4841  Other / Meta / Re: Source merit increase. on: November 14, 2019, 09:55:27 PM
If you say “local economic issues” are you talking about posts and threads found in the Economics and Press section? Or are you also including literal economic issues found on local boards?
I think he means boards like Bitcoin discussion, Economics... If there is a quality post discussing on how Bitcoin and crypto is affecting economics in different parts of the world. Probably something like what you observed in your local area first hand and how its being impacted by crypto.

I think with a lot of merit sources receiving a huge bump in their sMerits to give they should start to also venture out on non-English boards as well if they do count on the certain categories you have provided.
That would be upon the local board Merit sources which i think are there in plenty at the moment.

BTW, I think people who make quality posts both in Local boards and the general English boards have almost 2 times chances of getting merit from both places than users who post only in the English boards or Local boards.
I have seen a number of members active in both local and English boards rank up very quickly compared to those active in only one type of boards.

If i had some data scrapping and statistical knowledge, i would try to study this... unfortunate, i know nothing  Cheesy
4842  Other / Meta / Re: {LIST}of the Merit Sources asking for more/less source merit, @theymos. on: November 14, 2019, 08:37:26 PM
I can confirm that I also received increase of the source merit so everything is fine now.
Thank you theymos.
This is some good news  Smiley

Merit sources:
Quote
There are 90 merit sources with a total merit generation of up to 18821 sMerit per 30 days
I followed the link and saw different figures
Quote
There are 98 merit sources with a total merit generation of up to 21671 sMerit per 30 days

Does this mean that 8 new merit sources were added recently?
4843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 14, 2019, 02:26:38 PM
I still think Leicester will fall away & finish outside the top 4 but then againI thought Arsenal or Spurs would catch them the other year when they went on to win it.

If you put a gun to my head & told me to predict the top 4 at the end of the season I’d go -

1st - LFC
2nd - City
3rd - Chelsea
4th Arsenal
Hahaha Arsenal in the top 4 seems like a total dream according to me. They started off well but seem to be losing it every Match day that comes by. Aubameyang would score almost in every game, and he is the reason things are not even much worse. Right now he hasn't scored in a couple of games and look how Arsenal are dropping points. I think Leicester or Man United stand a better chance of taking up that fourth place.
4844  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting Mods to be a little careful before deleting my posts. on: November 13, 2019, 03:28:32 PM
So the OP claim that Heisenberg_Hunter is reporting his posts is only based on his self judgement with no authentic proof ?
It would seem so.
S/he probably has some personal grudges with H.H and is trying to stir up some stupid drama in Meta. These are the kind of things that are toxic to the community in the long run.
4845  Economy / Reputation / Re: I am considered a "spammer" for a retilation negative trust completely non sense on: November 13, 2019, 02:20:37 PM
@bitbollo i have seen you for quite a while now trying to fight scammers around the forum which is really awesome. After looking into how it also started i think you guys should remove the feedback you left each other and move on as if it never happened because its not worth it. Nobody has scammed anyone or exhibited scammy behavior which is the major reason for Trust feedback.

Right now it may seem something minor but if one of you get on DT which is not hard these days, then the other user's trust score or reputation will just get damaged just because of something simple that can be solved through a simple mutual agreement.
4846  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PDXCOIN :: PLAGIARIZED WHITEPAPER & FAKE TEAM on: November 13, 2019, 01:24:10 PM
Good Job on exposing the scammers OP

After they knew this thread they removed the ANN thread It was very funny Grin saw this thread they ran away right away and it was good in my opinion that they knew that wanting to cheat people now couldn't because this scam board helped many people who were projects that would scam .
They edited/removed the original post because they are trying to cover their tracks so that they can make announcement elsewhere with no links to the scam accusation but luckily for us, OP archived their thread.

4847  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin margin trading platform, which is better? on: November 12, 2019, 08:43:06 PM
It just depends on what you like from a platform. If it's liquidity then Bitmex is the way to go. However Bitmex processes withdrawals only once a day. So one should be ready for that.

There are also other platforms that vary with different pros and cons. The best thing would be to try out each of them with small amounts of money and based on your personal experience
4848  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinWiki.org – The First Multilingual CryptoWiki on: November 12, 2019, 06:51:37 PM
I created an account at bitcoinwiki.org and submitted an edit which would remove the scam text and link. Now I see the edit has been rejected and my account has been deleted.

Nice going supporting scams, bitcoinwiki.org.
This is really sad and at the same time a shameful act by bitcoinwiki.org.
What is so hard when distinguishing between bitminter.in and bitminter.com. I can only imagine the number of people who might fall victims and get tricked by the scammer's link
4849  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM cryptex.net hold my fund 210,000$ and refused to pay back on: November 12, 2019, 01:57:12 PM
<...>
Is your exchange LEGAL ? Could you show us the REGISTRATION documents, like where is it registered and who is the owner ?
Still waiting for Cryptex to answer the above questions...
Imagine!
I thought they were even an independent exchange  Shocked

They are shady as hell and their acts could probably be the reason the funds were blocked on binance and now they are bringing the blame to the customer.

