4841  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to the banks if people uses cryptocurrencies more than fiat? on: February 15, 2018, 05:44:36 PM
To be fair it's the most logical question which I have read here recently.
Very hard to answer because will that ever happen? Credit cards will be in use in future, there is no doubt but it will be like xapo, bitpay and etc. I think banks won't make it to happen, they prefer fiat because it's not risky for them. I think they will make credit/debit cards for crypto customers and this service will be offered by most banks.
Since bitcoin's value is determined in fiat, I have no idea why will people use crypto more than fiat.
4842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is this an Asics ETH Miners ?? on: February 15, 2018, 03:29:52 PM
It would be such an amazing fact and maybe the end of GPU mining. Don't know if that's asic or not but asic will make everything from good to worse for ethereum. Amazing fact would be that bitmain has possibility to change rules in any crypto, just see how the destroyed siacoin mining and give them a good lesson. Now eth, what is next?
Quote
No, its not - The MACs match the Biostar mining motherboards, even then the hashrate per device is low, not even more than 4 GPUs per machine, so there's really nothing to worry about here, just a big miner, there's tons of them out there.

There's bigger miners than that on ethermine.
You just made me calm

Over all the years in business Bitmain has made an ASIC miner for a total of 4 algos, and now you think they are going to change the rules of all crypto?!  riiiiiiiighttt
What I mean is that they destroy mining. See how powerful machines they make, see their miner for siacoin. Now asic on ether?
But I wonder why do they sell their equipments? For example Bitfury doesn't sells but Bitmain sells. Why? While they can leave it for them and become much stronger.
4843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: February 15, 2018, 02:43:59 PM
Yes, that is the best thing about bitcoin they have care in the whole entire humanity; from the jobs that they provide in the people they can lessen the poverty rate of all countries which is the biggest problem that they face. There will be jobs open for everybody no matter who you are in the society.
What job does bitcoin provides? Sorry but can't understand..
Also I write this for all who thinks that bitcoin can end poverty. Once I thought the same and opened thread about that where I had some real arguments, think releasing of them would be craziest thing from goverment of poor countries, no one would risk that.
World poverty won't end and there are a lot of reasons. For example food, there isn't enough food to feed all well, GMO is bad for health, if it will be modified well to not affect health, then this will be big step. After that we can think about it. But to be fair it's aim of worlds famous humans to be world in poverty. Just imagine why the hell one man has billions? Those billions would help millions of people.
What bitcoin does is that money is under our control but for poor people it's simply impossible to "save" money, so bitcoin is still for people who has more than normal income.

4845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Western Union is testing Ripple for money transfers! on: February 14, 2018, 11:19:11 PM
The fact of supporting Ripple by banking systems doesn't make it more centralized ?
And who said that this coin is decentralyzed? The most centralyzed and known coin is ripple and I think we all know it and if we say oppositely, seems we try to lie ourself.
Why did they decide to add crypto on payments? And why did they choose ripple over bitcoin, ethereum and etc? What did they see something unique which wasn't in them?
4846  Other / Meta / Re: Lauda removed from DT network via 3 exclusions on: February 14, 2018, 10:48:18 PM
I amn't going to read all those silly posts....
But what I want to say is that this man tagged a lot of people for reasons, hope someone will "copy" lauda's sent trusts.
Btw why is QuickSeller so happy? I understand you may hate someone but is that hate so much? This man is like a hungry hunter. Nothing personal against you QS but situation between Lauda and you is somehow curious.
QS become the Mr Valentin for Lauda today Cheesy
Well, Lauda deserves DT for hunting on spammers. At least if anyone remembers bad from this person, don't forget his good actions too.
4847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is 1ETH=$10,000 worth the possibility? on: February 14, 2018, 10:06:03 PM
Call me crazy but what I think is that if bitmain will get interested more seriously in this coin, it will even become high in price than bitcoin. From what I see, bitmain plays important role in crypto world, their miners are the most popular and they are main source of supplies + have a great resources.
Of course this coin will become 10K, if bitcoin did then it's improved version will do too.
4848  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is viabtc transaction accelerator really working? on: February 14, 2018, 04:48:29 PM
Hello guys, happy VD.....
What I want to ask now is that since bitcoin tx fees are really low, is viabtc tx accelerator still spammed? I am a little bit lazy to check it (don't have a time to watch XX:00). If anyone tried it today or these days, will I be able to accelerate transactions without being ultrafast in milliseconds? In past it was even imppossible.
4849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin price so stable in 2018? on: February 13, 2018, 11:59:10 PM
Can't say exactly why price is stable this year but I'll talk about one task which was mentioned here: if bitcoin reaches $30-50k then it will be very difficult for newcomers to buy bitcoin for buying altcoins in the exchanges.
I can say that one main reason will be fees which will not give possibility bitcoin to reach 30-50k. If I have to send 100$, why will I pay 20$ in it? So not only newcomers but no one will use it for sending/receiving. It will only become coin for investing but if people won't use it for transactions, coin will die slowly.
4850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple founder has sold all his Bitcoin on: February 13, 2018, 10:01:50 PM
Apple's co-founder Steve Wozniak confirms he has sold all his Bitcoin.

