4861  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How binary options brokers make money - any idea? on: January 22, 2020, 10:44:32 PM
Hi Folks,

I have been seeing a load of advertising videos of binary option brokers like OlympTrade, Binomo, iq Option, Etoro etc. while playing my favorite mobile games. These platforms offer binary trading options which is mainly an one minute contract where the trader needs to forecast if the price is going up or down within that time frame. If your forecast is correct, you will earn 80 - 100% profit and if it is wrong, then you will loose your investment.

So I have tried few of them last night with demo money to understand more about this. One thing I fail to understand is that how they make money because these platforms don't take trading fees. Also you can't see the orders placed by the other players in the market. So it doesn't really functions like a trading exchange.

Do you guys have any further insights on it?
I cant see any brokers or platforms that do give out 100% profit. Most of them do really get commission on every trade or bet you do made.
Either Call or Put and if you lost a certain position then its normal for them to get the money but if you won then usually it ranges on 80-85%.
BO is somewhat like a gamble but if you do know how to scalp or short trade on small timeframes then this one is good for you.
4862  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Two Exchanges in 2019 lost over $70,000,000 on: January 21, 2020, 08:23:31 PM
One of the reasons that leads to hack the platforms is the developed team. In many cases, the team either steals money to declare bankruptcy or one of the individuals cheated the rest of the individuals.

It is the weakness of the laws, legislations, and controls imposed by governments that encourage such behavior, so I think it is more economical than technology.
Well said because even how tight the security is, if one of the personnel or part of the team tend to do shady acts then its useless.

We already seen big hacks but it do always end up on having the same reason which their security had been compromised. We saw some different
scenario just like what happened on quadrigacx.
4863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 21, 2020, 06:48:34 PM
Yeah, i thought AD wasnt there if you do look at on Lakers rotations and paint offense which do really have that hesitance.
When you do look on Lakers which they arent really on their condition to play or Celtics were just good on that game?
You can really see the gap until the end of the game.
Yeah as if there was a new man on the team and they are finding ways on how to cope on everybody's playstyle. Remember what injury Davis had? I barely remember that. Or this could be just a bad game for them. No excuse, there's no coming from their shots, literally just a bad game.

They really have that hole in the center and looking on Enes Kanter performance which cant really be stopped plus main liners of Celtics
is doing pretty well ,Tatum+ Walker+ Brown. Injuries do really have that kind of psychological fatigue that can heavily affect your play
and that what makes the game so hard to control.
4864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 give new hope to Altcoin? on: January 21, 2020, 05:28:49 PM
The altcoins which have a huge potential will be considered by the majority of the investors. The low marketcap will not be a case for small altcoin investors and the top altcoins will get high interest.

The top coins are still in the hands of Bitcoin and will not change this year in my opinion, so if you are looking for something safe you should buy Bitcoin and hold it for quite a long time.
Nothing is certain when we do talk about future and saying about "safe" wont really fit out even if we do talk about Bitcoin.
Market is always been like this where we cant predict nor say on what would be the fate or situation of alts in the market.
Its neither it would tie or correlate with Bitcoins price or would go to the opposite way.We have seen the dominance is gradually
going on one side which is on bitcoin and this already signifies danger on the altcoin market but still we saw top ranking alts
do sustain somehow.
4865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 21, 2020, 04:33:28 PM
Well it's been a great night everyone. Damian Lillard got 61 career high points. We didn't saw that coming. And don't tell me that they're just up against the warriors that's why he got that. No man, the team was blank because of how many key players that went injured and that includes CJ McCollum.

Next stop, it's the Celtics vs Lakers. 107-139, AD is back yet I guess not fully or probably they just underperformed that game. AD ends the game with just 9 and didn't shot a lot. With them underperforming, the other side of the court, the Celtics are just money on everything. Tatum was 5/8 beyond the arc and scored 27 points to bring the W. If you can see, none of the Lakers got past 20 scores and the Celtics have 3 of them. What's significant in this game was Kemba is 1-28 now against LeBron James. Since then he never get to pull of the w against the team where LBJ was in.
Yeah, i thought AD wasnt there if you do look at on Lakers rotations and paint offense which do really have that hesitance.
When you do look on Lakers which they arent really on their condition to play or Celtics were just good on that game?
You can really see the gap until the end of the game.
4866  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My personal challenge: $1,000 to $1 Million on: January 21, 2020, 02:51:43 PM
Nothing is impossible in crypto, I hope you success OP.
$1,000 to $1 Million is a very ambitious journey, but if it's achievable in long term hold, it could also be possible through active trading.

