4921  Economy / Economics / Re: BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR 6 YEARS on: October 22, 2019, 10:00:49 PM
I have known bitcoin since 2013 and had stopped for almost two years without even looking at the price. I was really shocked how much the price grew. I knew when I forst read about bitcoin that it has a great long term potential, a revolutionary currency that can be used as an alternative medium of exchange. When I went back to crypto, I swear I won't hesitate anymore and will be part of it till it grows and gets massively adopted and accepted.
I am almost in the same shoes with you after reading briefly about bitcoin sometimes in 2014 I never really bothered to do more research about it the price then was very less at that time while I never envisaged BTC will  become  a big time financial revolution I came back into it again in early 2017 that was when i was fully involved however I always regretted not taking appropriate action after my early encounter with bitcoin.
4922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid mistake newbies still do till date on: October 22, 2019, 08:59:37 PM
Last week I started a giveaway in a group, I asked people's ETH address as I was giving Ethereum. Two people gave their private key, I deleted them instantly, they again gave the private keys, I said drop your Eth address, not this. One of them replied send here! I was just shocked by seeing such noob people! Later he got it and replied to me " Thanks for the quick deleting! "
Lack of knowledge in all crypto related stuffs had really caused a lot of havoc on newbies losing their coins to scammers imagine people sending private keys to unknown or an anonymous scammer that could have been the end of those coins, You did well by deleting their private keys and that gesture shows that you are really a good fellow, I implored all newbies or new crypto enthusiast to seek adequate knowledge first and try to study all relevant terminologies related to cryptos before embarking on its usage.
4923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: who else think Litecoin will go huge? on: October 22, 2019, 07:40:34 PM
Litecoin had been down for a while now and obviously its a coin for future Its always pump once in a while its pumped thrice after bitcoin reached ATH in 2017  it bottomed at $23 in 2018  however it recovered and pumped to $138 this year while presently LTC is in bearish mode and the very best period to buy and hodl while waiting for another bullish season that might come soonest.
4924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 22, 2019, 05:13:54 PM
New game, same question who will play with CR7 tonight in Juventus?

Dybala or Higuain? I think Dybala will play, there is any site where you can bet the formation?
Not Dybala, Higuain will play along side Cristiano Ronaldo in this night champions league according to the information obtained from livescore.cz, I think the pair of Higuain and Ronaldo has been more productive
The pair of  Higuain and Ronaldo will be more potent on goal than Dybala obviously Juventus attack in tonight UCL game will firing on all cylinders under coach Sarri, I believed will be keenly contested Locomotiv Moscow are not a push over team having won one match and lost one however I expect Juventus to win convincingly based on their home record and parading some good players like Ramsey, matuidi, khedira etc.
4925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DOES BOUNTY PROJECTS TAKE TIME TO ENTER A MARKET on: October 22, 2019, 03:32:27 PM
Some of these bounties considers the over all market conditions of the market particularly bitcoin thus the fear of entering the market in an inappropriate market conditions especially in a bearish season because of the tendency of the coin to be dumped thereby turning it worthless, in fact a coin named GLDY reached Soft Cab since early 2018 till now they have not enter the market citing one in genuine reasons or the other personally I viewed the whole scenario as they are probably observing the situation of the market just to avoid dumping the coin by hunters and investors thus tuning it worthless.
4926  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Bitcoin: Bearish Mood Strongest Since February" on: October 22, 2019, 05:41:47 AM
One thing I am sure, it will not go as deep as 6k.
It might stay to 7500 but that is still in low possibility.
8k to 8500 could be its best rotation and it will not go much under those number.
We are too deep if we compare it to the price of bitcoin for this year.
Should have been at least 10k by now and fighting for that 12k once again.
The support at $7500 has proved to be very strong the price of bitcoin bounced off the support on several attempts based on daily time frame and truly the resistance at $8000+ is also proving had to break thus its like bitcoin is in ranging mode probably we haven't experience much bearish mood yet, my fear is that as we approach Christmas the down turn should not continue because of festive selling and withdrawals.
4927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are People Losing Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 22, 2019, 04:54:11 AM

There seems to be a trend not yet recognized by many experts and that is the withering interest of the people on Bitcoin, especially if we compare today with the days of 2017 and early months of 2018. Of course, we could not expect that people will always like, search and talk about Bitcoin for years. There will always be a plateau and a possible downtrend, sometime somehow.

Is this something we have to accept or should we do something about this?

