4921  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: July 21, 2016, 06:29:57 AM
Bitcoin is decentralized, while governments want things to be centralized, that's why it's not something they would want to get involved with. Governments would have to have some kind of advantage, to start using bitcoin. Or, if the majority of people start using it, and therefore businesses and companies, then governments would also have to start using it. Governments might actually try to create their own version of bitcoin.

Why people stubbornly continue to repeat that mantra about Bitcoin being decentralized? It has long ceased to be...

that only proves that mining is being done by those who were willing to invest a lot of money into buying equipment and start a mining farm and have a cheap electricity.
but it doesn't change anything about bitcoin as an Decentralised financial system

decentralized in bitcoin means it has no central control, so if anybody like a developer or a mining farm decides one day that he wants to change something about bitcoin like block size he can't unless there is a consensus.

unlike a bank that can decide to take your money away from you and there is nothing you can do about it.
4922  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 21, 2016, 06:21:20 AM
Well, you can start by stopping spending your money on things you can't actually afford. Let's face it, we're being controlled by the media. Our journey towards becoming rich is prolonged day by day because of all these pressure that we should buy the latest gadgets, that we should go get coffee in Starbucks every single morning. If you look at it, those products are all just overpriced stuffs and the cheap ones are just as good (sometimes even better).

Remember, rich people don't spend their money on things like this. They don't buy iPhone 6s+ just to show off people. They don't do shopping just because of their social circle, and that's how they've become rich. They spend their money wisely.

although i agree that not spending money on wasteful things but that is not the way to get rich. you need to earn money in the right way and you need to earn a lot of money from your job. because it doesn't matter how little you spend when you are earning a little too.
4923  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN will be reached at $1000 to $2000 in 2016 ? on: July 21, 2016, 06:11:54 AM
every day that passes and bitcoin price is still high above $650 and doesn't go down i become more sure that this price is becoming the new bottom and it will only have one way to go and that is up.
4924  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Minecraft: Use and earn bitcoin inside the game on: July 21, 2016, 06:09:27 AM
let me put it this way for those of you who are thinking about making money this way.
if you are not a minecraft fan and if you do not enjoy the game itself then going in only for the money is a total waste of your time. because the earning is not what you think it is.
so only do it if you are already enjoying the game, so playing for money is only a bonus.
4925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be principle possible to own all bitcoins? on: July 21, 2016, 06:05:20 AM
I just got the following thought.

you didn't explain what your thought exactly is!

Quote
If you would find a wallet

what does this mean, you mean searching the internet or other people's computer to find their wallets.
or do you mean finding (creating bitcoin addresses) because a bitcoin wallet is file that is holding the bitcoin addresses + their private keys that your wallet application has created.

Quote
that could hold all bitcoin addresses incl. there Private Keys,

you have to create all those addresses + private keys and since there is 2^160 possible bitcoin addresses you will have to continue making addresses until the end of the world.

Quote
you should have all available Bitcoins in your wallet, or am I wrong? (It's just a theory)

yes you are wrong.
4926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it legal to earn and hold bitcoin ? on: July 21, 2016, 05:51:42 AM
Even if it's illegal you don't have to be afraid of anything for the simple reason that no one knows that you hold and using bitcoins, unless you reveal it of course but this is never going to happen.
Yeah they don't know that your holding bitcoin so why need to be afraid? And I think for the future it will accept it in your country as   a legal currency .much better to start to save now so if the times come that your country legalized bitcoin you had available and I think when it is happen the price of bitcoin is much expensive than the price now.

the trouble happens when you try to exchange bitcoin to fiat or vice versa. because there will be a bank in this process involved and they would want to know where the money came from and if it came from a bitcoin exchange service or anything related to that they will flag you if it is illegal in your country.
4927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help a newbie out please on: July 21, 2016, 05:45:25 AM
Thanks.  Paper wallet?  There are paper wallets?  I must google. Smiley More feedback welcome.  Basically, I have this BTC income stream that I don't know what to do with....

search for "cold storage" in general and read about it, here is an example: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Cold_storage and also https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/How_to_set_up_a_secure_offline_savings_wallet

but you have to remember that bitcoin price is volatile which means it can change a lot so keeping it can also be risky on top of being so profitable.
4928  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: July 21, 2016, 05:42:16 AM
I think you need to earn a lot of bitcoins to earn a living from it, you should than make it your day job what is pretty difficult to do if you ask me, I think you should just invest a lot of bitcoins more and than start trading and cold storage them. So you can make profit with it.

