With only two games on which we can bet for the Italian Cup I would try some correct scores

Carpi - Vicenza 2-1
Sassuolo - Cagliari 3-2

Carpi-Vicenza end really for 2-1, you have bet? because i think the 2-1 have a good odds.
For Sassuolo-Cagliari, later 35 minutes are only 0-0, but all can happen  Grin

Yes I had two separate bets to lower the risk. My pick about Sassuolo Cagliari was totally wrong but the fact is that Carp Vicenza gave me a nice profit. And that's all care about

Believe me,  Carpi - Vicenza HT correct score 0-0 and Sassuolo - Cagliari 0-0 too on HT correct score.
My prediction more realistic than you make a bet correct score for full time.

you were right on HT, I was on at least one correct score and we won: that's enough

4923  Economy / Speculation / Re: 232 days before bitcoin block reward halving on: December 03, 2015, 10:46:37 AM
We will see the creation of btc going down, that's what the halving is about: BTC is not going to die because of this. IT was conisdered as a part of the plan, we know the halvings are necessary, don't worry too much about them. Miners will keep on mining.
4924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CarlesPuyol Sports picks Thread - Hot Picks with review on: December 03, 2015, 10:42:52 AM
Good odds I might bet them but my main concern is Tel Aviv and I think that is also yours. They have to win as you said they will not have a second chance. on the other hand, I agree on CSKa pick they can't lose.
4925  Economy / Speculation / Re: The manipulators on: December 02, 2015, 02:06:43 PM
I don't buy it because the market is a mess at the moment. I'm sorry to say it but bitcoin is a safe heaven for speculators of all sorts and as someone else said what they all care about is profit. Bitcoin for them it is just another game to pump their wallets with shorts and stop-losses. To me this is the main problem here

Do you think stock markets out there are any different?
Every market is getting manipulated. Just don't get fooled by the size of these markets.
Bigger markets have bigger manipulators. It's all rigged.

There is no difference. Each market where you can make money, is being manipulated. Indeed as you say, the bigger the markets they play in, the bigger the manipulators are. In Bitcoin a decent whale has probably $2-$3 million in total assets, which I mean as Bitcoin and fiat. Wealthy stock market traders play with hundreds of millions of Dollars, if not more.

Of course I know the stock market makes no difference at all! The thing is that in the stock markets there is, what I call "legalized robbery" while with BTC exchanges, as I already said, to me it seems like a total mess in which bagholders can play as they want. Not to forget that since margin ttrading started is even worse.

I tried with the faucets to play bit with some satoshi but that does not appeal me that match: don't worry it's just me who I don't like these kind of games. I prefer poker and betting on sports but thanks anyway

4928  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pump & Dump Trap! Don't get trapped! on: December 02, 2015, 08:50:30 AM
Any guesses on the bottom?

328, i'm fairly sure the market is following the same pattern but with a 3xx instead of a 2xx, i'm expecting another increase toward 380 in december

I had the same thoughts as you. If that price will be broken we are seriously going down to 300$ maybe lower. But Bitcoin price then can not go lower than that because than we will see huge buys at discount; in these days we saw how easy it is for the price to spike though.
4929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football ligue on: December 02, 2015, 08:38:43 AM
Let's forget about yesterday! Three 0-0: what a delusion!

For today I'm a bit confused after yesterday but I'll try the following predictions.

Monaco Caen  Both teams to score
Montpellier Ajaccio Under 2,5 goals
Troyes Toulouse Draw
Bastia Bordeaux Bastia
Guingamp Reims Guingamp

4930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2015: Why did bitcoin fail? on: December 01, 2015, 08:29:16 AM
Of course it didn't fail! What kind of fail? We eventually managed to recover the price on a higher level. Look at pereira's infographic: that is an interesting one. The Bitcoin Ecosystem is too young still. I could agree on the fact that there's too much discussion on people than on development and this slows down development time but other than that I see NO FAIL.
4931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football ligue on: December 01, 2015, 08:24:27 AM
Today we have three games for Ligue 1 and the most interesting one is Angers - Paris Saint Germain
I go with these picks

Angers PSG PSG wins
Lorient Nice Draw
Nantes Lyon under 3,5 goals
4932  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 01, 2015, 08:18:23 AM
Ok, all forms of TA and guessing are now useless.  No dump or pump occurred, it just randomly goes sideways within margin of error for no reason.