Good luck, x1,000 of your capital is quite hard to achieve now that we are not anymore in the early stage but your dedication will make it possible.
Everything is possible but its almost impossible to reach it up on short time and as mentioned we arent already on early stage where
reaching these numbers isnt really that realistic.Frankly speaking it would really come to a time where you do get bored without even
reaching your goal.Well, this will vary or depend on ones dedication if he would pursue or not.
$1k to $1M? Its almost an impossible journey.
4867  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are we going to have a profitable bounty hunting in 2020? on: January 17, 2020, 11:42:53 PM
Last year was not a profitable year for bounty hunters because too many scam projects are released and many bounty hunters still lack the research intelligence that's why they fall victim, i managed to make good profits in few bounties though, this year should be different if you know what you are doing

Most of the people have realized that they cannot just make money by starting a bad project as no one these days invest money in ICO. I hope only good projects will be developed and their bounties will be of some worth. If we have some good projects, suddenly the bounty hunting can become profitable again and people will change their mind about them.
It hard to believe for this thing to happen again. We arent focusing or do able to see about ICO funding nowadays but rather people
are aiming to join up on IEO's but well there are still few projects but not as the same on previous years and there are still a few
that can be selected but rewards arent really that big thats why there are still who do take a shot on doing bounties in spite of the current
condition.
4868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: January 17, 2020, 11:05:30 PM
I think that most people don't get into gambling because of this reason.

Most gamblers acknowledge the fact that in the long run, gambling is likely going to cost them a lot in terms of being a guaranteed -EV way to spend their funds. They know this full well, yet they still go into the casino time and time again being addicted to the games. Anecdotally, this is true as well given what I've heard from avrious chat rooms.

What does this tell us? Gambling could be not financially driven, but rather, have a similar effect on the brain as drugs. You need your hit, no matter win or lose.
Then how you do consider those people who do bet for likes of Lotteries? These people can be consider on playing gambling to change up their lives by hitting up the jackpot.
I have seen lots of people here on my country do really have that kind of behavior where they do heavily purchasing or buying lotto tickets because of that reason but for
casinos and other gambling place. This kind of reasoning isnt really that rampant. They do hope for winning but they dont mind too much to changed up their lives.

4870  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-01-15] BTC Dev Since 2012, Tamas Blummer Dies After 3Y Battle With Cancer on: January 17, 2020, 08:37:54 PM
It's quite shocking that I'm just hearing this news for the first time about his cancer yet you'll see that he was even active with his social media last two weeks ago as if he doesn't have any kind of sickness whatsoever. Even if you checked news before his death if he was admitted to a hospital or something you literally wouldn't see anything before this was, he maybe keep his cancer as a secret which I don't know the reason why. His last tweet was even for Bitcoin and I think that is what he wants us to remember him, a developer who have helped Bitcoin and its community.

Not all people would really be that too open when it comes to their health conditions.Majority would really to hide it out on the public.
Sad to hear up this news which one of the old BTC Devs already passed away due to cancer and 3 year battling with this sickness
isnt really that simple but well, life goes on and surely his contribution wont easily be forgotten specially by Bitcoin community.

4872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BSV a bubble ? on: January 17, 2020, 07:36:48 PM
The reason why BSV was capable of "going so high" which it actually didn't was that there are so few places that lists BSV, which means there is no volume for it, which means if you spend even just a few thousand dollars you can change the price of it.
oh really ? that was interesting to hear  . thanks for such info  but not just that , i hear also that bsv is backed by some popular personalities on the crypto space  . i think that was also the reason for its sudden pump because those big guys can use thier power or wealth to manipulate the coin according to thier taste   .  overall , i still think that this bsv is still a bubble and will going to burst soon   . that is why i dont get overwhelmed after the release of this coin .
Really? How about checking on the markets where BSV is traded: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-sv/markets/

Bubble or not, then it isnt surprising to have these kind of gains even the shitiest coin out there would do the same when the entire
market is hyping then these situations are just common.
4873  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHICH CRYPTO MOBILE APPS DO YOU USE? on: January 16, 2020, 09:20:25 PM
Hey traders! I'm curious which apps do you use and why?
Is it safer to trade via pc/mobile/no difference?
Thank you
I am trading on Binance and i also use their mobile app. It is more stable than using web version and the layout doesn't break when i try to zoom the chart.

