4881  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What was your experience trading cryptocurrency? on: May 26, 2020, 12:12:47 PM
Been trading for quite a while now and it took me time to get to where i am today coming from a noob in trading. Trading cryptocurrencies was one hell of an experience for me Grin.

The first cryptocurrency i traded back in late 2018 was bitcoin and i lost a whole lot of money trading it. I guess i didn't learn enough about the crypto market and the volatility involved before delving into it  Undecided.

Ever since then, i picked another instrument of choice. I went into the FOREX trading. I plan on coming back into trading cryptocurencies but for now i'm still learning about the crypto market.  Cheesy

It was a painful experience though  Grin

What was your experience ?

So you head forward to Forex yet you cant deal the crypto market? If I were to say that the whole concept is just really the same neither you are here on crypto world or in forex one because they do both involved buy and sell- they only differ on the volatility and regulation aspect but making money would really be hard.

Of course, none of us do start from being pro which we do start from being noobs.Thing here is that you do know on how to accept losses and learn from it and who do say that you can able to learn up everything? Life does give out learning on daily basis and so as with trading itself where you do continue to learn even you do think up to yourself that you already learned enough but that's not always the case.
4882  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Earn a huge ROI on: May 25, 2020, 10:33:41 AM
Who will trust a company that says they are the best yet, they were just made a few months ago? Stop saying that you are a forex company if the scheme your company offers is more of a ponzi scheme.

When i do see into that kind of format then it do automatically falls into that criteria. Grin

Is there someone who would still fall into this one nowadays?
Im sure that most people are wise now.
4883  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to trading on: May 24, 2020, 07:45:26 PM
The best advice for a novice trader is to find a decent company that is engaged in trust management, trading your funds.
What do you mean? Explain to the newcomer, give details.

Better to ignore these kind of advises because its never been a wise move if you do let your funds be handled out by those so called fund managers/trust companies. Why? you wouldnt know if they are totally trading up your money in full seriousness which is entirely different when
you do trade your own funds in your own hands. It is much worth it even though you lost then at least you do still get the experience you do need
that would really be needed for your trading career.

Never ever consider this kind of option and its always good to trade on your own even on small amounts specially when you are
just still learning or starting from scratch.
4884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty- Waste of resources? on: May 24, 2020, 06:51:34 PM
Social media campaigns get the attention of people who don't have much knowledge about cryptos which is actually the intention of the crabby projects because people with experience may skip their projects so they target random people with their offers and make money with their shitcoins.
Thats not new. Not shocking that there are still plenty of investors that are fall for these new projects. Maybe more investors are not familiar with this forum and they dont know if they are dealing already with scam one. We cant blame them as their concern mainly is to have profits. Social media is really powerful, if you would see there are more users that prefer social campaigns than signature cause they know how stricy this forum for scam one thats why they dont include a signature cause many here are concern to inform most people if they found a scam project.

You actually had the point because if they do focus out on social media then they can somewhat avoid on being bust on earlier phase
and would completely stop their scamming intentions since from the start yet if they do try to put up exposure on this forum then
people can easily detect which one is fraud or obviously just trying to scam.Shady projects do still continue to exist because theyve
been continually being feed up by those people who dont make any up search towards the project and still invest just for the hope
of quick bucks or profits until they do realize that they had been scammed already.
4885  Economy / Speculation / Re: Possible to Manipulate bitcoin price?? on: May 23, 2020, 11:57:02 PM
Absolutely yes and you can't ignore that thing knowing that whales will strike if they wanted. We can't simply think that Bitcoin is 100% a decentralized coin this time, manipulations are often to happen, only we saw this time that hypes aren't particularly working unlike what it happens last 2017.
But for me, I'm so glad to have not happening again and it saves noobs to suffer losses.
Manipulation is indeed do exist to these markets since they do have the money that can really led to prices on what they wanted.
We know that the price can swing up on big percentage without even expecting. So its not something new that's why its important
that we should take actions on anything that do happen into this market. They are there and just trying to make up fud or fomo
so that the entire community will react and that's the time they would set in.
4886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: J.K. Rowling, Author Of Harry Potter Is Interested in Bitcoin, Time To Short? on: May 23, 2020, 10:12:26 PM
Why short?

Its been said that shes just trolling out the entire bitcoin community https://www.insider.com/jk-rowling-jokes-bitcoin-ethereum-elon-musk-twitter-2020-5
This woman do really take some advantage on her popularity and trying out to hype his eth holdings?
When it comes to sentiments like this, its always ideal not to easily believe or make immediate actions just because they up into something.
4887  Economy / Economics / Re: WHO encourages use of digital payments due to COVID19 on: May 23, 2020, 08:48:16 PM
Fiat is the most common material that can easily transmit the virus we should stop using it and go cashless. This could be the perfect time to get rid of fiat and digital, people should start educating themselves about crypto and other digital payments.

