4861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS fees on the ethereum network are slowly falling on: April 24, 2021, 09:06:09 AM
To be honest, I don't know how much gas fee I've been contributed already on the eth network when I am using uniswap and dexes. Last time Ive check is 3.39eth already have been consume for my gas fee on my wallet. Excluding other wallets I've used. Damn when I thinking of this I don't know how much money has been going only on fee that supposedly can be used for a living damn ethereum kindly step up a bit.
4862  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I stake my crypto? on: April 24, 2021, 03:10:58 AM
The problem with this type of "investment" is that your money is now in full control of a third party and can be lost in an instant. Historically the exchanges have always been the least safe place in crypto-space. They get hacked regularly, either on large scale when every user is affected or on small when individual accounts are hacked.
Can't argue with that but I'm just more confident than binance than most of the exchange out there. On a certain aspect you got a point, I should find a staking platform that is fully decentralized, but of course even decentralized approach have been some experience of exploitation. So nothings safe actually, it's just a matter of choice what to do on our asset.
4863  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I stake my crypto? on: April 24, 2021, 02:42:46 AM
Staking can only be profitable if the coin you're staking doesn't end up come crashing down in the end. Let's say, with coin X you're earning 20% more coin X annually from staking. But if ends up crashing down by 50% in a year, then you'd end up in a loss anyway. It's pretty much only worth it if the coin you're staking stays decently stable for a long-period, or if it goes up.
Thats why the good on staking are those stablecoins. I am staking sometime some stablecoin on Binance on their saving options.  5 to 6% APR is not bad and had no losses since the coin will not go down it price. I am looking actually for some higher percentage to stake my stablecoin but didn't want to try out other platform due to trust that it could be gone or what.

As far as I know Abra has 10% reward on staking too.
4864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Moving Altcoins to my bank account on: April 23, 2021, 07:59:27 AM
it seems he doesn't know how easy it is at binance rather than having to go through too many steps. maybe you can try to contact him and provide directions to use binance to make it easier
As much as I wanted to but he can searched that on the Web himself. If he have some trouble he can just refer to this thread and ask question regarding what he dont understand. Google is your friend SO I believe maybe that after he reads the comment here his trying it already and maybe done with his problem too.
4865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we use Bitcoin for regular transaction now? on: April 23, 2021, 06:07:01 AM
Should we use Bitcoin for regular transaction now? While mempool is overloaded
So average transaction fee right now is about 16 bucks. Is it to much?
It is much actually. Satoshi envision to make bitcoin as a means of peer to peer transaction. However he didn't maybe estimate that if the users are so many of course this would result to a lot of factors and disadvantage and one of it is the gas fee increases as too many holders and transaction now compared to early days. Anyway only few I knew here still on that stage but because they already used to it.
4866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Moving Altcoins to my bank account on: April 23, 2021, 04:40:39 AM
I need a NOIA and Kusama wallet on a platform where they can be exchanged for bitcoin, usdt, or cash because on the Kucoin HS app I see no way of doing any of that from my Main account. I moved money to my trading account to see if that creates a way to send the money but now they want to make me wait for the money to arrive. I want to deposit in my bank account.
Why not exchange those coins first into stablecoin then go to a platform that accept stablecoin to fiat conversion. Have you ever used Binance p2p? They supporting majority of crypto to fiat directly to your bank. I think almost all are supported. Not a fan of kucoin but if this makes you worry then shift to binance no hassle mate I assure you.
4867  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: need help, I lost my coin in 2010 on: April 23, 2021, 02:58:09 AM
I dont believe in fairy tales so probably it's close 100% impossible. 10years long is quite a different scenario from what you have experience mate. Like other's said possible that the faucet you are working before is now close or if not maybe different name now. The only thing you can do is definitely move on.

If only you could send some pictures of those faucet might be trigger something from it. Or at least the whole name so we can identify and know what happened to that platform.
4868  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am doomed on trading on: April 23, 2021, 02:22:15 AM
I pity OP but somehow I feel the post isn't good or necessary isn't it? Cause the topic is something like begging or what. It's not right to risk your money into something you don't even sure if there is a clear future especially if you have a child depending on the decision you are making. It's not an easy goal to achieve a good trading skill just by learning the app. It's all about the whole market and not just the platform you gonna work on.

Sorry about if the money was lost maybe you just came at a wrong time since the price now is awfully high and needed some corrections.
4869  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to build the community without spending money on marketing on: April 22, 2021, 11:49:33 PM
The project is good meanwhile it is another yield farming auto liquidity generation protocol. Can anyone help us to guide?
If it's really good it's should have supporters right? It's not that I'm judging the project but if there is a scam accusation like that what do you expect people will think of it right?

Most often people judge the project based on its publicly information display. Seeing those kind of things can go sideways and ruin the project reputation.

