Rick is obviously in the right here but it really burns me that this serves as a boost to his credentials on the heels of him likely running for President. If people thought the US military was bulls on parade back during the Bush years, you're gonna be in for something special if this guy is elected. Which is why we all need to get behind Rand Paul.
Democrats will make sure to turn Perry into Bush 2.0 because he is from Texas (stupid cowboys, stupid farmers, illiterates, worse of the worse, not like us intellectuals) I am not even sure Rand wants to be president. Whether he wants to or not, he's sure indicating he's doing everything he can to build a team and donor base to do so. Not to mention the reaching out to minorities shows that he really wants to be the leader of growing the GOP so all signs point to his initiative in the matter. I'm chronicling all of this in my thread about him. I totally agree that the dems will portray Perry as another Bush but let's face it, most Americans are fiending for something different right now.

Suspended indefinitely for pointing a semi-automatic assault rifle at a peaceful demonstrator![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi61.tinypic.com%2F2lkfxpu.jpg&t=663&c=FI3muSgaz0DQcA) A St. Louis-area police officer was suspended indefinitely on Wednesday for pointing a semi-automatic assault rifle at a peaceful demonstrator as tensions flared during protests over the Aug. 9 police shooting of black teenager Michael Brown.
The incident just before midnight on Tuesday punctuated the 11th straight night of racially charged demonstrations in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson, Missouri, since Brown, an unarmed 18-year-old, was slain by a white police officer.
No one was hurt in the gun-pointing confrontation, but the incident underscored what many have criticized as heavy-handed and unprofessional police tactics that have helped stoke continuing civil unrest. More... http://www.businessinsider.com/r-policeman-suspended-for-pointing-rifle-at-protester-in-missouri-2014-8Only question is this paid administrative leave and will it be a lesson to the others to chill out. But to be fair, it's gotta be a tough position to be in when crowds are taunting you and you're on camera. Part of the job I guess.

Are you sure the airstrikes has something to do with James execution?
Think this is more like a coincident than anything else.
Its an aggression that shows that the US will not back down "just" because they kill one US journalist. Right, more bombings will lead to more beheadings and ultimately lead to an invasion. Just gotta keep feeding the boobs the PR and they'll go along w/ it and this will allow the govt a full shift away from domestic ills. Sad but this will be bullish for Bitcoin. Ex: ISIS Abducts More Westerners, Promises More BeheadingsOver the past six months Islamic jihadists in Syria have taken at least ten hostages from Western countries, including Spain, Denmark and France. The hostages were traded for ransom, but in the wake of the alleged execution of journalist James Foley the latest captives may suffer a more gruesome fate as the propaganda war ramps up ahead of a U.S. invasion of Syria.
The next victim will likely be Steven Sotloff, a freelance journalist who has contributed to Time and Foreign Policy. He was taken captive a year ago on the border of Turkey and Syria. Following the supposed execution of Foley, ISIS announced they will behead Sotloff if the United States continues its air strikes in Iraq.
The Obama administration and the Pentagon have announced they will continue attacking ISIS. On Wednesday, Obama said the U.S. would “do what we must to protect our people."
Although Obama insisted the U.S. does not plan to enter Syria, the administration later said several dozen special forces troops were on the ground there. More... http://www.infowars.com/isis-abducts-more-westerners-promises-beheadings/

That man was a disaster! Western civilizations downfall is partly this mans fault.
The more I think about it, the more I cannot find a single modern nightmare problem that Richard Nixon did not have a gigantic hand in. Although I do agree, Churchhill is a huge racist imperialist dick. Well, there are worse leaders: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Foi60.tinypic.com%2F2eyc9k5.jpg&t=663&c=v1_lfnXjjStT-g) the west used and screwed these guys too... hence the hermit(ness) They were the ones that invaded the south and their society is so hell bent on staying closed to outside information, they constantly blame their ills on an imperial west which we are. They'd be in even worse shape w/o their markets where smugglers bring in foreign products allowing the matriarchs to put food on the table through sales.

So from what I gathered they're working mainly on mobile apps and specifically one that is fingerprint based. I suppose the more they can trend BTC for mobile use the better. I'm still a little unclear about some of their other moves tho.

It might appear to just be a myth now but if you're familiar w/ Young Americans for Liberty or YAL, it's the national student org that rose from Ron's first prez run as a republican and has been expanding into lots of colleges across the country. Their growth rate has been pretty phenomenal and will likely crescendo leading up until the election in 2016 and beyond. And believe you me, this org is being primed to be a major tool for Rand and other liberty republicans. Check em out http://www.yaliberty.org/chapters

Most if not all of this QE is going into the stock market and that's their last big standing thing that's showing signs of life and rebound. Normal people are likely not that fooled about whether we're really turning things around. They toned it down to $65 Billion a month last time I believe so it'll likely be reduced to $60-55 Billion so as not to pull the rug out from underneath their baby too fast.

