It's always like this, someone who will introduce their project as a hidden gem and I think that's not working anymore. People are wise to look at projects and have their opinions of them being good or bad project. And you know what's other people stopping in investing with graphics like this? Comparing bitcoin as if it is the bad guy and outdated of all cryptos? Well, look at where it always ends up, it's not going anywhere but only on its throne as the number 1.

Who's got a good insight about the upcoming NBA draft? For the names of the draft prospects, here they are.
There are also mock drafts that were done by various sources and sports media. What do you think about the common picks and your thoughts about this event?

I honestly have no idea who any of these kids are.  College being shut down in recent years because of covid made me lose all interest in watching or even keeping track of who the players are.  I probably won't even watch the draft as a result.  Usually there's all sorts of highlight reels from these players, but I haven't seen any...  I'm more interested in the trades that will be done around the draft as players I've heard of will undoubtedly be moved in the near future.
Yeah, the most interesting part as always will be the trades from team to team. I'm currently waiting for the draft and I'm just watching it, we've got someone who's supporting but he's out of the mock drafts and hopefully, he'll make it on the actual 30 minutes from now.

The big news of the moment seems to be the Lakers and Hornets closing in on a deal for Russell Westbrook.  I have no idea how that situation will shake out.
It seems that it's really big news. Well, after this draft for sure the news like this will come eventually and they're more interesting.

So what really happen with Calvin Abueva?

The words JAPAN! JAPAN! JAPAN! and BYE PBA! that's big, is here serious with that, and will soon leave the PBA for JAPAN?

He was really frustrated because he thought there should be no call, but the words coming from his mouth, it simply tells that he is not 100% happy playing with the PBA.
Possible. He has seen that there are better opportunities offshore than staying in the PBA. As we can see, a lot of young and professional players have been adopted by the other leagues abroad and that's a lot of money for them to say. A 1 year of contract would be enough as testing the waters and at the same time get more possible opportunities in other different leagues in the region. Like Justin Gutang of Filbasket, he's going to play for Changwon LG in the Korean basketball league.

Of course, he can play a one year contract, but if he will not get renewed, I doubt he can still come back to the PBA if he is vocal that he doesn't like PBA anymore. It's better for him to do the right procedure, don't criticize the PBA, and just leave professionally.

Based on the comments I read, some people say that if Calvin will leave PBA, they will also stop watching the PBA.
So you see, Calvin has a lot of fans because he makes the PBA more entertaining to watch.
Well, I've seen a lot of fans that are no longer watching PBA and have seen that it's more competitive to watch the other leagues. It's sure that there will be fans that will go along with their idols if they leave the league and that's normal for the fandoms.
There have been issues like this before and still those players that have been in the issue still able to get a contract unless Calvin will really leave the PBA.

Portland or Pacers hehehehe.
Cool
4887  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: June 23, 2022, 12:16:40 PM

4888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 22, 2022, 11:52:32 PM
LeBron James is investing in himself to make his own needs so that he can still play exceptional when he is on the court, he can't be playing that well at his age if he's not paying attention to his health. LBJ's age falls in the same bracket as Carmelo Anthony and Howard but LBJ is literally different. Right now, he's more of setting up the table just like CP3 did in Phoenix.
That's right. AFAIK, he's budgeting himself with a whopping $1M for his personal training just to get in shape despite his age not getting younger.

A staggering $1.5 Million expenditure to be exact annually, and that includes the proper training equipment with its latest technology, personal trainer to keep him versatile especially now that his age is growing day by day and chef to make his meals a healthy one that would surely needed in his body.

Yes, I also saw that meme circulating in the internet recently to make some argument about who's the goat. But for me, Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Stephen Curry is already a goat in their respective generations and there's no need to argue about that as they aren't born in the same year or atleast born with a gap of 3-5 years.
Well, that's part of his investment to make himself in his best shape despite the age of his going up and he's not going back to the old number. But he can defy that age of his with the latest technology and that's why he's invested a lot in his personal training and growth. He's not just an athlete and a professional basketball player, he's also good knowledge for an investment like this.

No argument, they're all in the greatest era that they can share with the younger ones and they have their own prime and anyone can call them GOAT for real.

