4941  Other / Meta / Re: Upgrade your account on: February 17, 2021, 12:59:27 PM
It's explained in the Copper Membership option so no worries about that. Just send BTC to the address you were given and that's about it.

We are commonly asked how we know that you sent a payment. The address above was newly generated just for you, so when any BTC is sent to it, we will know to credit it to your account. It is all automatic.
4942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone bought BTC at $6K yesterday at an exchange and they want it back on: February 17, 2021, 08:50:50 AM
I don't think he has no choice but to return it just like what you have said they know his address and name. But I think it's the exchange's fault and not the user the good thing to do is to maybe give the user a reward for returning the Bitcoin but if the buyer becomes greedy well I'm not sure what will be the PDAX's move after that.
Why should he give BTC back just because they know his address and a name?

When you look at their TOS, I don't see on what ground they demand the BTC back, as they say that "Orders, once executed, are final and irreversible." So, if orders are indeed irreversible once executed and if PDAX is just an exchange between the two users, how come they ask money back? Then again, we heard just one side of the story as he didn't share what exactly PDAX told him is the reason for wanting the BTC back so  there might be more than he is telling us.

Anyway, strange behavior from an exchange and if it's true what that guy is saying, I would contact the lawyer and let him deal with them.
4943  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC HIT $50000🎯 on: February 16, 2021, 01:30:50 PM
This pretty much sums it up for me. Feels nice to reach yet another milestone, but we all knew it was matter of daay after all those good news so othing changes much really for me, I keep on hodling as before.

Are we going to see another ATH soon or the day will be remembered?
Both. This day will vbe remembered as the day BTC reached over 50,000 but in the same time it will keep on going as bitcoin is in price discovery mode. I seriously doubt that we will experience sudden dump after this, but even if that happens it's not a big deal. I am at the point where I don't care about dumps and corrections as I see it as an opportunity to acquire more BTC.

Don't let the door hit you on your way out. Even though we all know that this is just an attempt to get a little bit more attention and that you don't plan to actually leave. If you do, you wouldn't make yet another useless trolling topic like you just did in Meta section.
4945  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: POOLZ Bounty is denying paying Bounty Hunters for using new Ethereum address on: February 16, 2021, 09:22:27 AM
No they not. I've participated in Twitter, Medium, Discord, Telegram campaigns. Noticed that it was mentioned they excluded Medium from distribution, calculated my rewards and they have send me for Twitter, Discord and Telegram, but did not increase total sum for 5% due to Medium being removed.
To be honest, if they removed Medium part of the bounty completely (why they removed that btw?) I can see some logic not to redistribute those tokens to something else, as they were meant for Medium part of the campaign. I was asking about parts of the campaign that are still there, and whether they recalculated spreadsheet because they removed some users.

Another strange thing I've noticed. If bounty pool is 25,000 POZ and Medium is 5% of it (or 1250 POZ), why in Fatemablabla spreadsheet total sum of tokens in Medium sheet is only 1231,2 POZ ? Where is the difference ?
Same thing happened in Telegram and Discord part of the bounty. For example, Telegram allocation supposed to be 10%, or 2,500 tokens but based on the spreadsheet only 2443 tokens were allocated. Maybe we are missing something here, but bounty manager should explain that disrepancy.
4946  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: POOLZ Bounty is denying paying Bounty Hunters for using new Ethereum address on: February 16, 2021, 08:21:21 AM
Kudos to Poolz team, they did the tetxbook version of bounty scam; delaying the bounty distribution in the the combination with removing large amount of bounty hunters. Not a surprise though when you see the Poolz token price, which keeps pumping.

I am curious about one thing; did they recalculate the whole spreadsheet after removing bounty hunters so those who stayed got more tokens, or they just basically reduced bounty pool by removing hunters?

After starting payment now they removed some of the bounty hunters For using new wallets. In their logic every new wallets are created to cheat.
That's obviously bullshit reason to remove bounty hunters, but if it wasn't for that, they would probably  find some other reason to pay less.

