4861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If YOU were Satoshi, what would you do now? on: April 10, 2017, 02:41:46 PM
If I were at Satoshi's place I would do exactly the same thing as he does know. Keep hidden from public and all this hustle and enjoy the products of my work.
Actualy, I don't think there is something that Satoshi actualy could do to change something so there would be no use of revealin himself.
4862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convert BTC to USD, EUR or YUAN for profit? on: April 10, 2017, 01:19:43 PM
I prefer localbitcoins because there I have trusted trader and I can exchange Bitcoins for a convenient rate on fast and easy way with no much troubles. Before I have used exchangers but when I discovered localbitcoins I don't use them anymore. You can also try with users here on forum but that is risky and unreliabe.
4863  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or zcash? on: April 09, 2017, 06:34:45 PM
Comparing to any altcoin, not just zcash, I would always give advantage to Bitcoin. Still there isn't any which could compete with Bitcoin and have some real value and be used in real life like Bitcoin. Altcoins are good for trading but that is prety much all. So, for me there is no doubt between Bitcoin and zcash, Bitcoin wins
4864  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Professional Trader on: April 09, 2017, 06:19:11 PM
I would say today is very hard to be professional Bitcoin trader. Trading is not anymore as it used to be, it requires many knowledge, skills, experience and full dedication, almost 24/7 presence at the market. For me professional trader is one that is able to make for a living with Bitcoin trading and I think there are very few of such people.
4865  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a bot for trading? on: April 09, 2017, 06:08:53 PM
I have never used bot in trading. I simply don't have that much trust in something like this and leave the bot with my funds. There are also different bugs, viruses and similar stuff so I just rather do it by myself. And so far I haven't heard of any experiences where bot actualy helped in trading results.
4866  Economy / Speculation / Re: Imagine how the guys that sold at $800 feel now on: April 09, 2017, 06:00:08 PM
It's always so because it's so easy to spread the panic. People start to fear they will lose a lot and with some unconfirmed informations you can make this fear even biger and make them sell. Some experienced users can resist to such influence and keep their head cool and rational but over and over again every price dump shows how easy it's to manipulate with people.
4867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: April 09, 2017, 08:07:25 AM
20 years is extremly long period and no one can't say for sure what will happen with Bitcoin. But it's sure that there will be new challenges for Bitcoins that should be overcomed. Maybe some new cryptocurrencies will appear that could compete with Bitcoin that is at the moment not the case.
4868  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: April 08, 2017, 06:42:32 PM
Of course Bitcoin price matters. Remember just what happened few weeks ago when price has fallen down and many started talking how Bitcoin is dead and that this is the end, they will abandone it. So, no matter to all other advantages the price is still the most important thing that attracts people to Bitcoin.
4869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: April 08, 2017, 06:20:50 PM
BTC has no competition because most of the other cryptos don't possess the neccessary qualities to bring something better than what BTC has. They are just kind of in their own thing but they cannot make a difference on a global level and that is why they can't go to another level. So BTC will most likely be the number one crypto for quite a long time to come, for me the most interesting question is which will be the crypto that will have the chance to surpass BTC and how long will it take

That is all true and its interesting how many other cryptocurrencies appear each day but with no bigger success. And none of this currencies can't come even close to Bitcoin value. The only currency that is kind of small competition to Bitcoin is Monero, but only in sense of anonimity and that is why is used on dark markets and Bitcoin has lost a big deal of its anonimity.
4870  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will reach $1500? on: April 07, 2017, 06:02:00 PM
To my opinion not that soon. Recently Bitcoin has survived successfully some bad moments and price has recovered fast. But I think it will stay for a while in the range of 1000$ to 1200$ and the price of 1500$ we could maybe expect some time next year if everything goes well in between.
4871  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Any legit profitable faucets? on: April 07, 2017, 05:44:52 PM
Moonbitcoin is one trusted faucet that I could recommend. I think it's also the one that pays the most and if you have Xapo wallet you can receive direct payments. I was using it for a while but very soon I realised that faucets are actualy waist of time. Invest your time in something more profitable.
4872  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: April 07, 2017, 01:59:39 PM
1000 Bitcoins, in what period of time? This is enormous amount and would be very, very hard to get. Unless if the person is the criminal so it can use other means and criminal activities to get to the coins. But with no trading or Bitcoin connected job you can earn that much in your lifetime. Unless you are Trump.  Grin
4873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins? on: April 07, 2017, 01:37:27 PM
There are so many ways how much imagine, skills and possibilities you have. Some are looking only for legal but some also for illegal ways. You can always join some signature campaign, sell goods or your skills and knowledge for Bitcoins, you can trade, invest and gamble. If you are more prone to the dark side, you will join the darkmarkets.
4874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction is still unconfirmed after 48 hours on: April 07, 2017, 01:18:46 PM
Since you are using electrum based wallet this might be important because rules are different. For example Xapo has warning about longer period for confirmation for small transactions. I also think that with recommended fee you can't make mistake but with very low ones there could be issues sometimes.
4875  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: April 06, 2017, 06:10:26 PM
For the first time, when I look at the offers on LocalBitcoins.com, there are a half-dozen currencies ahead of the US dollar, offering a higher price for Bitcoin than US dollar users.

