4861  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bounce back to 60k in this year? on: March 19, 2022, 07:08:21 PM
Anything is possible but given the economy of the world due to the war that is happening then add the new Covid variant, I think that a bull will not be an easy thing to happen. World events do effect the demand and if people are starving who would even think about investing their money in Bitcoin.
All I could see is businessmen who will take advantage of this and we are not sure if Bitcoin is in the corner of their mind to invest with.
$60k is possible, I am not losing hope about that, but assurance that it will be this year is blurry.

And that is the keyword, blurry or the chance are very slim. We have somewhat pushed the boundaries already, we've reach all time high last year and we have top the price.

So we could assumed by now that there will be no bull run or at least the price hitting $60k because it will take enormous money. And since the world is at war, investors are somewhat reluctant and will wait till everything has settled down.
4862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos invest on endorsement from celebrities on: March 19, 2022, 06:35:19 PM
Should casinos invest in the endorsement of celebrities just like what Stakes is doing or it's better to just stick with giveaways contests and maintain their reputation, we know we all know the high cost of celebrity endorsement should other casinos follow Stake's lead to partner or pay celebrities to promote them.
It depends upon the advertising budget they are having, there is nothing wrong in getting endorsed by celebrities as there is a lot of celebrities that gamble hard and these sort of advertisement would increase their user base among celebrities and Stake is not slowing down in giving away to their dedicated followers who gamble and i did not see any drop in that aspect.

I think budget is not in question here, Stake has been in the game for so long, they have survived so for sure they have a lot of money and that they can pay celebrity endorser.

It's that who is the endorser that they are going to get on board to be the face of the company?

Is Drake the right person to represent them? From what industry? Music or just entertainment as Drake works from that industry. Is Stake trying to lure personalities from that sector?
4863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its not official btc bull run now on: March 19, 2022, 06:14:48 PM
Lol, the first time I heard about official and unofficial Bitcoin bull run. Bitcoin itself is an unofficial cryptocurrency that means decentralized, how there would be an official bull run? Anyway, the Bitcoin movement is positive but I can't say it's really bull run. At least need to break the $50K zone to say it's a bull run. Because it's still too away from the last ATH. Still, there is no potential news or something else to see a bull move of Bitcoin.

Yeah, we know when we see a bull run, and this is not, on the contrary this could be another trap for investors. We have this kind of movement before, and then when he hit $43k, the price stagnated and then in 2 days it when down below $40k again. So I'm seeing the same trap again being laid out here, so just be cautious because this is not a bull run, unless we see $50k but I doubt that it will happen.

4865  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $40000 resistance on: March 18, 2022, 08:39:46 PM
~
The reason for saying 34-39k is me wanting to cover longer duration of the movement and to lighten the burden of feeling too late. Because if I were to give it straight it would guve him that feeling I just mentioned. Also, I was considering the  current situation of the market. Which is quite bullish, but most buyers in ky opinion are retailers. Regardless, I do not think we'd be going below 37k anymore unless some major macro economic problems happen.

I can see your point, we don't want a sudden spike in the price because what follows is an ugly downward spiral. What we wanted to see is the price going around in the middle right now, sort of the market doesn't know where to go. Because it could be beneficial in the long run as it could make a break out run that will favor us. Besides this year is very early, a lot of good or even bad things can happen around that can affect the price in either direction. As you touch base the retailers, yes, they are the most important factors as to where the price will go, not the whales or institutions.
4866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: March 18, 2022, 08:10:09 PM
GGG admit that he had sparred Murata in the pass,

Quote
"It did take place but that was a long time ago. It was not the pure sparring approach that he came to spar me. I learned during those sessions that Murata is a very serious fighter with a high boxing IQ," Golovkin said.

https://www.boxingscene.com/golovkin-sparring-i-learned-murata-very-serious-fighter-high-boxing-iq--164844

So he knows what he is up against, a serious fighter in Murata and he would have to travelled to his home town and beat him. So this is a very dangerous fight for GGG.

Oh really, they did that in the past? That's good because even it was just a friendly spar, they could already tell each others capabilities just like how GGG felt about Murata. I only know that Murata was always looking up on GGG and something he said that it's been an honor to get a fight with GGG. Nonetheless, the number still cannot lie and we definitely know that GGG has the advantage even if he's much older now.

At least they know each other and I hope that respect will remain.

Both of them are respectful fighters, so no doubt that it will remain. Only time I've seen GGG lost his cool and temper is against Alvarez.

GGG knowing how serious Murata is will only make him train harder to prove to the world that his time in boxing is not yet over. As I have read in the article, after this fight, if GGG wins, he will get a chance to have a trilogy with Canelo, so that should be enough already to inspire him to ensure a win.

