4941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Closing a futures position at 70700 ADA on margin balance and getting 52000! on: August 10, 2020, 11:39:51 PM
Supposedly, it was not a thing to happen at your ends, you make it before the lags happen and that was surprising how it changed. Should they have to refund it if you can show some proof to them, maybe your trading history will be enough to recon it? Because it was not your fault and the fees couldn't be a reason or you have mistakenly hit the button but that was their system failure.

Your best option, for now, is to wait for their reply, it for sure they will turn back your money if they'll find it wrong.
TBH, there is too much risk when we keep our money in exchangers.
4942  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance trading bots are garbage on: August 10, 2020, 10:26:26 PM
snip~

Bots are just indeed for automation of trades but people do always have that belief or perception that these things can make out money for them without even realizing that these are just tools
and do needs to be set by the trader itself. Most are already set-up but for users that dont have knowledge would really be having that question mark on his mind on how the hell these bots do work.
When you do have knowledge then you can simply alter those settings and change it up according to your likes if you do saw that theres something happening in the market where you do change
up on how bots work on a specific situation.Bots are garbage if you dont know on how to use or utilize it.
I was on that thinking before and I find it wrong. It can't be that bots or any trading will make you profitable in trading but it's YOU who did it. It is something we need to understand and for those whose coming to become a trader. We didn't just rely on this thing coz we are just to fail if that so.

@OP, It wasn't the bots you have a need to complain but first, consider yourself out of it. Some bots did it right but it was wrongly used by its users then the result will be opposite, this is probably what it happens to you. You better check it.
4943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: August 09, 2020, 11:38:51 PM
Nothing happens into a kind of unrealistic imagination. Some developers deliver such huge and beautiful promises just to catch attention from the investors but that is not what investors had looking for, it was the potentiality of the project. But the problem is, investors never find it and so have to leave and ignored them.

Many projects suffered such losses and failures because they are not true with their roadmap and promise. They'll never have that winning goal and sustainable marketing strategy, only they have with their mind is to fool people and generate money from them, then leave. This what exactly happens this time and so much disappointed how these people still exist.
4944  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for advice on: August 09, 2020, 11:03:14 PM

I would totally invest only smaller money and money I could afford to lose. purchase wasn't sure if by linking a bank account to one of these companies if somebody could hack that information.

from the little research that I've done it seems like coinbase may be the best option for me. I'll do some more research and see if the any other ones pop up. Now I need to do some more information about this wallet thing.
If you are doubtful about and the possible links into your bank account, maybe it doesn't need to push your self either. As we are engage into trading, online activities, we are already prone into hacking but we can avoid it we are not careless with our account keys and password. In fact, many have that struggles the same as you but later on, they will have no worries provided that you are dealing with a reputed exchanger's site, not by those scammers who pretended that they are a part of the team.

Just think not only twice but more, and need to have in knowledge before to start. That is the only way it helps you to decide.
Only choose one of those reputable exchangers in the market just like Coinbase, Binance, and etc. And try to visit trading discussion
trading discussion as well to have some more tips in regard to this.
4945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter/Youtube Bitcoin Scams on: August 09, 2020, 10:36:02 PM
What is the crypto community doing/(able to do) about Twitter and Youtube crypto scams? The other day I was recommended a SpaceX live stream that was promoting a btc/eth scam, and this was on Youtube's homepage. I've seen these scams on twitter for years, and they only seem to be getting worse, so I don't have much faith in either of these platforms solving the problem any time soon.
YouTube just like to spread awareness to the public in regards to scamming issues and to guide people on how to deal with this. I'm not in disgrace with that seeing on their Homepage instead you can be thankful that they give support for this and so the public will be informed.

Is there anything we can do as a community to prevent people from sending their crypto to these scammers? Could we build bots that crawl these social networks and add potential scam addresses to a database that wallets/exchanges can check against before letting users atomically send their crypto? I know the most obvious solution is to educate people to recognize scams, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Is was really hard when we all not be cooperating with this because we can't also stop those greedy hearts to fall into this kind of scheme. Scammers will take advantage over them and they can easily manipulate their minds. If we are about to help the community by minimizing these scamming activities, we should also have to help ourselves to change such greedy instinct into nothing.
4946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 09, 2020, 02:38:34 AM
Do you think that scams harm Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies' reputation in the mainstream world?
The answer is yes. People hold the thought that you invest in bitcoin or cryptocurrency with money you can afford to loses. This means that the general perception of the average investor in bitcoin or cryptocurrency is at risk. There is always this fear. Certainly, such fear has an effect on the reputation of bitcoin.
That is a mind manipulating scheme. People never appreciate it but badly it thinks as a scam and could make them suffer losses. If we either live that mindset, no way we can see the true benefits of bitcoin. We can't avoid that fear and escaped from being doubtful (even me before) but if we are open to hear good news about crypto, about bitcoin, it is likely we can found out that bitcoin is not a scam, only those people who would like to scam.