Sheesh, I say that out of a long standing habit rather than truly meaning it down to a Christian principle when others sneeze. But, yeah right, another viiiiiiictory for the progressive dronebats. My hat is off to the daycare-educational-bureaucrat for taking her job so seriously as to actually care enough to report this or make a scene about this. That said, it is rather annoying to hear someone blurt something out across the room if there's a test being taken just because someone sneezed. Hardly a reason for suspension tho.

Obama is just a sock puppet for something greater than himself.
Imperialism.
Yep and unless he's using his executive power to reign in the black ops of the CIA and their arming and training of terrorists in the middle east, then he's no better than the so-called neocons and their unilateral approach. It's like he's setting the table again to set the east on fire and then the neocons can take over and do what they do best. The only man capable of stopping all of this is Rand Paul and hopefully he knows what it takes to get elected President.

John McCain and his neocon-MIC brethren new damn well that whether or not these terrorists could topple Assad, they'd eventually be training and radicalizing others in the region while putting all these weapons in their hands. Eventually, something like this invasion in Iraq would happen and create more PR for the neocons to get more Americans or at least reclaim some of their lost republicans into accepting intervention again in Iraq. They know they can keep firing up these types of people and there's no shortage of them in the middle east. Note how they're always for using some type of military force all the time and whenever they can get the chance. Usually, behind the scenes they have the CIA slipping in the back door and funneling arms and training to gin up a situation. This has been happening for decades.

Good to hear. If China can lead the way then the rest of the world will have to follow or get left behind as the market matures and the pricing attains new levels.

It'll be interesting to track the progress of these guys and see if they're able to branch out to other countries as time goes by. Also, we'll see how the banks and older payment systems take to the increases in alternative payment methods.

If officer Wilson did indeed kill Michael Brown in cold blood....why didn't he shoot and kill his friend Dorian Johnson, the main witness to the shooting too? Dead men tell no tales...
The problem here that people find hard to understand is that a person who is unarmed can still be a threat to an openly armed person if they run up on you, which is allegedly what set this situation off. I'm not a stranger to how cops lie or operate but every situation needs to be taken individually and not this meme of the poor black, unarmed teenager being murdered based on sensationalism. People grow up fast on the streets and learn mostly bad habits in drug addled, welfare dependent and single mother homes. At first, even I was hot on the police's ass for perhaps shooting first and asking questions later but after the situation had developed I knew there were extenuating circumstances. This cop was travelling through the 'hood' by himself as a white guy and it sounds like he didn't escalate the situation but the other way around which is unfathomable that someone would rush a cop when they're merely telling you to get off the street. However, I was happy for average people who view the news to see how militarized these cops can be. Unfortunately, this is now front and center and all other societal ills are overshadowed and likely will be for some time. Depending on how things go, this could be a rallying cry by the democrats for the midterms.

The "check out yourself" kiosks at Meijers grocery chains here make life easier for me but likely has unemployed many cashiers over time. They also have these things at the casinos' food court these days.

President Obama went back to his vacation on Martha’s Vineyard Tuesday evening following less than 48 hours in Washington, leaving people puzzled over why he came back in the first place.
Obama’s two days in Washington were mostly quiet, and concluded with the president receiving his daily national security briefing in the morning, and joining Vice President Biden to huddle with members of his economic team in the afternoon.
Administration officials have insisted for weeks that the president just wanted to return to the White House for a series of meetings, but the explanation was met with a healthy dose of skepticism, since Obama rarely interrupts his vacations.
Judicial Watch estimates the extra roundtrip cost $1.1 million. Only daughter Malia accompanied Obama back to Washington.
More... http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/215525-obama-heads-back-to-vacation-leaving-a-puzzle-behind-himInstead of going to and calming down the crowds in Ferguson, he's obviously more interested in getting back on the golf course.

depends what you are looking for -- long term? short term? and how much do you care about your entry point as long as you are getting good return? if you are trying to maximize risk/reward, i'd wait.
I want long term or when the price goes above $1000, whichever comes sooner The saying goes that "Gold is the money of kings, silver is the money of gentlemen, barter is the money of peasants and debt/fiat is the money of slaves." Determine where Bitcoin fits in for you and then decide whether you want any sooner rather than later. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
