4901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest in new project? on: February 15, 2022, 12:20:17 PM
Nowadays people find it easy to create their own coins copy/paste the codes, write a white paper, make a roadmap. Finally they promote in possible ways and try to make the best out of it. What is this ? This is a new trend of creating tokens/projects associated with the incidents taking place. Same as that to grab easy attention it is named valentine.finance which itself a trap.

It is always good choice to invest into new projects, but we need to have the learning to understand which is the legit one and which is the trap. Else, it is always good to invest on the top cryptocurrencies.

Even though most of the new coins are useless and copy paste of other projects, developed to make money only. However, there are few good projects in between which are worth investing. If you can find them at early stages, they could proof to be a very good investments.
Yes, i will advice you to invest in few good projects but with limited amount of money. Its like taking a risk which can make you millionare with 100x returns.
4902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin 🐕‍🦺 1$ possible in 2022 or not? on: February 15, 2022, 12:07:07 PM
dogecoin is a coin meme that has its own charm, especially when Elon Musk pumps it up with his tweets, and almost $1 at that time,
for 2022 we are waiting for the miracle to return, the doge will touch 1$ later, all hope in the coin must be there
(entertain yourself and hope to get a surprise from DOGE)

Elon musk is still behind the dogecoin and also there is some development going on with this project code. I think 1$ for dogecoin is very much possible however it may take some time.

Although i don't like Meme coins but dogecoin has turned into something worth investment  after the involvement of Elon Musk.
4903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making valentine's day memorable with bitcoins. on: February 15, 2022, 09:52:47 AM
Try sending someone you love a gift related to love NFTs, I find it quite interesting and special.
Or you can also spend a certain amount of crypto and send it to your loved one by date of birth with 1402, I believe these will help you have a memorable Valentine's Day.

NFT is a very good way to say modern day valentines wishes and gift. Giving direct bitcoins to your loved ones may not sound so impressive and attactive as compare to giving unique attactive NFTs. This is a good idea and i may also implement this on the next valentine  Smiley

This could be anohter use case of NFTs as valentines, marriages and birthday wishes.
4904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have concluded that all governments together can't stop bitcoin on: February 15, 2022, 09:25:38 AM
I get to be thinking what about all the government of the world unite and decide to stop bitcoin and cryptocurrency ?  Grin

I have wondered if this is possible to happen despite bitcoin being decentralized. Within me, I don't think that is no more possible because bitcoin is now unstoppable. Just like water is to the fish, bitcoin is the light of the earth.

What do you say yourself ?
As you must have known by now that the impossibility is that all Government of the world come together as one to stop Bitcoin as some countries have already started accepting Bitcoin as a legal tender while others are looking into the same direction even if not confirmed yet and the way Bitcoin is Developed as a Decentralize entity which is not really controlled by a single person, that makes it even more difficult to completely stop by any one or group of Government.

Even though few countries have made bitcoin legal, others may also thinking of making bitcoin, a legal tender. However, the majority of the governments will not accept it and they may even impose trade cut off with those countries who accpet bitcoin. Even all the government unite to control or ban crypto, yet the model developed by satoshi is soo good and decentralized that it cannot be banned practically.
4905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is A Better Option Than Fiat Money? on: February 15, 2022, 06:56:13 AM
bitcoin has many advantages

fiat has many advantages

That's why I don't see any reason to make comparisons.

for example:

fiat is recognized by governments which allows it to be used in countries, everything you buy uses fiat, people receive a salary using fiat, but there are maximum values for walking on the street with fiat, something that does not happen with bitcoin where the person can be their own bank

I dont consider this advantages for the fiat money. Fiat money is controlled by the governments and they can print as money currecny as they want. They do provide the security and take responisbily of the currecny, but they never promise you for inflation free economy.  Bitcoin is volatile and have some little issues but these can be easily resolved once it is adopted by everyone. Government dont reconzinge bitcoins but who cares. They always want to make us slaves by controlling us and not providing the public with finicial freedom.
4906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesn't have a bright future anymore on: February 15, 2022, 05:01:37 AM

As long as Bitcoin is the number 1 cryptocurrency, it will be a very safe bet as a future money.

I highly recommend looking into crypto a bit more. You have much to learn.

Bitcoin will remain as the number one currecny and there is no way any other altcoin flip the bitcoin on coinmarketcap. Ethereum may have this potential but it will not be possible because there are many investors who  solely wants to invest in bitcoins. Only bitcoin has a true limited supply and 100% decentralzied. If you clsoely examine bitcoins with other altcoins, who will feel the difference and if crypto market gets more adopted, bitcoin will be a major part of it.
4907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin War on: February 15, 2022, 04:29:52 AM
Authoritarian governments would very certainly fight to maintain their use of money as a control device.

