We have heard all the news about countries deciding to make bitcoin as legal, the latest being Russia and Ukraine as they both are also in some political problem. Obviously with this new statement that has been made on bitcoin status in those countries, it could be regulated by the government.
What is your expectation of bitcoin ?
I was expecting something big changes to happen in bitcoin market since last 10 days but nothing happened anything like that which mean the political tension between Russia and Ukraine is not significantly impacting bitcoin market anymore. At the same time, if they are making bitcoin legal in their countries then stories will be completely different but I wish war cannot be a reason for bitcoin to get into bullish mode, basically. I am not having any changes in my view on bitcoin market since the times of last ATH occurrence. I mean there are still plenty of chances for bitcoin to get into $100k levels by mid of this year. Pandemic crisis are settling down and we may see peace talk progress from Russia hence expectation of $100 is still alive with me. The effect of the war is confusing, initially the price went down the minute Putin goes on live TV and declare war. But after that, the price seems to be not affected as we goes up like to $45k in matter of days. And now the market seems to be very different, we are now below $40k levels, so there is a retracement that we are seeing and maybe this is because of the war or something else. |

He should be better in the next season if the Rockets would still give him a chance to play more minutes. Yes, I agree. Green has a lot of room for improving and he is just starting that. Gaining experience and soon the consistency will be there. Rockets is actually a strong team but they are young, prone to mistakes and bad choices during game time. I wish Rockets management will build on their trio, KPJ, Sengun, and Green. Let them have their chemistry and not trade them for anyone. That lineup is not enough to be a championship team, or a playoff team, just my personal opinion though, but I think they need a real all star to join them and lead the team. This team is used to be a good team, they had Harden, it was a playoff team but later Harden was traded, and WB as well. So not much expectation for the team now, but let's see how the management will experiment to improve the team next season. Don't make a quick judgment yet, who knows, they might surprise us and be in the playoffs next season, at least getting in the playoffs is already a big success of this team that does not have many high-paid players. If there's still room for their salary cap, maybe they can just add some players without letting go of the role players of the team and the starters. Personally I also don't think that the Rockets will improve under the current lineup, they need to add or let go of some players if they want to improve. They have the whole season already and they are at the bottom now in the West with 16 wins and 48 loses, so it's hard to expect a sudden big improvement in the next season. You also have to look at how young the Rockets are, they are too inexperienced and that's one reason that they are in the bottom. They need someone to lead the team, so it's going to be very difficult for the management as well to get the right personnel, and spending big money to acquire that superstar. They have done it before, getting Harden and Chris Paul and it almost work getting a championship if not for Curry and the Warriors. |

It is very difficult to predict with certainty when there will be Bullish and Bearish bitcoin going forward because there are so many factors that can affect the market going forward, let alone the adoption of bitcoin by large institutions is increasing. However, as a long-term investment bitcoin is still very profitable going forward.
Taking that factor into account, we may say that we are in a bearish situation. You just have to look at the price, in a span of four months, the price goes from an all time high to currently $38k. And then we have the negative news, like the war and still the effect of covid-19 is still around us. Definitely, if you are going to look at it, better to invest for long term, or at least wait for the next bitcoin halving and then the eventual bull-run. for now I prefer bitcoin to be invested in the long term, but if you want to get a small profit maybe you can also use it now, but it is still very speculative in my view, the current condition of bitcoin is in an up and down condition, very difficult to control in the short term, so from that I prefer long term investment now, the effects of covid-19 and the latest war cases are affecting bitcoin for now, but we don't know for sure how long this will end Yeah, why not? there are traders who really take advantage of the volatility of bitcoin and still makes money in the bear market. It might be very difficult though, but still if you have the experience then go for it. But for those who doesn't have the time, it's better to invest, DCA or buy during the dip and then just HODL. |

It's pretty obvious that this kind of crypto are there to help investors fight volatility. So it can be used to hedge your money if you are afraid that for example, bitcoin might go down. But we really don't know if stable coins are back up 1:1 in terms of cash reserves, that is the main argument against them for many years now. So holding them now doesn't mean you are holding US dollar, of course they could be pegged in US dollar, but what if there is a rampant withdrawal? sort of a bank ran? So there is the danger with using them as so called safe heaven, for me, it's better if you put your wealth in crypto like BTC.

Hi Guys, i would like to discuss a thought. Russia is experiencing heavy sanctions by EU and US, especially the SWIFT Ban from the EU is a hard one. So what would happen if Russia went full adoption on BTC as this would be an unregulated alternative. In my opinion, this could throw BTC in a black hole, as US and Europe would be forced to ban or regulate it to death. I think even some investors hold their Bitcoin for few months or years after buying at early stage, probably after seeing a major pump they already sell their Bitcoin not knowing it can increase further. So now we come to realized the wrong decision we committed for not having trust about Bitcoin.
Not always the case. I personally spoke to one who exited at $10k. That was his target, he felt sure it would go even higher (this was in 2017) but he'd held for as long as he'd planned, and exited according to plan. I don't think he looks back with any regret. It was life-changing at $10k, as I'm sure it was life-changing for others at $68k, as I'm certain it'll be life-changing for others down the line, who've held with the same beliefs. Yeah, I think there should be no regrets who those who have some price in mind before they exit. Maybe the issue is for those who exited early without any plans, just buy the hype before and then when the price goes down and s*t, they panic and hurriedly push the sell button. And those are the same people who are now regretting it, even going to social media to rant about their stupidity. But who knows, no one see bitcoin going into 5 digits or even 6 digits in the future. |

