4861  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yobit INVESTBOX on: May 21, 2017, 07:21:53 PM
If only Yobit exchanged established a good name throughout their entire operational years then maybe I can consider myself to be part of the new feature. That is a good one if it's really genuine and authenticate.

But with the horrible experience especially at their customer support, just an error or problem that will encountered by me will having a hard time before it will be answered. Definitely waste of time and not worth to give a good shot.

Big no.
4862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites earnings? on: May 21, 2017, 06:26:11 PM

We have two types of gambling one is skill games and another one is casino games. the skill gamblers winning percentage is higher than casino gamblers. And the slot games casino will make a huge profit because they have control of there games. But the sportsbook will depend on the game result. So according to me the slot games casinos will earn huge money to compare sportsbooks. Finally the casinos are always in profit side.

For earnings stats for both casinos and sportsbooks, I think they are just the same. We just realized that casino games can give more money to the owner since it's pure based luck and the games here are having fast results.

But if we look at the inside stuff of those sportsbooks, we don't have an access to their databases of bets so we can't say that they are far away from generating money for the owners compare to casinos. There are also lots of losses in sportsbooks especially with those high odds that is worth to bet ranging from @5 above which I think have a maximum average of bet around BTC1 based on my observation. And that is only a single game so how about if we will include on the others. And final point, they will not run continously if they found sportsbooking only giving an earnings that is not that much.
4863  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Signature Campaign effective for your business ? on: May 21, 2017, 05:12:39 PM

Yes, thank you. I'm fully aware how this campaign works and how both parties got profited.

but, let say this "A Grade" campaign manager paid a senior member 0.24$ for each post with 35 post cap per week. He open the slots for 20 member.
The same calculation applied for another level of members(member, full,jr,legendary, hero) with just a 0.03-0.05$ difference.

my rough estimation is about 1000$ per week.
Well it is a decent amount of sum to spent for a week of advertising.

With money that much, is the conversion rate better than other channels of advertising ? let's say with adsense campaign with a targeted segmentation ?

If the advertisement is about crypto related services then advertising it in a famous crypto forum will target more audience that have full knowledge about how crypto works rather than thru random sites or with adsense campaigns.

$1000 expenses per week is nothing compare to the amount owners can supposedly gained if the advertisement works. Although obviously have some risk, it's way better to deal the advertisement here in the forum than anything else.
4864  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are provably fair gambling sites really provable? on: May 21, 2017, 04:45:48 PM
If they change the hashed seed, than hashing it again to verify will return a different result than what the server gave you, so you know they cheated.

Most verifiers check to make sure that the legit hash was used.

How do the verifiers check the legit/original hash was used?

The hash is provided by the gambling service. They can just issue you a fake hash and provide you with a fake solution and you will never know right?

You have a point. I don't have technical analysis to share but for a thousands of professional online gamblers in the world including in the crypto world, Im pretty sure that it should, at least one of them can technically and professionally verified if a certain site has unusual shit doing around their verifier.

Also for a famous gambling site, at least in some majority of the cases, they will not ruin their reputation for that rigged hashes or something as running their operation continously will give them huge earnings than to shut down all the things and get all the money from the players.

4867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In terms of acceptance of bitcoins... on: May 21, 2017, 04:12:52 PM
in our world today, lots of people have accepted bitcoin and has been using it.
But the majority, still won't accept the concept of bitcoin and its usefulness and still prefer fiat money.
As how closed those other people's minds are right now, how much time do you think it would take for everyone to accept the concept of bitcoins??
Or is it just a childish dream and will never happen??

Just don't think of it too much and let it grow the normal way. Look at how it is today.

As you already stated, lots of people have accepted bitcoin and has been using it, meaning there is progress and development in terms of numbers of people using bitcoin. You will not noticed that in the first place if still only few using it depends on your observation. Overall, the growth is continous while time passes by.

Hi Directbet,

Why there is no option for Cleveland Cavaliers for NBA outrights

It was temporarily suspended. I turned it back on for you :

NBA Outrights

Didn't have a chance and now it's removed lol.

Since it's temporary I might just wait instead. Maybe prior to NBA finals it will be opened again since only 2 teams left obviously.
4869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you positive or negativeO? on: May 19, 2017, 07:24:14 PM
Im 2.6K USD positive overall gambling online... How much have you won or lost?

Amazed from what you did as most of the gamblers including me didn't know or any ideas how much we lost or gained from doing gambling for all-time.

But there is one thing Im sure. Since I become a regular sports bettor, my winnings are far more greater than my losing to the fact that Im applying my knowledge to the gambling type that I really known. In terms of dice game or any other gambling games that under with the house edge system, my losing stats outshined my winnings because of the reason we all know what is it.

Hey, I am wondering whether we have to create a different post for each week or we can use the same post we created in week 1?

