You don't understand what i mean. You have broke the forum rules, so you will be permanently banned with all of your alt account soon because you evade it.
I don't think that he cares whether that newbie account gets banned or not. In the end why should he when he can just create another in a few years minutes and continue with bounty hunting, even though he otherwise, that he is not interested in bounty hunting anymore.

Kinda ironic, someone got banned for plagiarism complains about someone else taking a credit for his workers.
4862  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Still planning to build a mining rig? on: March 07, 2021, 08:02:24 AM
The Mining future is still bright. There are many more minable coins apart from Ether. Yes it has been the most profitable but times change  Wink Therefore I don't think it over yet for the GPU guys. This teaches us a lesson to always seize an opportunity when it's still available
Maybe it's not over yet for those that want to start mining with GPUs, but it is still very risky to start. I mean, it's one thing if you got your rig/GPUs five-six months ago where prices were normal, and another thing if you are trying to build one now. Even if you manage to get GPUs in a reasonable timeframe (I know that people are waiting for a month to get them), you will still have to overpay them, grossly.

This reminded me; just few weeks ago one cousin contacted me (whom I tried to talk into investing in BTC years ago but he wasn't interested at the time, i guess BTC was too cheap then), wanting to take a loan from the bank to build the mining rig. He was very adamant about building a rig (he even planned to keep it in an apartment where he lives) as some friend told him that it's "easy money". I somehow managed to talked him out of it, and instead suggested to start buying BTC using dollar cost average method, without bank loans, which I would suggest to everyone who doesn't have an access to dirt cheap electricity.
4863  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List of fake wallets on Google Play, 2 active at the moment! on: March 06, 2021, 09:12:47 PM
@Rikafip, I'm not really sure if this has been spotted, but I just check Google Play and another Fake Exodus with no download/s yet:
Nope, that fake Exodus wallet hasn't been spotted here for now so I added it to the list, and of course reported it too.

When I look at the list of so far reported wallets, basically 1/3 is Exodus. I don't know why is Exodus such a go-to wallet among scammers, do people really use it that much so scammers are going for the most popular android wallet? I personally never used it, and neither did any of my friends I really had no idea that Exodus is that popular.
4864  Other / Meta / Re: Should the Scam Accusations & Reputation sections be more restricted/moderated? on: March 06, 2021, 09:38:12 AM
In my opinion those few posts are not big issues when we consider the amount of spam on other sections. I would like to have strict moderation on all over the forum because it is like we are again flooded with spam threads all over the forum due to the bull run?!

Exactly this. Majority of boards are swamped with useless/poorly constructed threads and those Scam accusation & Reputation boards are not really exception here.

That of course doesn't mean that there shouldn't be some order there, but if mods gonna enforce stricter rules, why not then do the same for rest of the forum, like Bitcoin Discussion and Altcoin board which are complete mess.
4865  Economy / Reputation / Re: @ico-services, alt of @poutintsev? on: March 05, 2021, 09:23:27 PM
1. Just because some scam project used bumping services, it doesn't mean that trustworthy project can't use same services as well. It's the same if you claimed that law abiding citizens cannot buy hand guns, because criminals use them too.
I can't imagine why trustworthy project would like to have a bunch of newbie accounts shilling and writing nonsense like "great project" or "kyz project will make x100"as that's how ANN thread bumping usually looks like, especially since those same newbie accounts are usually shilling scam projects at the same time. I have yet to find thread bumping group that didn't promote scam at one point. And when I say scam, I mean an obvious scam like ponzi schemes or projects with fake team members.

2. People buy accounts, because it's almost impossible to get enough merit as a newbie. Old members like you never give merit to new members. Some buy old accounts to run the signature campaign, which you mentioned as alternative to bumping service. Everyone knows that as a newbie the things you can do on this forum are very limited, so that's the reason why people buy old accounts.
Almost impossible to get merit as a newbie? Another misconception. Sure, it takes some effort, but if you are active, helpful and don't write nonsense  you will eventually rank up. So did I and many others before and after me. If anything, there is a lack of quality newbie members on the forum.