Many newbies investors were disappointed by the turn of event after buying bitcoin at ATH in 2017 the downtrend that follows makes them to dislike bitcoin and as well discouraged other potential investors majority of them are after profits and not on its project. I believed when bitcoin begins to pump again and when witness another ATH more attention will be focused on it again, many investors and new experts will beam their search light on it to ascertain its adaptability and profitability.
4928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: October 21, 2019, 08:57:09 PM
In my principle, contributing or helping others is mandatory. Don't see where the money comes from, as long as we have good intentions, then do it. I myself don't really care about what I get from gambling, whether it's dirty or not. As long as I win in gambling, I will do that. Donate and help others with the results of gambling.
The charity you are donating money don't even care where the money comes from as far as it meets their daily needs a gambling money is like a free money some people might believed that gambling money is a dirty money based on religion beliefs If the money is to be spent catering or improve the welfare of less privileged I will donate my gambled money wholeheartedly for that cause.
4929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many ICO / altcoin scams? on: October 21, 2019, 07:25:20 PM
Hi, many people are still complaining how many ICOs ended up as a scam.
The cryptocurrency idea is to create a free worldwide decentralized ecosystem. Free for all, for honest but also for dishonest people. It is free market and you should protect yourself before losing your money. You donīt like it? Then you do not understand crypto.

But unfortunately the dishonest people in crypto world had overshadowed the honest ones thus painting the system in a bad light, moreso making the ecosystem more riskier for investment I quite agreed with you on protecting ourselves against scam possibly by investing with the amount of money we afford to lose so as to be on a safer side.
4930  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: October 21, 2019, 05:21:50 PM
Yes crpto scam is a global issue since cryptocurrency are global currencies but the fact is before we have agency that will help in the tracking and preventing this occurrence it have to go through the government and as we all know no country have fully accepted cryptocurrency as a legal currency within they jurisdiction.
If the government had been in supportive of cryptocurrency the issue of global scam would have been addressed we have FBI, CIA, INTERPOL etc these are government backed agencies that can track or arrest those behind those fraudulent activities however government across some countries had shun and kick against using of cryptos these had really encourage scammers to have a field day in carrying out all those crimes unchecked.
4931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: October 21, 2019, 04:12:13 PM
Its better to gamble than to steal, exhort money fraud from people religiously gambling might be forbidden however its very glaring nowadays that some individuals steal government money and make donations with it to religious bodies without questions their sources  if such a body should out-rightly reject gambling money why can't they reject stolen funds given to them in form of donations? personally I see no crime in gambling in fact in some third world countries where there is high rate of unemployment the youths resorted to gambling as away of surviving their hash economy.
4932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Altcoins ? on: October 21, 2019, 02:42:52 PM
Cryptos market has turned to survival of the fittest obviously bitcoin and ethereum had survived already other altcoins like LTC, BCH,XRP, TRX, and some few others with a good project will also survive while the rest might turned out to be shits and abandoned its on record that binance exchange has delisted some shit coins and I am very sure more coins without future will also be removed in a nut shell only few coins will survive in a long run.
4933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: October 21, 2019, 01:35:39 PM
Honestly, it will be too hard to totally eliminate scam projects in the crypto world but we can do something to get rid of them. We all know that scammers these days are always thinking of new ways to steal do their illegal transactions and fraud but there are also ways to keep ourselves away from them. We should have enough knowledge to look for legit and paying projects and to determine what fake projects are.  Scammers are getting wiser these days but we should always be wiser than them.
Actually it can be done if we want to do a review of what causes why the scam projeck still exists today. things that keep them there because of lack of supervision and many have proven that there are no rules making them more free in making projects