Advantages when using an app where it doesnt really breaks out or do give you the hassle on zooming in and zooming out.
Im using Binance app too and when i do check out prices or my ports then i do make use of Blockfolio
and same goes for tradingview.

4875  Economy / Speculation / Re: Craig Wright's Court Battle - Bitcoin on: January 16, 2020, 07:58:00 PM
Do you think that bitcoin price was affected about this court? Or it was just a coincidence that bitcoin priced approximately 8% just at the same day of that court.

bitcoin is rising most of the times and if you look around each time it makes a rise you can always find some coincidence around that you can link it to the rise. last week people were getting excited about Middle East war and were claiming the rise was because of that, as soon as that ended price still went up. and as soon as this bullshit with scammers end price will still go up.
Nothing surprises me if community do really behave like that.If theres something or news then they can easily tagged it up together with the sudden rise of price.

Im already tired on any news thats related to Craig - its all non-sense or simply just doesnt worth to read on.All of these dramas doesnt really have an ending but just
purely trying to stir up communities minds that hes forcing something which doesnt really belongs to him.

All things are just pure coincidence when it comes to price movement. It has nothing to do into these sentiments neither CW or that Iran war.
4876  Economy / Gambling / Re: Binary Options (Financial Betting) Crypto Trading & No Deposit Bonuses in 2020 on: January 16, 2020, 07:36:35 PM
Don't do binary options. Please don't!

They are a scam! I think that has been well documented on the web by now.

I guess some people just don't care. I don't understand how you don't care if your screwing someone over though.
Not generally but most of them are shady when we do talk about brokers but when it comes to BO i do only trust;

Binary.com
Tradersway.com
IQoptions

I have used this platforms and i dont have any problems with it.When it comes to BO talks then this is indeed somewhat like gambling
if you do just blindly presume on where price would go.
4877  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-01-16] Chainalysis traced $2.8 billion crime bitcoin sent to Binance Huobi on: January 16, 2020, 07:41:15 AM
Nothing new and non a surprising thing for exchangers to be tagged up with money laundering or any other illegal
transactions towards those coins being sent out on the platforms. Exchanges, mixers or even gambling sites are
always open to be used as a medium.

Throwing their client under the bus and making themselves look bad. Good work, Chainalysis. Roll Eyes
Thats what you called excellent service.  Cool
4878  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Generating Bitcoin on the side? on: January 16, 2020, 06:34:24 AM
Hi guys! I am new to this forum and overwhelmed with the information on here. I wanted to know what you guys would advise me to look into to get me started.

The real drive behind this is to be able to use the bitcoin for gambling purposes. I feel much safer and better when i gamble with bitcoin as oppose to money. I also feel much more secure. Despite it being difficult to really gage the value when gambling I still prefer to buy bitcoin and use it to deposit.

I have looked into may different websites that claim to use your pc to gather bitcoin,  in return for a small %. I am not sure but this doesnt seem very legit to me. Would it be more worth for me to invest in my own set up?

What site you are talking into? If this one do tell you to mine using up your pc then its a scam. Mining btc out of your pc isnt already feasible nowadays
and mining it would really require and specific machine (asic).

If it looks not legit to you then it actually is.If you do plan to mine because of your interest with btc then you can try to visit out bitmain site for purchasing
but remember these things arent cheap. Its better to buy directly bitcoin into exchangers and store it for long term or spend a little for your gambling needs.
4879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Website that will tell you how rich you really are? on: January 15, 2020, 11:49:57 PM
Hi community members,
please do you know about some website where you put how many coins do you have and it will show at what number of richest addresses you belong? For top altcoins and Bitcoin? I mean for example you have 10 Ethereum and it will tell you that you are the 1000th richest person/address in the network.  Wink

Simple google search might do the trick
https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-rich-list-top500/

https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-ethereum-addresses.html

Explorers doesnt show up top addresses though.

Thats correct and i think the reason why they achieved the current milestone was because of their honesty (in terms of fulfill promise made to their players), promotions (promo/advertisement) and fast withdraw (which gamblers like the most).
With my calculations, i believe the 300M milestone will be achieve in by 24th of this months.
When we do talk about success on a particular site then it would majorly talks about good in all aspects from platform UI to fast withdrawals.
Marketing does really play a major role on its success and this isnt a typical generic dice game that we have seen and i do believe that
this is one of the main reason. When this site is still starting up you can really have that impression that this is a good one and i was right.!