See the full part here: https://www.investopedia.com/news/steve-wozniak-has-sold-his-bitcoin/

As I have said several times, all the whales are getting out. They know the party is over.

Hmm, did you read that news carefully?
Quote
he dumped the cryptocurrency because he did not want to worry about its erratic price movements.
So this doesn't means that party is over and he sold all bitcoins because it has no chance to rise. This man clearly says that he wants quiet life and don't wants to worry everyday because of bitcoin's price and I truly believe what he said. Bitcoin really caused insomnia for me but now I am no longer worring about it, can sleep well.
No one knows actually what will happen around bitcoin's price....
4851  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ DuckDice.io 🎲 Faucet 🎲 Rainbot 🎲 Jackpot 🎲 Wagering Contest 🎲 1%Edge 🎲 on: February 13, 2018, 01:52:21 PM
Hello DuckDicer's, community,

here are some changes that have been done to DuckDice today:

removed all empty rooms and added special Game room for Bounty, Races, Quizzes and all the other games. It is free to use for everyone who wants to start a public game. We have plans to enhance this room with game-related nice features in the future.

Although most of our dear Members are honest gamers we always stumble upon some Faucet hunting botnet, so we had two options here: reducing Faucet amount and dividing Faucet amount between all user Clones (most of you know that we have а very good algorithm for detecting multiple accounts) so far we've chosen the second option. So now if you have more than one account, the amount of Faucet will be automatically split between them.

Oh, what a great idea. Usually account farming is to grow your chance of winning in promotion/competition and etc but to be fair 90% of people use it for faucet farming. I think this will prevent this problem at it's max.
Will be glad if you write the results in one month, I mean to sum up how effective that action was.
4852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will someday be worth as much as 40 times its current on: February 12, 2018, 11:36:39 PM
Winklevoss twins: Bitcoin will someday be worth as much as 40 times its current
They believe that bitcoin is more valuable than gold. Hopefully more people will see the value of Bitcoin brings. This is also good news to help the virtual currency market recover quickly, overcome the storm cryptocurrency .
I have no idea why do these people compare bitcoin to gold. It's like to compare PC game cossacks to real imperia of rome. Do you really understand or analyze what you compare to what?
Since subject is more important here, I would say that anything needs a logical reason. I can say that bitcoin will fall to 1$. Let's open threads about my word ok? That's not correct. I will say: Bitcoin will never be x40 of current price. Why? Because it's block size + not so much customer. The more demand (number of bitcoins is limited) - the higher the price - it's rule of economics.
4853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lawyers accepting Crypto. on: February 12, 2018, 10:35:46 PM
Need a lawyer? Pay in crypto. You’ll have to pay taxes on that though. :Sarcasm:

https://www.yahoo.com/tech/report-more-startup-lawyers-accepting-172736790.html
There is no deficit of fiat to pay lawer a real money + it will make more doubts I think. Why crypto? Just tell me, why to pay with crypto when you can simply meet that lawyer and give real money.
Well pay with monero or with bitcoin and use mixer or laund money - this will help you a lot... Sarcasm... Don't do that.
You will have to pay taxes in any way, crypto isn't magical thing or tax free currency.
It will be better if those lawyers learn something about crypto and help people who hires them.
4854  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining - my experience on: February 12, 2018, 09:29:42 PM
Anyone in the same boat ? I decided to go with Genesis Mining last year mid August. 30 TH. Up until now I haven't reached the break even point. And my payouts dropped dramatically after diffculty increased a lot this year. I estimate that it will take at least 1-2 more month till I reach the break even. But I just asked myself how much btc I will get out of this contract then till difficulty is so high that Genesis will cancel the contract. Any idea how to calculate this?

Yep. When difficulty goes up and prices go down, that's when genesis mining contracts just stop paying out.

Usually, in the first 1-2 months you'll receive ok-ish payouts. If those sort of payouts continue then you think that you could get a ROI and then go into profits within 6-7 months. But then after a few months the payouts will drop to almost nothing.

At the end, you could be looking at a terminated cloud mining contract because your payouts can't even be used to pay maintenance fees anymore. This is why we here tend to shy away from cloud mining and advise others to do so as well.
Great answer, yeah, that's how genesis works and it's already proven scam here, just see some old threads.
For cloud mining I would choose one which has option of selling hashrates, for example hashnest and viabtc. At least you will get your money back when you sell hashrate (price of hashrate changes, depends on coin's price + difficulty, if you are lucky you can sell them highly).
4855  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine that economy that we know it today is not needed.... on: February 12, 2018, 05:01:43 PM
Imagine that economy that we know it today is not needed anymore, personal profit stimuli is just a page of a history and social and political  life is just different from it's today version.

How then needs of people are solved, and on what would you spend your time and energy in that case? Did you see the crypto there, and if yes in what role?)