I'm sure you realize that now. A project with potential is born naturally and if this ends up with nothing then the team behind this has no competency and take note that marketing is important aspect on a project success.
4870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 50X - 100X (MOONING) on: April 22, 2021, 02:30:31 PM
Are you okay? Shitcoin doesn't need to prove anything legally cause even the owners of these projects are obviously didn't also think that their project will get hype. All thanks to Dogecoin outrageous Elon Shil and their project got some leeway on it. But honestly you think about it if there is a potential on this kind of project? Memecoin? I'll accept it if has some kind of use case at all. But literally nothing but created only for free trading pump and dump scheme.
4871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still cheering at 10% 20% on major exchanges? on: April 22, 2021, 02:05:03 PM
nah nah nah, i've done with something like that, which can easly dump or even rug pull soo sudden, last time i play idiotic gamble like that is when farm on BSC soo hype a few month ago, instant money when the coin getting up + with high APY , and the bad thing happen , the last farming i joined getting pulled just for 4 days, i still on profit from previous farm, but , i still get rekt.
I think something like this is really inevitable with those lousy projects. I am also done with some rug pulled type of project which can be easily noticed when dealing with them. I dont know if newbies will be able to learn how to avoid such tragedy. I accept that I am also a risk taker but somehow I can distinguish which one should give profit and the one would rob my money.
4872  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did the campaign you joined altcon campaignis a scam? Tell us abouts it on: April 22, 2021, 10:07:51 AM
I have been into altcoin campaigns before and unfortunately there are really scams projects. I'm not sure but maybe half of my social campaigns that participated before didn't pay me or become a useless project and turn out to be scam.

I still looking for good campaigns but not at the moment. Well I just accept it. Cause joining campaign is also a risk we must if we want to earn some valuable tokens that can be monetize.
4873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin advice on: April 22, 2021, 07:30:17 AM
Yeah! I can vouch for that, however, taking advantage of their prices going up requires you to have a good grasp of risk management, some research, and a money that you can freely play without worrying too much on losing them.
Yeah that's the thing. You are risking higher but like what others said. High risk high reward, sometime its works sometime its not. I know a lot of people doing this and I can see their fortune are really something incredible but of course for the sake of being safe from faults and scams then we must be a little bit sensitive about investment cause money is not that hard to acquire.

More importantly, choosing which alts/token to invest on has something to do with fundamental analysis and shilling of rumors in the community.
Yes picking a coin or token to invest with is also crucial regardless its degen or not. It must be equipped with feature or else you are investing on a failed subject again.
4874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin advice on: April 22, 2021, 05:30:23 AM
Hey guys I’m seeing a lot of success in Alt coins but I seem to always be a day behind the pump! Like I buy at 40x and sell at 50x? How do I know what coin to buy like all these guys before they pump them?!
Some of them have insider most likely. Like for example, a shitty coin is soon to be marketed or promoted by shillers and famous influencers, some of those guys have already bags during the price is still cheap and they will keep pushing through social media post to drive the price high. You can noticed if the hike is organic or just a fomo shill and bought by those who got attracted, but sometime fomoing isn't bad as I experience some pretty good gains doing that.
4875  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 3 Important Things every crypto newbie should know on: April 22, 2021, 03:20:45 AM
This is indeed a good precaution mate especially number 2. Many have witnessed how many exchanges got hacked and luckily some of those hacked are being returned but not all cases are like that. We don't know some get hacked and they can't sustained the loss of that breached and when your token or coin is there then sad to say that it's a loss. Good thing big exchanges started to improve their security but nevertheless the coin must be stored on a non custodial wallet for everybody's safety of course.
4876  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Safe Heaven Finance using someone else's photos (for testimonials) on: April 22, 2021, 02:55:26 AM
This is a truly dreadful website! I don't see how this project could spark any interest in the community.
What you expect mate. As long as there is an airdrop statement then interest from community will be so huge. I'm not sure how and why these kind of projects have keep doing these kinds even though they knew they aren't gonna scam a lot cause this is something isn't new to bitcointalk communities. Anything that have been used to copied means a hoax project especially on this one is the identity that is pure evil.

I pitied those used social profile in this kind of money grab attempt.
4877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB always Burn on: April 21, 2021, 09:57:14 AM
Can anyone tell me why BNB keeps burning coins? Is the aim only to increase the BNB price or is there another purpose?
Usually some company have their own roadmap and achievement and Binance already or earlier mentioned this during their launch that they will keep burning their coin not only to gain price but to maximize and balance the supply and demand of their token that has been used on their platform.

Inflation wise, this is a good move isn't it? Also knowing CZ, the ceo of the company he will be keeping his word until the end.
4878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth gas trackers! on: April 21, 2021, 07:39:27 AM
Even though having all the gas trackers ETH cannot help us get transactions faster and more economical at the moment.  Sad
OP put a note for the purpose mate. It's literally just a reference note just in case other is not working. Regarding transaction faster, there is no issue with that. The blockchain is still at it is. Just put a good gwei and you will see a fast transaction. However the gas fee is high. I'm sure you are asking about the solution for the fee to get lower am I right?
4879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A quick question about setting limit orders on an exchange. on: April 21, 2021, 07:28:05 AM
That's definitely can be done via OCO of binance however the only disadvantage of this method is it hit the order which it comes first. Sometime you can see an annoying market trades where your order have been hit or the stop loss order for a very short period of time and let's just say you'decide to sleep on it and when you wake up the price of your take profit set has been overrun now. Its dissapointing right? And what's worse is your stop loss order was intercepted in a while and go up continously after that.

It feels like you shouldn't set OCO for stop order.
4880  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Crypto Communities Matters? on: April 21, 2021, 06:59:25 AM
One of the best ways to get involved in cryptocurrencies is to interact with the most active crypto communities. In most cases members are supportive and ready to answer your questions.
Sometime searching alone can also be a good way. But you are right, joining some communities will be helpful, but you are already on a good community where people can help you and address your query and questions. I believe it doesn't need the "most active" the one with common and natural way of giving info is enough already as long as the information being shared is helpful that could be implied as best too.