Crypto would always remain as an option but surely wont able to get the spot light since we have been using credit/debit cards for how many years
or even decades. If this suggestion do talks about digital payments then people would just simply switch up to e-fiat transactions that's why I don't really
believing that much that crypto would be considered this time around but at least it will make out some noise when we do talk about digital payments.
Sooner or later, if this pandemic would be over then people would simply go back into things that they've been used to and going back to
use paper.
4888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why risk management is so important ? on: May 23, 2020, 07:32:05 PM
Indeed risk management is important for every traders because thats how you can control yourself for further losses. Having a plan, strategy and patience are required in order to do it right because if you have no plan and unable to manage the risk of trading you might lose your capital or worse lose the chance to recover it. Its not easy to be a trader and to earn as well however we can maximize our chance to gain by following our plan and ot greedy to earn quick.
without that, I doubt they would trade without seeing the risk. honestly this is one of the factors that make many traders stop. however, risk management is very necessary. consideration of the risks that can be surmounted will make us better prepared, and confident with the decisions we can take.
Each decision needs to be knowledgeable because if you do not have the experience, each of your choices will greatly affect the current assets.

I usually divide the appropriate capital for each of my investments and never spend all my money on buying a coin because the risk is very high. Sometimes I still lose money because of the market volatility. However, after all, I still make a profit again because I always have a second plan when the market suddenly collapses.

It will be bad decision for anyone if they put all there money in the single assets especially if we talk about cryptocurrency since there are series of events where alts get dump by their own devs so if the the person put all his money in this kind of things then he will lose everything, but if they put on several altcoins exist they will have a high chance to recover back if they lose the other holdings.

Would depend on the financial capacity of a certain individual because not all would really have that kind of capability on doing multiple investments
since they do only have sufficient funds for only a few or even a single project that they do tend to invest on.So its really hard to make conclusions that
people do only have single investment doesn't consider out to have lots.Of course those things are in minds but they don't have any choice since they
don't already have money to spent.
4889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Fate of Privacy Coins on: May 22, 2020, 08:28:07 PM
The fate of privacy coins lies on the hands of those who still wish to use it.

Even if the governments ban or advice against the use of such, if people see value in what the coin offers, they'd use it still. Besides, if the coin is anonymous already, why would one be scared to use it and be caught? Anyway, I don't see governments easing their stance against such coins since it can be a vehicle to launder money anonymously. They can't just knock on the doorsteps of developers and force them to relay information as it can't be done. They will allow certain cryptocurrencies only if they know that they have a way to see how transactions are going, and with privacy coins, they are completely denied of that spying ability.
Main reason on why they do try to shut things down and the primary target would be exchanges on which we have seen on delisting out privacy coins like XMR etc.
No one can stop if there would be still a community or people do support or make use of it but we cant really deny the fact that it would be hard if they would continue
to shut of the gateways on where a certain privacy coin user tend to make conversions but its not really that a big issue atm yet we have seen that these coins
do still manage to exist even though theyre are being gradually restricted.
4890  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: May 22, 2020, 07:35:10 PM
Unfortunately, panic selling can't be avoided completely, there will always be some users who are afraid of loss, don't have enough patience and think thus they can save at least some of their money.
Panic selling is usualy connected with unexperienced users so I think that sharing.information, education and positive experience can help to prevent panic selling.
panic in the crypto world sometimes leads to new investors or people who are afraid of losing their assets. Well, I see so many people writing negative comments when the price of bitcoin dropped from $ 9k to $ 5k in the past few months. Well, but, when they look at the current situation, it seems like they have regretted selling their assets. however, avoid panic sell when price developments are still potential.
Panic sell is normal since we do know that we are just human beings where we do normally react into things specially when we do talk
about money and we know on how valuable to us and losing a portion of it will really give out that kind of emotion or panic into ones self.
Panic selling will surely give out negative impact most of the time but there are panic sells that do benefit out or saving up your ass
from crash and i have experienced this for several times which i can say that i'd somehow thankful into those circumstances.
4891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Does Bitcoin Have Value? on: May 22, 2020, 06:29:28 PM
Bitcoin has value because it is a coin widely known worldwide. I don't think there is any possibility of Bitcoin going down to 0 because the demand for Bitcoin is increasing day by day. As the demand increases, so does the value of Bitcoin. As long as there is demand and use, its value will remain the same. I hope that in the near future Bitcoin will play an important role in international trade and transactions.

