Atlanta Hawks vs Golden State Warriors - meron pang ibubuga ang GSW, dehado sila sa ML 2.24 or handicap +3.5 1.85 so pwede na patulan.

4842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elizabeth Warren hatred for crypto is like no other on: March 24, 2022, 08:52:33 PM
She is not the first that started FUDing crypto, some persons are under influence by powerful forces to trash Crypto but crypto always move past them quickly. Secretly they may be holding cryptocurrencies. Russians have been sanctioned enough and that is enough to bring their economy down.

I wouldn't call it FUD though, maybe she is just voicing her own opinion, maybe she is one powerful Senator in the US and has hatred on crypto or even Russia. But her bill will have to passed first, and she knows it is going to be difficult for her.

And it's not just crypto that she is targeting, even oil companies that is making or taking advantage of the war situation by increasing their prices are under her radar. But then again, as I have said, bitcoin and the rest of crypto is too big to fall right now and not even a US Senator can stop it.
4843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 24, 2022, 08:18:03 PM
NBA games are really unpredictable. There are underdog teams who beat the Favorites unexpectedly. I'm sure lots of bettors lose their bet last night because of the anticipation that Favorites will perform. It's good to see handicapped teams beating a healthy lineup.

Now studying the next set of games and some are worth trying.

Chicago Bulls and Phoenix Suns are considered handicapped next game against their respective opponents. Might put a bet on one of this team.

Or it could be a trap?

Phoenix Suns just won their game, a come from behind victory over the Wolves, it was very physical and intense specially before the end of the 2nd quarter and they mostly trailed in the game. Now, they are the underdogs against the Nuggets in another road game. So yeah, why not? it's better to put on them.
4844  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitDice.me - Not trusted on: March 24, 2022, 07:49:18 PM
What's with the voting in this thread?.

I also didn't understand anything about this vote because OP just put:

1 - itDice.me
2 - Not trusted

he should have put it like this:

1 - Trusted
2 - Not trusted

that would make more sense.

Sharing or exposing a gambling site that it's not to be trusted is enough. After all, doing that alone is already a huge help for gamblers to stay away from that site at all cost to avoid wasting their money for nothing.

true, but it wouldn't be a problem if he had put the vote like I did

Or do you really need to have a poll on this one?

I think it's enough that Bitdice has been exposed, if I'm not mistaken this is not the first time that a customer or at least an affiliate has some issues with them. They used to have a good reputation from this community, but in the last couple of months, it seems that they have an issue that they need to sort out.

Anyhow, thanks for giving us the warning.
4845  Economy / Speculation / Re: How these events will affect crypto market? on: March 24, 2022, 07:18:46 PM
And exactly after 2 weeks upon posting this thread, it seems that the market has turn into green, and now we just broke $44k. This is a great achievement amidst the negative thing that is happening around in Europe.

But we can't conclude in the events that the OP listed has something to do with the spike, maybe investors are just casting their money on the market because bitcoin and crypto are the best assets right now in this kind of very unstable situation. But we will see, everything looks positive, $45k will be the next target.
4846  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: March 24, 2022, 11:18:08 AM

Bucks vs Wizards - Bucks -11.5
Bulls vs NOP - Bulls -1.5
Suns vs Nuggets - Suns dehado pa sila dito, ML or +3.5

4847  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: March 22, 2022, 10:51:39 PM

4848  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC over 50k? on: March 22, 2022, 03:39:49 AM
but everything can change if big institutions are willing to give encouragement and keep prices from going down at all, with their intervention not to release their deposits into the market, which will actually make prices go down, but instead buy and hold them longer so that prices can be controlled and the possibility to increase could happen.

I don't think that institutional money is the problem though, they have deep pockets so for sure they can buy whatever they want. And I suspect that majority of them is still inside and buying at this dip. I think the problem is the retail investors, like the majority of us here, perhaps some of them are reluctant to invest because of what's going on around the world that reflects on the market downtrend.
It looks like institutional investors have moved big volumes from CEX. Maybe that have created some discussion, but this didn't make big downturn in the market. As said the retail investors participation have decreased for now due to the ongoing war between Ukraine-Russia. By the time usage on the other end have risen drastically with the legalizing of bitcoin by Ukraine and Russian government. This keeps the market stable against the ongoing market imbalance. This gives the sign of forward move.

