4861  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: December 14, 2015, 08:43:22 PM
Btc will go back to 200$ I can bet it. That's why i sold it. Even fiat money changes but btc? It has nothing material, the price depends ONLY of the market Wink
and fiat depends on what, The cosmos? Currently every stock including paper money is crashing hard, except bitcoin. People get that bitcoin is a pretty good store of value.

Btc can do from 250 to 500 in one day. NO FIAT MONEY has EVER changed that much in such a short period of time. Why? Only because a fiat money has a whole country behind it Wink

There's one subject called History you should study it: before the WWII the Deutsch Mark reached crazy values

So, man, sorry but you're wrong.
4862  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game (formerly moneypot.com) on: December 14, 2015, 08:38:30 PM
I joined even this bustabit: a lot of fun actually, nice graphics pretty smooth experience. Love the faucet there: like others I was not abel to log in because of a DoS attack but now everything works fine.
4863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 14, 2015, 08:32:15 PM
almost half time and still 0-0. I'm going to place a live bet on lazio scoring the first goal in the second half. Watching the game but not the best I've seen recently. I expected more from these two teams, boring game.
4864  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you trade based off emotions? on: December 14, 2015, 11:00:52 AM
I'm not trading anymore I tend to get emotionally involved too much and that is not good because in the end we're always talking money, aren't we?
So I hold tight and wait to see what happens. That's pretty much it.

4866  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Blocksize needs to be increased now. on: December 14, 2015, 10:21:31 AM

I would personally feel more comfortable with a small blocksize increase that will buy more time for new ideas to be properly researched and tested. Bitcoin is probably one of the most scrutinized systems for security holes and one major security hole is all it would take to bring down market capitalization to 0.

Makes sense.

In either case, searching up and down in the forum about the issue I found a very interesting discussion about blocksize which dates back to 2010. I personally found the blocksize automatic adjustment quite good. I don't know how it will work today though.

4867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency - 0.8.8.6 on: December 14, 2015, 09:41:52 AM
Monero 0.9 beta still consumes a lot of memory when I synchronize blockchain that wasn't updated for 15 days.

In Windows 7:

+ Working memory:  2114890Kb (~2GB)
+ Elapsed time: 2.5 hours (very slow I think)

Same here win 8.1! I'm syncing since the very first block and waiting so much is fatiguing me. Also, I don't have a flat connection so I have to stop every now and then. I hope I'll get this rolling soon.
4868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 1,5 BTC? on: December 14, 2015, 09:35:22 AM
Put it in cold storage & keep it safe, think of it as an investment for future gains.

Yes, or learn hot to make a nice paper wallet to forget about your holdings: then wait a bit and come back here.
Apart from all this my only advice for you is to keep them safe and to learn hot to handle them in the best possible way. And then good luck.
4869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 14, 2015, 09:31:13 AM
Man my comment is very easy: Juventus has the best team! They have the best in goal, the best defence, excellent midfielder and a hell of attackers.

I'm sorry but Inter and Napoli are way down below! No offence. It's a good bet Juventus winning the league at the moment. Might bet it.
4870  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is BTC going permanently over 500$ in december 2015? on: December 14, 2015, 09:28:18 AM
We should be easily at 500$ by the beginning of January. Nothing is always the same but the price held three major pump/dumps recently so maybe is time to establish the price above 500$, this time for good.
4871  Economy / Speculation / Re: The scam is so bloody obvious. on: December 14, 2015, 09:26:16 AM
I don't buy it sorry:it seems you were also around when it was easy enough to get a load of BTC and save them for one day. I didn't get that chance but I will not listen to your advice, sorry.

Bitcoin is not a scam, it's the best technology ever who gave people the power to own their own money. Which is a lot to me!
4872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 14, 2015, 09:10:49 AM
Juventus is going back to the top after many weeks of struggling and they seem to me the best candidate to win back Serie A. Now Inter and Napoli will have to keep an insane pace of winnings if they don't want to see Juventus going to the top.

$500-600 by end of dec is looking legit

Yes, even in times of pure and simple manipulation we see the barricades holding strong. And it looks like the first time! I agree with you then 500 by the end of this month/beginning of January is not a dream.
 Cool
4874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: December 14, 2015, 09:05:07 AM
cryptopay.me offers a lot of bank related services along with a debit card to spend your btc with the card. It doesn not offer any interests on your holdings but it seems running since a while now and quite established.
4875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 13, 2015, 01:55:44 PM
Today there are exceptionally four games in Serie A which can give us chance to build up a nice parlay

Genoa - Bologna under 2,5 goals
Palermo - Frosinone Palermo wins
Sassuolo - Torino Home or draw
Udinese - Internazionale under 3,5 goals

Inter usually wins 1-0 and this time won 4-0 only to nullify my parlay. That's a pity, it was a very nice parlay I should have followed someone's advice who told me to bet Inter winning only.

Norwich - Everton Everton wins
Man City - Swansea over 2,5 goals
West Ham - Stoke City under 2,5 goals
Bournemouth - Man UTD Draw or away

One can't even go to sleep here that this happens all the time! My crazy bitcoin you give me so much fun every single day.
By the way when I looked at that red candle it looked somewhat scary  Wink

Back on track, let's start again.
4879  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your gambling stategy? Are you risky, or do you prefer slow? on: December 12, 2015, 01:12:23 AM
My gambling strategy is to win, always: if I don't I get pissed off very easily and I come here and blame the guys here who gave me the wrong picks. Grin
4880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police Raid Home of Alleged "Bitcoin Creator" Craig Wright - ALL FACTS on: December 12, 2015, 01:09:10 AM
Let's put things into sequence: Wright is not Satoshi but there's an article which claims that he can probably be him. Then this guy get raided by the australian police. If there was no article we would have never heard of him. My question is why and what this really have to do with bitcoin?

Quote
CEO Craig Steven Wright said Denariuz Bank would begin accepting deposits in the second half of 2014 and would eventually offer Bitcoin-based equivalents of conventional savings accounts, term deposits, credit and debit cards, and loans.

Quote
Wright said Denariuz would launch with a global pool of more than 100,000 Bitcoin ($A73.6 million) from its backers.

Eventually, the bank hopes to have a million customers globally.

Wow.

Via search for 'Denariuz' on this forum.

Ok. Touché, I should have spoken for myself only. I heard of him only when the article came out. Thanks  Wink