Earning a living with bitcoin seems like it would be kind of hard thing. Unless you have a ton of bitcoin with a secure way to make bitcoin. Also you'll always have to worry about volatility of the price. And spending bitcoin to buy food and stuff doesn't seem to easy as well.

Exactly like I stated in my past post here. Since people takes care of the price, doubts are always there if they will buy or sell it. Making a living a bitcoin means you have no other source of income aside from doing bitcoin trades. How can you support your everyday living if all your moves depends on the current price? You need to spend in your major needs so whatever the price, even at low price to consider, you have to sell some of your coins no matter what.
I fully agree with this.
Earning for a living means a "stable" income.
Whatever happens, the income must be there to support yourself and probably your family.
Either in a daily or whatever basis.

you do know that bitcoin income is not only coming from posting on the forum or trading right?
you can do many things to earn bitcoin, you can start a business with bitcoin. just take a look around you and you will see a lot of businesses doing it like casinos, exchanges, and many who sell all kinds of stuff online for bitcoin like games, applications, etc. and all of them are earning an stable income.
4929  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining doubts on: July 21, 2016, 05:37:37 AM
when you invest in a cloudmining service you are taking multiple risks, one of them is what you mentioned the difficulty rise and the bad ROI. but also you are taking another risk which is also bigger and that risk is the risk of them running away. just take a look at hashocean, they were paying until they stopped and ran away.
4930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: July 20, 2016, 05:26:41 AM
I do not feel bitcoin will disappear because bitcoin will continuous to upgrade and to increase its value and more people are now adopting bitcoin as their other source of income that is why the demand and supply helps bitcoin to be great in the future.

That's what I was thinking to, my guesstimate above was 2070 but in my mind that Bitcoin is impossible to disappear in future as you said btc is upgrading as the time progresses at its raises it's value. Bitcoin would be popular in future it's impossible to disappear. Period.

it is not a thing that can happen over time, because in order for bitcoin to disappear it needs to stop working which means there should be something horribly wrong with the code (which is not possible by the way because it has been reviewed and tested for so many years) and that problem should be un-fixable because any bug can be fixed and we can move on.
4931  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: July 20, 2016, 05:16:47 AM
i never go all in. and especially since bitcoin is a bit risky investment that is not a good idea to invest all your money in bitcoin. also every experienced investor would suggest you to diversify your portfolio. and that is what i always try to do in order to reduce the risk and maximize the profit i can gain from my investment.
4932  Economy / Exchanges / Re: sending my yobit balance to bittrex, is this possible? on: July 20, 2016, 05:10:29 AM
Sending my yobit balance to bittrex, is this possible?  Would i encounter issues with this? Because i recently read some comments about it that it took days for the confirmation. Can't remember where the posts are.
Yes it os posible but I also here some problem sending from other exchanges the fund you send sometimes not come just be careful mate for sending funds its hard to earn it we don't want to lose even small amount.

The only exchanger you need to be careful on sending balance is in yobit really its because they dont have any warning if their wallet have maintenance and thats the reason why their so many floating deposit issue in there, and also sending to another exchanger is actually common doings by arbitrage traders they transfer their alt balance if they see that the amount of that site is higher than their current site where their balance are in and also it is very profitable things you can do since exchanger sites have different 24 hours price per coin.

almost all the coins on yobit are in maintenance mode except bitcoin and a couple of others. and i think you should avoid that exchange service at all costs because they are the worst service on the internet and in case you encounter some kind of problem with anything really, there is nobody to answer you or fix the problem for you.
4933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: July 20, 2016, 05:06:11 AM
Well, if you only make good trades and invest in the right ones. You can do quite well, I have and continue to try to make more.
if you have more knowledge on doing it much better opportunity to earn more but doesn't change the fact that you are still risking your money the only advantage is you can control the amount of your loss even if its in the middle of trade unlike gambling that you can possibly lose all in one hit.

Yes that is true but sure gambling have more chance to win more and faster because it depends on your luck meanwhile trading have very slow profit but it is sure profit. It still depends on your luck though when you gambling because sometimes you can win it and sometimes you can lose too. It is a risky thing but sure give a good payout

the difference is in consistency of making profit.
in gambling you can't win in long term and your profit will be zero or even negative. but in trading even if the profit is slow and takes time to get there but it is consistent profit and you can really see the results in long term.
4934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: freedoge.co.in hacks your ballance on: July 20, 2016, 05:00:52 AM
Avoid to use this dice site that will empty your pocket with their terrible soft. Using a strategy of 5% win chance, 6% increase on loss, return to base bet on win, I got a lose streak of 173 and then I stopped rolling to not loose everything. It's good to mention the probability to get 173 loosing steps in a row that is 0.01 %.
I didn't get this event on any other dice site that I used so far because the probability is incredible small, but not for freedoge.co.in.
Shame to them!