Hi,

Just modify your first post and compile all your works there til the end. It's more less hassle than creating a new one.
4874  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: May 18, 2017, 08:11:47 PM

For any business you have to collect knowledge about that business before investing and you have to  visit market to know what people think about it, same in case of trading you have to know about the current position of crypto currency before investing your money.
Yes I agree that one must visit the market and collect some valuable data before any investment weather in the crypto currency or anything else but the most important step before investment is to gather a data that lead you to take a decision of investment in a profitable place. If anyone doesn’t do it then must get him ready for the consequences. As I have seen many of the blind investors crying after their capital investment.

Is their any person that wants to make some business but doesn't have enough knowledge on it? That is ridiculous.

Before anything else, whether for online or real life business, it's a must that a person will study first everything about the business or investment they will entered. It's a mandatory and a common protocol for those person involved. Can't believe that other person just want to deal with a business in which they are lack of preparation. No wonder sometimes they are encountering risk which they didn't expected and no further plan to play with it.

Hi Directbet,

Why there is no option for Cleveland Cavaliers for NBA outrights since the beginning of the playoffs (or I think even before the season ends). Thinking you just remove it, I just checked it again today and still no option for the Cavaliers but other betting site have.

Thanks.
4876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 18, 2017, 07:03:37 PM

Boston is currently holding the advantage for being the top seed on the east that's why I don't see boston as an underdog on this game even though cavs are overpower. Boston still have chance to win once isiah thomas break the chain of his guard. He just need to focus and find some space to attack. A sweep game is not entertaining especially for conference finals game.

Just accept the reality mate. Boston Celtics eventhough they hold the top seed of the East doesn't mean they are prone for being an underdog here against the Cavaliers. Im agree to the above poster that I don't see any way for Celtics to win. Honestly, I doubt Celtics can sweep Indiana Pacers and Toronto Raptors but Cavaliers did. What chain are you talking about Isiah Thomas? The team is not always about focusing on the main player.

Remember CAVS vs SAS finals game? I can compare it to the current Eastern Conference Finals.

It may not be entertaining but it's the cold reality. The Cavs are miles better than the Celtics, they proved that in the last encounter of the season (the Cavs won by almost a 30 point margin) and they proved it again yesterday, they are on another level completely. Lebron is also toying with his defenders, it's not even funny. Even with a poor 3pt shooting performance (besides Kevin Love and Frye when he entered the game) the Cavs completely obliterated the Celtics at home. I think the second game will be a little different though but I'll still give the Cavs the advantage and an rather easy win. Then they will most like close out the series at the Q and wait for the West finalist. Now that's another story, I feel that if the Spurs can get Leonard back they have a real chance of tying the series.

Hands off. Agreed at both points. No matter what optimitism Celtics fans will have, chances for them to advance is quite having a low chance. As stated above, Pacers and Raptors can considered as dominant team. If matched by Celtics, I don't see any sweep series here but a close game. And on another side, if Wizards faced the Cavs, I see a sweep series here by the Cavs. See the comparison?

But great job to this Celtics team as this was their rebuilding phase after those Celtics oldies left. It's a great achievement and also a good experience. There are still more years to them and they can come back anytime to take the stage.
4877  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best cellphone wallets on: May 18, 2017, 06:27:28 PM
hi could I get some recommendations for best cellphone wallets and why?  Thanks!

At first, I preferred Mycelium because back in the day I started bitcoin, this is so far one of most popular mobile wallet for Android OS. Plus the fact that Im learning some sign message thing back then which is possible on this wallet that's why I encountered this wallet (Thanks to shorena).

My main wallet for my Android OS now is Electrum Wallet. It established a good name as a desktop wallet so what's more as a mobile wallet. Your's to evaluate why I preferred this wallet.

4879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: May 18, 2017, 05:24:32 PM
Do you gamble at land based casinos?
Yes twice a month i go with my boss from freelance he always invite me or join him in the table sometimes and if i win he just gave me 200$ as a tip or maybe more depends on how much profit i get from my opponent and from him also.

He gives you tips if you win?

Why not when you lose, it would make more sense  Cheesy

The message is clear and just need a little bit of common sense for that to understand. Smiley No need to go further.

Anyways, that kind of act is common here, as far as physical casinos based here are concerned, as part of compensation for the one who accompanied the gambler at the table. There are also different reasons behind that tip like it's a luck, rewards, or just a person really knows how to play that gambling but without funds to gamble.
4880  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is there any wallet which is free for transactions on: May 18, 2017, 04:56:34 PM
I think after XAPO, there is no existing web wallets now that covers the cost of every transactions. If does, then Im bumping this thread to also know it because as far as my idea is concerned, there is none left with that kind of service/s.

But still, nithing changed to the internal bitcoin transactions between Xapo accounts as they are noot subject to processing fees. Also same with Coinbase and to our local online wallet, coins.ph.