Euros, South African Rands, New Zealand Dollars, Hong Kong Dollars, Polish Zloty, Malaysian Ringgits.

It is no longer just the US, EU or even China driving adoption.  There is a market for Bitcoins in major countries all over the world.
This is a good sign that we see bitcoin is developing and being accept by almost all country in the world.it has a big chance to be a global currency now in this state if almost all country will adopt and use it Smiley
Well different nationalities uses bitcoin but the volume of users is not that big, bitcoin is a global currency in the sense that it has
given us a chance to transact fast regardless on what part of county you belong. We are all fair here since it's decentralized and we can fully achieve freedom as well.
I agree. The numbers of the bitcoin users are still just a few and it doesn't help that much in the price of bitcoin since the only big investors are still just a small part of the community. If we just continue spreading bitcoin then it will be easily increase the volume of the bitcoin users which can help for the market of bitcoin to grow up and be profitable for us. The features of bitcoin can easily attract investors or users because it is still fast and cheaper than other payment system.

That is true but the number of users doesn't influence on the fact whether Bitcoin is international currency or not. Since Bitcoin is already used all around the world and it's not thight in any way just to one nation and country, that makes it an iternational currency with no doubt. And that international "feature" is part of the great advantage comparing to some other currencies.
4876  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: April 06, 2017, 05:09:17 PM

Yes, it completely depends on people because many people still not believing on cryptocurrency. Even many countries governments are not supporting these cryptos currencies, but the government should understand they need to believe crypto currency.

Believing is an easy thing to do for the government since if they will conduct a deep research about the benefits and advantages of using cryptos, surely they will hooked. But why that is not the scenario in some countries? Because aside from the advantages that bitcoin can give, there are serious disadvantages too once bitcoin are being accepted. Plus the fact that bitcoin isn't much popular in the said country. And there is still more factors.

Look at how legality of bitcoin in Japan battled, it tooks many years. A support from the community is really a must.

No you are incorrect here buddy. Governments do not see it the way people see crypto. First of, most crypto are all decentralized. Hence, governments would want to have a certain level of control over the currency their citizens want to use. Second, it's hard for them to really comprehend it so far as it is very new and there are most likely a lot of fears to use it.

No, I think governments know what cryptocurrencies are all about but like  you've said the problem is that they are decentralized and governments and central banks would like to see centralized because of the control they want to have. But then the whole story would lose the meaning. And I think some governments are aware Bitcoin could be a source of their profit and that is why they are interested.
4877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be used to support terrorists? on: April 06, 2017, 02:20:26 PM
Not that it will be but it already has been used for supporting terrorism, unfortunately. Terrorist are also closely watching new technologies that could help them in their activities and Bitcoin was ideal because of the anonimity and it was hard to determine the source of funding. Unfortunately we can't escape Bitcoin beeing used for illegal stuff.
4878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New cryptocurrency launched in India on: April 06, 2017, 07:32:11 AM
Any new coins are appearing all the time, there are around 750 of them currently at the market. All of them are designed to make success but very few make it.
India is big courtney and very large potential market for cryptocurrencies but there are some governmental issues who could prevent that. Great potential but we'll see how it's going to end.
4879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are bitcoins more secure then Swiss bank? on: April 05, 2017, 07:16:51 PM
Yes bitcoin is far more secure than any bank's centralized network. Bitcoin is decentralized, it is encrypted, the one who have private key only have full control over that bitcoin address this all makes bitcoin more secure than swiss bank or any other banks.

Bitcoin server/network can never go down so you will always have access to your bitcoin.

That is not completely true because not a thing in the world isn't 100% secure and free of attacks and breaches. And so it's the case with Bitcoins too. So far we can't claim that Bitcoin network could never go down or be attacked and your coins lost. I never take anything just as it seems, there is always a danger.
4880  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we stop talking about the same shit? on: April 05, 2017, 05:01:34 PM
Ok, I could agree with you, there are too many topics about the same issues, often without much quality and repeating the same conclusions. So you have suggested to start some new converstation but you haven't suggested any new topic. So, why is then your thread better than any other here?