Do you anticipate a future in which there is a large-scale battle between pro-and anti-Bitcoin nations?

I don't believe that's a very likely scenario, but it's a concept I've had, and I'd want to hear your thoughts on it.

Thanks!

Why would there would be a war between those nation who accept bitcoins and those who do not accept bitcoins ?

This is the internal countires descsion and it has nothing to do with the outside world. However in order to build pressure on those who legalizes bitcoins, the other anti bitcoin nations may try to enforce sactions on them through international monetary department.  Even if there is a war, it wont be a  physical one.
4908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 15, 2022, 04:09:21 AM
Media job is to create hype and its not limited to India and Pakistan, see the role of global media in pandemic they only spread news that has spice in it. In any of the ICC event, Pakistan India match is the most electrified match perhaps more important than then the final. ICC must step in and made it compulsory for both countries to play bilateral series.

Forget about any bilateral series between these two nations for the next  20 years at least. The political spectrum in both India and Pakistan has moved very hard to the right and extreme voices are having complete dominance as of now. As per the scheduling, India was supposed to visit Pakistan one and half decades back, but they pulled out citing border clashes and terror attacks. The ICC has adopted a neutral stance on this matter, saying that the two countries should resolve the differences amicably.

Yeah, i dont see both countires playing  series aganist each other either in india or pakistan. We can only see their matches in ICC worldcups or asia cup etc. I know the political situation in both the countries is not good but how about ICC arranging a series between them on a neutral ground like UAE ? In this way both countries will be able to play, people will get entertian and ICC can generate a lot of money.
4909  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touched $43k, from $33k in two weeks on: February 15, 2022, 03:54:28 AM
In my opinion, the price of bitcoin will still experience a bullish trend in the midst of a green market like today. Although later the price will drop occasionally and that is only natural because crypto prices often experience rapid increases and decreases. Therefore it seems that the next bitcoin price target will be around $48k within this week.

Droping of bitcoin price to 1000 - 2000$ is normal and we cannot say that will trigger the chnage of structure. However, in case bitcoin drops to 5000$ points, then it can be some thing to worry about. Also, since the future market is very popular, we never know if the bitcoin price dumps signifiantly and then pump back up giving traders a false break and liquidiate them. As long as bitcoin is above key supports level, we are in bullish momentum.
4910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto stuck in sports betting site, now they want KYC on: February 14, 2022, 10:05:34 AM
Sadly you already broke their terms and conditions by using VPN and fake numbers. Though if found someone to do KYC the phone number would be an issue again. Because the phone number you provided is from a restricted country. When you are using gambling sites read their terms and conditions. Violating that would lead to a loss like now. Often gambling sites look to eat your money, so they detect your violation somehow and wouldn't help you in these conditions. But if they are fair enough then likely there is hope. Otherwise hard to withdraw from there.

In this case, if the gambling site refuses to pay, no one can call them scam and unfortunately they have the rights to not return the funds.  We need to comply the site rules and if we bypass the restrcitions using vpn or any other fake verficatin metods, there is  a risk of losing money in case the sites get to know about it.
If sites require KYC, then never use VPN to by pass the restrictions only becasue your country is banned. Why it is so important to play at the banned sites when lots of other legit sites are avaiable ?
4911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in Rocket 🚀 mood. on: February 14, 2022, 09:36:37 AM
This is so amazing to observe how easy it is to manipulate people. Every time Bitcoin price looses several thousands, and topics with content "hold" and "we are going to the bottom" appear immediately. Every time Bitcoin prices gains several thousands in short period after a loss, and topics "recovered", "rocket", "bull trend" appear in to time. Bitcoin is not a rocket, we are not even close to ATH, and in fact, we are on the same level we were month ago. Conclusion, in a month nothing has changed with Bitcoin price.

That's kinda normal in any social media platforms, forums, and other Cryptocurrency discussion websites. People would always talk about the price because that's the main reason of our concern. Though we have a different perception when Bitcoin dips or rise.
People tend to calm themselves seeing positive reviews and predictions during the bearish season, and will probably try to tell people to hold and accumulate more when Bitcoin is on a bullish momentum (which should be the other way around)
After all, we are all trying to manipulate the people forcing them to believe what we think is right for Bitcoin lol.

