4921  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [WARNING] Blockchainhalving on: May 30, 2020, 12:36:55 PM
Of course it's about phishing, and the intent is to steal the data, and then if possible to trick the users to make a deposit in the crypto. All links except registration lead to the original page, which is just a good deception by which they try to deceive the naive people. The site should definitely be reported via the Google form Report Phishing Page, which is also available directly in Firefox via Settings -> Help -> Report a deceptive page.
We can also report it directly to the registrar of their domain which as I saw their registrar or domain provider is publicdomainregistry.com, and for sure it will be taken down immediately once it is proven that is phishing website or impersonating another website.

It's just sad for the owner of that website since it is clearly he/she is impersonating the blockchain.info, the design of website is really not looks like blockchain.info at first glance, epic fail.
4922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is good strategy or technique for Toss Coin? on: May 30, 2020, 10:53:25 AM
Do reverse martingale then I think that would be a much better strategy as you're only increasing the bet size after every win.
I also use the same strategy on blackjack and sports betting but I always get too confident when I start to have a good win streak.
This strategy is the quickest way to leave the casino early haha. It's either win a ton of money or go broke as hell. Reverse martingale is really effective if you are dedicated to win but your game will be thrilling as hell and personally, I don't think I can handle that LOL. I will just go on random betting or just a martingale strategy to enjoy my game.
(....)
I started with reverse martingale few days ago and yeah I already cashed out my starting capital. I think it is much safe since I don't have much capital and the platform's minimum bet is too huge for my funds there.
I'll try again to play very soon and I will be consistent to do the reverse martingale with control.

Btw, thanks to all who are able to discuss, much appreciated.
4923  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign on: May 29, 2020, 10:38:57 AM
SFR10 has created a new signature design for us, lots of thanks to him for that. We ask all signature campaign participants to update their signatures.

We have also got another avatar and now any participant can choose from three avatars as they wish.
Wow! I am amazed on the new signature and avatars too! Superb design, very simple.
The new signature is perfectly balanced with the avatar especially the cap avatar, so I will select the cap among the other avatars  Wink (All of them are cool).
Let's see which avatar will be the most used.
Good job BestChange!
4924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you donate in a casino? on: May 29, 2020, 10:31:37 AM
I rather donate to some non-profit organization that specializes in such charity programs rather than the casino.
And especially I believe that most of the casinos got too much money, that's why I don't see many casinos offering or accepting some donations for some people.
Well, if a casino has a good intention, there's nothing wrong at all then, as long as the money will go to the poor or anyone that is needed the most.
4925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is good strategy or technique for Toss Coin? on: May 29, 2020, 10:27:09 AM
Thanks for all your replies lads! Much appreciated.
What I mean is like the Martingale or reverse martingale strategy for getting there. The only problem if I will do martingale is my total funds is kinda too low and the minimum bet is too high, like almost 5-10% of my total available funds, I am kind of afraid to do it.
4926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is good strategy or technique for Toss Coin? on: May 28, 2020, 01:30:31 PM
Ok there is a monitor but can you trust/be 101% sure the coin has not been modified before or there isn't a magnetic base that can be activated by the house? There is a notary or something like that?

This is a 50% side bet.
The result of each bet it's totally independent by the bet made before. It's something risk choose a "strategy" according to bets statistics....

I can be assured the monitor is legit streaming live news tv channel, I even triple check it and watch the channel they are streaming.
The only problem here, I can't be assured if those amount of bets are made by my co-gamblers or players, but overall no problem at all, I already winning some.

It is luck based. Just be careful with this kind of game.
Do they see how much the bet would be before making the flip?
I don't think so they can see the bets before making flip, they got this simple DIY which operated by 1 person and pressing only 1 bottom to throw the coin from above, which I can guarantee it's legit and not manipulated on every toss.

Yeah, it is  50% probability of getting head or tail in a coin toss. You sure they don't have any kind of edge on this game? Like why would a casino run on a 50/50 game of chance? This also means, the casino has the equal chance of getting wiped out, just like their players!
Probability is 50%. I also have a doubt where they are getting profits here, but I think they have some fees here for every bet player made.
And the odds are based on the total amount of bets per toss.
The only problem here again here is I am not sure if those amount of bets are made by my co-gamblers or maybe they are just randomly adding some amount random bets.
4927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just One Loss After Another on: May 28, 2020, 01:23:31 PM
I'm sorry for your losses, first is for your husband which is more and definitely important compare to the piece of paper or Bitcoins you had, remember. I am very sad right now because of your experience.

