4884  Other / Meta / Re: SebastianJu getting seduced by trust farmers - and he's loving it! on: August 03, 2015, 10:45:53 PM
to be honest i do not think that it is a good idea to give trust as a escrow.

the partys using the escrow should give the escrow positive or negative trust.

the trust system here has quite a broad definition and i think the best way to give positive trust is if you risked x amount of money to someone and dont get scammed by that person.

the trust of someone who has nothing to lose is quite worthless in my opinion especially here where you can trade accounts and trust.
4885  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Turkey resumes genocidal campaign, massacres 260 Kurds in aerial bombing on: August 03, 2015, 08:59:21 PM
Quote from: Sithara007
The Turks are the masters in conducting genocides without attracting international attention. If you have any doubt, then just ask the Armenians, Greeks, and the Assyrians. And there can be no better way to help the Islamic state, than bombing the Kurdish villages and killing the women and children when the men are away fighting the ISIS.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about?

When it comes to Armenians, yes, Turkey stands for a wholesale genocide of this people. I know several families whose ancestors were almost completely wiped out by Turks. Oh, and is it a surprise that a UN resolution that would have acknowledged the genocide of Armenians was voted down, by the usual culprits.

If Kurds want their own land, if they don't want to be a part of Turkey, then they should separate. Peacefully. As per the UN charter on self-determination of peoples.

you know that turkey will never allow it and the west needs turkey much more then the kurds.
right now there is support because the kurds are basically the only force on ground to fight isis.

the west doesnt want to send troops i think that should be pretty clear already.

its all ok.
50k for a lion.
5 million or less for a human or his body parts

this is what happens when you lose respect for life and are praying to money as your god.

Fatwa Ruling the Conversion as Fabricated

A later fatwa from Shaykh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid's Islam Q&A also rules these rumors as lies

Quote
The story about Neil Armstrong, who they say was the first man to step onto the surface of the moon, becoming a Muslim is one of the stories that are passed around among people. We have researched this story and we did not find any reliable source for it.

We have got used to hearing stories like that which then turn out to false, and it seems that this is a deliberate attempt to shake the faith of the ordinary Muslims, especially since they fabricated this story with some exciting details, that seem to affirm the superiority of this religion over all other religions. So they spread the news that famous people, such as artists, sportsmen and others have become Muslim, and they quote something with the story that affirms the truth of the Messenger and his message, then after a while they hasten to disprove these stories. Perhaps the story about Armstrong becoming a Muslim is of this type, because he is one of the most famous people in the world. Moreover the reason why he supposedly became Muslim – as they say – is that he heard the adhaan (call to prayer) on the Moon then he heard it again in Egypt.

If the story of such a famous person becoming Muslim was really true, you would see him calling people to Islam and you would see the scholars and daa’iyahs and the Islamic media meeting him and talking to him, none of which happened in this case. If you compare the story of Armstrong supposedly becoming Muslim with the story of Yusuf Islam (the former Cat Stevens, the famous British singer), you will see the difference between lies and truth, imagination and reality.
Islam Q&A, Fatwa No. 20880

Conclusion

There is no evidence whatsoever to support the claim that Neil Armstrong converted to Islam, or that he and the other Apollo 11 crew members witnessed anything miraculous while on the moon. Conversely, there is copious amounts of evidence that directly or indirectly prove the entire claim to be a hoax. The evidence against this claim is so strong that there has even been a fatwa issued confirming it as fabricated.

Armstrong himself, in his autobiography, denied ever converting to Islam. His administrative aide and the US State Department also denied any truth behind the conversion rumors. He would later, in Malaysia, explicitly deny that there was any truth behind the claim that he also heard the Muslim call to prayer on the moon, and the transcript and audio of the moon landing itself contradict the claim that "strange" sounds or words were ever heard.

On a serious side note, if mark gets jailed in japan... well even he doesnt deserve that...

Lying while poofing near half a billion $ and he doesn't deserve a stint in a 1st world prison system? Some countries execute people for simply possessing a certain chemical compound.

read up about the japanese prison system.

you will retract your comment after that

Hi,

I wanna ask some people around here that are using eyeglasses when using their computers or as a part of their daily lives. I'm having problems with my right eye. It seems that only my right eye is starting to blur while my other eye is working perfectly fine. I'm using glasses while in front of my computer. I forgot the current grades of the glass though but it's somewhat not that high. What do you think is the problem? Should I upgrade the grade of my eye wear?

go visit an optician or eye doctor and let him/her examine you.
im short sighted with ~-3,5 on both eyes but never had something like that before.

it could just be a changing of the right eye sight, doesnt have to be something serious. (but that would be over a longer period of time not instantly)

selbst Nachts erlebt.

Ich bin zu 100% zufrieden, habe 420.-€ gespart... Was will man mehr?
Endlich Battlefield in Ultra Einstellungen dank GeForce GTX 970 mit 4k Display.
Danke MrLehmann.

Neue Bestellung ist schon in Plaanung. Brauch doch jetzt noch eine PCI-E 4x SSD... Wink
Kann es nur empfehlen!!!

4k und laptop?

sorry for spam.

@mrlehmann

ich denke ich werde bis kommende woche den laptop ausgesucht haben Smiley
4894  Other / Politics & Society / Re: CEO who raised workers’ minimum pay to $70K hits predictable problems on: August 03, 2015, 12:11:08 AM
why did the high skilled workers leave? they didnt got less salary right?
i mean the people that left will get the same salary somewhere else right?

greed and jealousy.

we need the singularity asap.
(of course only if it isnt going to kill us)

All incentive goes out the door when the minimum is 70k. The lazy workers will get paid the same as the hard-working ones. There is no room to expand and move forward.

i can accept this argument if they would get a higher salary somewhere else and if it is a comparison between lazy and hardworking.
but if this is not the case i can only assume it is just simply emotional reasons.

i mean for example the less skilled worker on machine x, which is easier to handle, would still need to give 100% to do his work, exactly like the skilled worker on machine y, which is more difficult to handle.
in this example the working for both of them would be the same.

i hope i could make my thinkings somewhat clear.

4896  Economy / Speculation / Re: Manipualtion and the future of Bitcoin - Poll on: August 02, 2015, 10:39:23 PM
the answer to your question depends on the/your future outlook of bitcoin.
if bitcoin grows several magnitudes of order, maybe becoming m_x etc., then it will be very hard to nearly impossible to manipulate.
if it stays in this range or goes to nowhere we will see (easy) manipulation till the end of bitcoin.

i guess possible/future investors might have a problem that zoidberg has more then bbr as a project.

sure cryptonote with pos will be a technical advantage, but it still kinda leaves a bad taste that the main dev is working on a different project, which is not just a side thing.

but i could also be the only thinking that way - becoming paranoid i guess  Tongue

Well, it seems that I was way toooo motivated and I've miscalculated it, same as Ask.

I've around 6 BTC now which I entered long with, I'm thinking about either shorting or selling before the doom happens.

So because you believed this guy originally and now he has changed his tune you believe him again? Why?
