4881  Economy / Speculation / Re: The next bull market on: January 20, 2015, 04:57:33 PM
The entire 'crash' of inexplicable selling (in a sea of positive fundamentals) has been major players manipulating the market to buy up as many coins as possible for the next bull run.

This is a solid fact people are overlooking. The entire price drop (for the past few weeks) looks staged.

4882  Economy / Speculation / Re: Apple paid $3.2billion for Beats on: January 20, 2015, 04:52:30 PM
With monthly conferences and daily VC investments, is the entire money base of the Bitcoin economy seriously worth less than what Apple paid for some headphones?

yep, currently this is true. But soon it should outpace all this. I give it max 8 months.

Told ya. Tongue

Your payout probably was a double spent due to a double spend attack by one of the players. He made a profit out of you.

I posted this way before:

To ensure safety of your funds, please play at a site that accepts only 1 confirmation (or more).

Suggestions: Add 7 days more to the timer of week #2. And get rid of 24 hour one.
Else, the weekly one will be dead in 2 days.)

Anyone against this? Why so?

4889  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Noticing a [Ponzi] Pattern..... on: January 18, 2015, 03:57:42 AM
Well as the subject entitles, I am seeing a Ponzi Pattern within the past couple weeks, along with there being what 20+ ponzi games in this section??? I've noticed that ALL of them, they don't have clear english and they have a lot of typos and their english is legit broken. I was reading a ponzi's site just about 10 minutes ago and it said this:
"100% transparent we make public our entire ledger so everyone can see that's happening."
So it leads me to believe, and many people may have already had the same guess, is that these Ponzi games that are popping up so much lately are most likely from China, Russia, Japan, Germany, those areas.
Correct me if I am wrong, but it just seems like all of these makers have amazingly broken english lol

The conclusion is really weird, lol. How did you pick 4 countries out of so many? Anyone could easily pretend he is not good at English.

WHy is it called Ponzihosting ?
That's exactly what I was coming to ask as well.  Cheesy

Because only ponzis are allowed to host there??

A suggestion to OP. Since the site was dead for most of the time now, please consider increasing the time frame to 14 days for this one alone.

And please do not run two simultaneous ones, etc.

It's 100% safe - I'm using a set of distributed wallets.

Balance is actually 0.102 BTC

Thanks

100% safe? Why don't you be a little honest, and say 1% safe or something?

I think the OP is using some of his Own funds to pay people. The last few payouts have put his wallet NEG. The only way this should be happening at least that I could figure out why is if he is paying people with his own BTC. Does anyone else have any ideas?

That is a funny interpretation.

It becomes negative when the wallet balance > next payout amount. Payouts are done every minuite or so, ie. if more deposits come, it will be negative. It wil become positive, after the payout has been made.

OP had answered this question, somewhere in this thread.

Nicely designed website

However I am confused. It says 0.268BTC required until next payout but the total depositted was 178BTC.

How does this work exactly?

I don't think you understand what a ponzi is?

178 has been deposited, and the first 120 or so, have been paid out 130%.

But, honestly, I think you will get payout since only a few hours of a week are over and the last week the volume was around 700 at the end.

Who is depositing so much in ponzis? 178BTC ? $39173.82 ?

and it is not even 5 hours from start.  Undecided