Remember, you are still alive, be thankful. Those Bitcoins you lost are still can able to own again soon or near future, for now, take care of yourself. For sure you are a tough woman and you can get through all of these.

Additional about the bitcoins you lost, lesson learned now, that is one of the downsides of using paper wallet for me, although it's very secure for any hacks, it is extremely vulnerable to nature's tragedy.
4928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you do think you can start betting in sportsbook again? on: May 28, 2020, 01:14:21 PM

But for me, maybe there are some people who already switched to some eSports after some sports got postponed due to this pandemic covid 19.
Just like me, I got to used to bet on some eSports game, so I am not so affected of the some sports being postponed.
but i heard some dota matches or some match related to esports were cancelled too . being online doesnt mean that those guys play only on thier homes on thier own but they must gather  on one venue  and that venue can compose of many people such as  fans , members , staffs , etc but the one that got mainly affected is the original sports games   .  idk if when will the covid end but i can see major improvements of recovery so this means all gambling kinds will resume soon   .
Yep, most of the stage tournaments are canceled due to this COVID 19. But some of those canceled tournaments made some alternative so the tournament will still proceed like they changed the stage tournament to Online tournament, which team can participate online or per region (to avoid high latency), this already happens in Dota 2 recently.
But now most of the tournaments are online, some of the team are in the same house or venue playing together but there are also some teams that composed of players that located in different venues like they are only communicating via team speak.
4929  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you handle losses in trading? on: May 28, 2020, 01:06:58 PM
I had set some rules before trading so I know how much I can loose it or have capacity. Also I have a stop loss always set so that even it triggers it is a limited loss . In trading , one always can’t make money and you will incur losses as well and should be ready for it .
This can be considered as risk management. This is very helpful for every trader, we should think that not all of our trade will succeed, that's why there is stop loss and it is MUST put stop loss for every trade especially you are in margin trading which is riskier and can lead you to liquidation.

One thing we can handle losses in trading is the total stake on every trade we do, like 5% - 10% per trade of our total available balance is good for me.
4930  Economy / Gambling discussion / What is good strategy or technique for Toss Coin? on: May 28, 2020, 01:01:07 PM

Recently, my friend shared some gambling platform on me, which I think is only operates in our country.
They have this game which is a toss coin, I can say it is legit since they have a monitor that is streaming some live TV channel there which also you can see while playing.
I can say this game is purely 50% probability, HEAD or TAIL only.
The odds are computed based on how much bets on each side per toss.

Now,
What do you think, everyone? Good strategy or technique to use here, like the martingale or reverse martingale or double down?
Feel free to share your ideas and advice.
4931  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Latoken will charge you 5USD monthly, if you are not active. on: May 27, 2020, 02:57:17 PM
What will happen if user have balance more than 0, but less than 5$ ? He will have a negative balance then?

