Is this Rotten or bitcointalk?
If you really have to give me some roasted bears or whales!

Napoli and Juventus made the difference yesterday but it should be noticed that Verona and Torino represented no danger at all, while Roma was defetead by a second division team.

Today I would say

Lazio vs Udinese Lazio wins
Sampdoria vs AC Milan Milan wins
4843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 16, 2015, 10:13:12 AM
I didn't know what was the socalled Lega Pro before yesterday evening: Alessandria, a team from the Italian third league, defetead Genoa and gained access to the Italian Cup quarter finals! Very nice!  Smiley

Good for you man. You had the guts to invest into the most unstable and fascinating market in the world: hold on to your BTC and in case you'll ever dump tell us in advance  Grin

@roach

You made my day!  Grin
And you ruined it as well because now I'm listening to that song in a loop! Great!  Grin

interesting phase we are in now and 500$ still is the closest chimera even though it will not be reached easily. after the chinese bot has been shut down volumes are still high so either new bots are in or new real players are in. very very interesting

4847  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 BTC. Will I be a millionaire by 2030? on: December 16, 2015, 08:53:39 AM
if with just 10BTC can make you become a millionaire , what about people who own 1000BTC? i think they'll be a quillionaire  Grin

Does anyone on this forum have 1000 BTC? I wouldn't think so as I doubt that most people invest over $450,000 in Bitcoin. Personally, I would never do that.

1000 BTC were nothing back in 2010, in fact they could have been mined very easily. You're thinking in today's terms which doesn't work. That era is finished, very few people could buy 1000 BTC all at once now.

Am I must use the avatar for joining the campaign?

AFAIK you are not required to wear campaign avatar as long as you don't advertise a competitor. So you can keep your avatar.
4849  Other / Meta / Re: Just remove signatures already. As in delete, disable, gone. on: December 15, 2015, 01:54:58 PM
I would say go for the content, if that is shit then please feel free to ignore users. Yes, a lot of sig ad paid people write only to round up their gains but this forum lives out of it. Mods are paid to keep the forum clean by those who are accused of having created the "plague".
-snip-
Technically moderation isn't a job, we get rewarded for our efforts. Not showing signatures does not help due to the fact that you still see their posts. Ignoring helps, but that would mean that I'd have to ignore almost all signature campaign participants. This is definitely not an efficient solution/workaround.

No Lauda, I'm saying you disable the signature and you see what they write not that you ignore everyone!
I know for staff is different beacuse you have to read what people write, but I don't  Wink

Once more please go for the content in the post.

Let's not be so naive because we're simply denying that advertising is everywhere. But ad-block was created as well: I use it and I would suggest everyone to use it.

Regarding our forum:

Go to Profile--> Look and Layout Preferences--> Don't show users' signatures

Done! Then read what they post, if they post crap, simply ignore them!

4851  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: Bitcoin's price after the halving on: December 15, 2015, 01:11:03 PM
My vote. Much higher. The world is not ready for 12.5 btc blocks.

It's going to be interesting for sure because as you say I agree we are not ready for that yet. It might take time to adjust for it. I would really ask to big miners how they feel about having half reward for the same price. But I think I know the answer.
4852  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: December 15, 2015, 10:06:31 AM

Buying BTC now is too expensive, I got them cheap. I was mining a bit 2 years ago and then when it became unprofitable I stopped. Forget about mining if you don't have free electricity and money to invest!

Well I've got both ^.^

But the fact is I'd like to build a btc income, I'm afraid that it's hard to get such income but lot's of people said the same thing than you...
Maybe I'll find another way, but hard to invent something through bitcoin without the proper technical knowledge!

I think we all would like to have a proper BTC income  Wink but afaik is very hard to get there with a proper investment. That's the fact, BTC mining is for the big industries now. Nice old times of gpu mining are over!
4853  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: December 15, 2015, 10:02:14 AM
Why is investing in precious metals not a promising investment?

but they are  athing of the past in my view, the future is bitcoin or akin tech

You should review your thinking, things of the past... you made me laugh! No better investment as gold for long term.
It will be always accepted (unless you'll be alone on an island). You're too much enthusiastic.

If you think you're good enough to take advantages from price movement do it, no one is gonna stop you. Maybe some have bitcoin for another reason which you don't see now. Personally, together with gold, it's a perfect store of value in difficult times. That's why I don't do trading.

Of course man, and investment in btc seems rather safe. I don't see btc just disappearing, it's just too awesome ^^

But the main goal of the thread is to convince us to never sell btc, as I disagree I argue for the sell of btc, that's all  Wink
And still I find hard to just store btc, are you paid in btc by any chance? Maybe you're mining. I'm currently wondering if I should go mining a bit, I like btc a lot and it would be a btc income!

4855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: December 15, 2015, 09:13:21 AM
Many good games in Europa League fo the upcoming phase and the teams from Champions League will try to make a difference I think even though I think three teams have the best chance to play the final

Man. UTD, Napoli or Valencia
4856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 15, 2015, 09:08:27 AM
With games like this Serie A looks really boring: I won some money because this last match but my God, 90 minutes of pure tedious! Lots of teams should play in second league!
4857  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1k in january on: December 15, 2015, 08:57:32 AM
I mean it's not impossible: we only need a lot of new players into the market! My question is this: is the system right now able to hold a 1000$ price?
Of course not!!! We will be like gold, gold price is 1067$

If we do I have fireworks ready but that is not going to happen soon. We will see huge drop every 50$ dollar increase from 500$.

Am I too pessimistic? Or am I realist?
4858  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: December 15, 2015, 08:53:40 AM

Well if you look at the overall picture, then Bitcoin has only seen a steady increase in value over time, accompanied with a few bubbles, the largest one being the 2013 one, when prices went over $1000.
So in that regard, this is indeed the time, and I think it will last for a while.

That may be right. And I understand the fact that you hold your btc. What I don't understand is all those people with a clueless belief that btc will only rise and nothing can happen as it's just the true graal of economy whereas the fiat money is just shit.

And even if btc is on the rise, I think there is more money to do by buying/selling it at each bubble than just holding the btc ^^

If someone spent millions of dollars putting up walls on 3 exchanges, that is a very expensive trap to set. Those walls are real. Price jumped last night, and people want to take profit.

Or the whales could intend to buy their own coins to get the price up and get the fomo rolling.

They have lots of coins to dump at an even greater profit.
I opened a short at 446, and I am glad I did.
Closed the short at 443. If it dips lower, I will start leveraging long again.
Don't you guys wish you were as cool as me?

Too many John Wayne around, proof or it didn't happen.
4860  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1k in january on: December 14, 2015, 08:46:00 PM
bitcoin is going to $1k in january and $2k 1 minute after block halving.  be prepared... be very prepared

I like your view, I really do but... it's a long way up there: I don't want to kill your lovely enthusiasm but please come down to earth. But enjoy the run while you can.
