Today's UCL games all went as expected except for the Inter draw against Donetsk. I expected Inter to give their champions league endeavor a final push since it's the last round of the group stage. One other event that really surprised me today is Real Madrid. They went from being close to the bottom to being on top of the food chain once again. However, they'd need to sit up otherwise they won't go past the round of 16.
Well, the UCL draw is on saturday. I'd keep an eye on it. Hopefully Liverpool gets through the next couple of round 16 games.
It's a real shame for Inter fans, Madrid have helped Inter by beating monchengladbach that meant Inter only needed one goal , but what happened Inter players couldn't do much. I don't know who to blame but the manager and the players don't deserve to be in this team . Inter tried but were failed to make one single goal which can take them to the knockout stages. Such a costly error, and Lakaku seems like unluckiest player, always costing Inter when they need him most. Now that's what makes it a little strange why against Shakhtar Donetsk looks so difficult for Inter while against a strong team like Madrid, Juventus is not difficult for them.