I don't think Bitcoin is valuable because it is widely known? What about the days where people don't know Bitcoin and only few knows it? what value did they saw to mine Bitcoin? you see, it's not Bitcoins popularity but utility and it's technology that brings people to use it. Without it's semi-anonymous feature and its decentralization, then people wouldn't even bat an eye.
Nope look when there are less people know about bitcoin can you compare the price from there to these days?
Look how cheap bitcoin from that time because there are less demands and only few people uses this.
And now there are million people here that supports and uses bitcoin(this is just my estimate lol) imagine how Huge we go in price growth?
this means one thing that popularity is part of the increase from price.
When we do talk about popularity then it would definitely talks about demand because if its unknown to the community then it wont really
get that attention.A thing that do gain value is that into something that has demand and this is where bitcoin head on.Sadly that i havent
considered this one when it was just starting wayback when im still at college where it doesnt even have that value or you can freely mine
but i totally ignore this one which really a regretful thing but its never too late to engage though because we know that this one will
still fly in the future.
4892  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Satoshi Nakamto Have in this forum! on: May 22, 2020, 03:18:24 PM
Hello Dear crypto Users, We know Bitcoin is the mother of crypto currency, Day by day increase Bitcoin users and crypto users, But Yet Now we do not know Who is Satoshi Nakamto / Cremator Of bitcoin, Many have claimed it many times Evidence has not been found, but Bitcoin's three halving has gone so far, we still do not know who is the one who gave us such a beautiful perfect system gift? We are very excited to know this question, I think many people know the answer to this question, I think we have Satoshi Nakamto and the people around him in this Bitcoin Forum, but they are not saying anything yet, but why? What do you think?
Who knows?

We dont know if he's still alive or not or just simply lurks into this forum that he created.Yeah its great that he had invented btc since we know on how big is the contribution of it
in terms of transactions aspects which highly opposes centralization. If you do make up some simple search you would able to read up on how many personalities are trying
to claim that they're satoshi but all of them failed up to show strong proofs and until now, this identity still a mystery.
4893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Effect of the Bitcoin Halving on Online Casinos on: May 20, 2020, 09:45:08 PM
..why online gamblers would use Bitcoin gambling platforms more because of the halving.

Honestly, not with the halving but are these online gamblers (literally a gambler outside crypto) really interested to try bitcoin itself?

As we all know, the adoption is still, no doubt, not that big so before these gamblers will shift into bitcoin, the first thing they will ask is "what is bitcoin". They will set aside the halving thing, the moon thing, the rocket thing, etc.

Those listed things in the article are general information about why people should use bitcoin, not just in gambling. But seriously, even with all these positive views, there are people who will stick playing on fiat online casinos compare to crypto casinos.

They would really need to know the basic first before they would really go beyond to other aspects.Im not really that too negative in terms of adoption but let those people do discover up themselves about crypto gambling.

They would able to tell the difference between the two.Introduction would only be the challenge on here and when their interest sparks on then its good but i agree into the point that you have said
that majority of them would just stick out into traditional ways.
4894  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to buy - question to Hodlers on: May 20, 2020, 08:50:35 PM
Its a very challenging question that when to buy as market is very fluctuating. I think when you think to buy a token you must see some characteristics of market like- that tokens last 15 days price up down statistics and at the same time BTC price. As per example i bought some KICK & DRG tokens last month but matter of sorrow that when i bought tokens BTC turned to pump so tokens price again fall and fall. Now if i can buy again that tokens in low price average market will my favour and when market will up, i will be gainer.

So like this example you have to think market condition before buy and you will be gainer.

thanks.
It will really just depend on the coin you are into because not all that have dumped would have the chance to pump.So its really hard to tell or to decide if you would buy those coins or would be afraid to do so

because its just normal that you would think on that it might even dropped way more lower thats why its really hard to make decisions here on a speculative market.Just like on whats said above on where it

do really need some sort of gambling decision because you would need to risk on if you do really believe on a particular project.
4895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MASS is profitable and Cheap to mine ... Here is why? on: May 20, 2020, 07:15:58 PM
There are many consensus algorithms that are offering better functionalities than PoW but due to its robustness and security PoW is still a popular consensus algorithm. I don't think any other consensus algorithm has the capability to replace PoW.
True to the words.
But I don't think that's what op is bringing us, he's just introducing a poc-type coin.
I think there are other coins like this but it didn't gain traction.

The idea is to introduce a new mining coin i.e. MASS. Bitcoin the pioneer of cryptocurrency and still leads the market in terms of volume and capital. There are alternatives to bitcoin mining that can give you a good returns, just explore this coin.
It requires only a storage device to start mining and can be mined by anyone.
Yes, I know about that and there's no issue with that.
The guy just educated everybody here what's the best consensus and there's nothing wrong with that too.
I also know a miner that's focused on altcoins are experimenting from one coin to another.
What exchange mass is listed?

If you do have some time on doing some backreads on what being written on op then you would definitely see this one https://www.mxc.com/trade/easy#MX_USDT

Im familiar with HDD mine or some sort but i dont know on how PoC works which do really looks interesting but somehow im not really that much hooked up in things like this.