You are right, this is kinda usual for us. So what is now? We have -2-4% from yesterdays highest price. Soon people would wake up, check cmc, coingecko or any other tracker on their mobile phones and will rush to forum, to create hold-bear-buy deep-sell-make predictions-post graphs-try to act as an analytic posts. But the fact is, the rocket isnt flying anywhere close to moon, it just flies parallel land Smiley

The media also plays a big role in creating the hype for the bull run or make us lose all hopes when the price is moving downwards. The twiiter, facebook crypto groups, the telegram groups all contribute to develop this kind of mood and when btcoin does not move like a rocket, its creates panic and frustrations among the holders.
We need to be realistic and look at the long term aspect on the bitcoin bullishness.
4912  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto will rival or replace fiat in 10 years? on: February 14, 2022, 09:12:44 AM
Never allow ?   Even in USSR people still used dollars to trade despite it being totally outlawed, why because it was the most efficient way to trade.   The free market is substantially more powerful then governments even military based dictatorships.
I would still think it will take more then 5 years before the majority or even a large amount of trade is carried out via alternative digital assets.  I think generally the path of least resistance is what will occur, most people are poor and hold onto their money only for a few days a week before some other entity has it.    If we all had 1 years worth of wages to take care of (in cash) we'd not be using the junk standard that is FIAT currently but most are transitionary in their use of currency & so to digital must be efficient in that type of immediate use economy in order to take over.

Everythinig takes time for adoption and it is very much clear that it iwll not be easy to completely elinimate the fiat and adopt bitcoin. It will happen but at a slow pace in the start. Governments need to find out how they can control the bitcoin and how they can tax them. If they are unable to find solution for these, they will never allow crypto to become mainstream.
However we do see adoption by few countires and i hope this trend will contiune. I have big hopes that by 2030, almost half of the world governemts will accept bitcoin.
4913  Economy / Services / Re: I provide coinmarketcap listing consultancy on: February 14, 2022, 08:51:43 AM

However, I will receive my initial application service fee just before the application is submitted.

In other words, before the project owners pay me, I will get a lot of information from them during the application, I will share the texts I have prepared with them and I will make them correct the deficiencies.

What if after you prepare the case and submit the application to coinmarketcap, they still reject the applciation ? Will you refund the money in that case ? (the money spent in preparation)

Secondly, getting approval from coinmarketcap is the main thing and i dont think anyone should risk money with a newbie account. I advise to use escorw which should only be relased once the coin is listed on coinmarketcap.
4914  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on its way to $100000?! on: February 14, 2022, 08:28:27 AM
The current state of Bitcoin is much better. Bitcoin has some support levels. If these levels go down, then there is a possibility of price reduction. However, the price of Bitcoin has dropped dramatically. He also recovered in a few weeks. But I don't think Bitcoin will ever go to 10K. I think it will be 100K by 2023. I think there is a possibility of a good pump at the end of this year.
It is impossible for bitcoin to reach 10k, this is unlikely to happen in the next two or five years, bitcoin has progressed highly from its inception, the long process that has gone through has made bitcoin even more valuable, the current correction process does not make an excuse that bitcoin will drop drastically towards 10K, even the one that I see in the next year bitcoin will reach 100k, because the correction process will return to normal in the next few months.

It is always hard to predict exactly when can bitcoin reaches 50,000$ or 100000$ ? Usually, when everyone expects bitcoin to move up, it rarly goes in the direction of the anticipations by the majority. Bitcoin usually suprises us and move unexpectedly. When bttcoin reach 4000$ in March 2020, no one would have thought that it can reach 69K in a years time only.
I never make up my mind on bitcoin targets as when they will reach them but i know some day bitcoin will reach 100000$.
4915  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: February 14, 2022, 06:53:06 AM
People see investment from different perspectives, you can't really blame them if they panic sell. Some people are just being careful with their money. We know it'll go up in the future, But what if you need to use the money already? Not everyone can wait for tomorrow. Some may e ven have pressing needs.
Panic sell when you dont have enough experience on how this market behaves but if theres one then you could definitely hold up on what you are holding since you do believe that you could get something from that.

Every person does have its own decision when it comes to their assets that been holding, some might really secure profits into those pumping times or making out some cut losses which turns out to be looks like

a panic sell but it wasnt. Not all people who do able to see was actually on panic because there are some who do cut losses.

There are many reason for panic selling and sometimes people know the potential of bitcoins but still they sell because they do not have the power of holding. Some people invest in bitcoin to get quick profits and if there is a dump, they just sell thier investments in a loss. Others have invested their money which they needed in some other important tasks and they can't wait for bitcoin prices to recover.
4916  Economy / Speculation / Re: How come BTC is not at least $75,000 yet? on: February 14, 2022, 05:08:42 AM
Most of the crowd is not in the game yet. We think that worlds most population is using the bitcoin in first place but they are not really. There is still long journey for bitcoin. Government is also majorly disturbing the flow of bitcoin usage by their schemes like national digital currency and confusing peeps.

However, this will change. This will be a gradual change and once it goes to next stage you will be asking how the heck bitcoin got this much price.  So stay tuned and stick to it!

