4841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did Satoshi Advertise Bitcoin ?? on: June 05, 2017, 06:35:19 AM
Aside from the ideas suggested above, I read somewhere that Satoshi Nakamoto also introduce Bitcoin and its technicalities to a certain mailing list though I am sure if he own that list or somebody else's. I am also sure that he has a closed group at that time and Bitcoin was also explained to them before it caught fire in the outside world. Of course, all of these things can be speculations.
Whoever is on that list and decided to bite and take the risk of using and investing Bitcoin is super rich right now. Imagine one of the lucky persons who was emailed by Satoshi who introduce to you first about Bitcoin, I know it will be sketchy at first like something of a spam contains but if someone believe in it they actually experienced the first ICO of any cryptocurrency. And I couldn't imagine how a simple mailing list started to grow in what it is now. Truly a success story.
4842  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: June 04, 2017, 02:40:35 PM
You have answered the question of yourself just by saying about the increase of volumes exponentially which means Bitcoin as of right now has more demand compared to any other cryptocurrency. With that being said and to keep my answer short the main reason why Bitcoin is more powerful than others is because of the demand it has in which many people are using it for trading and transacting, in which the cryptocurrency world is aware of.
4843  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: June 04, 2017, 01:44:18 PM
I don't think so. In my perspective in order to be right about this your employer must be paying you as an employee with Bitcoins, which I am not seeing as of yet for big corporations. Also we need to rule out the payments being received as compensation for freelancers (signature campaigns are included) as we cannot call this employed people as they much closely relates to being self-employed who only works in front of a computer screen.

Wow its already 5 days since the winner of the 10 Billionth Bet and as of right now Bitsler is on the 10,217,315,000+ bets at this rate we could be seeing the 11 Billionth bet before the month of June ends. It seems like things are moving fast with the site after the promotion because and the number and speed of the bets shows it. It means that the promotions and the site itself are improving throughout the days. More success to come for Bitsler and its management.
4845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use Social Media for Bitcoin on: June 04, 2017, 11:23:58 AM
I don't think that social media marketing will be any of help for Bitcoin because Bitcoin is a currency in which is use for transactions and exchanges, how will a social media ad help Bitcoin in any way in the first place? For me Bitcoin is not some kind of product in which we need to advertise to spread awareness but what we need is the actual use of the currency to make people aware more about it.
its also possible to use social media to promote of businesses to accept btc in that way social media can make a big influence helping bitcoin to reach those people who will be able to gather attention and businesses that can make it possible to make bitcoin more popular and useful worldwide.
Yes it can help but you are missing one big hole in your statement when you are promoting something you are focused on the product itself not the payment methods you can. That is one of the major problems in marketing these days as they always post and post in the social media without even thinking about the product first. With this kinds of advertisements consumers will fail to identify what your product is about because you are concentrated in promoting other things as well.
4846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: June 03, 2017, 06:43:43 PM
Bitcoin is very strong enough so stable even if some holders they want it to drop the price but they can't do anything because many holders and investor in bitcoin are they don't like that bitcoin drop the price.

I agree your advice because bitcoin is very strong Although some dont like bitcoin prices  Wink
In other words they are playing the price of Bitcoin. Big players often are the first people who sell there position in order to gain profit shortly after the price has fallen this big players will start to buy and buy at a cheaper price, quite smart actually because it can be a never ending cycle, after that another trend will start or will continue at least. Right now this 2017 we can see a repetitive action when Bitcoin rises quickly it will be followed by a price drop, it never fails to do the same rhythm.
4847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: June 03, 2017, 04:52:24 PM
Of course bitcoin can be a source of income, but for the moment I think we should not focus too much on bitcoin, in the sense that if we still have a job in the real world then make bitcoin as your additional income. But the choice is in each self.
You have your point too.We create our own lives. It's up to us which will be given more time. But if you think you're gaining more amount of salary from bitcoin, then focus on bitcoin but not to the extent of quitting your other job.We should know how to utilize our time if we aim for more higher earning.

This is what I am experiencing with my family, in the confusion, whether to resign from work, or to survive while working, but that is not a focus on bitcoin

I also have to agree on your part what i see in Bitcoin right now is that it is still good as some kind of side/additional income. From what I am seeing it is better to have a real job together with how you earn Bitcoin online. Because there is still no point of losing you real job over choosing to earn Bitcoin mainly. Right now all I can see is that having to keep your job while earning Bitcoin is the wisest choice as your earning capacity will be doubled or at least added because of Bitcoin.
4848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: June 03, 2017, 10:33:49 AM
Many of these things cannot be dammed by education and parents. But there is a point where teenagers do not always have a lot of money, so when they lose and no more money, they will stop and regret their actions. This happens to 80% of teenage gamblers who feel no gambling talent. I myself have gambled since age 17.