Yeah, we might take this as a positive indication that there is a chance for another break out run, but it's going to be long and hard per month increased. There will be no sudden spike in my opinion, but it could work in a slow phase. This could be advantageous to us though, specially those who love to buy it through whatever method, DCA's, every month, every dip etc. The war will definitely have an impact, but it won't be that significant in the long run. What's important is that the whales and the retail investors are going to stay no matter what the circumstances and looking for long term.
4849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash Could Become Legal Tender on: March 22, 2022, 02:35:57 AM
You forgot to include this:

Quote
Brison thanked Roger Ver, the most prominent Bitcoin Cash advocate, for helping to turn St. Maarten into the cryptocurrency capital of the Caribbean region.

So obviously, it was Ver who help him make BCH supposedly a legal tender for them. So he has all the intentions behind to move forward. For us it's seems to be a dumb move by the government itself. But it they have been "brain wash" by Roger Ver then it's a pity for them.
4850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all of the die-hard crypto airdrop hunters who can hardly relate…. on: March 21, 2022, 08:32:08 PM
Good advise but I don't think that bounty hunters or at least those who love to participate in bounty programs have learned their lessons very well.

They will still fall for the same trap and then later bitch around shouting that this and that projects have scam them because they didn't received the airdrop and then KYC was required. So there is a huge risk in the beginning for joining this bounty and I would say a waste of time as well on your part so it's better to look for other means to earn crypto in a hard way.
4851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: March 21, 2022, 07:33:06 PM

Garcia said the pivotal incident was when he walked into Alvarez’s gym last year and found himself unable to continue with his workout after 20 minutes. He recalls breaking down in tears and having to leave. Alvarez was there, a witness to the whole event,

https://www.boxingscene.com/ryan-garcia-on-canelo-questioning-his-discipline-you-just-shtting-on-me-what-point--164910

And the way I understand it, Garcia felt betrayed by Alvarez comments about his work ethics and others and this is the main reason for me why he leave the Reynoso camp.

Garcia is very sensitive he just want Ryan to improve that's a problem when everything that's been said about you, you will take it seriously you should be open to criticism, champions can take criticism and go above it, the biggest question has been, is Ryan Garcia ready for the big things, can he take the challenge we can only conclude if he has fought a top caliber fighter and won a title, but right now he is a fighter in struggle for a place in boxing.

I think that's the most cases for those kid who were born rich, they're mostly sensitive because they've been spoiled since they born and maybe Ryan is one of them, that's why he's reacting like he was betrayed by Canelo and maybe that's the also reason why he revolt and find another one to train him.

Yes, he should definitely learn to be open to some criticisms and be used about the noise surrounding him because that's quite normal while you're moving up in the boxing industry.

For me this statement from Garcia just proved what I have been suspecting after his moved to Goosen, something happen behind close door, then Canelo opening up to the public about Ryan. And I also believed that there is some politics behind it as well, (him being a Golden Boy, and it was an ugly break up between Canelo and Oscar).

Anyhow, the ball is on Ryan Garcia now, he should showed that he is back on track with his boxing career because he still has a bright future ahead of him. Forget about the drama and focus on the fight.
4852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 21, 2022, 11:15:59 AM

Even though the Lakers are playing like this right now, lets not forget that they still have Davis that can play maybe in the playoffs ............
I will stop you there. My worry now is what if they cannot make it to the playoffs?

For sure with their ranking, they might be in the play-in tournament, but what if they'll fall again?
I mean, if they want to be in the playoffs, maybe they should start winning now consistently.

Chances are high that they could be in the play-in again this year, but we don't know if they can get and pass through. It seems that the Lakers are really demoralized at this point, very inconsistent even Lebron is.

A lot of what if, hopefully we will see how Davis can perform if he goes back, but it seems a lot cause already for the Lakers.
4853  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Crash in The Next 2 Weeks? on: March 21, 2022, 10:39:28 AM
^ If we broke, $42k-$43k then we could be bullish.