But it was a long time ago, maybe the power of Murata has change, or maybe the language barrier was the issue that's why Murata seems to be serious in sparring. So we will wait, that fight is getting closer and once GGG win, he has done his part, it's time for Canelo to win his fight and set up the final match between the two of them.
4867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 18, 2022, 07:40:52 PM
That is really a good news to hear that it was just a sprained injury and nothing more serious.

And then we have this noise that Marcus Smart was a dirty player on what he did against Steph and then the kick on Klay Thompson. Steve Kerr is very vocal about it and there was a talk between the two during the game and you can see Smart' shaking his head as if saying that he didn't do it intentionally on Steph.

For now let's give him the benefit of the doubt, he is a tough defender and according to him he is just chasing the ball when that unfortunate thing happen.

Same with the Thompson case, it was a good fake by Klay, smart bite into it, but maybe he wanted to stop Klay and his foot might be his last defense.
4868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 18, 2022, 07:22:45 PM
I have 2 early bets that are sealed.
Brooklyn Nets vs Portland Trail Blazers - Nets -14.5
Atlanta Hawks vs Memphis Grizzlies - Grizzlies -5.5. According to injury reports, Ja Morant may play this one.
Good luck everyone.

I will follow you on those bets that you've sealed earlier.

The Brooklyn Nets will definitely dominate the Blazers here, they still need to win some more games to increase their chance in climbing the 6th spot. I have no doubt on that even if Irving can't play and the spread will be covered definitely, this time it's Nets -13 and I'll also add Nuggets -2.5 vs Cavaliers. GL! Grin

Yeah, when I check the odds I'm thinking that it is huge, but seeing how the Blazers have been losing games in their last 4 games, it was like 20 plus points and with Durant in the line up for Nets they could cover this easily.

But I'm more interested on the Grizzlies vs Hawks, same bet with you, Grizzlies proven that they can win games without Morant and still covered the spread.
4869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Hoard Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2022, 12:17:34 PM
If Bitcoin is a better and higher currency than fiat, why then do bitcoiners hurdle it?
I think money is best used for buying and selling not hoarding, we get to see the value more when using it.
This my thoughts, wby?

Really up to the individual, he/she can spend the bitcoin they had to whatever purpose it might served them.

But there are individuals who just want to save it and be a holder for long term. Because bitcoin's history tells us that it will grow overtime and your money is safe + it will multiply as well. So it becomes a store of value, and obviously we have speculators and traders as well who trade it just like an asset.

4871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 17, 2022, 08:15:41 PM
I watched a great game. Nets stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving made league history in the Nets-Magic match. The Nets stars became the first teammates to score over 50 points in consecutive matches. I think the duo will continue their outstanding performance in other matches as well.

But you have to see that Kyrie is not going to play a game in their homecourt because of his anti-vaxx stance. So they won't play together in the games left in the regular games and as far I can remember there are only 3 games left for Kyrie to play. It was really down to wire finished against the Mavs though, it seems that Spencer now is a perfect fit or complement to Luka, and Brunson too playing very well, but he will be a free agent and for sure Mavs may want him to stay.

He had a lot of problems because of the opposition to vaccination, I wish he didn't have such a thought. We've seen a lot of negative news, both with teammates and with the media.
Too bad he's only going to play 3 more games, the Nets really need this player. He won't be able to help the team in the games they need the most, I hope they can win the rest of the games

That's his decision though, and the Nets have accepted it up to now. But we don't know what will the future bring for them, if he will have to be traded or not because he is being paid to help the team but currently there is none except for games that he can play and then can't be like this till next season. Durant need someone to back him up specially if they wanted to bring a championship to the Nets franchise.
4872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 17, 2022, 07:55:04 PM
^^ I already take the risk on this one, Pistons ML, so let's see how it goes.

As for the risk on the Lakers, I will stir away from it, then can't even cover +17.5 against the Wolves and that is the odds that I've seen during live gaming. And you think that they have the ability to make a comeback and can cover that at least. But with Westbrook missing a lot of shots and with air ball, there is no comeback to at least make the score close.
4873  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: March 17, 2022, 06:22:59 PM

After paying a high fee on ETH Smiley, we sometimes feel bad. But I'm curious as to why this is.

With this, I'm able to express my feelings.

It looks like you are late though, there's a lot of complains about ETH's high gas fees,

Maybe you can go find the answers on that thread. And perhaps you can also learn what will be the best alternative right now so that you won't spend such high gas fees with ETH network.
4875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 15, 2022, 10:51:46 AM
I think Golden State will grab another championship, Suns is good actually but I think there is something missing in there team. Lakers will surely not win another championship knowing that the team composition is not that good, also AD is injured and LeBron do all the lifting, Westbrook does not fit in their team, Caruso is the better point guard. I think Bucks vs Golden State in the finals. But let see if Suns will not choke.
Chris Paul is the missing piece and he is injured. Better now than be like what happened with Rockets where he is hurt before the playoffs. Just when they needed them the most.
They are secured now on the top spot so there would be no reason to force every game for a win.
They can relax now and just wait for CP3 to comeback. I am a Nuggets fan but I think it will be Suns this year. But who knows, unexpected things suddenly happens.
Don't forget about the GSW, they are also showing some toughness and I believe they have a shot to be in the NBA Finals this season. They are not new to this kind of situation as they have won championships before, so I wouldn't be surprise if they will make it.

