IMHO, we should at least start banning confirmed serial scammers.
This. I don't even get it why aren't these users who are 100% confirmed that they're scammers aren't banned. Their thread is still living though it's locked and trust hidden then using autobuy link.
This seems like a trivial thing to do and isn't really prone to abuse. Moderators could verify the claims via their trust ratings. Those autobuy links tend to be very annoying, yes.

I think we should disable "hide trust" exclusively in Marketplace, Auctions and others that I forgot to mention that involves trades.
Another issue that got my attention yesterday was Beginners & Help. Someone offered people help to claim BTG and asked users to PM them. However, they have been sending users a link to some website that asks them to input their private key(s). Tl;dr to the issue: Trust ratings are not visible in that section.

i confirm that my account passivebesiege already back to me  pls help me to remove the negative feedback .
Done. You should lock this thread now. You can find this option in the lower left corner of the screen (at the end of the thread).
4843  Economy / Reputation / Re: Strange activity, Is not me. on: November 07, 2017, 07:31:23 AM
My account is newbie. Im sure, I always jump to right link. (Bookmarked) (Login as always based timer). No news apps / new site.
That doesn't necessarily mean that you haven't been compromised.

more funny, why he knows I will soon make a transaction?
If he/she has your password, then they can read your PMs.

If there is found keylogger or something else (control my computer). But he didn't steal another data?
Then the more likely culprit is phishing, but you can't often know for sure.

All of these comments are based on the assumption that you aren't faking this.
4844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: November 07, 2017, 07:05:43 AM
Seriously, I don't understand the haters.
Exposing facts does not necessarily imply hating something.

I have been using my baikal miner for this coin and the whole process has taught me a lot. I could mine DASH and lose money or I could mine DeepOnion and be on the ground floor of something possibly great.
If you think that DeepOnion could be "possibly something great", then you're either a shill or you're bamboozled. With the latter, you are better off quitting cryptocurrency until you can identify, distinguish and call out scams such as this one.

The community has been very helpful in educating me about cryptocurrency and I feel it has good energy.
There is no community behind DeepOnion other than a large group of farmed/shill accounts.

People have even sent me onion coins just by participating in the Bitcoin Forum.
A small price to pay for you to promote this turd.
4845  Economy / Reputation / Re: Strange activity, Is not me. on: November 07, 2017, 06:34:52 AM
JESUS. How possible my account on outcotrol? I'm newbie and my account passwords hard.
Phishing scam, keylogger, general system compromise, etc. Plenty of possibilities.

Please anyone could detect whos Sad
No.

Admin, could you give me a last login IP address / locations? Please Sad
I don't think that the administration is going to release any such information to you given how they acted towards them in the past.

Telegram limiting you? Roll Eyes

Since I'm mainly on this forum, I chose to not have to resort to join other communities and spend unnecessary time researching something that should be very simple and signing up on another forum, going and buying a burner phone #, etc... Again, just not how things should be IMO.
"Burner phone"? Nobody talked about a burner phone; the pile of your bullshit keeps on growing.

Whatever the reason is, I've never gotten a straight and direct answer , support or anything from GunBot since buying it.
You can blame the support staff for that, or yourself.

I'll stick to other bots instead and will recommend so to others as well.
Enjoy your trip. You, nor your bullshit won't be missed.
4847  Economy / Services / Re: ● dothebeats' Campaign Management Services ¦ Looking for work ● on: November 07, 2017, 06:08:50 AM
That's how the market goes.
Ergo "whoring" yourself, ergo contributes to spam.

Also, offering someone his/her service for a cheaper rate is not "whoring oneself" out, and freelancers from different parts of the world would likely say the same.
That's exactly what it is.

I've encountered several people asking for a high rate in exchange of their "amazing" services yet always delivered half-baked results with many compromises done on their tasks, so generalizing that someone who asks for a cheaper rate for their services won't deliver better results than those who asks for a fortune is plainly wrong.
You're comparing things from fields that are not relevant. You should be well aware that there isn't a single manager here that is both cheap and good at what they do.

I know I'm not one of the prominent guys around like you but that doesn't mean I don't understand how the market goes.
Given that you've offered a fixed price for a variable workload says the opposite. You have a flawed understanding of markets.
4848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GUNBOT] Automatic Poloniex Profit Generator on: November 06, 2017, 11:04:33 PM
Just for telegram? Not worth it. Gees.
Indeed, $5 costs a lot.

This is why people are so turned off regarding GunBot. I tell them it earns pretty well and works, but this cloak and dagger crap is pissing people off.
I had a few people from here message me talking about this before. Too bad.
That is a load of bullshit.
1) There are several thousand Gunbot buyers.
2) Using Telegram is not a requirement.
3) You can communicate with Gunthar here via PM, or with pretty much anyone on https://gunthy.org/forum/index.php.
4849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GUNBOT] Automatic Poloniex Profit Generator on: November 06, 2017, 10:50:53 PM
What if I don't have a random throw away number, because it needs one to send a text to?
Buy one at the closest store.
4850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GUNBOT] Automatic Poloniex Profit Generator on: November 06, 2017, 10:43:00 PM
I don't like telegram also because it needs your phone to log into. I get enough junk and spam as it is.  Angry
It does not. You can register with any random throwaway phone number and then use the web or desktop version.