But as of now, it seems that volume is not that high, perhaps its weekend and traders taking a rest. Nevertheless, it's good to see the price is going above $40k and hopefully it can maintain it that way because I'm feeling nervous when we are about to enter the 3rd or 4th week of this month which usually the price goes down again.
We have seen a recovery during this week in the price of bitcoin but it has been difficult for bitcoin to remain above the 42k level and right now it is experiencing a small drop in its price, the truth is that neither a pump or a crash seem likely at the moment and the most likely scenario by far is that the price of bitcoin keeps ranging for a very long time, as there is simply not enough strength for the bulls to produce a bull market even if we could surpass the 42k level.

Yup, no strength to push above $43k at least, although it remain above $40k and fluctuating around $41k. And as you have said, no pump and no crash either, somewhat in the middle but that scenario might change in the last week of this March as there could be some decrease because of the bitcoin future expirations. Not sure how much options are going to expire, but I reckon that it will be in the billions worth of btc again, so I'm expecting another slump before the end of the year.

Another of my live betting, buti nakalusot parehas, daan sa butas ng karayom, hehehhe

But Ark Innovation ETF has performed poorly in the last 12 months:

12 months is not a proper time to consider investment returns over.   BTC has the same problem in that many are only interested so long as every month its going up or might still go up, if people lose sight of that instant return they depart as if thats the entire story.  This is not the baseline behavior for BTC base gains, its proven itself to be a long term asset surprisingly.

True, sometimes you are tempted to sell and forgot your long term goal. For sure there are those who sell at an all time high last November. But if we look at the bigger picture, the returns could magnify if we are going to wait a little bit, just like in investing in stocks. Personally, I have stocks that I have been holding for the last 10 years and not willing to sell it even it if reaches a new high. Same with bitcoin, it could be the goal is to get to $1 million for some of us.
4856  Economy / Economics / Re: Ukraine VS Russia. Ideological or Economical conflict? on: March 20, 2022, 05:39:48 PM
I would agree that the NATO membership was just an excuse from Putin to attack Ukraine.

And it could be ideological, he believed that it is still with Russia, and since the government is anti-Putin, it has to be reminded that it was once was a part of Russia. And we may say that Putin has a nationalistic idea that he takes very seriously and no one can stop him from fighting for it even if it means attacking Ukraine and getting condemnation from the West.
4857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 20, 2022, 05:11:23 PM
Ugas is 4:1 underdog still. Very good and attractive odds at this point.

It's understandable that Ugas will remain as an underdog, however, that 4:1 odds for him is quite undervalued for him. I would understand if it's 3:1, but 4:1, I think that is just too much, and with that said, I might consider betting on Ugas. Who knows, upset could happen anytime.

Yeah, that is a huge underdog odds if it is 4:1 for Ugas. And this could influence bettors who are not a fan, but a pure gambler to just put money on him because of the possibility of an upset. And it seems that Spence is very confident that he will beat Ugas, so who knows, that confidence might fall through and the unexpected happen, bring huge profits to those who take the risk.

Right, anything can happen so why not risk it right now when the odds is still very high for a Ugas upset? And then we will see if Spence confidence is still there despite the eye injury and his accident years ago.

All things considered, this will be a great fight, of course everyone wanted a showdown between Spence and Crawford but this fight makes sense for now as all the belts is on the line.
4858  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: March 20, 2022, 09:20:17 AM

4859  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bear Market thread on: March 19, 2022, 11:53:24 PM

4860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 19, 2022, 07:42:31 PM
People are speculating that Ugas will upset Spence and the others were also saying that Spence will defeat Ugas via KO.
If the crowd really speculate Ugas will win against Spence, surely bookies will listed the fight where Ugas is the favorited... but the fact he's an underdog. It means the crowd is still on Spence's side not Ugas.

I could accept the speculation Ugas will upset Spence, but I don't agree if Spence will won via KO as we know Ugas do have good defensive style.

That's why this kind of discussion is needed because we have 2 sides of the story. So it's either you are wrong in your speculation or you got it right.

And with this fight, it's really hard to see where the fight will go, although sport bookies put Spence as the favorite but Ugas can be seen as a live underdog.