It looks like you have no better things to do.
There are actual criminals in crypto space who have stole money form other people. I suggest you to focus on them.
But instead you waste your time discussing a person who only does things that against your own moral code.
Seems to me like you are the one who doesn't have better things to do than activate alt account in order to defend your main account.
4866  Economy / Reputation / Re: @ico-services, alt of @poutintsev? on: March 05, 2021, 05:59:07 PM

He gave @ico-services negative score, you dumbass Cheesy

Take another look at the feedback I left to @ico-services, does that look like a negative feedback, or neutral? I even marked it so you can see better. As you can see, he has 2 negative feedbacks, but from other members, not me. By the way, thanks for remidning me to this, I might actually change it to negative now Smiley

Since you obviously don't know the difference between positive/neutral/negative feedbacks, you might wanna check LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system.
4867  Economy / Reputation / Re: [LIST] ANN threads that are using bumping services on: March 05, 2021, 01:58:33 PM
Yeah, I said that.
Ah yes, thank you Smiley

I just saw this thread pop up and hour ago and spent a bunch of time looking at those threads.

Pretty horrible. Not to be an "English speaking elitist" but come on at least try a little bit. Makes you wonder, are they just paying the actual people that are doing the bumping that little and the people running the service are taking the money or is just that this quality is all that is out there.
At first I thought that this service must be dirt cheap considering the quality (better to say lack of quality) of the job done, but then I checked on the fiverr where they massively promote this, and it ain't cheap at all. Just look at this add, where seller lies about bitcointalk having 60 million users, can't write a single proper sentence, yet he charges 21 posts €26.34 and despite all that projects hire him. Imagine how incompetent team has to be in order to hire someone like him?

If your announcement thread isn't on the top page. It has gone to the bottom pages.

There are 60 MILLION users Who can"t see your ann thread because of that. Did you understand?.

your page doesn't get any views. All your effort and money went in vain. All the views are getting your competitors. It shouldn't be like this.RIGHT?

Why do you need bitcointalk comments?

After publishing bitcointalk thread, it usually disappears from users view because of less engagement.

Therefore, I will keep up your thread to generate more views. I will make sure that your annthread will be on the topper page of bitcointalk

you can get an ABUNDANT amount of visitors and investors if you're on the topper pages.

I can help you to be on the TOPPER PAGE!!! ORGANICALLY by commenting on your thread. This will increase engagement and bump up your thread.

I have huge knowledge and extensive experience in crypto and its promotion system and I have 200+ bitcointalk accounts.

If you want to have the benefit of your ann thread..."CONTACT ME as soon as possible"

Best regards

4868  Economy / Scam Accusations / Two fake Exodus wallets on Google Play on: March 05, 2021, 07:42:13 AM
Fake Exodus wallet that was reported a week ago has been removed , but two fake Exodus wallets showed on on Google Play. It is basically a whack-a-mole game with these ake apps, but I think that it is worth reporting them nevertheless. Less time they spend on Google Play, less chance for someone to fall for this scam attempt so please report those two new wallets, it will only take a few seconds of your time.

1. Promoting ANN bumping group is not wrong nor illegal.
It certainly isn't  illegal, but it's also something that legit projects simply won't do for many reasons, mostly because those who are offering such services are also ready to promote the scams, without any exception. Those who really want to promote the project in a honest way will just run a signature campaign.

2. Buying high ranking accounts is not wrong nor illegal.
True, not illegal but it is frowned upon, and for a good reason. Many sold accounts were used for scam purposes so that explains why buying/selling accounts will usually get you red tagged.

3. If a person was consulting an ICO that turned out to be dishonest, it doesn't mean that he did anything wrong or even knew about the scam. Or with that logic do you blame all workers of Mt. Gox and Blockchain.com for the scams their company did?
Again true, but when you combine that with all the others things he did, it becomes an issue.

