4861  Other / Meta / Re: Banned in Bitcointalk for 1 month on: August 05, 2015, 03:34:09 PM
is it really possible to get banned in here? what is the things we can do if we got banned? im sorry im just new in here so i need details also for preventing it. thank you.
The only people I have seen banned have been people who just spam constantly or are attempting to impersonate and scam. I wouldn't worry about being banned.

Im sure that scammers dont get banned.

The main reasons for a ban is trolling or spamming.

Check this thread for forum rules:

Corps will not consider anything you guys are saying (even though im 100% agreeing), why? because it will cut profits. Simple, 1-2-3

Indeed. The truth is gmos are way superior in effiency.
Gm crops for example can grow during winter and are immune against pests and illnesses.

The problem is only that we dont know for sure if it is healthy or not.

Most scientist also say there is no way to not use gmo for the future, because we just need to produce more food for the increasing world population.

Dead?

Hi it is not dead but the development has some time issues regarding one of the devs.
I already spoke with cryptaxe and he tries to get exact information on when the other dev is ready.

We should get some definite infos by next week
4864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did any of you made a killing with VNL? on: August 05, 2015, 10:44:46 AM
So apparently the dev was wrong and aggressive on an issue regarding Bitcoin 6 months ago, this matters today how exactly?

I only saw it by coincidence because it was posted in the bbr thread just some hours earlier.

But tbh it puts the vnl dev in a very shady corner.
Wrong technical knowledge about cryptography, copying bitcoin code and trying to hide it and all the other stuff.

But well it was 6 months ago i wish you people good luck

My gf is working on her ph.d in biotoxicology right now.
I talked to her several weeks ago about gmos:

We are already eating gmos en masse, it is just not crops but every other thing we buy.
In germany the departmen for food and food law says approximately 60-80% of food in german stores was in some kind genetically modified.

I hope it is not unhealthy else we will have a huge problem.

Shouldn't this kind of thing be determined before it enters the food supply, not after?

Well it is, it just doesnt need to be declared.
For example gmos are used to feed animals that we later eat but there is no need to declare that on the meat.
Same with micro bacteria and so on which is used in food processing/preparation etc.

On what basis do you claim that they are safe?

I said i hope they are safe because else we have a huge problem.
As far as i know there is no concrete scientific studies about long term effects on these types of gmo ( animal food and micro bacteria)
The studies taht exist though dont point for bad effects but they are not long term

I hazard a guess that no one here has read this amazing site The Keshe Foundation

Can you tell us what their solution is about? Their videos are either short but vague, or very long.

Too long to really explain, in a nutshell it is free energy forever (for everyone)
This guy invented the tech (Remember the US downed drones by Iran) down with no damage.
I believe it was his knowledge that done this, possibly under duress by his government.

He has also sent all world governments and the U.N. the blueprints to make this free energy available, this happened a while ago mind you, I have not really kept up with this website in a couple of years, but as we can see in the present day no government has released it.

Oh yes you can dowload it for yourself from the site, its a pain looking for it though.
Most of it is in PDF format... check the forums the link is some where there, anyone with scientific knowledge would be at ease with it I suppose.

This guy has has had a hard time getting noticed, by the mainstream media, and we know why, suppression.

They wanted to stop all wars, hunger and energy problems in 2014 as with the release of the misterious technology.

Seems like a huge scam.

Someone should write a guide about the things not to do to be a successful illegal immigrant.
1/ Don't have a friend lock you up in a suitcase inside the trunk of a car.
2/ Don't try to cross a desert on foot.
3/ Don't get aboard a boat designed for 50 passengers when there's already 500 people there.
Etc, etc...

Actually, it's only common sense.

And the worst this people are paying several thousands $ for that.
Getting loans, selling all there property etc.
4871  Economy / Speculation / Re: How will you celebrate when we surpass Berkshite Hathaway Class A shares? on: August 05, 2015, 01:42:41 AM
So wait, is Bitcoin more like the internet, or Berkshire Hathaway Class A shares, or is it more like Broadcast.com?

I guess most ppl are still undecided, but i would say if it is brk-a then selling would be one the worst things to do Smiley

4873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK banks' innovation render bitcoin pointless (?) on: August 04, 2015, 12:02:49 PM
Here we go again. I should start hunting people and stapling this to their face.
One of the fundamental ideas of Bitcoin is the separation of state and money; i.e. this means that if you want to get out of the current corrupted financial system, then Bitcoin is your way out.

