I'm not saying casinos do this, i only say it's possible for them to do it.

Possible to do this on the risk of their whole reputation so probably none would want to risk it but still possible

I would really love to see this Provably Fair thing implemented very easily in a tab in the casino where we can do all the above things explained very well by the OP but I have yet to see one casino to implement this

Alot of site actually has quite simple provably fair system in place. You could change the server seed in just one click and put in your own random seed anytime you want. You can also verify your bets with just one simple click though

I think if they add this the number of players will be bigger and it can be another determining factor when choosing a casino to play.

Not really, this is no longer 2016 where everyone is so hype about provably fair and stuff. This is 2020 where there are tons of game with solid animation and stuff to pleasure you. Even Stake put in all those 3rd party game which is not provably fair  Tongue

I usually prepare my own random number generator for client seed and randomly change the seed pair as many times as possible.

I thought you always play slot from all those 3rd party provider  Tongue

In case anyone needs a solid 3rd party provably fair verifier

- Get guaranteed 20% cashback on your 1ST deposit -

Sounds like a perfect promotion until you click on the link and notice that it is 20% cashback on your net loss  Tongue . Of course I wouldnt even dream that a casino would give me free money on my deposit without doing nothing but this post kinda create some small mislead if you dont check the overall term on the website

It's called Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock and we decided to launch it on the 54th anniversary of the famous Star Trek debut.

I saw this reference on The Big Bang Theory show , It was season 2 of TBBT IIRC  Tongue . I cant believe a gambling site actually create this game , Was this actually a popular game or some sort? I thought it was only some sort of Sheldon's genius (weird) remark on the show lol  Tongue

4845  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 08, 2020, 03:50:27 PM
I can never get to claim the Roobet promo code shared on twitter as within 2 minutes it claims to have expired. How can it be possible that when 600 claims are mentioned, it gets over within minutes?

If you are even only 1 minute late, you wont be able to claim it. Once it is shared on twitter / telegram, others will share it on the chatroom as well so no wonder it will be gone under 1 minutes . Well dont sweat it if you get it then you get it , its only $0.15 though  Tongue

If you compare with the retweet, roobet almost every day got a thousand retweet.

Thousand? less than 50 unless it is a giveaway thread that require you to tag and RT your friend though  Tongue

Check it out and let me know if you disagree! Not that it matters... Cheesy Just kidding of course -

A Bitcoin withdrawal comes with a $1.74 fee and an Ethereum one with a $3.06 fee

minor error on this though, their withdrawal fees varies according to mempool (?) idk but yeah it varies depending on the network fee. At this time of writing, the btc withdrawal fee is $0.45

Thanks for the hint - I will be looking into it and make an update! Smiley

Edit: I can see $2.67 for BTC and $1.47 for ETH right now - this is quite "hefty". Wink

Thats weird, it shows $0.64 for me

I put in your address in there and Obviously I dont click withdraw fund  Tongue . Perhaps put in that the withdrawal fees varies depending on the network? That would be much better than put in specific amount though  Tongue

I like Roobet but I wish they were doing more on-site promos since (believe it or not), there are people that don't use Bitcointalk and Social Media.  Wink

Yep, they got tons of stuff in social media, telegram and bitcointalk. It seems they are targeting on building the community therefore instead of on site stuff, they actually got alot outside of their site

and regarding their VVIP program, I read it once that someone got straight $1000 balance without any restriction. That player has over $1.5M wagered amount on site  Tongue

What's up guys? Just 15 mins to go and still some regulars haven't registered. Are you guys making my way easier for the Championship? Tongue

Yeah, I am wondering what happened to  bitmutiny, SteamTyme and figmentofmyass. Its very unusual that they are missing when you look at the spreadsheet at the last tourneys.

Bitmutiny just posted in the chat he forgot to register - foma posted he might not do it this time if I remember correctly.

and SteamTyme is on the road with his family. 14 people in total and this is probably one of the lowest that we have considering that this is only the second qualifier for the 4th season

I dont see Kolloh tonight as well  Undecided

Good game everyone, I was running ultra cold for tonight but still managed to get 7th spot which is decent considering that I have less than probably 4 premium hands throughout the whole game Lips sealed . Best of luck to the winners , efialtis and seek3r is running hot tonight !
4849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: September 06, 2020, 02:53:07 PM
I think Chelsea may be the overlooked team this season. Could even see them doing better than Liverpool. I certainly think they'll be in the big three along with City.

-snip-

Champions League? Really? I'm a Leeds fan but I think just staying out of the relegation zone is going to be a massive achievement. This isn't the glory days where we grew up with them in the PL and challenging for things back in the early days. .