Go around and avoid freedoge.co.in !

haha, with 5% chance you should have lost your balance a lot sooner than that. because you have a 95% chance to lose on each bet so 175 loss in a row is nothing compared to what you can really see in these situations.
besides there is a provably fair system at work there so you can check your rolls to verify them. and this is dice and you are supposed to lose.
4935  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Strategy for 10%+ Bitcoin Profit in 1 Hr with Dicebot on UltimateRolls.com on: July 20, 2016, 04:55:54 AM
nothing works long term in dice. and no strategy worked for me until this day when i play dice, because when you are rolling the only thing that matters is your luck and how many reds are you going to see in a row.
4936  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 20, 2016, 04:49:52 AM
i think bitcoin is definitely better than gold has ever been or will be, bitcoin is always the way to go if you want to spend it or if you want to just have a great investment
Bitcoin is always better in compare to gold at a moment when it comes to an investment as price fluctuations in bitcoin allows to make quick profits which is not possible with gold.
I thought for a moment bitcoin will be like gold where the price does not have a high speed and fluctuations the price of bitcoin will become very stable as it is today and it will make the longer patient and wait time pump. I really do not like this time. I prefer the price fluctuates compared to stable

it is too soon for that, bitcoin is still finding its place in the financial world and it is not yet fully adopted, that is why there is this much fluctuation. but in a couple of years in the future when/if bitcoin gets more popular than now and finds its real place in the world then it can reach that stability that you are looking for.
4937  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: July 20, 2016, 04:41:44 AM
most people have this kind of dream about bitcoin, but most of them want to become rich with bitcoin overnight which means they want to only have 1BTC and wake up one morning to see the price has gone insanely high to 10 Million dollars so they can become a millionaire just like that.
4938  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: July 20, 2016, 04:37:59 AM
We will see it this year for sure even over 1000
But all place high on end of this year
We're getting close and the chance that we will meet $800 is so high, I'm thinking for specific month maybe it will be October as I believe people will invest for them to spend the profit on December.

Yes it possible to reach $ 800 will require process and will probably happen at the end of this year or maybe early next year. It was very difficult to predict because bitcoin is fluctuating every time. But I believe it will reach it later.

$800 is right around the corner and if we don't see it in a super fast 1 week rise we will surely see in in less than 2 months from now, it really doesn't need the end of the year to reach $800
by the end of this year we will see a lot more price swings and we may even see the $1200.
4939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: July 20, 2016, 04:30:37 AM
Price volatility is an major reason for keeping people away from using bitcoin as they have an fear of loosing their money in a long run.
Most of the investor take advantage of the price change and will give them huge profit on that. But some users who are not expose on the trend of the bitcoin price they are start to stop using bitcoin i think.
yes traders loves price fluctuations as it allows them to make regular profits but normal user will hesitate in investing their money into it as they have a fear of loosing it.

well, it is not all about making profit from trading bitcoin and taking advantage of price fluctuations. but this topic especially is about people "using bitcoin" and not just buying low and dumping high kind of strategy. and using means buying/earning it to have the ability to spend bitcoin instead of fiat on merchants.
4940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Memorizing Private Key on: July 20, 2016, 04:27:39 AM
I've never thought about it, but it sure is interesting.  I'm not good at memorizing that many characters so I will not ever do that.  Also, I would still write it down in case I forgot.
yeah, it is a really interesting idea in my opinion, i will surely try it out when i will have some time with small amount of bitcoins, though i think it will be a hard thing to do

Rather then to store in on computer store it on a piece of paper. It's not very likey a hacker will ever be able to see that piece of paper.
So in time of a hack you are still safe.
Well, that's a way but just having it on a piece of paper would surely not work on me, since I've got quite a lot of papers and documents that's just scattered all around or house and I usually just forget where I place what.
Memorizing, however, wouldn't be that much of a problem for me, only if it's not-so-long term because I tend to forget it if it isn't used after a month more or less.

just print the private keys and make a paper wallet and laminate it then find a picture frame at your house and take out the back of it and put your paper wallet there and then close the back and put the picture frame back, that way it is safe and you never lose it.