Nowadays they are taking loans from the friends for gambling, I do agree but it is involved in choosing the friendship because due to his friends his character might change and face many difficulties in solving those issues.
Some of them do not even stop gambling without money, because it is like losing to nothing. This is one of the points when you know you are addicted to gambling because it takes a lot of guts for a man without money to bet. In other cases gamblers who don't have money will always find a way to bet and bet more from selling their assets to even giving their title of the land. I myself experience betting when I was still a teenager and good thing it made me realize that I am losing more money then earning something.
4849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500 on: June 03, 2017, 09:15:48 AM
Well you have the full authority of losing your money now or gaining something later. It is a common mistake by newbies just like you in which your hands are trigger happy on buying something when it is on an up trend. Anything that soars high for a brief moment will have a devastating fall, that is tried and tested. Right now you have bought Bitcoin without a margin of safety and you are experiencing the negative result of it, what you can do now or hope that will happen is your gain will cover up all your paper losses. Just sit tight and relax.

I just want to say "Kudos" to the support team of Bitsler that helped me with my withdrawal issue few hours ago. They replied to my concern on timely manner and they resolved it ASAP. On top of that, they added some bonus coins to my balance to cover the inconvenience that I encountered with them. Their support team is on a different level and deserves some recognition. Thanks again "Gabriel" for your help!  Grin
Baryom is genuinely a gem to the community. I have once talked with him on skype too ( William Bitsler ) and honestly guys he is having a very straightforward stance and a open guy who loves to make the sites better and better.
I would like to suggest baryom a request if they don't mind doing it, can you add a PvP game ? please.
Agree on what you feel about Baryom as my views for him are the same as yours one of the most generous and understanding site Admins out there. Also a PVP betting game would be nice addition to the site if implemented. The addition of such game can give users a chance to claim bragging rights on being the best in the game. Experience a PVP game a long time ago and it  made me a lot of Bitcoins in return.
4851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: June 02, 2017, 07:41:59 PM
yes its money because basically, the function is same like a real money. bitcoin is digital money, you're cant see it but you're can use it. you're can buy anything want. they are both the same, the same function for trading.

In a way, yes, but it is not "Money" of "Fiat" at all. We are only thinking that it is a money because we could earn fiat through bitcoin by converting it to cash, but it is a virtual money, the money that we do use online, to buy stuffs, something like that. But yes, they are just the same---money but into different world. The only thing about bitcoin is you could earn a lot money from it than earning fiat.
They are both counted as money in just one world, I don't know where you are getting your statements but I have a different view on this kind of matter. The second thing I like to point out is it is counted as money not only because we can earn it online but also we can use it directly as a payment option for both online and in-store transactions. Proving that Bitcoin itself without being converted to Fiat currency has the same functions as a paper money.
4852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: June 02, 2017, 06:47:07 PM
In what situation would bitcoin die ? Its million dollar question. When globally all government band bitcoin then bitcoin will die. When all people don't use it then bitcoin will die.when another popular cryptocurrency coming.
because the big user bitcoin is from China and Russia, I don't think it needs to be globally, but large countries such as the USA, Russia and China if banned then bitcoin immediately die.

China has already tried something to that tune

The Chinese central bank tried that even twice. The first time it had some impact on Bitcoin price (Bitcoin flash crashed to around 750 dollars per coin), the second time no one was giving a fuck any more about China (that's likely why we didn't see the next installment), and Bitcoin after that grew only stronger. Russian ban will be utterly inconsequential, that's why the Russian government had been only pouring threats and curses but didn't do anything toward actually banning Bitcoin. Regarding the US, come and take it, as some dude said here
I don't think so even if Bitcoin is banned in those countries it won't stop Bitcoin users from that country to use Bitcoin. Want proof? Look at the alexa ranking of top faucet sites and you will see those countries are on the list of the most users in that faucet site. Banning without any other ways of implementing the law is a useless way because people still finds a way to do what they want. Even if it is, the effect on the market will just have a correction and new players might enter from a different country.
4853  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: June 01, 2017, 05:06:44 PM
It is now the best thing to use investing is bitcoin, because it has a very high value is really big.
I think that high value is not the main factor for bitcoin to become a good investment, which is the ways to help us earn money from bitcoin, and especially bitcoin still not be managed by the state in many countries.
I agree with JimmieA, some might even translate High Value into an unfavorable condition. You know why? People might get discourage because the price of Bitcoin is too high they might think that it won't grow anymore what I mean about that is  what they are looking for is the growth in it that is still possible, generally Investors are bargain hunters in which they are looking for the bang for their buck. Bitcoin as of right now is priced to high to attract possible new investors.