I just want to see another crazy season where the underdog wins the league or atleast shocked the whole league with their existence just like Premier League 2015-2016 . It kinda feels good to watch the game if you have some small bets on it, I love the suspense of watching 90 minutes for those team to win

All Leeds is is a name right now and to an entire generation they're just an an average Championship team as they've been out of the PL for 15 years

Well Leicester was out from The Premier League for 10 years before they won the league at the second year after being promoted to it. They were over 15th on the first season after promotions IIRC ( 17th ? )

Oooh, why not? What are the odds and where can I find them haha!

You are wearing their signature  Tongue . I put some small bets nothing too crazy, just for the sake of fun and not printing money though

Hopefully we are not at risk here as I have been participating in this campaign consistently,

Hold your horses, if anything it would BetBTC fault for making this on their main thread

I think it's not a giveaway or something as we are betting on the thread and we are just sharing our pick here,

Would you post your slip if there isnt any incentives for that?  Wink I barely saw anyone posting their slips on this thread before this fiasco started so yes they are giving incentives for you ( chance ) to post aka bumping their thread

Let me tell you something, I checked and there wasnt anyone that post their betslip in this thread . I checked it from August 2019 last year until 17th August 2020 where this whole fiasco of post here for X btc started

Can anyone point me to what particular forum rules do you guys think we are breaking?

Probably not rules, but more of a guideline but guideline would still needs to be followed otherwise why do we even have games and rounds section? All other site would just use the same 'promotions' as this. Post here for X btc  Tongue

To be specific, I'm referring to "Post in this thread for free x". That belongs in Games and Rounds. Though it isn't limited to that, in general you shouldn't be giving people incentives to post in your thread, it's disruptive to actual discussion.

Please tell me if this isnt post here for free X btc promotions (chance) ?

Maybe you guys are getting this wrong, I dont ask for this generous promotions to stop. I ask BetBTC to simply put this in games and round section instead of their main thread because this totally against the guidelines set by Badbear.

If BetBTC unwilling to do so then perhaps they are taking this to their advantage to bump their main thread by making this 'promotions' in their main thread instead of games and round section. Sounds about right?

how is playing online gonna help you hide your tells at the casino? Tongue
Obviously he know nothing about playing poker in casino  Tongue . Even Daniel Negreanu has terrible time to deal with online poker on ggpoker, I saw his livestream from youtube ( probably for a week already ) and he admitted that it is hard to really play online poker. Everyone seems pro at a glance and he cant really translate how he normally play into his online experience though

did you see doug polk troll negreanu into an online heads up grudge match a few weeks ago? Cheesy

https://twitter.com/RealKidPoker/status/1288602794665025536

i was really surprised to see DN accept the challenge. indeed, online is not his game at all as he himself will acknowledge, and tbh i don't think NLHE is really his game either. it almost makes me wonder if he set things up so he could explain away losing.

i rarely pay attention to the poker scene or watch live streams these days, but this is one i intend to watch. it should be pretty interesting. polk is obviously not in top form. he's recently been getting crushed at low stakes HU tables. https://www.parttimepoker.com/doug-polk-daniel-negreanu-heads-up-challenge

I dont, a week ago I dont even know who DN is  Cheesy . He just happen to livestream on youtube and for some reason it shows up on my recommendation then I watched him play. I get to know alot more in depth stuff about poker from his livestream then I researched about him and found out that he won 6 WSOP bracelets. No wonder he is that good in his livestream but he could be so much better in real poker instead of online poker

I think when playing poker it requires 99% luck and 1% skill, because it is difficult to guess the cards held by the dealer and some other players because every few rounds of cards will be replaced with new ones that have been shuffled so that it will make the calculation become chaotic and can't be used to guess correctly.

I used to think like that before I learn more in depth about poker but relying on luck alone means you need to keep getting pocket pair then shove all in . Not to mention that each time your shove might not be called and there is no guarantee you might win those shove  Tongue

The club president lied and played mind games!

I wouldnt call it as a lie. If you look at the bigger picture, there was indeed conversation of this happening. There was tons of media that posted speculation about this and Manchester City didnt deny it either. This move didnt happen was probably because they didnt get the reasonable price for Messi

Messi is a top star and Manchester City is willing to go big for him but Barcelona was probably stalling and keep trying to squeeze the last euro that they could get from Messi's Clauses

Participation is only valid in this topic.
If a mod tells the opposite we may chance or void the campaign.

However you are simply sharing with others your betslips, which is not against the rules.