sometimes regulations are needed if fraud continues to exist, even though research by investors is maximal but scam projects will continue to look for ways to manipulate their data. so there should be strong rules for development that want to make their project so that in the future a project has better standards
I am urging the authorities concerned if there is a way to stop this nefarious activities of these scammers the better else the crypto world will continue to suffer the menace of those unscrupulous fraudsters, regulations should have been a way out but the anonymous transaction of cryptos had enable them to have a field day, investors had there funds stolen, bounty hunters are not being paid, so many unfavorable and touching stories in this crypto world for now there isn't any reasonable solution despite researching for good projects at the end most them turned scam.
4934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where you take inspiration when you tired from trading? on: October 21, 2019, 11:59:19 AM
I take inspiration from listening to music whenever I am bored in trading I usually succumbed to pressure as a result from sitting down all through analyzing charts, writing notes, taking some trades while its usually time consuming based on the higher time frame as my preferential chart.
At times its very stressful especially when I am on the losing side while trying to put away fear and emotions I resort to listening to inspirational music all through to cool down my temper.
4935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheaters . who caused the cryptocurrency to go down on: October 21, 2019, 10:59:00 AM
After reading some of the members' responses related to the OP discussion, it turns out that what the cheaters meant here was for bounty hunters.
I think there needs to be a company specializing in combating fraudsters.
To overcome this, multi-account, cheaters who are trying to monopolize the bounty campaign, there are already a number of bounty managers and other members who are very concerned and create a red list for related accounts and cheating.
Instead of busy blaming each other for making this bad, it's better to focus on each other's progress. Focus on running the bounty to the maximum, according to the rules, and not being greedy.
Absolutely. There are many frauds in the cryptocurrency world. Especially those bounty hunters. There are many users who use multiple accounts in order for them to be able to earn. So I would say that it is cheating and it might fraudsters as well the reason why bitcoin still doesn't know due to multiples accounts being used by the same person. That's probably the reason the project has a low count of investors. But if ever, that has a small effect not the overall outcome and it depends who is managing.
In addition I believed anonymous use of cryptos gave room for all these cheaters In most cases KYC is not being mandated thus allow multiple accounts cheaters especially bounty hunters who will undermined the lay down rules so as to garnered or earn more money, Investors are now becoming more cautious in what to invest, in many occasions ICOs because of not being regulated and anonymous collects investors funds and ran into thin air, this is a common scenario now in crypto world thus causes cryptocurrency to be painted in a bad light.
4936  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will this fluctuation end ? on: October 21, 2019, 04:00:23 AM
The fluctuation occurs between $8600 and $7800 resistance and support its seem the zones are very strong whenever price touched those zones there is always a bounce off, price had just re-bounced the latter recently and headed upward I believed if the $8600 resistance zone is eventually broken that will mark the end of the fluctuation, else the fluctuation will continue gradually the price is heading towards that zone again.
4937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 21, 2019, 03:26:30 AM
I will go with draw result for Manchester United vs Liverpool.
I don't see easy win for Liverpool here., and it is time for draw after 11 wins in a row.

Mantchester UTD 1 - Liverpool 1
Exactly like I predicted yesterday.
You can't keep winning all the time Liverpool Smiley

Great odds for draw result, even in Live betting!

You did well predicting the draw mate, I had both teams to score and for some value I had Man Utd to win as I really thought that Liverpool would lose this game which I did mention before the International break.
I also said Man Utd could spring a surprise having been been rated as an underdog before the match I believed they deserved the draw having played under pressure in the second half of the match Liverpool mounted a lot of pressure on them before conceding that goal over all they deserved to get a point in that match after being written off by soccer pundits.
4938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: October 20, 2019, 12:35:08 PM
This is a very good and subtle of trading bitcoin which I appreciate very well immediately I read the article I switched over to the daily timeframe chart and all the details from the article worked out well after back-testing the chart thus a better way to make profits is to sell bitcoin after signalling a bearish trend while buying when the price is in ranging mode although its might be a little bit complex for newbies in trading however its really worth it after understanding the details.
4939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From financial debt to financial stability- thanks to bitcoin on: October 20, 2019, 11:14:13 AM
Honestly every crypto enthusiasts has one or two touching stories to say about bitcoin, the OP had really emphasized how he was bailed out from his debts thanks to bitcoin, personally my 9 to 5  salary  payment is not sufficient enough for my needs, it was bitcoin that brought kind of succor as a supplement to my earnings and opened up more opportunities particularly trading which I am trying to divert my investment so as to be able to be self sufficient and not dependent on my salary.
4940  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening with Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2019, 10:05:50 AM
Was this predicted?
Nobody can correctly predict why a movement may take place in the market but they can speculate and predict a possible movement. If someone could predict it correctly then they would unfairly manipulate the market.

Quote
and if so why,
Prices drop when people sell. What the reason behind is being said to be a premunition to the bakkt futures trading opening up but I would take that with a grain of salt and watch what actually unfolds.

Quote
will the price eventually bounce back up?
Every pump is followed by a dump and vice versa. I have been watching the markets for the last 5-6 and this is very common to happen. This is the time of panic and possibly panic selling too. But the wise traders would wait it out and buy at the bottom if they have cash at hand provided they have utmost firm belief in the reason behind the selloff.

One must be a professional trader for you to be able to identify the bottom so that they can buy at the cheaper price and wait until its value reaches the height of the upword trend before placing a sell order.
Yes professional traders used their technical analysis techniques to spot bottoms and zones for buying at a cheaper price it requires a lot of expertise and experience to be able to identify those area however some times their analysis might go wrong ie price defying their analysis and move the other way but in most cases their predictions usually come to pass.