It appears that Bitsler's website is having some problems right now? I just wanted to check if the support team is aware of this issue. I can't connect to their site as of this writing.
Can you explain what problem have you been encounter after accessing bitsler or it is just in your internet connections problem. Because i've just playing it now in bitsler and never encounter any such probems try to refresh again restart your internet connections....
It works fine with me and I was able to access the site very fast, it could be because of your internet connection mate.
Actually as of this writing as well I am playing dice now and I notice I am lucky today, lol...
Anyway, just solve your internet connection, nothings wrong with the site.
I couldn't confirm nor deny on what you are experiencing since as of 3:07 PM Forum Time Bitsler is up and running. Although I have experienced a similar case on what you are having, if you are stuck in a loading screen maybe clearing up the cache and cookies will help you solve the problem another way is to open up Bitsler in another web browser. If Both did not work maybe your internet connection might be the real problem because sometimes its lagging when you have slow internet.
4855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: June 01, 2017, 02:15:39 PM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
There are many ways that bitcoin would die, for example : what if nobody uses bitcoin anymore because it is becoming worthless, what if because of world war 3 there are no more internet connections because of the war and what if the government wants to ban bitcoin and wants to shutdown it.
I don't think that your statement is right on the part of "what if nobody uses bitcoin anymore because it is becoming worthless" because to tell you the obvious we are the basis of Bitcoin's price. And what I mean about that we are the ones who are creating Bitcoin's demand as we are the ones who dictate the price of it. Also your other scenarios are too much farfetch as I can't imagine it happening as of the moment, world war 3 is something serious that no country could even think about starting it yet.
4856  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: June 01, 2017, 01:32:47 PM
The funny thing about your statement is you have valued Bitcoin at 10,000$ which is in fiat currency, it is like saying Bitcoin is also worthless because Fiat Currency is worthless. But of course the answer to your question is no because everything always change in value but it does not mean something is less valuable because of it. Everything has an inner value with them that does not need to be based by something, for example a corporation has more expensive shares compared to another corporation it doesn't mean the latter it worthless.
4857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: May 31, 2017, 11:14:05 PM
I don't think that Bitcoin can make bank disappear at all. Because right now there are a lot of Banks that are already trusted and also usable to those who have their own company. Because Banks can also do other things than just saving money.
i agree with you that bitcoin will never disappear the bank because we now that bank play very important role in their country and we know that bank controlling the fiat money and if everyone adopt the bitcoin and any local shop accept the bitcoin then i hope bitcoin will down the bank.

Banks will not disappear because of intervention from the government that requires the authorization of financial institutions currently controlled by fiat. Bitcoin is a cutting-edge technology for future projects, if we discuss this for now it will not be suitable, but in the future bitcoin will take the world's financial influence and inevitably banks have to adapt this technology.
And I think that they can also co-exist with one another, remember that this is not some kind of competition and they are actually good with one another, How? Some Bitcoin Wallet Apps have the option to convert your Bitcoin to Fiat straight into your Bank Account which is a convenient way for both. Also we all know that without Fiat, Bitcoin will not be existing right now. Banks are backed up by our government and I don't think they would let something like this happen.
4858  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: May 31, 2017, 03:34:51 PM
Since the price of Bitcoin is fluctuating to often frequently in class I open up my Bitcoin Wallet in order to check the current exchange rate of Bitcoin to US dollar which my seatmates notice and ask if it is Bitcoin. And I said yes, and if I found out that they are interested are try to explain it as simple as it can get. Well that is my simple way of not only showing my Bitcoins but also sharing my knowledge about Bitcoin.
4859  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: May 31, 2017, 02:44:57 PM
Let me clarify things up are you expecting to have 21,000,000$ out of your 21 BTC or are you expecting to have 48,000$ each to create a million dollars out of it? Either way it still a long shot. You know why? 10 years is still a pretty long way to go and predicting it right now will make it more inaccurate. Im not saying Bitcoin has not future but what I am trying to say is that Bitcoin's future is unpredictable.
4860  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: May 31, 2017, 10:49:37 AM
By campaigning massively bitcoin through mass media, local media, newspapers, with the help of banners, posters, etc., I think that way we can encourage local businesses to accept bitcoin and maybe local businesses will grow if more people receive bitcoin as a means of payment.
I don't think that is necessary for Bitcoin in order to be accepted by Local Businesses. And don't you think that it is inappropriate for us to be advertising Bitcoin at mass media? The only way we can make Bitcoin more known is good news in which they will give it an article for us to read. Also the demand of Bitcoin is what we only need for Local Businesses to accept Bitcoin. A massive increase in demand might change the perspective of these businesses about Bitcoin.
