Android wallet down for 5 days now. I'm dropping it finally, hoping it will be online at least once in the coming days so I can transfer the coins.

I noticed some recent changes as well.
Has the coin name been inside the job name before? Like DOG_something or MOO_something? :-)

Is that true? What ping do you have?

Its very true.  Try it yourself.  Cgminer 3.7.2 happily switches to new coins with no issues with no failover set.

My ping to the US server 100ms.

Sorry but I would not suggest running without a failover, unless you can monitor the miner constantly.
I can imagine a lot of scenarios where you could loose a lot of mining time by not having a failover, even though middlecoin might run fine.
For example a problem on dns resolution, ip routing or whatever.

Cool. Anyway to make it work on windows?

it's made in python, so it should work on windows as well.

Just made a tiny script to show the latest info instead of going to the website each time. Am I too inpatient?

haha I was thinking of doing the same, but with a little bash script ;-)

anyone who has experience running ubuntu?

Recently had to use an older computer for my cards, running ubuntu 12.10 32bit with 2gb ram and cgminer 3.5.0, using the latest drivers from amd. I have a 6950 and a 6970 but only getting around 500 kh/s with both cards combined, compared to 900-1000 I had when running on a win 7 64bit 8gb ram computer (also 3.5.0).

I don't have any special settings, just the pool information and an intensity of 19, no hardware errors, GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
and GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 has been set.

I do not have a lot of experience, but I believe (with scrypt) you need to have at least as much system ram as gpu ram.

I keep getting a message about stratum connection being interrupted. I think it happens when the pool switches coins does anyone know how to stop this? I am using cgminer 3.5 and it only happens on one computer but not the other.

Read the thread - this question (and answer) is here countless times. This is normal and it occurs when stratum switch to another coin. You need older version of CG miner to avoid 5 miutes countdown to reconnect. And donīt forget to set failover pool.

cgminer 3.5 is fine (3.5.0)

are you using --thread-concurrency along with --shaders for some reason?
"Setting thread concurrency overrides anything you put into --shaders."

Digitalcoin has posted gains 3 days in a row. Congrats guys. Your website is one of the most professional of all the coins.
The Dev team is fantastic. The coin has possibly THE best name for a Digital Currency. The schematics of the coin are
excellent. Only 11mil coins and the coin is about 6 months old so nice and rare and stable. On and on....

Expect a top ten position on Coinmarketcap. Very few are selling (dumping). Mostly buys. Very strong.

Good work!

DGC has great upward potential. However, I read about an incoming pump to go along with the current rally on Btc-e last night. I think it is happening or about to happen. So, if you love the coin begin to mine it and try not to buy at the highest price if possible. If this was Litecoin, I'd say today's date is somewhere late summer of 2012 diff-wise. Having said that, it would be awesome to see dgc at 100k+ satoshis.  Cheesy

How much is 100k Satoshis?

.001 btc