Just to add that I don't see how @Fatemblabla stole the coins when Poolz team is in charge of distribution.
4947  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Mjesečna Analiza za Hrvatsku Lokalnu Zajednicu (Bitcointalk Croatian) on: February 16, 2021, 08:06:39 AM

Top 30 aktivnih  clanova domaceg boarda u periodu 1.1-31.1

Lista najaktivnijih domacih clanova u navedenom radoblju , koju sam napravio koristeci  @TryNinja Ninjastic Space. Kao i obicno, lista je ogranicena na top 30 clanova. Nije uopce bilo  sumnje tko je i ovaj mjesec na vrhu liste Cheesy

4948  Economy / Reputation / Re: [LIST] ANN threads that are using bumping services on: February 15, 2021, 09:16:18 PM
One more thread that can be added to the list of projects with poor marketing:

Beatbind - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5313929.0
Yep, they definitely hired one of those "marketing agencies" to spam their thread nad fake the interest. Same accounts that are active in Beatbind are also working on another project on this list, Axentro so I am adding them to the list.

From what I could see, Beatbind is one of those projects that have no real use for crypto, but they probably hope that by introducing blockchain they will get some interest. At least team looks real and whitepaper not plagiarized, so there's that. IN other words, just another shitcoin that should be avoided.
4949  Economy / Speculation / Re: When BTC Bull run will end? on: February 15, 2021, 09:47:56 AM
I am not so sure that bitcoin will follow the same pattern like in 2017/2018, market situation is different as now we have way more institutional investors on board, making it very hard to predict when will this end. If you remember, few months ago we surpassed old all time high without much hype, bitcoin was going up slowly and steadily and beside some sudden jumps like the one after Elon Musk/Tesla stuff therefore I don't expect big dumps like in the early 2018.

I fully expect to see Bitcoin exchange rate above $115,000 before the end of 2021. I would be VERY surprised if it did not happen.
That's what majority of people expect, but what I learned from bitcoin by now is that you have to be prepared for anything. It might seem that $115,000 is within the reach due all the hype and bullish news,, but even if that doesn't happen, I won't be disappointed/surprised.
4950  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cryptoasic.com Review for SCAMMERS SCAM SCAM SCAM on: February 15, 2021, 08:44:48 AM
Well, I don't know ... I bought the Innosilicon A10 PRO, everything is fine and no problem. Wink
Sure, we are supposed to belive newbie account that woke up after year and a half break and write his first post saying that scammy website is legit, instead beliveing the actual manufacturer of the miner when they said that its not available on the market yet. So, if that site is legit, why would they sell something that they don't have?

There is something fishy going on with majority of these miners scam threads made recently...
4951  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KuCoin safe on: February 15, 2021, 08:36:47 AM
I've been using Kucoin for the last couple of years and so far I didn't have any issues whatsoever. I haven't tried /staking lending features though, I just used it to sell some altcoins and that's about it.

Regarding how would I rank exchanges based on the security(or at least feeling of security) I guess it would be Coinbase Pro>Binance>Kucoin.
4952  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: www.defigroups.com ??????? on: February 14, 2021, 08:46:21 PM
This looks like an outright scam, and pretty bad one with all the classic signs:
  • Promise of a high return? Check! (even though high apy is pretty much standard for almost every DeFi project)
  • Making a fake team with a combination of stock and other people's photos? Check!
  • Fake ranking on various ICO tracking sites like ICOBench, Foundico, ICORanker etc (you won't find Defi Gorups on those sites)? Check!
  • Plagiarized whitepaper form another project (they took whitepaper from a project called Upbots) ? Check!

Tell your friends that they unfortunately invested in scam and don't let them talk you into investing into this too as everyone who invests in this will 100% certain loose the money. There is so little effort invested in this that scammers will probably just disappear after end of the sale, they won't bother with developing thisas they don't have anything of their own.

4953  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: February 14, 2021, 05:04:37 PM
Ljudi dajte neki savet, kako da upadnem u neku kampanju? Dugo me nije bilo na forumu, mislim da me inactivity zeza...
Prvo i osnovno, moras aktivno pisati.

Since bitmover left the campaign, we opened his hero spot. Sign in into this thread if you want to take the spot

Submissions are open for one week, picking the new participant on next saturday (20th February).

Are you sure that you are banned, because according to bpip you aren't.

So, my account has been banned for that post:
https://archive.is/JbGfC#selection-2035.0-2039.37
I am giving an explanation of my post here:
I meant that he should be careful about such messages, because I myself received several such offers. Later I contacted him and I explained to him.
You got tagged for that post, and not banned. Also, I don't buy your explanation as I don't know who could understand "i can got amazon.de account's with stolen credit card put on it. I can sell you this account's for 30$" as " Be careful of such messages". Plain and simple, you advertised sale of accounts with stolen credit cards.