Talking into its value then it do really have some activity but doesnt mean that it do really have the potential  in longer run.Time well surely tell!
4896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Share your stategy how to grow bitcoin on: May 19, 2020, 07:38:19 PM
Hello bitcoin lovers!
Because of wrong or weak stategy, most of traders/holders unable to grow the expected amount of bitcoin. Kindly share your best stategy how can anyone grow their bitcoin amount?  I believe, thus we bitcointalkers will help each other Wink
We know that your bitcoin stash would potentially grow on its own since we know on whats the potential of it when it comes to longer aspect.Lots of people do hold since they do know the value would keep increasing as the years pass by.

Aside from holding then some people do tend to trade their btc's actively so that they would able to increase it without tending to hold or dont do something with it.Yeah its risky but would really be worth to try on
because we know that when it comes to profit then actively dealing with trade is much more better.
4897  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Charts Hint at the Most Exciting Breakout in Over a Year. on: May 19, 2020, 10:38:43 AM
above $9200 this week, it's an incredibly bullish sign

i don't think so since there is nothing significant about prices that are below $10k which is right now a psychological barrier more than anything else. and for all the FUD that has been going on for the past week i don't see any bullish signs unless this resistance is broken. for now everyone seems to be either accumulating or waiting for the breakout to jump in again.
I agree, the analysis that I'm saying lately is about the prices that's below $10k and speculates that if a week closes with a certain price then that's the sign of the bull run. But bitcoin doesn't go like that.

Last year, bitcoin reached far to $13k and a division of bullish trap folks and non-bullish speculators said that it's like that. And for this year, many didn't even expected that March would show a very low price base from those price comparisons and expectations analysis.

Right, and when this so called experts really thought that the price will go North, usually the opposite happen. Although we can say that analysis can help, but it is not a guarantee. Still base on people sentiments, news that sell, FUD and anything under the sun that can push the price or pull it on the other direction. Currently the price seems to be holding on $9500, and we don't know if it will continue its declines or another break out occurs and pushing the price to $10k++, we will see.
There were and will be interesting analysis that's very accurate to how they read the charts and it can't be denied. But, to the speculators, this how they see the price movements of bitcoin and also like me but I saw it isn't like that.

IMO, fundamental is still much of the base of bitcoin's value but as we say, bitcoin's attitude keeps replacing and difficult to read its true nature in terms of analysis. But, as long as we have those tech's and fund's analyses, they're also helpful how you will react and decide.

I dont really believing that much into that kind of word that talks about "accurate" because it wont really fit out into this kind of market yet we know that thousands of speculations that do float around in talks about possible price basing on technicals and yes we do know on how this market reacts when it comes to news and events neither it is attached in both or only on one side.Price is always been questionable thats what
makes this market is hard to predict but somewhat trying to look to these analysis is way more better than positioning yourself blindly without any basis.
4898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: App with a map of nearby people willing to trade bitcoin? on: May 19, 2020, 06:34:06 AM
Besides maps of Bitcoin ATMs worldwide, I don't think such app/website exists. If we ever had one, I don't think much people will be willing to plot their location on the map as it would be a nightmare in terms of privacy and personal security.
You are definitely right!

No one in the right mind that would make theirselves visible publicly that someone do have some bitcoin into their stashes and willing to trade it up incase.
It is totally contrarily or opposing that anonymous thing on where bitcoin is being famous on.As you said we can see legends/icons about bitcoin atms
and other services that do accept bitcoin nor for you able to buy but talking of p2p? i dont see any.

4900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta is dead, long live the ForkDelta on: May 17, 2020, 08:33:33 PM
And expect more to have lower demands since as you said the ICO is dead due to those coming incident happen for those past years.

That's right, with no demand on IEO, these decentralized exchange will not progress.
Also, people will not feel secure using a decentralized exchange as the owner has no responsibility on whatever will happen on the exchange.

like this old news about Etherdelta.

Cryptocurrency exchange EtherDelta gets hacked and replaced by a fake site that steals your money

Quote
Popular cryptocurrency exchange EtherDelta got hacked in spectacular fashion Wednesday, with many users unknowingly sending their tokens to the hacker instead of the exchange.

At least 308 ETH ($266,789) were stolen, as well as a large number of tokens potentially worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

a lot of traders loses that time and that's the reason why ED loss its popularity.
Its a redirect issue which do really leads up users to a fake site and inputting all of their keys and after that incident then no one can easily trust up even if to those so-called decentralized exchanges.

I remember those days where ED was still flying with colors when the market had flooded with so much erc20 token based where it is commonly traded up into these exchanges and after such
days of popularity specially into those projects then expected that the volume is spectacular until all hype had gone and dex'es was dragged on along the way.- Not all but we have
seen significant impact in terms of volume/liquidity.