Until then, we’ll stick with the original ruling, if you don’t fell comfortable do not share your print screen

So does these threads on games and rounds section for example. They ask player to simply share their 'bet id' on the thread for chance to win / for incentives but they do it on the games and rounds section instead of the main thread Smiley

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5272609.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1850855.0

Also it will totally give you no harm to put this on games and rounds section besides, you are cluttering this thread with all these prediction post .

Greetings everyone,

I just wanted to ask if the withdrawal fee from Roobet follows the current fee (sats/vbyte) based on the status of the mempool? It so happen that I just heard that someone withdraws his money with a transaction fee of around 0.018 btc  Huh

Thats kinda brutal, thats over $150  Undecided , I just checked few minutes ago and my withdrawal fees stays the same either I withdraw $10 or $200

here was the screenshot

Edit : now it goes down to $0.45

Sorry to ruin all your fun but giveaway and such dont belong in here.

@BetBTC please create another thread for all these prediction posts in Games and Rounds

Reference about the rules here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=408265.0

To be specific, I'm referring to "Post in this thread for free x". That belongs in Games and Rounds. Though it isn't limited to that, in general you shouldn't be giving people incentives to post in your thread, it's disruptive to actual discussion.
4857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: September 04, 2020, 03:55:19 PM
Ah yeah, all that talk about Leeds. It's nostalgia really, that was the youth of the Prem League, almost around the time I also first started following it, when my heroes were still young and my age, and when Leeds were stylish and punching it up in the Champions League! Leicester they were not though, and I'm happy to see opportunities like these where it's not just the megarich playing with coins and bills on the pitch;)

This could be another year for them to shine though. Obviously I have high hopes for them, I even bet on Leeds to finish up top 4 for small size of bet  Tongue Just for the sake of fun. They might not be the underdog that probably will win the Premier League but atleast they have high potential to stay on the Premier League unlike the other promoted teams . My 2 cent of thoughts Wink
4858  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: September 04, 2020, 10:55:37 AM
FOMA is way tighter than i am, he labelled me quite early on and was spot on LAG he's very TAG. If the odds are there he's calling, albeit there are probably some tight folds for better spots

Probably the tightest among all participants in this series. If he calls / check raised then there is almost 95% this dude has a good card on his hands.

Although I would have probably apologized and said i feel gross. (Very Canadian of me)

Canadians are all nice folks  Tongue

Might be... think I might be on the road with the family. Wife still doesn't know the series fired up again, so I may have to sit it out or casually look at my phone a bunch in secret without letting her see. That always ends well right?

Too bad for you but family comes first obviously  Wink . Try to pull a 'sygambler' and see if you might end up in top ten without playing  Tongue. Well still you might still be able to catch up with the points with the other 6 qualifer to go. Drive safely !

Everyone ready for Sunday's game? I am pretty sure I'll own you guys this time... Last week you got a foretaste of what's awaiting you in series #4...  Cool

Im ready again, Im so fired up last week. I knocked out alot and probably was my best KO count throughout the whole series ever since I play on this. I might pull another one this weekend  Tongue

4859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: September 03, 2020, 10:52:55 PM
I don't really see why most people on this thread are gunning for leeds for the 2020/2021 season since I don't fancy Leeds Utd much.

Ever since Leicester won the league, people always love the idea of how underdog could win the premier league . People may support the other team but believe it or not, people always love underdog that has potential to win and Leeds totally has the potential considering that they play well in the Championship

get the fact that they did well in the championship last season but the premier league is a different ball game.

It is totally different but they could adapt to it , the fact that they have been signing more players means they are serious on taking this season

They don't stand a chance against a team like Liverpool ~ Liverpool would want to send a strong message to other title contenders by winning our first game of the season.

Who in the sane mind would even compare Leeds to Liverpool? Losing a game or two against top teams like Liverpool means nothing if they could win against the other team
4860  Other / Off-topic / Re: It's time to destroy China, don't buy anything from them ,don't deal with them on: September 03, 2020, 08:10:59 PM
I am not a user of goods from China

Lol  Tongue , everyone has atleast one thing in their household that is actually made from China. Even small stuff like your toothbrush for example or those towel that you used to wipe your face

but my country is trapped with cheap goods from China and the government of my country is already trapped in debt with China so breaking cooperation with China is very difficult.

Why would your country even want to do so? If you cant beat them, then join them . Thats the right call unless your country is an absolute powerhouse like US or North Korea  Roll Eyes obviously you dont want to live like how the citizen of North Korea lives.

I dont really see how national debt would even affect your daily life unless you are the top brass that runs top notch business on your country. Japan is a debt ridden country and everyone lives just as fine or even better that most country . Not a good thing but atleast it wont ruin your life though