P.S. I know the Ideas of Karl Marks about post-komunism and not a fan of it)
Oh, why is thread so unpopular? Hmm..
Seems you know Karl Marks but don't you know Adam Smith? If not then that's strange but if you know don't you like his ideas? I think current economy is build on his ideas or call it what you want.
I think current economy model is great but it needs some changes: There must be limit on profit. For example any pure business profit higher than 100K monthly must go on world's budget. To help poor people but not directly, the main idea in this world is knowledge, they must learn. Best investment in this world is knowledge, that must be considred to build better economy.
A little bit far from topic but hope everyone read it carefully and underdtand what I mean.
4856  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁3 NEW COINS★★★22nd BILLION BETS PROMO★★★🎁 on: February 09, 2018, 11:28:54 PM
You are the first who says bitsler requested them identify and pictures of id (at least I have never heared similar request from bitsler). Congrats that your issue is solved.
Hope admin of yolodice or bitsler will come here and confirm this fact too.
Man ar you new on bitsler too? Just ask.

Hi,

I can confirm this indeed happened, at least AFAIK. I accepted the "reversed" transaction and credited it back to MoneroWorld. I have no idea why admins at Bitstler did this, but every site has their own policies. I just think it would be better if users were informed about any KYC-like policy before they deposit.

This story shows how important it is to not transfer coins directly between sites, but use your own wallet. Better safe than sorry :-) But I am glad we were able to fix it this time!

Cheers!
Ethan (admin of YOLOdice)
wow thats really bad for bitsler , why would they care where the btc came from? This is why i never play at bitsler, and every time i deposit there i have to wait til admin wakes up and process it ! I stopped playing at bitsler long time  ago (6 months) and good thing there are real time heroes like Ethan_nx who was willing to help out this guy! Good job Yolodice!! Keep it up!
Oh please don't make ethan a new marvel superhero. Yes, he did a great job for that user but also at the same time Baryom explained the reason of all these. Player just deposited, made single bet and withdrew to another adress. If you were a owner of website, wouldn't you doubt? Btw was anyone scammed? Bitsler was ok to return btc to the adress from where bitcoins were deposited.
I think this task needs full stop, everything is solved and clear.
4857  Other / Meta / Re: Why changing the email and the password is so easy !!!! on: February 08, 2018, 11:29:20 PM
There was discussion about it in the past but seems theymos didn't take care of it.
All you need currently to keep your account secure is very good password. There was a fact of hacking famous members too. I remember how condoras sent btc to one member (can't remember username) and lost it because account was hacked and real owner lose control on it. Condoras trusted blindly and didn't ask for signing a message. (I talk about loans)
Btw real way here is signing a message from your bitcoin adress which must be actively used here and then you need a lot of wait to get response on your pm from moderator, usually from Cyrus. There is another way to prove ownership if you can't sign a message but that will take a lot of time and won't worth for it (messages and etc for example).
4858  Economy / Goods / Re: what escrow service do people use? on: February 08, 2018, 11:03:51 PM
how do people sell goods on here? how do they be sure they dont get ripped off? do they use an escrow service? if so, which one?
Hello
Of course we use escrow here. For example you are new and you are selling something that I want but I can't trust you. What to do? I want to have a deal so prefer to use escrow, middleman. That person must be trusted for us. Here are some very good people who can offer escrow. Personally I suggest you minerjones, I had many deals with this person and he was always amazing, never had any problem + was always pleased when had deals with him. Also communicative guy sometimes Cheesy (usually don't has free time).
But if you want, you can have a look on this thread too where there is a list of trusted escrowers:

4859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: a word for all worried people.... on: February 08, 2018, 10:33:03 PM
late in 2011, i made my first BTC transaction on October 30 of that year.
I remember the first few times Bitcoin and alts making huge moves up and down, and
I, unfortunately, let the market's volatility decide my moves for me. I'd be a millionaire
many times over now if I had just held on and had the courage of my convictions.

It can be difficult, loved ones and media declaring crypto deceased every other month,
but don't let it get to you. We are strong, we are capable. We will last. It's easy to say
"ignore the volatility", but I understand wanting to watch your investment and see how it does. But this is long-term, just remember that.
don't worry just hold your coins, don't sell and wait for it.
I would say we have to look around too. Don't look something that this will happen must! Just think why will it happen? In this situation I mean bitcoin's price. Why will it rise? The result of high price was low confirm time, high fees, stop people's registration on exchangers and regulations from goverment.
Btw what I can say proudly is that it will, always will be able to achieve the highest price it had in past. But don't have hope of ultra high price like some people post here: 50K and more.
4860  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: yobit not scam on: February 08, 2018, 10:06:13 PM
Guys what about those people who were really scammed by yobit? Do you say everything from only your experience? Forget yobit, something that works on you, maybe won't work on me and oppositely. So if you aren't scammed luckily, congrats.
Here is their profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=406594
See references, no one is tagged here frim DT's without reason.
If you wish use yobit, I don't say anything against them but if you ever get scammed, then don't take your words back.
