Always do your own research (never completely rely on experiences of other users). - They have a lot of complaints against them (you could've avoided them by doing a 5 minute research).

One more thing is that,DT members block the accounts immediately after they tag. That is not good,tbh.
AFAIK, they (DT1/2) only ignore users that repeatedly make excuses through PM (if such DT member exist, I personally don't approve those tactics [ignoring after leaving a negative feedback]).
These look great (not sure up to what extent it eliminates the possibility of having such errors but I think you or someone that knows these stuff very well, should create a thread for other managers).
What methods it might be? I'm curious to know.

If you're going to use "common/repetitive questions" (like what you're doing at the moment), it sort of defeats its purpose.

No (it's not against the forum rules). It does actually and thanks to the merit system. The business for these types of people are getting harder and harder.
Would be nice to see/have merit requirements for Jr. members as well (then we'll see Newbie accounts for sale  ).

If you meant to use the"Report to moderator" function, then "NO": 18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged.
Why buy an account at the first place because of numbers of activities and posts count?
I guess it's some sort of a marketing gimmick. Is the forum not meant to be an educative platform?
It used to but majority of the newcomers, are here for the wrong reason.
I could provide a site for these accounts to be listed privately. Merit sources could then check the list before awarding any merits. This assumes that the accounts can be detected.

Those software bugs... should work again now. (it's still pretty much what "jhenfelipe" described the other day). I made some more improvements to the site. You'll now have some kind of price ticker in the top and the Market Cap + Circulating Supply of the selected Cryptocurrency on which the calculation is based, is now shown as well. Again, can't see those (check the " archived version" of your website). |

Due diligence needs to be taken whenever anyone is considering tagging anyone.
I agree and looking at it with a different angle, the tagging part isn't the only issue (they can also get kicked out of the campaign or get nothing in return [apparently, " a manager did that"]). For example, post history is normally a good indicator. People are their own downfalls to habits. We all have habits, and unique styles of writing.
There's also the possibility of doing time analysis to identify whether the alleged connected accounts timing links up together. It's not really same address = connected.
I agree with those as well but still not sure if it can apply to all of the cases (haters/scammers are getting creative [unfortunately]).
For example you have joined bounty with and eth address/Twitter/FB id. Then I am your hater, I like to tag you and I joined using your eth address/Twitter/FB id. It does not mean we are connected account. Both account basically will be disqualify from bounty. Specially it will happen by new account. Even I am your hater I will not use my ranked account. In these case no one will tag. But if same eth address/Twitter/FB id using by multiple bounty and continue campaign, got stake then it will consider connected account.
That's another issue that I just explained while responding to "Welsh".
This can happen and the only way to stop people from abusing bounties like this is that they need to post "Proof of authentication" - that they own that account and are not trying to impersonate them.
Unfortunately, that only solves the issue if the impersonator was going to use the same account/forum name (how about other methods [Twitter & FB ID/address]?). Still I have not seen such cases but would like to know how DT would handle them.

On this case "YES". I don't know much about the campaign manager but he/she at least tried to warn everyone (not sure when was the announcement but if it was just recently, then the way he/she manages the campaign is actually very bad). I am actually confident with tokensuite, but Kevin (admin) of the telegram group always actively answer all questions related to bounty hunter awards, even earlier he said that the distribution of tokens will still be done next week
"Naida_BR" has a point. It's not normal to see a CEO actively answer questions on a telegram group (there should be someone else for that): However, when there is only one admin answering (and this is the CEO of the project) something goes wrong. Better trust a group of people than a single individual.

Yes, the "throbber background image" doesn't go away for "some" of the images: - Here's an " archived page" with that issue. Update:I'll have to add some JavaScript to fix it, I suppose. In the interim you could give the images some alt text, which disables this.
Personally, I'm fine with how it looks so I think I'm going to stick with it (thank you for this addition, I really like it). |

which one should I trust?
I went over the bounty thread (quickly) and based on the signs, you should trust the campaign manager. I have asked the same question on the telegram group and they said that they met some minor problems with Tokensuite. The CEO (Kevin) is the only one who's replying to all the messages.
I see that as an "excuse" (it's almost on its 9th week and they call it a minor problem)  |

Recently, I've seen a lot of cases that falls under the category of "abuse" (when it comes to participants joining bounties [mostly, social campaigns]). I don't know much about its process (since I don't take part on such bounties) but from what I've seen, there's some room for error (unless I'm missing something):
Apart from connecting them with "sent/received transactions to similar addresses", how to accurately check for their connection (for the following case)?
- AFAIK, the process is automated (they simply fill the needed fields on the google form and apply [automatically added to the list]) so they don't have to post using real accounts and we can't "completely" check for connections between multiple accounts (unless I'm missing something [I'm a bit confused]).
Case #1
- A hater tries to damage someone else's reputation, by using the same address/twitter & FB ID/UID or forum name.
On a side note:
- I think I read somewhere about it (not so sure) but couldn't find it (if someone knows, please link/post it here).

In this case, you can register another banner advertising .
You can't just ask someone that paid you for their ads, to have another type of ad on that ad space (you have to list the types of ads that you allow/accept, prior to them purchasing the spaces). Not sure what made you do this (way too early), but I highly doubt that someone will buy the ad spaces (any) while you haven't even launched them. |

I was trying to sell it before, but no one has offered to buyso I decided to keep it for me and you can check that I have updated it today at 12 am or 1 am (Removed Ads,Improved the UI,etc...) and I decided to try another marketing strategies for it and of course it will always be for free!

I think the version we are using currently is too different from the original up to date version of SMF currently they have. Simply installing the new mods may create a total mess.
That's correct. The links I provided, only serve as a reference (that's why I posted the following): - Few of the suggestions, aren't compatible with the SMF version that we use (1.1.19) but I'm sure we can work something out.

Shouldn't be (it's meant for two different things + they're not located right next to each other): Like button = Post you like or agree with (no connection to ranking up). Merit button = High quality posts. Also, from looking at Youtube videos recently, it appears that people hit the like button indiscriminately to the point where I don't even look at how many likes a comment has.
You have a point and I also don't care about the number of likes and such but the issue is, these two things (merits & likes) should be separated (I do know that such things are subjective but I've seen many users that merit posts, simply because they agree with it).
I like #5.
If it works and people really use it, there might be no need for #6 as I think more merits will be given because of it.
But the issue isn't the lack of merits (it's the opposite). |