By the way, there was no need for you to use a new account just to write all that, you could have just used your main account, Mr Poutintsev.
4870  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Freewallet wrongfully promoting their services on news platform on: March 04, 2021, 03:26:41 PM
But, why only Freewallet mentioned? Haven't you heard about Freewallet freezing users account? What if the price of cryptocurrencies decreased at the time. The thing is, both Freewallet and exchanges are all offering custodial services. In this regard, Freewallet is not a good example, to be able to have access to your coin anytime you want, you need to have a noncustodial wallet, and Freewallet is custodial and not a good example, users do not have the private key to the coins thry are having there on their Freewallet account, and not your key not you coin. Such inconveniences can occur on any platform providing custodial services, be it wallets or exchanges.
Thing is, Cointelegraph didn't use Freewallet as an example out of the goodness of their heart but because Freewallet paid for the promotion, plan and simple. That's why they only mentioned Frewallet afterall and not the others. They would say the same thing for basically any other wallet that is willing to pay. In the end, that's what crypto news portals mainly consist of, paid articles.

We all know that Freewallet should be avoided, but I am not sure what exactly you mean when you said "wrongfully promoting"? I might have missed that, but did they say in the artcile that they are non-custodial?

4871  Economy / Reputation / Re: [LIST] ANN threads that are using bumping services on: March 04, 2021, 02:28:21 PM
Several accounts are actively involved in these threads. It's not hard to guess that this is part of a small bumping farm.
Yep, all those accounts mentioned are indeed part of the bumping farm working on all those four threads that  you mentioned (Aladdin Exchange, SOCIETATIS, CRP and Chaingateway) so they have been added on the list. I can't believe that this thing is still going on, how clueless those that are hiring these guys must be if they keep hiring them? As someone said earlier, scammers scamming other scammers.

Regarding those four accounts, they have another thing in common, and that's the source of their merit, now banned account kpcian. So, we have here four accounts that are working on the same threads and all of them got their only merit from a single account, that is banned now. A bit too much coindence for my taste, banned kpcian probably operates on the forum, now via his alts. Or he sold the merit to those sock puppet accounts.
4872  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Solomon Cash using stock photo for their CEO! on: March 04, 2021, 02:09:57 PM
That's your call why get triggered? Obviously I don't really have a say on this but I am trying to go for an unbiased stance so as to be fair. I didn't know about those sock puppet shit you are talking about so that might be an indicator that I am leaning on letting the tag stay.
Triggered?Nah. Just surprised with your statement that I have to remove the tag, even though @micle00 didn't really do anything to deserve that removal, he/she just went offline for a couple of months. Regarding the connection to sock puppet accounts, I mentioned that in the post you quoted and based on the fact that I didn't get an answer, look like I was onto something, which was confirmed later by @lovesmayfamilis.

Well, @micle00 says that s/he only was hired to post the thread but not directly involved in the project, it doesn't matter if the project was a scam, I deduce based on his/her post that s/he might be innocent in the scam.
He/she might be just hired to post an announcement thread and it's pretty much common practice here. What he failed to do though is to check the project before accepting the job. It took me a minute or two to check the team via reverse image search to find fake team members. If @micle00 bothered to do that, all this could have been avoided.

I've changed feedback from negative to neutral in the past in relatively similar situations, but in this case it will stay.
4873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let satoshi talk to us. on: March 03, 2021, 09:37:35 PM
I think it will be a good ideas if satoshi will give us a speech on his innovation,I will kindly like yo hear the speech or comments of satoshi about bitcoin, I don’t have a particular point to mention here, He should generalize his comments in all part of his innovative(Bitcoin) this will take bitcoin to $100k and more. Every one will link to see what will happen.
You do understand that Satoshi Nakamoto stopped being active for 10 years now? Since then he didn't write any comments here or anywhere else for that matter, neither he sent email to anyone so I doubt that he will show up now and and grant your request for a speech.

If you really want to read everything that Satoshi ever wrote, I suggest that you check The Complete Satoshi. Everything is there; emails, forum posts, code, quotes and of course Bitcoin whitepaper.
4874  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Solomon Cash using stock photo for their CEO! on: March 03, 2021, 09:22:15 PM

On top of that, I am still waiting and answer to my question about connection with sock puppet accounts and thread shilling. So yeah, tag stays for now.