Hindi naman siguro kasi crypto ang bitcoin kaya hindi masyadong affected sa crisis. In fact, meron ngang news na i legalized na ng Ukraine ang bitcoin sa kanilang country, kaya tingin ko positive talaga. Actually, hindi naman puro paangat ang crypto, gaya ng dati, meron ding bear market. Mahirap talaga mag speculate pero tingnan mo ang galawan, pag atake ni Putin lagapak tayo sa $35k. Tapos biglang angat sa almost $40k, tapos ngayon pag gising ko ng madaling araw lagpas $41k at mukang mag $42k pa to. Kaya kakaiba ang movement ngayong ng market. Although naniniwala rin ako na nasa bear market na tayo, pero hindi ito katulad ng galaw nung 2018. Kaya obserbahan parin natin ang epekto ng giyera sa pagitan ng Russia at Ukraine at ano ang epekto nito sa market. As of this writing, nasa $43k+ na ang bitcoin sa coingecko at mukhang patuloy pa itong tataas. Di kaya resulta na ito sa pag-ban ng Russia sa SWIFT at yong mga Russians ay sa bitcoin/crypto nalang nila pinadaan yong pera nila? May nabasa kasi ako na isa sa mga option kapag tuluyan ng ma-ban sa SWIFT ay yong cryptocurrency kaya makakatulong ito sa pag-angat ng bitcoin pansamantala. At ngayon, after nating pumalo sa $45k at medyo bumaba sa $43k then naging volatile sa price nato, nasa below $40k na naman tayo. Dahil parin siguro to sa giyera na nangyayari sa pagitan ng Ukraine at Russia, talagang matapang is Putin, patibayan na lang to sa dulo, gas ng Russia sa UE or sanction ng West laban sa kanila. Pero syempre ang kawawa eh tayong lahat at sana lang makita ng buong mundo ang kahalagan ng crypto at bitcoin bilang hedge sa mga ganitong kaganapan para at least ma maintain natin ang $40k-$50k. |

James Harden must be enjoying his game at 76ers now. His statistics so far proves this I think. And he was great last night too against Cavaliers. He had a big role in the victory there. But the game was still really close as Cavaliers made a big effort too. They also are one of the very impressive teams this season and they really seem like they will do a good job in the playoffs like I think the same about 76ers too. We can watch a really interesting playoff stage this time I believe.
Yeah, Harden fits really well with Embiid and both seem to be happy to move on from diva teammates. However, with Harden he has a track record of starting really strong and then fizzling out as his relationship with the front office deteriorates. So definitely don't hold unreasonable expectations for him. They can really make a run if Tobias Harris is contributing this year. Yeah Tobias seems like the odd guy out here. Watching the games it's almost as if he is an after thought. They are giving 5 points tonight to Miami. Should be a great game. Gonna pop it on after the duke game is over. Not a huge fan of Harden and his game but I hope he meshes and figures it out in philly. Tobias Harris should really step up in this game, could be a good shooting game with Herro on the other side. Remember that his name pop up in the conversation on the trade involving Simmons. But now he is safe with the Sixers but he should perform better this year otherwise he could be in the trading block next season. |

Is crypto now more than a speculative asset or just the same old thing based on hypes only because it seems like real life use case is far from crypto, we want it to happen for real but it's really not happening, what is stopping this from happening already.
We are in a period that a token has a purpose to gain support and investor, it can't just exist because it's a fork of these tokens or coin investors will look for usage and purpose, investors are losing from the pump and dump coins, yet developers keep creating speculative coins the only way to stop this is to stop and ignoring these kinds of coins if no one will invest no developers will create. That's what we call investors maturity, I mean those who have been in the game already knows that newly created tokens with no utility whatsoever are just for short term investments because they are going to be used for pump and dump by the developers to enrich themselves and the only losers are the investors. But we are hardened by the experience, only new to the market will fall for this copy cat and fork coins that don't have any utility at all. |

Agreed. However, Terence Crawford's next fight will be vs. Keith Thurman. According to some articles, Ugas wants to fight Crawford if he wins but it appears Errol Spence wants to avoid Crawford if he wins. I reckon the promoters might organize this when they are already not in their top shape similar to Brook versus Khan. Oh yeah? I think I didn't heard about that because the first rumored fight of Keith Thurman is against Donaire but again it was just also a rumored one, anyway we can only do some speculations and the promoters will have the last say if indeed it will be good for their boxer, or if the is too good. We cannot really know for sure if who's going to face Keith Thurman next. That's all fake news, this guys are a bantamweight fighter, just 115-118 lbs, so there's no way that they are going to jump to 147 lbs and fight Thurman. Unless you are a Pacquiao or Canelo Alvarez.
We will see who is fighting who base on the result of this fight. Lots of rumors going on, of course the big fight we all wanted is Crawford vs Spence, but still Spence has go and win against Ugas first and then they can sit down and talk about the money and purse. I can only speculate on bitcoin right now, perhaps when the war is over and people again started to realized that maybe bitcoin could be a good hedge and store of value in extreme cases, maybe it will remain high but not into the tune of we will see a new all time high. Perhaps enough to say that we are somewhat in the middle ground, as others may have said that we are in a bear market, but at least no drastic and dramatic down ward spiral.
