcoin and sump they all do not realize it.
I think we already have an effect on bitcoin price. It went up during the last 24 hours.
People buy bitcoins with their fiat they have on bitfinex, because that way they can withdraw their money.
This increases the demand and the price goes up. And as long as the price goes up they do not sell.

Yes, the price going up could be related to Bitfinex but also pure coincidence. The Bitfinex issue was known few days ago and some even have predicted this would influence Bitcoin price in negative way, so that it will go down. Which hasn't happen. And probably not all are buying Bitcoins with fiat withdrawn from Bitfinex, some are just lucky they managed to get to their money and at the moment they don't want further risk.
Anyway, hope that Bitfinex will solve that soon without customers having major problems because of it.
4824  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: April 18, 2017, 01:18:58 PM
Gambling site since people spend more and get addicted and comeback again more often on gambling site more than dating just my opinion though.

I wouldn't bet on this. People are getting more and more lonely with no time for real life and romance so they often turn to dating sites as a quick solution. Gambling sites are very profitable because people lose a lot of money there but some good dating site could have even more visitors. I think neither of these could be wrong.
4825  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better? crypto coin to crypto coin OR crypto coin to fiat money? on: April 18, 2017, 12:42:32 PM
Depends on your goals and how much risk are you willing to take, how much would you like to invest. There are so many altcoins and its very hard to monitor the market and decide which one to go for. And for better results you should stick only to some coins. Crypto to fiat is more profitable probably but also connected with more risks but I would still choose that option.
4826  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC doing good after this big dump on: April 18, 2017, 11:18:18 AM
What big dump exactly? There wasn't any huge or vwry important change in price, I would call it a smaller correction. That hasn't influenced the price big deal and the price has recovered and back to track very soon. This has also shown that Bitcoin is more stable and resistant then it was ever before.
4827  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: April 18, 2017, 10:27:23 AM
Maybe getting rich with Bitcoins seams so attractive and easy to people because of price volatility. I think everyone hopes that one day the price will go to the moon and with the amount of Bitcoins they have in their wallets, no matter how small, they will be rich over night. In real life this is not so easy and you have to have a lot of funds, knowledge, patience and time to get rich with Bitcoins.
4828  Other / Off-topic / Re: The reason that bitcointalk.org add value to the world on: April 18, 2017, 03:48:21 AM
Maybe it's too strong to say that bitcointalk added value to the world but it certainly added value to the Bitcoin world. No matter the some low quality posts and topics it's still the best forum for cryptocurrencies and to gather people from Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies world to communicate together and share their experiences.
4829  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: April 17, 2017, 04:51:38 PM
Local authorities and governments could encourage small business to accept Bitcoins especialy in terms of tax privilegies and similar but the problem is that authorities itself mainly don't support Bitcoin. So the risk is often too big for this local businesses and they just can't afford it.
4830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 1400 on: April 17, 2017, 04:41:35 PM
1400$ would be very nice to see but I think we'll have to wait for that for a while. In the upcoming period Bitcoin price will stay around 1200$ and the market will remain more or less stable. Many issues like fork have been a kind of burden for Bitcoin but still is holding well but despite that we could see 1400$ maybe in the second half of the year.
4831  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: April 17, 2017, 04:32:42 PM
Everything that has some material value could be used for corruptive activities so unfortunately Bitcoin is not an exclusion. Maybe it's not so often used for that like fiat money and the volatility is also limitating factor but still Bitcoin is also connected to corruption as well as to money laundering.
4832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto’s land leading asians to Bitcoin mass adoption? on: April 17, 2017, 04:12:31 PM
Japan is very often mentioned here like the new leader in Bitcoins adoption and promotion but I totaly agree that some European countries are completely underestimated in that area. Like Netherlands for example which has done a lot in terms of accepting and incorporating Bitcoin. And it's not only the size or perception of country that matters.
4833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Noobs thoughts on BTC on: April 17, 2017, 03:54:39 PM
Don't look so far in the future, there is no use of it. You can't know what will happen and how the Bitcoin market will develope. Let's focus on now and maybe 2-3 years from now, everything else has no sense. Besides Bitcoin is faced with challenges and issues that should be solved now otherwise the future will not be bright.
4834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anonymity? on: April 16, 2017, 05:59:11 PM
Anonimity counts, I think it's important. Not because someone would like to hide something but we all have the right to privacy. Maybe I think this way because I'm from Europe and there is privacy very valuable. Many people started using Bitcoins because it ensured them privacy and not everyone could track and monitor their transaction but in the meantime that has changed a lot and Bitcoin has lost a great deal of anonimity.
4835  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Opportunity is here?? on: April 16, 2017, 05:48:08 PM
Trading is always opportunity just depends how you use it, will you make the profit or loss, depends how skilled and experienced you are. This opportunity is not for everyone and not everyone would know how to deal with it so at the end they could be very disappointed. If you watch the market very closley and follow all the trends you could have opportunities almost every day.
4836  Economy / Economics / Re: Analyzing the potential size of the crypto market on: April 16, 2017, 05:28:20 PM
The cryptocurrency world is growing each day, the value is rising all the time and new coins are appearing all the time. For sure big money is circulating in crypto world and I beleive this is one of the fastest growing and developing market. This is something that can't be stopped anymore and where many people see their chance to profit and make something new.
4837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all nations of the world started to use bitcoin on: April 16, 2017, 05:19:37 PM
If every single nation in the world would use Bitcoins then Bitcoin would become unique world currency. But that is not very likely to happen because not all people in the world have equal opportunities to access the Bitcoin and use it. That would probably also influence the price that would rise extremly but like I've said this is not likely to happen.
4838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons of why bitcoin accepting shopping sites are not famous on: April 16, 2017, 05:15:37 PM
There are not much web shops that are accepted Bitcoins and they are not well promoted as well so they need better advertising. Also you can't find many diverse shops so users can't buy as much different goods as they would like to. I think many merchants still think that accepting Bitcoins brings too much risk for them.
4839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: April 15, 2017, 06:13:00 PM
I don't know if there are means to make governments accept the Bitcoin but I know that they will embrace Bitcoins if they can clearly see they could make the use of it and make money of it. And the one thing that disturbs governments the most is that they can't control, supervise and fully regulate Bitcoin.
4840  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: April 15, 2017, 05:58:31 PM
In my country Bitcoin infrastructure is not so developed so there are no many merchants and places where people could spend Bitcoins. The progress in that way is getting very slowly. But the solution for spending Bitcoins is using the Bitcoin debit card which is accepted everywhere and easy to use for paying stuff and services, bills and actualy everything you wish.