I would love to know why the overly secrecy though.
You're exaggerating. Telegram is just a platform that was chosen to be used for these operations. Nothing overly secretive about it.
4851  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Extortion via the forum 0.02762 btc on: November 06, 2017, 09:13:45 PM
It would be much better if you compiled this whole story into one thread and kept it there. I recommend locking the others and archiving them.
4852  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ATTENTION POTENTIAL SCAM! http://bitcointalkaccounts.com/ on: November 06, 2017, 09:12:18 PM
Tagged both Seya and cheapbtctalkaccounts.

All thread refer to a fake platform.
All topic are LOCKED! You cannot reply you cannot ask anything!
Usually they are self moderated, but locking is also another way of attempting to hide their shady activities. Reeks of Quickseller's practices.
4853  Other / Meta / Re: How about we start banning scammers? on: November 06, 2017, 08:53:02 PM
Excellent shitpost, 5/7.

We can protect ourselves from forum scammers with 100% guarantee.
Fallacy.

That first a person was scammed he reports to moderator and the scammer gets negative trust.
Bullshit. Plenty of people got scammed by people with negative trust. Some scammers don't receive negative in time and manage to scam several members.

IMHO, we should at least start banning confirmed serial scammers.
4854  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OGNasty abuse of rank to ruin accounts in good standing on: November 06, 2017, 08:31:44 PM
Good point, maybe we need Cyrus or Theymos to clarify this.
There was a exclusion test once, but I don't want to say who was participating in it, and 2 DT1 exclusions of another DT1 member did absolutely nothing. Therefore, it was always my belief that DT1 members can never kick out another DT1 member. IMO ask theymos.
Then that would kill off the "self policing" theory and toss it back to Theymos.
I believe this to be the case with DT1.

Msgs have been sent, no update.  Perhaps nothing can be done--just does not seem right.  Blatant abuse.
The only other option is to PM theymos and/or Cyrus. Other than that, if OgNasty doesn't remove it himself, it will stay there.
4855  Economy / Reputation / Re: Stolen Signature Design on: November 06, 2017, 08:24:29 PM
Minus the symbol on the left, and the change of color, it looks like a 1:1 copy of your design. Therefore, it is obviously stolen.
4856  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CARTAXI , PLEASE THEYMOS RELEASE THE IP OF THOSE CRIMINALS on: November 06, 2017, 04:32:24 PM
1) An IP address is useless.
2) Theymos won't do that.
3) If you truly desire that information, then subpoena the forum.
4) That won't bring back the tokens anyways.
4857  Economy / Services / Re: NEED BOUNTY AND SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN MANAGER on: November 06, 2017, 03:58:12 PM
Dear sir PM has been sent,
I would appreciate if you will consider me in.
Farmed account? Check.
Partially literate English? Check.
Shitposting? Check.
No experience in management? Check.

I just saved OP the time he/she would waste on reading your PM.
4858  Economy / Services / Re: NEED BOUNTY AND SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN MANAGER on: November 06, 2017, 03:34:57 PM
What's wrong with my apply?
Everything.

The only thing about it that I can say is: I don't have experience, YET. However, I need to do this job once to get experience, like everything in the world.
You first have to stop shitposting yourself.

I think I'm pretty qualified to do this, regardless this point.
No, you're not even remotely qualified.

PM Sent, I am Interested.
What is up with all these random shitposters applying for a position that they are clearly not qualified for? Do not hire any of these unless you want to stab yourself in the foot. The other applicants are okay.
It's okay not to get hired, I will take your statement as a constructive criticism. Thank you.
I think you have your own thread + have managed some campaigns(?). If that is the case, then my inclusion of your post was wrong.
4859  Other / Meta / Re: bounty threads are full of facebook shares links and tweet reports on: November 06, 2017, 03:21:23 PM
maybe the mods can require the campaign managers to at least create a form where participants shall submit their weekly reports.
This would fight back against the blatant account farming via spamming bounty posts. However, this also then brings downsides:
1) Harder to detect accounts that are almost solely spamming bounties.
2) Harder-to-impossible for outsiders to detect cheaters.

Anyhow, I don't see this being introduced as a forum-wide policy anytime soon. Maybe you should PM mprep.
4860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: #NO2X - JOIN THE WAR! on: November 06, 2017, 03:19:22 PM
Not really useful, no.

That doesn't make any sense. The paragraph below is the definition of what's required for 100% uptime and reliability.

So Core somehow guarantees 100% uptime and offloads the work that permits it to the cranks, deadbeats and failures who litter the scene? They are no doubt control freaks but for a good reason.

Every other iteration has completely pissed all over the important back room stuff which is usually uncovered within a few seconds by real people.
Comparing Bitcoin Core code to Garzik code, or Bitcoin XT or BU or Classic or [insertRandomFailedTakeover] code is a joke. You can't even make a proper analogy that would both accurately describe the difference yet point out how absurd it is to even attempt to compare said differences. More Bitcoin companies and big players need to offer at least a single paid position for working on Bitcoin Core. I think I've recently spotted one at Xapo.
