4901  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinexchange.io is Closing Down. Official announcement. on: October 02, 2019, 06:40:15 PM
Anyway, exchanges will come and go, as with any other ultra competitive niche business out there. If some of you think that the current big exchanges are unbeatable, well, remember that Binance pretty much dumpstered Bittrex in just a few years.
Yeah, remembering how Bittrex,Poloniex and Bitfinex is still flying with colors and Binance was just starting up.I didnt even expect that they would able to get or place themselves on the top. This proves out that anything can really be replaced in a matter of time but for Binance? They do know on how to handle the game.

Another exchange closed its doors and this is the reality of a very tough competition on exchange platform field.

Well competitive in developing exchanges is indeed quite difficult, especially exchanges now have increasingly innovative features. The right solution in competing is to always look for ideas that are innovative and needed by many people but are mutually beneficial and Binance has done it.

What is done by binance in defeating previous competitors should be a correction for new exchanges in the future to compete. See, Binance has had various innovations in recent years that have made its reputation even more popular.
Yes, they are making things that would make their exchange ahead on the competition and i cant really deny on what they had already been done.
When they are facing up some issues then they do make a way or solution right away which it do completely stop the possibilities for it to be an outdated one or
be reached up by other exchangers in rankings and as said they do know on how to play the game.

My thread has been opened before. You can verify by time.
My bad, didnt notice that thing. lol

4903  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Discussion] Crypto VIP Program on: October 01, 2019, 04:31:07 PM
You can find all the details about "Huobi's VIP Program" in this post: https://huobiglobal.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000536341-Huobi-All-Star-VIP-6th-Anniversary-Fee-Promotion

These fees are for VIP members who trade more than 1000 BTC, so if I have this money I am more concerned about the security than the fees.
Also, don't forget that trading volumes are in the thousands of bitcoin which means that any fees ratio should be very small, well below the figures above.

This fee is about $ 8,000 for a 12,500 BTC transaction.

I like this program and it looks spot on … Wonder how many whales are going to apply?  Where do most whales hang out at?
The question that cant be answered but for sure whales do exist and ask about on where they do hang out? Its the place where they can make out money.  Wink
As hugeblack said above where most whales will definitely look after security that on that VIP benefits yet we are talking multi-millions here.

4905  Economy / Gambling / Re: Email SCAM: "receive Free Bitcoin and Ethereum With Bitcasino" on: October 01, 2019, 03:07:11 PM
I cant believe that in 2019 people still got scammed by e-mail... I thought it was an era of y2k.

How can scammers have a list of "pre-defined group of players" ? Did they have a man "inside" Bitcasino? What do you think ?
No surprise! even you do believe that majority is already wise and smart about scams there were always a dumb person who do easily believe out specially when talking with
good offers. Its already mentioned above and read it up again that their third party software been hacked thats why people able to received out those fraud email.
Good thing that they had able to stop and spot it out later on and also only a small amount of money where these scammers milked out.
4906  Economy / Exchanges / Re: coinexchange.io is closing, remove you founds! on: October 01, 2019, 02:37:54 PM
hmm interesting, one by one known exchange are closing.  From nova last week now coinexchange this is  the effect of long bear market.

Thanks for updating us mate.
I check my email and spam folder i dont see any notification from coinex. How did you get that information?
You can directly read up that notice when you surf out the exchange:

A long bear market would really affect businesses out there, its no surprise!
4907  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you look for in a gaming platform? - Bojoko Article on: October 01, 2019, 02:13:05 PM
In my opinion, platform doesn't really matter as long as it is convenient and secure for gamblers to gamble to a certain casino. Most online casinos nowadays are accessible by mobile or desktop so gamblers can have a choice on what device that they will have to use when accessing the online casinos.
Correct, for a gaming platform its best when it can be played out on both pc and mobile but there were games which arent possible to be played on a mobile phone thats why we do see
some categories but this isnt really a serious matter though and as i believe that majority of us do have their own pc on home and have their own smartphones.
It will just vary on when and where you do plan or do like to play on.
4908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IEOs is a game for top exchanges. on: October 01, 2019, 01:33:29 PM
I really think these IEO thing is only good for the top exchanges and these is because they have the liquidity and the traders to pump a coin after listing, which is why their IEO projects are usually successful.
But the smaller exchange don't have the same and their IEO success rate is no way near the top exchanges. Maybe 2 out of 10 IEOs conducted on the small exchanges would succeed, while top exchanges boast of a success rate of like 9 out of 10.

True you said that the most frequently successful IEOs are exchanges with good market backgrounds and these good exchanges are Binance, Kucoin, Bittrex, Okex, and Bitforex and some of them are not which is good for me because often the price of the token does not improve as it enters the platform exchange.