Basing of the findings, these chaps are not to be trusted at all and i think it's time for me to leave my negative feedback... Until the sort out their mess at least.
4850  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM cryptex.net hold my fund 210,000$ and refused to pay back on: November 11, 2019, 06:11:47 PM
Since October 27, we have been conducting individual work to unlock the funds of our customers on external trading platforms.
Today we sent evidence to the administration of this forum, and it will not be published to self-proclaimed investigators.
We are not going to send blocked user’s money anywhere, funds are on wallets controlled by us. As soon as the PuyaMaster's funds that were involved in operations on external platforms by our users are released, his account will be unlocked and then he will be able to use the funds at his own discretion.

Whatever crime he committed at least he deserves to know the exact reason the account was blocked.  If it was due to illegal gambling then state it to him that way.  Otherwise with all those stories nobody is going to believe you here because we have seen scammers pull of such stunts before.

I don't think PMing admin will help that much because at the end of the day DT members will still keeo their negative feedback on your account without seeing any "evidence"  you sent to admin.

Just so you know,  scam is not moderated in the forum and i doubt admin has time for that too.
4851  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM cryptex.net hold my fund 210,000$ and refused to pay back on: November 10, 2019, 10:36:38 PM
He also posted that: "funds were blocked by our security service on November 8th 2019, funds are still kept on client’s account but will remain blocked Until the investigation is completed"

and "his block was caused by requests from law enforcement agencies"

Those are typical excuses used in the past by scam exchanges to steal money from their users but let us wait to see a further reply by the Cryptex.net account
It shouldn't be a secret anymore. After blocking the customers funds, they should as well be able to maintain transparency by telling the customer and us what exact reasons lead to the account blockade, which security service asked for the blockade and what the way forward is.

I am not buying this story until it's clear which law enforcement agencies ordered for the blockade and way? I mean crime is crime, why hide the details now when it's critical?

Another way would have been to reverse the deposit and return the money to customer if they are not comfortable with the fact that the origin of the funds is unknown. What is so hard with that?
4852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 10, 2019, 09:53:50 PM
Is the premier league already closed?
After just 12 games, most likely not.
I know it's still very early but if Liverpool don't lift this one, then they Never will in a long time. Manchester City were simply out classed. With all the big guns they had in Sterling, Aguero, Jesus, Bernado Silva etc they still could not match Liverpool's goal hunger.
4853  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: November 10, 2019, 08:10:31 PM
Now I only need to get my Salah to score for the 30 mBTC free bet =p
I was also waiting for Salah to give me my first free bet in the Majestic 7.

My picks were: Pereyra - Abraham - Kane - Vardy - Jimenez - Rashford - Salah.
So 5 out of 7  Cool
Woooow Lucky you  Smiley

As for me: T . Pukki, T . Abraham, H . Kane, J . Vardy, A . Traore, A . Martial, S . Mane

Guess i will have to wait again after international break  Sad
4854  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer Report on: November 10, 2019, 01:25:26 PM
It would be nice if you could follow the scam reporting format described here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0

Just wondering why you would go through a shady process of buying and Ebay/paypal account from someone. Why not just create your own?
If you provide proof like payment proof and screenshots. I could also leave the scammer some negative feedback.
4855  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM cryptex.net hold my fund 210,000$ and refused to pay back on: November 10, 2019, 12:57:27 PM
My first time hearing about such an exchange. Why do you even trust such non reputable exchanges which such a large amount in the first place yet we have the likes of binance, kucoin etc?
It's not my money but i already feel so sad for you.

If they are scammers, that's a very decent amount for them to make an exit scam. I am giving them about 24 to 48 hours to respond, or I am going to tag them
4856  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto exchanges comparison [trade fee + listing fee + age + mobile app + more!] on: November 09, 2019, 10:46:47 PM
Thanks for the information! However, there is one question that I'd like to ask. When did you trade the last time at HitBTC? Was it (very) recently?
I did trade today. I even withdrew some EOS coins without any troubles. HitBTC is the least favorite of the exchanges i use thou due to its abnormal withdrawal fees.
4857  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Recover Your Bitcoin (Another way to loss more bitcoin) - SCAM! on: November 09, 2019, 09:26:26 PM
It's definitely scam. They have a group of more related scam/phishing websites.

Is this the definition of post bursting? I'll let you decide.
The daily paid post count was reduced to a maximum of 5. and if you look closely at his post history. I think there is some bit of spacing through out the day.
I wouldn't call it post bursting... Maybe if it was the case of trying to make 20 posts per day. Maybe he could use a warning.
4859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 09, 2019, 07:17:11 PM
I did not expect to see Tottenham 1:1 draw against Sheffield United,
after they had nice win in Europe Champions League. Maybe they where tired a bit.

I hope Arsenal will win away...but it is still 0:0 there
It's time to accept that the great days of Tottenham are gone. They are now one team that is so inconsistent and will lose or draw when you expect them to win.
I would never consider including them in my bet slip even if they are playing a weak side.
4860  Economy / Gambling / Re: wixiplay.io => hacked and scam from owner on: November 09, 2019, 06:38:27 PM

Just what we did a great security update.  Everything is safe now including users accounts. There is no gate open to hackers anymore.
Please if it possible and you are okay with it. Can you provide the Transaction ID of the transfer of funds of the 0.5 BTC so that it can act as some solid proof that the thread starter is a dirty scammer and thief.

I am more than willing to help tag and support the red flag against the scammer  Wink