Anyway that is the great way to officially steal funds. Lots of airdropped or small projects altcoins are often traded on Latoken. Sometimes altcoins value is so small, than it is impossible to withdraw them. Now these funds can be officially "taken" from users account. Great.
For sure, they will not deduct the 5$ if you got less than 5$. They are just making their exchange more shitty because of this feature of their exchange.
They are like making their customer get away from them or will use only their exchange for a short period of time.
This is my first time to see an exchange that has this feature, lol. While some exchanges much prefer to store some funds on their exchange for a long time even there is no trading activity.
4932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mmorpg, Bitcoin, and Gambling on: May 27, 2020, 02:53:54 PM
Most of the types of game I played, MMORPG is the best for me, which I already played the most of my time.
For me, it's kinda difficult to combine gambling with the use of Bitcoin inside the game especially if it's MMORPG.
Because as you are the game developer or owner, you will consider some gamers that will play your game. Not all of them want to gamble, they just want to play the game.
That's why there is some sportsbook there that acts as a third party for people who want to gamble by playing games, just like eSports nowadays which is already popular. But here, you are relying on someone skills, not yours, I think it is the only big difference there.
4933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [DISCUSSION] How to overcome a big loss in gambling? on: May 27, 2020, 02:49:02 PM
Quote
5. Just enjoy your future games
This is very important. Just like what others said; "Not everyday is your lucky day". I also experienced this, I lost for this day I stopped and take a rest. On the next day, I won and stop because I already in profit. It's like controlling ourselves. That's why sometimes if I don't gamble or I am busy, I am withdrawing my Bitcoins on the gambling website so I will not be tempted to play, it's one of the ways how I handle myself, yet it is effective.
4934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does pure price action strategy (NO INDICATOR) work for cryptocurrency trading? on: May 27, 2020, 02:43:01 PM
That is very important so I can YES. For me, I don't need much indicators or any add ons in my chart. With the help of trend lines, you can do trading. Indicators for me is just like make-up or lipstick for women, you can use it or not.
But if you are having trouble with indicator, you can start not using it, and if you already master some basic on trading, you can have time to practice some indicator especially the momentum indicator such as RSI like Stochastic RSI.
4935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Those that hate risks! on: May 27, 2020, 02:32:29 PM
We can also apply the law of attraction in trading. Which we should always be positive. What the more we are thinking the more gonna happen.
Being negative for every trade is extremely awful. You should not be negative at all especially you are risking money, trading is not just a simple game.
4936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you do think you can start betting in sportsbook again? on: May 26, 2020, 11:40:55 PM
Lot of sportsbook nowadays got lot of traffic even some sports are postponed since we still have some eSports.
But for me, maybe there are some people who already switched to some eSports after some sports got postponed due to this pandemic covid 19.
Just like me, I got to used to bet on some eSports game, so I am not so affected of the some sports being postponed.
4937  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: (discussion) as a newbie should you or should you not loan to invest in BTC. on: May 26, 2020, 11:30:47 PM
Not the best time to actually post this, newboes might actually think Bitcoin is a good buy right now when in fact asking for a loan just to enter the market right now will be a very risky move for any newbie.(...)
I don't think so, they should also be aware for their actions especially  when money is involve.
There are lot of people already tried to loan just to buy Bitcoin, some of them won and some of them lost. So, in short risk is still there.
But I totally agree to not loan just to buy Bitcoin. We should also think the collateral if there is any or interest in our loan, if there is any bad happen, we should always have plan B.
4938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do anybody know if there is a Best Crypto Project that Failed? on: May 26, 2020, 12:12:22 AM
Hmmm, I don't think so if we can easily say they are already failed since they still continue to run.
For me, NEO, we can't say NEO already failed since they still continue to grow, development still in progress.
NEO for me is a great project. But the last 2 years, they started to become not so active anymore compare in early years of the project.
4939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Average Weekly Investment on: May 26, 2020, 12:10:05 AM
I suspect it's the halving. Knowing all the stuff related to BTC as a trader takes time, most traders going for stocks, fiat & crypto rely solely on charts and news they catch on-air.
(....)
Maybe yes, but not totally 100% of the reason of the block halving. We can also add up the pandemic, like the huge loss of stock market recently because of COVID-19. But Bitcoin also experienced huge loss before but Bitcoin bounced back easily.
We can assure if it is really the block halving is the reason of these, let's compare upcoming quarter of the year of the first quarter of 2021.
4940  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What was your experience trading cryptocurrency? on: May 26, 2020, 12:04:48 AM
I remember when I started to trade cryprotocurrency which most of the wrong doing or bad practice in trading was I done, result was getting rekt.
But those bad practice makes me become better trade, I continue to learn after those experience and become better trade compare to before.
Trading mistakes are exactly what yields growth int trading. Is there even a way you wouldnt get to lose in trading?
Losses in trading can be compared to the cost of running a business.
more knowledge comes alongside experience.
Agree! For sure those successful traders now are also experience such a huge loss for sure but they still remain and continue to learn. They also lost a more than our losses.
For me, trading is how you will gonna remain or how long you will be trading, you can't become a millionaire in just one night or a week.
