Sure,  Everybody have USDT.
Its a safe heaven currency.
I agree to that. Majority have usdt but I beg to disagree on the last statement that its a safe heaven currency. Yes it could be talk of the town now due to coinbase listing but it never means that it's already 100% safe.

It still being monitor by Sec as much as I know. They did won the case but that is not enough I guess as these evidences are saw by our helpful community cypto enthusiast.
4842  Other / Meta / Re: Modify Display Name of Account on: April 28, 2021, 06:58:16 AM
I have created another account, But when I log in it says "You are unable to post. How to enable posting." When I further research the issue and possible solution I have found that "Your IP address has previously been used for evil on this forum, or it is a known proxy/VPN/Tor exit node, so you are required to pay a small fee before you are able to post messages or send PMs. You can still use all of the read-only features without paying."
Here I need help from senior members
Some accounts usually end up like this. Probably the one you created got banned. The only solution is message admin and try to unlock your account or better pay the small fees asking due to this.

For me its probably the network got some wrong confirmation. Anyway why not used this account the one you used instead?
4843  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reason why merit is giving to who merited them on: April 28, 2021, 06:19:26 AM
I'm not really sure why there are such topics on the reason Merits are given out but it's pretty simple. It's up to whoever wants to give to who.
Maybe some people like OP are so concern about it. Not a bad thing actually, since his observation are quite right. However like most users merit should not be a big deal cause anyone can give it freely at the expense of what he want provided its not using on buy and sell or cheating.

OP is probably concern with that. Newbies are likely concern about Merits since they are curious why some merit are sent to those some that aren't deserving.

OP what you said all are correct but sometime there are exception to that how merits are received being witty and humorous even with slight response can give or earned you merit. Cause like what you said, it depends on the reader right? Don't make it complicated it's simple as that.
4844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now Mark Cuban? C'mon Doge! on: April 28, 2021, 03:48:07 AM
This is truly an entertaining business. These people knew that dogecoin is just a hype coin which Elon Musk started to shill esrly this year. I dont know why so many people are believing these rich people. Imagine how Elon take profit on Bitcoin during 60k plus, of course these people are gonna say or talk on social media after they already secured a bag. Check them again if their quiet and observed dogecoin price. It's simple they promote it since they are luring people that will provide liquidity on their bags.
4845  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Hero Satoshi Nakamoto Vanish 10 years Ago Today on: April 28, 2021, 01:16:42 AM
I believe he/she/group will keep up the plan and always try to being anonymous. It is good for the world to know the real identity of Hal Finney but sadly he was gone years ago.
They succeeded on doing that so far. As there is no lead to to Satoshi existence. As much as I wanted to know his identity of course everybody does! Who wouldn't wanted to know the guy/group make a one time innovation that will shape the future. Hal Finney will always be in the crypto community. His memories will never be forgotten. I wish he stay longer to guide and shape the bitcoin community.
4846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: not enough funds to swap USDT on: April 28, 2021, 12:57:09 AM
It seems you are using a wallet with dex that have supported multichain or your btc is on tokenized smart contract of eth? Like wbtc?

Or if it does on separate on chain wallets then you have no choice but to add more funds. Gas fee now is very high and sometime it peak more. Better to add more or you'll end up being dissapoitned if your transaction got burnt when it failed during sending.
4847  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Hero Satoshi Nakamoto Vanish 10 years Ago Today on: April 27, 2021, 11:49:54 PM
Sometimes I want to believe Satoshi Nakomoto was not working alone, most people believe Hal Finney is Satoshi, because his  knowledge about Bitcoin was something else, he was the only person Satoshi had direct email contact with, he was the first person beside Satoshi  to do bitcoin transactions.
Actually some glimpse or hint like that can let us believe that he is Satoshi. But the fact that Satoshi had his own account different from Hal Finney is another evidence that they are different entity.

Not unless Satoshi did a multiple account and his alt his HAL Finney. Funny isn't it if that's the case. I believe he still alive and working on something else again, if not maybe his not interested on money at all and just seeing all those crazy news about his creation.
4848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin liquidations briefly surpass Bitcoin. New altcoin era? on: April 27, 2021, 04:34:58 AM
I think the era of altcoins is coming. It's too easy to make a cryptocurrency by ERC20 such as BNB, USDT, VeChain or Snapbots,... You can find thousands of coins so far. Listing it on Uniswap, and you'll be rich! Not really simple like that but even you can do it.
Not all tokens that listed on uniswap are bigtime they can eventually scam people by putting up a fake liquidity and share some on twitter and telegram and tomorrow after that. You cannot stop these guys but altcoin era will mostly the profitable group here. I've seen a lot of these kind of bots.

Honestly the doge case is quite more a bit early. Elon Musk as we know it he always here not even thinking the dinner later.
4849  Other / Meta / Re: Rule # 7 - Signature in Profile - Allowed? on: April 27, 2021, 01:03:01 AM
I'm also curious with the OP's topic if ever that kind of act is considered begging or not. Now it's clear for those rule specifically number 7 "No begging"

I think this rule more applies to posts, than profile of user.

Obviously the context on DashingAgent profile is clearly considered begging but thanks to HilariousCo for confirming that it does not ruled on user's profile but only limited to spam and comments to post.
4850  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you learn enough about crypto to make smart decisions? on: April 27, 2021, 12:52:28 AM
learning bitcoin by reading the whitepaper and more crypto's.
Check the highlighted words. This is the best start mate, to get involve in crypto and understand the root of blockchain by reading the bitcoin Whitepaper.

