Put a credit or quote where the original words came from. If you're in need for those words, don't forget to give proper credit or quote to the person, website or wherever you've taken those words you're about to say.

It is important to include that source or link.
4882  Other / Off-topic / Re: Some times you over rate or Under rate yourself on: May 24, 2021, 02:00:50 PM
It's about confidence.

But most of the time when a person under value himself, there's always two pictures on the side. It's either he/she is dead serious with that or he's just expressing how humble he/she is.
4883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: May 24, 2021, 11:50:28 AM
If only all of the government around the world will have this? then for sure we will be having a good gambling community and not just pure of negativities.

How i am looking for our government to have this same offers and will help many people get out of misery.
From which country you living?

Are you sure that there's no such help for this type of problem existing in your country? AFAIK, there are help that exists and if there's none coming from a government unit.

There are some existing from volunteering groups and non government units.

Don't be tricked by a newbie posting a certain website asking as if he really asks.

Use tor, create an email account and submit the article using a pseudonym. It's not that hard. May I know what country you are talking about?
Yeah, this is a good advise to use tor.

You just have to make an email dummy and that won't leave you a trace if your government is supressive with authors. But that will keep you in shadows and if your article hits through many people and remembers it.

The recognition would just be kept hidden and I think that you're okay with that.
4886  Economy / Speculation / Re: where do you see your self before end of 2021. a crypto millionaire or a bloke on: May 24, 2021, 07:06:11 AM
The hustle to earn more has lead so many newbies here to loose the ones they have. i think more people are been affected with the current bear that stormed the market. well, it is called Correction did you managed to pull out your funds Or you were stucked.
i have few advices for you.

If you were able to pull out, you are so lucky.
If you failed to pull out, leave your token and DON'T SELL. institutions and the whales are lurking and willing to buy your bag. Hold your crypto and wait.
the market will be back in full force.

BY THEN, you might be a millionaire before 2021.
sell and you become a bloke who looses because he has a weak hands to hold.
I didn't pulled out and I don't say that I'm stucked. I've earned well and I can say that I've managed to save as well. It's all about the experience and the risk taking that you must master or at least be familiar with. Investing in bitcoin and good cryptocurrencies could be a life changing. If those people who have made money through meme coins had changed their lives, for those who have made money but it could also put you into losses.

I don't have any plan to get out of this market, I just love this market and you don't have to be a genius person for this. Having enough experience and being calm whenever correction comes will save you and will make you understand that the potential to grow is limitless.
4887  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is bitcoin on future market? on: May 23, 2021, 09:01:31 AM
There are alot of trading platform and exchanges provide products of futures market, not only CEX like Binance, Huobi, Bitmex, Okex and others but also there are already Dex that offer this trading products. Since Bitcoin getting more popular asset, platform of trading forex also provide pair of BTC/USD to trade it with leverage. Some crypto exchanges also has trading product called leverage tokens and ETP(Exchange Trade Product) by created short and long tokens, so we can possible make profit when the trend turn in to bearish.
He is right OP, there are various exchanges that offers this for those traders that are looking to get an advanced way of trading through futures.

The risk is higher than the normal way of trading which is spot. Just so you know, many newbies are thinking that it is easy to make money from it but they're wrong.
4888  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do older bitcoin holders have plans in place for their crypto if they pass away? on: May 23, 2021, 08:29:42 AM
The question has been addressed in this forum several times before. I am sure that many of those who have large stocks of bitcoin have secured access to those funds in case of sudden death.
A simple way to handle this is to place a seed phrase or private key together with instructions in the security deposit box at your bank.

I wouldn't advise to entrust it to the bank. We know the bankers and they are all in for the money. Even if there is going to be a contract, if you're going to do that.

Better to just put it to a safety box with instructions or entrust it to an attorney instead which I think is better than the banks or I could be wrong with that so cmiiw.
4889  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Do you do in your free time? on: May 23, 2021, 06:05:27 AM
I screen print. Prints of world war 2 propaganda posters.
Interesting.

Do you have a website or page where they are posted or kept?

I would love to see those posters of world war 2 that were made as propaganda.
4890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many got REKT :( on: May 23, 2021, 05:26:29 AM
Worst?

Not that worst though. As you can see the market is still $1.5B in market capitalization which is still quite high. $500B got out and that's a lot to be considered though.

I don't have any exit plan. I'll keep holding until I see bitcoin reaches the sky.

There was like $8B or so in liquidations which was about 750,000 different liquidations. So assuming most people only had 1 position, that is almost a million investors which got liquidated. Some maybe didn't have enough margin in their account at the time to refill and for others they probably ended up losing everything.