It's not a test of time for them. They've chosen what they have to choose and planned it all along. Whatever is happening to them is the result of what they've done purposely.
If they haven't done the wrong thing of being selfish and abandoning the project by dumping all of their assets to the investors, they'll probably still in good contact but I think whatever they happen, it's already an abandoned ship and no place for any recovery.
4890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do real traders care about bear & bull market? on: June 22, 2022, 11:00:43 PM
Day traders or not, we all end up being a trader but I agree with what he said that there's always the opportunity whether the market is bearish or bulls.
I think it's just all about pride in what he said when he mentioned "real traders". And there's nothing wrong calling all of those brave traders to be real and have been trading no matter what the season is.
4891  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every "Bitcoin is Dead Headline" is a Buying Opportunity on: June 22, 2022, 10:30:49 PM
Yes, that's absolutely the signal whenever the media tells us that bitcoin is dead and it has been said 400+ times. There's nothing new to say from them because that's the pattern that they've said to do.
And we know that every cycle, there's a big correction that happens and when that comes in, you know what you're up to and that's the time that you should be buying whether you DCA, a big purchase, or when it's about to rise again. Just buy.
4892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Mantra After, while playing And Before You Gamble on: June 22, 2022, 10:01:51 PM
It is essential that you should remove your emotions attached to your bets. Because that's going to cause you many problems and you'll think of it at all times when you've been attached to it. That's why if you're thinking that you need a mantra or not or anything you have to do before you gamble, do it if that's what will make you confident enough.

It also help you not to get aggressive, if you can control your emotion you can easily move forward and forget about your losses, unlike when you can't control your emotions where you keep wanting to gamble back and try to recover your losses, it leads you to more problem as addiction and too much engagement will happen.

It's true, mantra or no mantra. It's more on luck and more on self-control that will let you enjoy decent winnings or just move away with enjoyment right after you play the game / bet the game.
It does help when you're not too emotional. Moving forward and moving on is hard when you're in the depth of losses, that's the part that mostly can't do.
And that is because we can't take those losses and we're eager to recover them as soon as possible. But if you're not too emotional, you're likely to think about your next bet will be the luckiest.
4893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge coin in trouble? on: June 22, 2022, 11:05:18 AM
Well, this became now the era of suing.

the worst thing when investing in doge to get a very big profit is just because elon musk and buy when the price is high.  And now they are sure against Elon?  it's a joke, how strongly they believe they will be able to bring it to court.  So far it's just a rumor about a doge on a pyramid scheme
Elon bought his Dogecoins for sure when it was three decimals or probably more than that. It reached a height of $0.7 and then it fell. That's truly a huge gap for him and bought a lot for sure then the dump has come. Now, those that have blindly followed him felt bad and can't blame anyone but him.
4894  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: June 22, 2022, 07:19:05 AM
We are still in bear and this is my opinion. So it's better to thread with caution and see how things unfold. Don't be in a hurry to buy so that you won't exhaust your funds even if you want to DCA before market finally reverses.
Well, if hurrying is on this time that you're going to buy while they're cheap. I think that's a good hurry that you're trying to do. But if you want to observe for more and you've got no idea how the recovery shall occur.
It's a good time for you to check out your plan and look for the cheap deals that you can get with the market and, the basic and most important of them all is buying bitcoin.

4896  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Another KYC requirements ng coins.ph? on: June 22, 2022, 01:39:25 AM
I got the same interview request. Those reading this thread, they locked my account. They insisted for a recorded video call interview. It is not mandated by BSP to interview customers via video call to get your "KYC" or know your customer details to update your customer record on their system. Withdraw your money and/or crypto  as soon as you read this because you will never know when they will lock your account. I don't trust them anymore. I have found another platform way better than coins.ph.

I use Abra app now. Setting up this app is seamless for me. Verification process of customers is automated (mabilis). The fees are low and can transfer money to your bank account, e-wallets, crypto wallets, etc..

4898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Mantra After, while playing And Before You Gamble on: June 21, 2022, 11:37:57 PM
What I do most is to gamble based ony fate. I don't gamble everytime so anytime I gamble, I do follow my mind and go in with confidence. I have had so many winning games that I thought I could never win. Mastra or no Mastra, I am very sure that what I say is always positive and most time I do remove my mind from all my bets so I will not be too emotional when I lose. Everything is based on mindset so I always positioned my mind so I will not feel too bad if I lose the bet since we are expected to bet with what we think we can afford.
It is essential that you should remove your emotions attached to your bets. Because that's going to cause you many problems and you'll think of it at all times when you've been attached to it. That's why if you're thinking that you need a mantra or not or anything you have to do before you gamble, do it if that's what will make you confident enough.
4899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 21, 2022, 05:23:56 PM
Warriors didn't have one of their most impressive seasons actually. I saw some other teams being more promising than them to achieve the championship. But they still managed to achieve it at the end of the final series. I found Celtics more impressive than them before the final series actually as I really liked their defense especially. Warriors still benefited from their high experience in the recent years and managed to keep Celtics away from the championship one more season. It's been 15 years for Celtics now.
It's always like that, just like the last season (not this recent), IIRC, it was Utah Jazz where most of the fans have been picking that they'll be the ones that shall reach the finals and eventually will get the ring. But, the ending was they didn't.
That's also the same case for the other teams that we always see having a good run at the early of the season but eventually, they're choking when they're near to the playoffs and the actual playoffs.
4900  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Incoming BSP Governor's take on cryptocurrencies on: June 21, 2022, 12:59:21 PM