I'd just to find out that most news are so unfair, they only saw the negative and published it but never got into the scenario that they praise Bitcoin because it is very helpful to the people especially in today's situation.

4948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Network fee is killing my small profit on: August 08, 2020, 10:56:33 PM
The same thing happens to me when I exchange Bitcoin to my local currency at this time. But to ease the burden of fees a bit, I exchange it only twice a month and do it to cover my daily needs.

That is the wisest thing to do, it is supposedly why not if have that option and think about saving rather than accumulating these fees.

Always there is a way, only we need to find it. It is to understand that once the market does such pumps, fees will actually rise. This can't be avoided and just us to limit cashout transactions if that is the only way we can save. In fact, we all have suffered this thing and we have nothing to do but accept how these changes affects us in regards.
4949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profitable days of holding bitcoin percentage (98.5%) on: August 08, 2020, 12:38:11 PM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bullish-bitcoin-price-trend-intact-even-after-btc-retests-114k-support

It was an indication that we are not really close that bullish season. I'm definitely not sure that people are accumulating more on bitcoins but instead of holding it in the anticipation for the most awaited part of crypto (Bullrun). It is to find that the market isn't confidently moving high, we able to scaped from getting stuck at $10k but we then also stop at $11k where we are now.

That 98.5% incline is really sweet but I'm not sure people is being considerate with that to sell their Bitcoins. They'll always positive for the coming days to see it reaching $15k which I believe a worth to wait.
4950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new drama has started in Altcoin on: August 08, 2020, 12:04:40 PM
AS for many days, the crypto market is now in good conduction as compare from the last three to four months. But now a new thing in coming to altcoin, that the prices of all altcoins are fluctuating very badly and not able to stable in a single position for at least an hour. So, what should we do in this dramatic conduction of altcoin?

This is normal, this depends on our position as a bounty hunter, trader or investor. I am sure that each of them has its own tricks in seeing market patterns and developments ending in later decision making.
It turns out that the market has its own agenda where we can't take control over them. We have different market approach, may the others feel uncomfortable with the current situation while the others also accepted it. And since before, the market looks like this, volatility makes the market more alive that of the stock market and this is a reason why many investors had fall into crypto investment.

@OP, feel this is not another drama, in fact, we've been like this before. It sometimes the market goes high but later on it goes back down again. We should have nothing to complain for that situation coz that is one of the market features that crypto enthusiasts live with.
4951  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will you do when Bitcoin reach$20k? on: August 07, 2020, 12:45:28 PM
When bitcoin price reaches that price, it could something more to come and that will be the reason why I still commit to hold rather than to sell at that moment. Most of us are about to miss that price last 2017 but for sure people won't lose that opportunity again if ever it happens. But I don't put into the idea that I keep holding still then even though it keeps moving high, of course, I have to sell some of my holdings.

Others would say "I will not do anything but to hold". In my point of view, that will just be more of a gamble. Since we have no assurance of a higher market value, things could be worse.
Exactly, not we sure everything even in a few hours. If we have that chance, it is better to grab it but we should not also be in regrets if the price will still move higher.
4952  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic things that you need to know before starting in trading on: August 07, 2020, 12:11:34 PM
A true trader can understand that trading won't work instantly and ain't proceeded to an instant gain. Yet, they keep trying until they succeed, but that is not what we observe and saw from the majority. 2 weeks to 1 month without a single gain but losses, the small traders won't actually survive that way, will that be possible for big-time traders.

I'm not sure how patience will be work in trading but a need to learn by starters. If we don't have that kind of attitude, then don't expect that we can go along the market volatility and succeed in trading.
4953  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Congratulations to me on: August 07, 2020, 09:14:16 AM
You've started with great and prove to your self that you are worthy of this position, and for sure it won't just stop there but coming into the next level. I see your dream/goal nearly to achieve and I believe it become possible with that kind of attitude.

What you're doing now must have to sustain or even show more. Maybe some of us it was unnoticed but could be gradually changed in the future. It is not about pushing yourself but it was doing the right and the best thing in order to reach what we dream of.

It's a big CONGRATULATIONS...
4954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Best Course Of Action? on: August 07, 2020, 08:38:10 AM
I know that you are doubtful this time but tried to figure out what happens in the past bullish, it might the same thing will happen again, repeatedly. The market flows still uncertain because of its volatility, not even sure that we can hold this uptrend motion until the end of this year (at least).