Chances are high for the GSW to be in the finals this year specially if they keep healthy, they are deep and even the second stringers are tough and can score and play defense.

Curry, Thompson and Jordan Poole are a threat outside, they should be could Splash Triplets now, hehehe. There rookie is also playing good so the fight for the West is going to be close with Suns, Memphis and Utah.
4876  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc ath february 2022 on: March 15, 2022, 10:19:05 AM
I think the increase in bitcoin prices since the beginning of February is a positive thing, especially the current momentum of bitcoin price increases by investors to re-enter the market and buy bitcoin in the short term to cover the losses of the previous few months. Therefore, we hope that by the end of this month the crypto price can continue to strengthen, at least it can rise back to the range of $50k.

Lol, the increase was just temporary, we didn't even get over $50k in February, what's more as the OP said $100k. So I guess don't put too much emphasize on a new all time high this year as this could be the start of a bear market. And when bear market comes, it's hard and difficult and it last 2-3 years long, just saying.
4877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to go in crypto lets leave fiat cutrency on: March 14, 2022, 08:39:37 PM
Im ready lets go but also assets prices need to reset and then again slowly to gain value of prices.
So we buy  house with. 10 doge coins so its equal to 500k yes there will be more people who against this they might say its not fair ...but we dont care life is not fair.
Im ready to go full in crypto and im sure all u are ready to get all the assets in the world for crypto.

As war situation fiat curremcy might not used anyways for sometime in some european countries to get properties with btc

Just to clarify, the war is in EU though, so maybe there is some impact on other countries, but I don't think that majority will go full crypto because of it.

Maybe there are some individuals who are already 100% in crypto specially bagholders who have witnessed how the market from the beginning and how it involves, but for the majority of us who has been in the game for like 5 years or less, they could be still in the fiat because it is readily available.
4878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Its Possible ALT Coin Chased Previous ATH in 2022 on: March 14, 2022, 08:07:23 PM
Gys Is Its Possible ALT coins Hit Previous ATH in the 2022

I will just say that the chance are very slim for at least the top altcoins in the market to hit their previous or surpasses their all time high. The cycle is different right now, and majority thinks that we are in a bear market.

But for meme and shit coins, it's possible through by way of "pump and dump" scheme.
4879  Economy / Economics / Re: Anonymous hacker's group fight against Russia on: March 14, 2022, 06:53:21 PM
NEVER put too much importance on Anonymous. They are great against people like you and me. They can hack me and get all my information out, they are good at that. But when it comes to getting data about the important people of the world, officials, and use it to help us? They are nowhere to be found and help nobody. I mean They attacked so many big names and did absolutely nothing about it.

So, all they are good about is attacking the vulnerable. At this point, I believe that they are the bad people, they pose as they are good people when they talk and say bad things about corrupted officials but I never saw them actually "do" something to them.

They have been portrayed as the bad people for many years, and i think they are the one of the first group to really make a name in this cyber war, even defacing many vulnerable government around the world. Even our country was attack many years ago by writing of some of our government's website. But recently they have chance there stance (at least that's what they are portraying now), but we all know that Russia has it's own cyber team so it's going to be a war between them and the Russians "hackers" as well.
4880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 14, 2022, 10:52:50 AM

As for me, I lost the bet because spread was -3.5 for me and the Nets haven't covered it well, I'm just a point shy from that bet though Grin

Things like that happen, better luck next time, maybe you'll get it right. Nets spread was really tempting, but it turns out a trap for those who took the point spread. Well, maybe next time they'll cover if Irving would play as we can see Durant alone cannot make his team dominate their opponent.

I don't think it's a trap, it that point spread is double digit, then yeah it could be. But -3.5 is really doable. It's that the break of the game didn't favor for the Nets to win big.

Durant has a big game, but the Knicks keeps the game alive and very close up to the final seconds. There is no garbage time, but we can go back to the next game and win.

I even have -5.5 handicap for the Nets, didn't watch the game as it is too early for my Time Zone. And then I was quite surprised to see the that Nets won but by just 3 points. Spoil the day for me.

But no worries, congrats for those who bet on the money line for them.

Lot of good games tomorrow, like the Sixers vs Nuggets and Jazz vs Bucks, very hard to predict those games though.