When you see how many people actully know about bitcoins and then how many people actually invested in bitcoin, then we will come to know that still a lot of people are unaware of bitcoins. Once you see these people buying bitcoins and entering the crypto market, we will see a big increase in marketcap and also increase in the price of bitcoins. $75,000 will be very less price of bitcoins as bitcoin has limited supply and the demand wil be very high.
4917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn’t KYC anti-ethical to Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2022, 04:51:24 AM
When i first heard about bitcoin, one of the selling points then was the pseudo anonymity. But as of recently, it is hard to purchase any crypto without encountering a form of KYC.

I’m just curious of everyone’s thought on this.

The orginial theme and concept of bitcoin was to provide the anonymity but all humans are not perfect. There are people who try to take advantage of this and may involve in illegal activities. In order to minize the risk, the centralized exchangess have no option but to enforce kyc.
Yes, many people dont like this and have no bad intent also, but we have to comply to this kyc requirement.
4918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India's confusing crypto bill on: February 14, 2022, 04:29:59 AM
Recently India has passed a crypto bill to tax crypto income by 30% but at the same time claiming that taxing cryptos doesn't make them legal and states it's country's sovereign right to tax crypto and this atrocity doesn't stop here as they have mentioned that the decision about banning crypto or legalizing it will taken after further consultation.

Can they tax something which is not legal? How can a country tax something which is not legal? Moreover they still have plans of banning crypto since they are not clear about their stands on legalization. Not sure if it's an attempt to unofficially break the crypto market in India or what's going on.

Share your thoughts on this.

Source: https://www.businessinsider.in/cryptocurrency/news/taxing-cryptocurrencies-does-not-give-them-legal-status-clarifies-indias-finance-minister/articleshow/89500097.cms

As i understand this, india will impose 30% taxes on crypto, once they legalize it. How can they offically take tax from soemthing which is not yet legal in thier country.
However i do not believe this is the fianl verdict of the government, there may be many twists and change in statements. Consider the example of russia as they also given such statemnets of legalization of bitcoin and then not to legalize it.
Governments look really confused when it comes on the legal status of bitcoin.
4919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin thief on Bitfinex exchange caught? on: February 14, 2022, 03:55:42 AM
Caught or not, compensate to users or not, it does not have effects on Bitcoin in the long run. Because the times when exchanges store all or most of their capital in hot wallets which are more vulnerable to hacks has gone away years ago.

Nowadays, crypto exchanges have better strategies and infrastructures to deal against hacks, compromise, fund stealing. Hackers can successfully hack and steal some fund but not enough to crack down any good exchange.

Also good exchanges do have enough reserved fund to compensate users and sacrifice their earnings from trading fees during few months. It's unofficially help them to build up reputation and in long run will help them to get more customers, then more income.
Currently the US Justice Department has confiscated around 94,000 bitcoins from the case, if we look at it from a legal point of view, of course all the evidence will be returned to its rightful owner after the trial has been carried out, in this case Bitfinex is a platform that has the responsibility to return all the hacked assets to the users or owners, but what I wonder if the hacking case is revealed after quite a long time and we all know the FBI is one department that has great people and is supported by advanced technology, but it still takes time long time to catch the hackers,  great is it that the hackers are able to avoid the FBI?

The activities that have been monitored for the last 5 years have caught them off guard and finally when greed begins to make them shop without realizing that everything is monitored in their every move. Several transactions share various addresses then the government, especially the FBI, investigates very carefully. The last hope is that everything is returned to the right party because it has been lost for several years. As a result, until now we do not know what the next action will be, such as the motives and people who are indicated to have a close relationship with the hacking.

Many people say that bitcoin is untracable and can be used for money laudering etc. This incident shows us that nothong is hidden on bitcoin blockchain and if you monitor it closely you can trace anyone.
I am happy that the bitcoin theif at bitfinex exchange caught and the bitcoins are recovered from him. Though, it took a lot of time but in the end the thief finally arrested.
4920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Uniswap Token to $50? on: February 11, 2022, 01:57:44 PM
I've seen somewhere that Uniswap V3 will be launched sometime this year. The code is already available on GitHub. Based on what I've read online, the new Uniswap iteration will make use of off-chain solutions in order to deal with high fees and slow transaction confirmation times. This will make trades faster and cheaper than ever before. I'm starting to wonder the impact of "UNI" token's price as the new Uniswap V3 platform becomes extremely popular in the mainstream world.

Do you think the Uniswap token will reach $50 soon? If not why? What is your prediction for UNI's price after the launch of V3? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

For sure, when there is any update in the token, there is always hype, and the price increases. However, we need to see the overall structure of the crypto market at that time. Sometimes the project updates are released at a time when bitcoin is in bearish mode. In those times, even these events fail to make the coin pump. Therefore we should only invest in coins for an only certain amount and do not allocate the whole portfolio in one coin because of the event.