On the contrary, I can add that he deserves another red tag, as his farm accounts have been tagged. I don't believe in such coincidences, especially in such a large forum. It is enough just to look at one ANN thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2208174.500

Yep, that's why I asked him about sock puppet accounts and shilling as it was obvious that something dodgy is going there, since I don't really believe in coincidence and as I see, neither do you.  Anyway, thanks for taking some time to connect those accounts, but somehow i think that we won't hear from @micle00  any time soon.

4876  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Solomon Cash using stock photo for their CEO! on: March 03, 2021, 12:37:58 PM
That shouldn't discount the fact that you have to remove the tag, the reason that s/he might have went offline is because s/he was waiting for you to remove the tag. You didn't say anything about @micle00 that s/he should be posting in the forum despite the negative trusts. You said that you will put a neutral tag and I think that it will be enough for many people to keep an eye out for @micle00.
Oh really, I have to remove the tag?

How else to decide whether @micle00 learned anything from the mistake, other than from her activity on the forum, and since there was no activity on the forum, I can make that decision. As simple as that.

On top of that, I am still waiting for an answer to my question about connection with sock puppet accounts and thread shilling. So yeah, tag stays for now.
4877  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FAKE TESLA ICO on: March 02, 2021, 09:55:50 PM
Would not be surprised if this is just another scam because we have seen how scammers operate. They jump on any hype and use it to market a scam.

There is no doubt what's really going on there, even though it could fool a comple noobie. Then again, that's exactly their target audience, people that heard about bitcoin for the first time when Tesla invested few months ago, and know nothing about crypto. People still send money to bitcoin doublers, let alone something like this.

4878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 02, 2021, 09:32:37 PM
Ayton will have to play a good game for the Lakers to lose.  That's asking a lot from the young big man.  We'll see though.  The Suns usually have a hard time against the Lakers, but this is the best team we've had in years.  I'll be watching the game tonight.  It's a nationally televised event on TNT, which the Suns don't see very often.  I actually can't remember if I've ever seen the Suns on TNT.  Certainly not since the Nash/Marion days.
Ah so you are Suns fan Smiley. Yeah I agree, Ayton won't have an easy job against Harell and Gasol, that's for sure. I've been underestimating your team yet they keep winnings, so decided to put some money on the this time.

Can't say I paid attention much to Suns since the Nash days, but because my countrymen Saric joined them (who I think is pretty decent this season considering the minutes he had) kinda started watching Suns game again.
4879  Economy / Economics / Re: holding bitcoin from early 2010 till today on: March 02, 2021, 09:11:45 PM
Wow, what a time, and to ever think it has this level of growth in less than 20 years is really encouraging. I would no have believed it could get this far if I was even aware of bitcoin then. No doubt many thought that buying 1000btc for $3 was even throwing money away. But look at it now. Soon 1satoshi will even be worth more than $3. History is a good thing and we learn from the past.
Even though bitcoin price will go up way more than it is now, I don't think that we can expect 1 satoshi=$3, at least not in any reasonable time frame. According to current bitcoin price, 1 satoshi equals approximately $0.00048 so for satoshi to reach 1 cent, price bitcoin price has to be $1 million. And then you have to multiply it with 300 to get the number you mentioned, and I think you will agree that number won't be easy to reach in our lifetime, let alone soon.
4880  Economy / Economics / Re: holding bitcoin from early 2010 till today on: March 02, 2021, 05:56:57 PM
Did bitcoin ever went that low to 1cent? I saw somewhere that its lowest was 10cents. Was that what you wanted to write but mistakenly wrote 1cent? On the part of anyone holding from 2010 till now, that is not possible holding without selling till now. Everyone sells at the point they see they have made enough profit on investment. Buying at less than a dollar and not selking when it got to $1,000 will be a miracle.
At one point in the time price was much lower than $0.01. In the reddit AMA theymos had years ago, he confirmed (and shared screenshot) that he sold BTC for insanely low price (1 BTC went for $0.003), but that's how it was back in the day when no one thought that bitcoin will reach these prices.

Thanks to those early adopters bitcoin is what it is now. If those early adopters weren't actually using it, chances are majority of us would never heard about bitcoin.