Same thoughts from my side and I don't care anymore about charts since they we were wrong most of the time: BTC price movemente has a life of its own which is simply fascinating to follow but so hard to predict. Maybe the main reason why is like this is because more and more new players start playing this game. But is ho hard to tell.
4933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 01, 2015, 08:11:20 AM
Only two games for closing this Serie A day: I will go for correct scores on both games.
To me they seem both over 2,5 goals or both teams to score and the following are my correct score prediction

Sassuolo / Fiorenzina
1-2
Napoli / Inter
2-1

Napoli' victory was @ 8.6 and I bet only 0.03 bitcoin and I won 0.258. In the end I decided to split the bets to avoid losing only for one game, I made the right decision. It's not easy to get the exact score of a game  Wink
4934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin-exchange on: November 30, 2015, 09:17:23 AM
I look on the forum here to see what are bitcointalk users experiences with an exchange: it is very good to have a lot of information directly here in the forum. I saved more than 5BTC when Mintpal collapsed thanks to guy in this forum who started warning the community about what Mintpal was becoming.

So if an exchange is good for most of my fellow bitcointalk friends, then is good for me as well.  Wink

Has anybody here purchased anything off of tigerdirect.com with Bitcoin?

I might be due for a new laptop one of these days...

Edit: here's a relatively recent article about them https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/18-months-adopting-bitcoin-tigerdirect-reports-fantastic-experience-continued-growth-1438985840

I bought a laptop from Amazon via Purse.io, got 10% off. Might want to check to see if the laptop you're buying is available there as well.
What laptop did you bought and how much did you pay for it?

Anyway, looks like we are going to reach 400 soon enough because the price is currently at
$381 @ bitfinex  Shocked
Let's take a good nighty night sleep with a glass of warm milk and when we woke up may the price reach what we wanted to be Grin

Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon. Original price was $1800, Amazon discounted it to $1400. I got it for just over $1200.

That's a bargain man, almost stolen I would say! Nice for you.

380$ looking good. All prices are starting to be greener and greener which is good: where this can lead? A steady but regular rise to 500$ does not seem a dream now. We can go there easily if volumes keep this pace. That would make a nice Christmas  Wink
4937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 29, 2015, 10:09:08 AM

My prediction for today is:

Liverpool vs Swansea 1
Norwich vs Arsenal 2
Tottenham vs Chelsea  both team to score
West Ham vs West Brom 1

good luck

I like yours but the only game I would change is Tottenham vs Chelsea. I see over 2,5 goals more than both teams to score.
Final score of Tottenham vs Chelsea will be 2-1, so Hotspurs win!
4938  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 29, 2015, 10:05:41 AM
Who expects a year end rally up to 600+ USD?

me, we'll go back up to test $500 again, for sure.

Maybe not 600$ but 500$ does not seem unresonable right now.
By the end of the year we could be there. And if that happens we can expect fireworks for the new year to come. I have a feeling that some new big players are coming in next year.
4939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football ligue on: November 29, 2015, 10:01:43 AM
Got a few satoshi yesterday with PSG over 3,5 goals and angers lille under 2,5 goals. I only played two games to be sure of winning at least something.
4940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football ligue on: November 28, 2015, 04:49:04 PM
Cavani scored and PSG is leading the game with 67% ball possession. Before the end of the first half result is 1-0, I think we will have more goals coming.
I bet a bit on these two games I predicted. I hope I'm right