Then there are those that bought BTC back at $33K earlier when it was rallying and most likely they never took profit because they were expecting at least $100K bitcoin and they set their stop loss at break-even. Or they got scared when they saw $30K and basically got out at break-even because they don't want a repeat of 2017 where it goes from $20K all the way to $3K.
I have taken a profit earlier than this bull run has peaked and I have thought of the same as theirs.

Just learning the past will really make us do those decisions but to OP as saying this is the worst. I really think that it isn't.

4892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: May 22, 2021, 11:46:08 PM

Even if the bitcoin price is down to $39k, it is still not better to use bitcoin to gamble because the price can increase anytime.

For me that's wrong, if you think that way, then better not gamble using bitcoin, just use stable coins so you will not worry whether the price will fall or increase. Thing is, we are gambling not investing, so the volatility of bitcoin should never affect us because if it does, it will not make us focus in our main purpose, which is gambling
I agree.

If you don't want to use your bitcoin, it's best to choose not to gamble. No matter what the prices are, there will be gamblers that wouldn't care about the price.

As long as they're able to fulfill their gambling needs, they'll use it to deposit.
Bitcoin, stable coin or fiat money no matter what, they are still money which is having value right now so one who wants to gamble and have money in whatever form they can use it for the purpose. And also there are gambling sites which convert your deposits into USD value after depositing means it is just a value interm of dollar no matter which coins we are used.
And if they don't want to use it then better not use it with the means of gambling and just keep it as if they want to hold it whatever the money is.

If they want to keep bitcoin, they just have to follow your great suggestion of depositing USD or any fiat to that casino if they have an integrated converter.

People especially the newbies are looking only to the weeks performance of bitcoin. Guys, you should give yourself an idea that bitcoin is still on the side that it's still gained if you're going to look for months away chart.

so we will absolutely survive this bear market.
This isn't the first time and we did survived before and enjoyed what happened after it.

Just tell it to your significant other or closest family member that, this small piece of paper is where our wealth is. That small piece of paper is where your private keys are stored.

Then the rest will depend on you how they'll be able to follow instructions that you'll do in importing the wallet.

Too sad that GSW didn't able to make it.

I will bet them - I just offered you if you are brave enough to bet against me.

Woah, this is hot. I think this is going to add some heat on this thread if there are bets like this. I'm not interested though but there could be some folks there who would like to bet against spartaneca.

It's exciting if there are such bets like to watch for although I'm not the one who's going to bet.  Tongue

I am just trying to get the series little bit more interesting.  As of Bucks and Heat - I think Millwaukee has written the homework from last year and will give Miami zero chance. It would be probably a gentleman sweep
Yeah, that's making it more interesting but are there already folks who reached you out? And with Bucks vs Heat, they're currently on OT.
Nobody has decided to step against me, probably because my status is newbie
I don't think so.

Those folks probably haven't seen you post. If you want to really pursue for someone to bet against you on this playoffs, there's another thread and I think you can find one there.

--> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5091185.0

Btw, Bucks won. 2 pts lead.

4898  Economy / Economics / Re: Understanding a bear market. on: May 22, 2021, 08:09:54 PM
(2) There is usually a lot of fear among HODlers of cryptocurrency during a bear market, it is very important that investors/HODlers during this period should think long term, because the temptation to sell will be there.
I'm also a hodler but I don't fee any fear. Hodlers are really in the long term strategy, we don't care what will be the market today or tomorrow because we have goal of visioning what's in it on the next years to come.

Too bad that others don't understand what's being a hodler is. They think that it's just a few weeks or months and then if the market crashes, they'll panic sell which isn't a hodler thing to do.
4899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader took his own life after the recent huge dump on: May 22, 2021, 07:39:39 PM
Same old stories where people put everything in one basket and when the market crashes, they’ll lose everything, I feel sad every time I hear this kind of story as well, I can’t imagine spending much money in trading that will just lose within a day. This is a big mistake that we should avoid all the time, don’t lose hope and don’t ever take your own life just because of money because you can always earn that.
True.

There are investors and traders that cannot take the emotional hit whenever the market goes the opposite that they are. If it's related to money then it could be his dream and goal to change his life forever.

But within just a flash of a moment, those were gone and he finds no hope on it.

The fed wouldn't care about you bear market.

What's with the title about bitcoin being troubled? there's no such that bitcoin is in trouble and the fed should act with what you're saying. It's still in a good price and people like you must relax.

I doubt it too that they'll print brrrrrrrrrrrr again.