More crypto you means altcoins right? It's also good to expand your knowledge on that however be cautious cause altcoins have also some scammy side when you know them well in the long run.

Anyway just hang in here and you'll eventually discover what I am talking about.
4851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Please help me transfer crypto from Binance to Bitrue on: April 26, 2021, 03:05:24 AM
Since you are aware of the pairing of tokens. I suggest look for coin or token that both exchange have and find the one with smallest withdrawal fee from Binance on that way you less the expenses on transferring your coin to exchange with bitrue. Regardless of that, transaction, exchange that token or coin to usdt then buy the token you want now.
4852  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [banned mixer] SCAMMERS! on: April 26, 2021, 12:55:37 AM
If i get my money back then i will update this post, until then Beware of [banned mixer]
Thanks for the heads up. It seems like they will not return the money anymore. Looks like there will be no update from you. Sorry for your loss.

OP reported about this website quite a while ago that this mixer is a scammer.
People might be not seeing the warning clearly or ignored. That's a consequence for the loss but I'm sure they will take this as a hard lesson to check out warnings being post here.
4853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Brandt believes that Biden may do a lot of damage to bitcoin on: April 26, 2021, 12:28:27 AM
I'm sure the damage wouldn't be that bad. The scenario last bi run is different now. Many institutions are joining the bitcoin herd. But this unexpected announcement by Biden surely get scared some of the investors that's why the market for Bitcoin is on sideways. I'm sure this is temporary and bitcoin will bounce back again as it on the trend of bullish sentiment.

I'm still bullish of that bitcoin will be able to reach 100k this year and more.
4854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are your opinions about ontology(#ont) and swipe(#sxp) on: April 25, 2021, 01:18:50 PM
I am new to the cryptocurrency market and I would like to learn about the market better. I think they both have promising projects but altcoins are very unpredictable so I am curious about your ideas about #ont and #sxp.
Sxp is a very strong project. You are well aware that Binance is the owner now of sxp and they are probably going to support it all the way. The product of sxp really shows their potential as their pacing is so fast. About ontology, I'm not really fan of them but they are also a top project blockchain still good for long term.
4855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for new projects... on: April 25, 2021, 08:50:29 AM
Im looking for some good projects which have a lot of potential and are future proof.

I've already found one such project - Divi Project and im looking for something similar.

Looking forward for any suggestions
Hey if I were you I would focus on those new hot shot gets on avalanche network. Like the upcoming Benqi finance, penguin finance, avalaunch and many more that reside on their network. Avax is a sophisticated and has potential to be like eth. Its like the polkadot network that easily expanding now. Defi is the future as their network is perfectly fine for cooking trending tech such as nft nowadays.
4856  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help with question on posting ANN threads on: April 25, 2021, 03:39:21 AM
When I post on an ANN thread or post a new thread it seems like it does not get put on the first page, rather the third. Is it based on a senority system where senior members posts are only allowed on the first two pages?

Thats not true mate. The post is based on the activity of your thread. If someone does commented on your topic post it goes to the top of the section with the exclusion of those that topic that are pinned. Those are special one, which is decided by the forum admin (maybe).  Even newbies can have an active thread and it's not based on the ranking which post will be on the first or second page.
4857  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any recovery for a misplaced seed phrase on: April 24, 2021, 09:33:26 AM
As for the wallet I make use of (imtoken) you can recover the 12 phrase word but you will have to input your wallet password
Yes I know this. But of course you must always know the seed phrase, even though you were able to back up it using your password. Once your phone got rekt or broken, and your only copy is on the phone then you are doom. You needed still the seed phrase for accessing the wallet if ever you want to use new device and password not gonna work anymore on that cause that is only for the device you used before.
4858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS fees on the ethereum network are slowly falling on: April 24, 2021, 09:06:09 AM
To be honest, I don't know how much gas fee I've been contributed already on the eth network when I am using uniswap and dexes. Last time Ive check is 3.39eth already have been consume for my gas fee on my wallet. Excluding other wallets I've used. Damn when I thinking of this I don't know how much money has been going only on fee that supposedly can be used for a living damn ethereum kindly step up a bit.
4859  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I stake my crypto? on: April 24, 2021, 03:10:58 AM
The problem with this type of "investment" is that your money is now in full control of a third party and can be lost in an instant. Historically the exchanges have always been the least safe place in crypto-space. They get hacked regularly, either on large scale when every user is affected or on small when individual accounts are hacked.
Can't argue with that but I'm just more confident than binance than most of the exchange out there. On a certain aspect you got a point, I should find a staking platform that is fully decentralized, but of course even decentralized approach have been some experience of exploitation. So nothings safe actually, it's just a matter of choice what to do on our asset.
4860  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I stake my crypto? on: April 24, 2021, 02:42:46 AM
Staking can only be profitable if the coin you're staking doesn't end up come crashing down in the end. Let's say, with coin X you're earning 20% more coin X annually from staking. But if ends up crashing down by 50% in a year, then you'd end up in a loss anyway. It's pretty much only worth it if the coin you're staking stays decently stable for a long-period, or if it goes up.
Thats why the good on staking are those stablecoins. I am staking sometime some stablecoin on Binance on their saving options.  5 to 6% APR is not bad and had no losses since the coin will not go down it price. I am looking actually for some higher percentage to stake my stablecoin but didn't want to try out other platform due to trust that it could be gone or what.

As far as I know Abra has 10% reward on staking too.