Try moving that same money from China to the US to see just how instant that process is. Bitcoin is the sole reason for which they are going to try and implement such services. They are afraid that it will ruin them (i.e. we're in that phase now).
Basically the government is still going to track what you're doing with your money and has the right to take it (see Cyprus and Greece) as they please.

Please provide us with the links to these 'recent apps', so that I can do a close inspection.

http://personal.natwest.com/personal/ways-to-bank-with-us1/mobile-banking/mobile-payments.html

I agree with some of the stuff about problems with the banks. However I'm not a fan of the mega wealthy being able to hide their wealth away - see piketty's rationale for greater wealth transparency.

Separate to the above is the practical use cases for Bitcoin which we have to try to analyse objectively.  I doubt this internally in the UK now. Add on the ~5% fiat->BTC fees and it gets worse. Moving money abroad will become easier if there is a sufficient demand for it.

you know how the rich and criminals in the real world hide and launder their money right?
i guess you dont so i will tell you how:

through your lovely banks Smiley

*edit

do i understand correct that you are saying there is only little demand for international banking/money transfer? o.O

4875  Other / Meta / Re: SebastianJu getting seduced by trust farmers - and he's loving it! on: August 04, 2015, 10:56:20 AM
to be honest i do not think that it is a good idea to give trust as a escrow.

the partys using the escrow should give the escrow positive or negative trust.

the trust system here has quite a broad definition and i think the best way to give positive trust is if you risked x amount of money to someone and dont get scammed by that person.

the trust of someone who has nothing to lose is quite worthless in my opinion especially here where you can trade accounts and trust.

But with that definition you could never give trust when you use an escrow. The risk with an escrow is very low, so in theory no party should get a trust rating, except the escrow maybe, because he was a "risk" at some level. You trust him with coins. That would mean that no trust would be given for trades that happened with escrows involved. Which would render the trust system relatively useless since the only way to risk for buyer and seller is when they dont use an escrow. And i dont think thats something that should be supported since i had to learn that on the forum are really scammers that would scam for less than $10...

uhm thats my point, only seller/buyer should rate the escrow.
the escrow should not rate them besides a neutral because they were friendly or whatever.

the trust system is to help people not getting scammed and i dont think this will change something.
people that trade directly with each other can still give each other trust or just use a trusted escrow - which would be a good think because it will help a lot against scams.

but i gotta say i can uderstand your point there must be some balance around it :/

but i hope you can understand that someone who could have scammed you but didnt is much more trustworthy then someone who could not steal anything anyway
4876  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Moroccan dies in suitcase while smuggled to Spain on: August 04, 2015, 10:07:36 AM
nothing of value was lost

Just perhaps something that can change the world for good, one life can influence the life of others in ways you can never imagine. All lifes are important, even yours saddampbush with your limited mind.

really? even someone as him? god you must be a saint or something....

hallo yanpoe,

4879  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NUCLEAR IS GREENEST TECHNOLOGY CLAIM 65 TOP BIOLOGISTS on: August 04, 2015, 08:31:06 AM
Black Swan risk calculations, or STFU and GTFO. Angry

The safety argument reeks of erroneously ignoring the possibility of rare events similar to Chernobyl or Fukushima. Maybe it's expedience, maybe they were taught at school to ignore outliers when drawing smoothed graphs.

Or maybe "this time it's different"... because next-generation plants will not be susceptible to unforeseen disasters. Wink

If people want efficient solar: grow and harvest high-energy crops and forests for fuel.
-land usage is far more efficient than any system of mirrors or panels.
-plants produce a natural 3d matrix that has far superior light absorption qualities than panels. (Reflected light is scattered downwards).
-It's carbon-neutral, and plays much better with local fauna compared to solar panel factories or arrays of mirrors, or wind turbines.

But time consumption regarding growing and processing to eletricity is big.
Also think about social  and economical consequences of burning food...

Although we soon might have special gmos for just that.
But well the oil and other energy lobbys will probaly stop that.
4880  Other / Meta / Re: SebastianJu getting seduced by trust farmers - and he's loving it! on: August 04, 2015, 01:57:16 AM
hm..  just checked the default trust and it seems atleast some escrows are doing this and even posting the escrow amount in the risked btc section.

this is serious bs and im actually thinking of deleting this ppl from my default trust.
also recommending this to everyone else.

also it would make the problem even more worst if the escrow would take payment for it, because this would be just plain trust selling.

i hope some other ppl will check the default list escrows too