Reputation is always been tied up of exchange success on any field or new methods that being used on.Remember those ICO days where the primary target of project owners is to get listed on top exchange since they do know that it can boost up its prices and same goes with IEO thing where people will normally choose up those who are on the top
because they know that lots will be longing or to look after with those projects which they already presumed that it will really make up some decent profits
since volume or majority is trading up with those exchangers so its just normal to see on where would people go.
4909  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin seems to be going up rapidly this morning on: October 01, 2019, 01:01:10 PM
There's a rainbow always after the rain and  It is really good to see that the market is in green again after the deep downfall but i think it is to early to conclude as we don't know that this might just a temporary rise up in which a big whales trap so better if we just observe the market movement for a while before we jump into conclusion.
We wont really able to hit up a conclusion yet market is always been unpredictable and volatile.Speculations would continue like forever yet we wont know
on where would prices would go.For a typical crypto market there would always be a rise after such slump of price and thats the basic of a market and this
is where traders do make money. It will just depend on when you do get in and get out and some are just playing out safe by simply long term hodling.
4910  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: October 01, 2019, 12:31:12 PM

@milewilda thanks again for this list and I can see HDF is back, that means we can expect whales to compete with each other. PowerHemp welcome here you’ll enjoy playing at Bitdice, also hoping to see your name on the leaderboard during the contests whenever they’re announced. @btc_angela I’ll agree with you and @slaman29 these whales play in a different league, but someday I hope we too will be able to play big bets like them.
Yes, i've notice it too since Hdf is been here on Bitdice for too long and now he came back.Quite surprised that there were new faces on the leaderboard which means Bitdice is doing pretty well to attract new players.

Yep, HDF is a beast, I do hope that he has a forum account though, at least we can also interact with him. Again, as I have said before, new faces come in and makes Bitdice their home because they know that they are in the good hands and they feel very comfortable that they are going to get paid here.
Talking about new faces then this week speaks for itself. lol
.. snip ..
I would consider this sharks, Lol, but definitely they are in and it's possible that they can be whales in the future specially if they won big and try to get into the next level of betting (1 BTC'ish)

@BTCevo -sometimes people are willing to try their luck and put everything in line, including those people who's salary are around $8k per year. If you are going around casino's lately (traditional based), I noticed a lot of people just looking for their luck regardless if they are making just $8k or $80k, in my opinion.
Its just the beginning of the week and its just normal to see those small numbers initially and you can point out which of them do plays bigtime or just on average but those numbers
arent really that something that anyone can reach out.

People do have different goals when they do gamble and their actions will vary on their financial capacity yet its dumb to go all in to gamble if you do know
that you are insufficiently funded or just simply fully relying on your salary on daily living.
4911  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: September 30, 2019, 08:30:54 PM
It is always awesome to see some new faces come into the leaderboard. There isn't really that many rich people all around the world, think about how much one bitcoin worths and check out the leaderboard that way. The problem with bitcoin is when someone says "I wagered 1 bitcoin" you don't instantly thought about 8 thousand dollars, 8 thousand dollars is literally one year salary of millions of people around the world, even higher than that.

I am not joking, check out the number of minimum salary workers around the world and check out how much minimum salary is in that country and you will see that there are hundreds of millions of people who work for a whole year and make less than 8 thousand dollars. There are people who wager 3+ on this leaderboards all the time.
Well, thats life which theres poor and rich ones and for us average joe's do see these numbers would really got amazed and i cant deny into that.
I cant even wager for as much of $1000 maximum but these guys do able to reach it for a few bets which do really amaze me.Wagering 1 Bitcoin doesnt mean that you do need 1 whole btc and wager it yet same as being said above you can reach it even you do had 0.3-0.5 btc depending on how you do bet.
4912  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitvest.io Sucks, Admin cheat and dont pay, WARNING DONT PLAY ON BITVEST on: September 30, 2019, 04:05:03 PM

What you have just stated is not enough to claim scam really and I don't think anyone would want to agree with you. In  the site defense, their argument would be that payment is done manually in other for them to do some 'verification' which is normal in the gambling world in other for them to keep their platform safe at the same time comply with standard. For you not to wait for them to complete that process, then its your fault. As much as 24hours is long to receive your funds, I don't think its too long for you to wait in other to have a convincing argument that they fail to pay you.

Now this is the way out, since you have the ability to win which you have done two times conveniently, why don't you do it again but rather than canceling your withdrawal to wager it, try to work on the pressure and the temptation by not falling for it. Its after that same thing happen, you can open scam accusation thread.
You will surely complain on this kind of system. Why? Most gambling sites nowadays already have instant payments and there's no such need of that further verification which would lead to manual approval on withdrawals and having an empty hot wallet from time to time is somewhat shady on my view.As a business you should maintain those storage to have
funds inside so that anytime theres a request it would be processed directly without any problem.
4913  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoBit Signature Campaign (Bitcointalk) on: September 30, 2019, 03:31:48 PM
Currently there are 300+ participants of this campaign ....