If you can afford to hold it, better do it. But I don't give a suggestion to buy more this time while the market keeps moving high, the risk is really high. But anyway, it is that your choice either to buy if you can afford it as well.

4955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: URGENT - uncomfirmed transaction sent to scammer. How to double spend???? on: August 06, 2020, 11:48:33 PM
Sent bitcoins to scammer at 5 sat/byte. Transaction unconfirmed still. How can i double spend to send the funds to myself before the scammer transaction confirms?
If you have a trusted friend and expert in this matter, better to ask help right now. Because learning those above-mentioned steps will takes time for you to perform and I'm afraid if it was already been confirmed before you've done.

It only needs 1 confirmation before it finally has gone from your control, will that pretty quick especially when there is no network problem.

That's why it is very important to have 2FA authentication to give safety at your wallet more than enough that email confirmation can do.

4956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do i get scammed? he want my encrypted wallet hash? on: August 06, 2020, 11:07:10 PM

Jeff Kirdeikisheute um 16:57 Uhr
weird. what's your public address?

Die Kadseheute um 16:57 Uhr
never had any problem with uniswap and metamask

As I read into your convo, I'd never see that he ask your private key, he only needs your wallet address just to track your transaction and I don't think there is a big deal unless if he wants the keys also. But somehow you didn't even cooperate with him and tend to think that he will scam you and I don't think that was his plan because I'd find out that he is serious in dealing with you just to give the best solution and help you out. But it was hard for you to follow what he says and not giving him the address he asks.

I'm not a part of them but I see that he wants to help not to scam. I hope you get mind.
4957  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why there are too many topics related to Crypto Scams here? on: August 05, 2020, 10:56:53 PM
This only serves as a warning but this not means that we are making it negatively and have a negative impact on the community or in the forum in general.

Who benefited from this? Of course, not only newcomers but all of us. We have that specific board about scamming issues but there is no single thread that all scam problems where discuss. One reason why it is separately created is to have a clear discussion with that matter and to see the assessment of other members.
4958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PlusToken Ponzi Goes To Jail on: August 05, 2020, 02:42:19 AM
Ponzi and other way of scamming scheme has been expose already to the public and people had already been vigilant with this. So any time they will be reported and get arrested by the authorities. The continuous combat against this scheme will never have its end because scammers will find a way to fulfill their goals. Unless if we all keep fighting with it.

The question is, do the authorities will give back the money to the investors? Or they will keep it? Ihope they will as it gives hopes for investors to recover their money back.
All those who are associated with PlusToken office and promotion should be charged but it's just so disheartening that the big wings are still at large.
He should face the consequences that he made. It sooner he will be of together with his friends.

4959  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ProBit exchange and their poor support system. on: August 04, 2020, 11:49:46 PM
Where exactly did you send your complain? Maybe you send it to their promotional e-mail or stuff like that?
I don't use Probit but they're not as bad as Hotbit or Hitbtc, at least last time I checked them out. Be careful when you try to seek help from Telegram, I'm pretty sure scammers will contact you as soon as you post your issue there.
It's better not to post questions or complaints directly in the probit group. I would recommend contacting the probit admin via PM personally, so the message will be read immediately.
make sure to select the probit admin with an asterisk. This will be faster than having to send via email. Email only as an alternative.

some problems can be solved properly, may require a process and there are some errors. Probit is a pretty good exchange in my opinion.
Most often people are using phones so they have an easy access to all social media concerns and give them an abrupt replies (if there is). Have to agree that email isn't a fastest way to get back the answer/s rather than sending it directly into their social media account. But of course, we don't need to get rush or being harsh enough to know the solution because of the busy life that probably they have, they can't make it prioritize.

It really takes time especially when dealing a critical issues that it needs a thorough investigation. Days will make it work.
4960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will $XRP be safe for long term? on: August 04, 2020, 11:28:00 PM
Since the owner won't give up, we can make trust in it.
XRP has been existed for quite long and it already builds trust for the investors. Until crypto still alive and usable to the market, we can be safe by then. But don't get surprised that XRP will never do the rally and we don't expect that because it was controlled by someone.

in my opinion XLM is very safe, this project has clearly proven that their team is very strong, fundamentals are very good and a solid community, just hold! 5 years ahead XLM will be amazing
not XLM (Lumen), it is XRP (Ripple), maybe you are wrong.
Anyway, 5 years to keep waiting, it is not the hardest thing to do if you know how worthy it is. XRP has that potential even though many people didn't see it.