4955  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cryptoasic.com Review for SCAMMERS SCAM SCAM SCAM on: February 13, 2021, 05:07:32 PM
I want to say that this information is not true. The company is actually good. I recently purchased an Antminer S17+ here and was satisfied with everything!
And you had to register on bitcointalk just to say that Cryptoasic is legit? Somehow I doubt your intentions here.

I just checked that website and among other things they are allegedly selling Linzhi Phoenix ETH miner as OP claimed, while Linzhi confirmed that all websites selling that miner are scams as that miner is not unavailable yet, therefore they can't sell them. What's even worse, they claim to have 22 of those miners in stock.

From Linzhi Telegram group

4956  Other / Meta / Re: Changing email for Bitcointalk account? on: February 13, 2021, 01:51:20 PM
I don't think that someone will automatically think (or at least they shouldn't) that there is something wrong with your account just because you changed your email or password as you can do that for myriad of reasons. But if at the same time your posting history changes dramatically, then people might suspect that your account has been sold/hacked. If I am you I wouldn't worry much about it and just change it.

At least I hope that things on bitcointalk are not that bad that simple change of email/pass without any other standard signs of account ownership change can cause you issues.

4957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 13, 2021, 10:16:30 AM
Curry needs to proved to Ray Allen that he was wrong.

Allen statement doesn't seem to make Curry happy. Grin
“Stephen Curry is not the greatest shooter ever”: Ray Allen snubs Warriors star as ‘GOAT’ 3 point shooter, reveals his controversial pick

And not only on Allen but for everyone who still have doubts as he will surely get into the number 1.
To be honest, Curry doesn't have to prove squat to Ray Allen or anyone else for that matter, his numbers speak for themselves. Reggie Miller is one of the greatest shooters of all time, no questions about that, but Steph is on a different level, based on any metric available. Just the fact that it took him half the games Reggie needed to catch him on all time list while having higher percentage ( 4% higher) is enough to end that conversation.

Allen doesn't like the fact that he will be overpassed as the leader on the list of 3 points made very soon, most likely the next season if Steph remains healthy so now he is just talking bs.
4958  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any idea about this telegram trading bot? on: February 12, 2021, 02:28:47 PM
You can be very much assured that any such "Bot" on telegram is a risky thing to deal with. If you want to buy sell coins, go to an exchange not some random username on the internet who promises you to sell those coins. These things always end up with a scam and you will be sorry for being so stupid when you could have prevented it.
I do agree that using Telegram bots for trading is very risky, but looks like Chatex is not just some unverified random scammy bot. I did some digging and seems like Dash partnered with Chatex to enable trade of Dash via their bot.
https://dashnews.org/chatex-p2p-cryptocurrency-exchange-telegram-bot-to-add-dash-with-instantsend/

Here is some more info about Chatex
https://chatex.com/faq/

That of course is not a sign of legitimacy and OP should due his own due diligence before using something as Telegram bot for exchanging currencies.
4959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UBER will start to transact with Bitcoin? on: February 12, 2021, 10:58:02 AM
It's pretty long way from "we are going tp look into cryptocurrencies" to " we are going to accept cryptocurrencies". Naturally, no CEO (at least the one with some brain) will automatically say that he will never accept crypto so I see those more like going on with the current hype than seriously considering this. And even of they do, once they see the fees and transactions time they will probably give up on this idea. At lasted for now.

We can expect more similar rumours and speculations involving popular companies, like the one with Apple the other day.
4960  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Another deception of bounty payments to hunters POOLZ on: February 12, 2021, 09:53:06 AM
as expected, after the updated announcement, the team wrote that they have 2 weeks to make reaudit spreadsheets and send the first 10 % of the reward, 2 weeks have passed, so there is no news, there is no reaudit, there is no payment of 10%, as they usually write " wait for announcements"
Sorry to hear that. Projects can do what they want and will keep delaying distribution as much as they want probably until they are done with the dumping.

If their trading volume is legit (more than 2 million USD) they shouldnt even feel that 10% of bounty pool distribution which is worth approximately 70,000 USD, but we all know how easily that is faked.

As I said before, bounty hunters won't learn any lesson from this and projects&managers know that.