That's a big number already, more participants than the combined number of participants from yahoo's other campaigns IMO.

But please excuse me,I was just wondering where do you get the data? I'd love to check it myself too.
joniboini already give out the link and this list is getting bigger and bigger everyday which it do proves out that lots of people are abusing their campaign.
Im even seeing that there are even full members or member ranks joined up the campaign. How is this possible? Yobit platform bots seems buggy.

In my opinion, off topic is kind of useless section so its just understandable if signature campaigns don't pay posts made there. There are lots of sections in the forum that you can get paid, why bother on off topic section mate?
Highly believe that off-topic boards give you out some fast reactions and able to comment without stressing yourself out.lol
Some people say off topic boards do counts and some were'nt. Why not try for yourself?
4914  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Developments Can Put Bitcoin Upwards Again? on: September 30, 2019, 02:59:50 PM
We wont see any development further more with BTC but at least we do see that its developers does still continue to support it.
Seriously?

Take a look on how many forked coins we do had out of BTC? They are somewhat much better than into its parent coin but still
the support it do had doesnt still change which means people do recognize the origin of these coins. We cant avoid the fact that it is somewhat
outdated compared to those or even to alts but its doing pretty well after all these 10 years passed.
They are not better. The only notable BTC fork out there, is BCH. BCH is pretty much just faster because almost no one is using it, and because it's pretty much speed in exchange for a lot less decentralization and security. If you think BTC is outdated, you really need to read more.
Nah im reading up and LN just recently hit up that 10k nodes but still we are on further development.Im not a fan of BCH though no matter how fast it is.

You need to redesign that site bro. It's kinda crappy and not trust worthy. Not hatting, just is..
Not kinda but a total crappy site. How do i trust such service if the design alone isnt pleasant on the eyes? Next, i dont believe on having that no documentation.lol
4917  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Developments Can Put Bitcoin Upwards Again? on: September 30, 2019, 01:56:08 PM
Development! I doubt anything needs to be done in terms of development.

The halving next year will definitely bring a surge in price if history repeats itself. Halving is a big event in Bitcoin's ecosystem. More natural growth and new investors can bring an organic price surge.
We wont see any development further more with BTC but at least we do see that its developers does still continue to support it.

4918  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] iScratch.it - Scratch for bitcoin on: September 30, 2019, 11:22:24 AM
Instead of getting sucked into confrontational rhetoric, I’ll try to use the critique for something positive.
So, I’ll go back to the drawing board, run some numbers, play with some ideas, and see if I can come up with something that works.
There are plenty of online casinos that would love to take your money, I will not go that route.
Im impressed on what you are trying to achieve or your main goal and yes you arent getting money from your players but you are still monetizing them.
Its good to look that you are taking these criticism positively rather than on getting angry with it which is nice.I do complain also that there are lots of ads popping
out anytime i do click up and same as others said this is really annoying but as part of monetizing its considerable and we all know that you cant please anybody on here.
4919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why does BCH use BTC to gain popularity? on: September 30, 2019, 10:51:38 AM
Its a Forked coin of BTC and its just normal for them to use up BTC's name for their increase of reputation but they do go overboard which is really bad.
Total BS movement for them claiming that they are the real Bitcoin.Whut? https://news.bitcoin.com/12-reasons-bitcoin-cash-real-bitcoin/
They do even derailing people to their own site Bitcoin.com that BCH is Bitcoin.lol
4920  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitcasino.io Receive Free Bitcoin and Ethereum on: September 29, 2019, 10:30:31 PM
Hi parfumatul,
We’ve recently been made aware of a promotional email circulating from us with the subject line “Receive Free Bitcoin and Ethereum With Bitcasino” with fraudulent purposes, so-called Social Engineering.
It’s important for you to know that the email contained fraudulent Bitcoin and Ethereum wallet addresses where you were asked to deposit funds to receive future interest. These are not Bitcasino wallet addresses, please do not transfer any funds.

The email was not an official Bitcasino email we never sent it out, and furthermore, our security team have confirmed this email was sent out after our promotional email software was hacked.
We are currently working with them to ensure this issue is resolved.

If you would like any further information or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Karl

It would be great if you send out an email regarding this email and the hack so that they know about it. Good that I saw this threat but it seemed fishy that you guys come up with promotional event like this.

i do agree with that! not all users will have the chance to encounter this thread and read whats really going on. but a promo like that is already questionable, check for the authenticity of the email, a user should not jump easily in a very attractive offer. remember, if it is too good to be true, doubt its intentions!
People do mostly forget on how to follow up the basic rules when dealing things that do involves money/promotion/offers etc.

-Checking the origin of the mail
-If theres an address - then most likely its a scam where it do commands you to deposit on.

As i read up above their promotional email software been hacked.
