4942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hodlers are actively buying bitcoin these days on: June 15, 2022, 11:48:41 PM
A very great thing to do these days. Those who understand that this dip won't last for a longer time are buying and believes that the recovery will come at any time now.
Despite the market has been hit and cut too much like a trillion, there's still hope and we know it if you've been here holding for long. No drop or correction will stop us to reach that goal of owning at least 1 solid whole of bitcoin. While the others are still crying that it's not enough for the bottom and they want to see a lower price from within.
4943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: June 15, 2022, 11:05:20 PM
So i dont believe that it would really be that rampant now but much sure in small leagues or local games then this might happen but for bigger ones then it is almost close to impossible but there
would be always some chances.
I reckon, in smaller and unpopular leagues. These can happen but in the bigger ones, I doubt that they even want to do it. They don't want any controversy that will be attached to them just because of this.
The bigger leagues in any sporting event won't do this, people probably would still believe in those mafias, I guess they're for real and still there but if ever they'll do it, we'll barely notice that the game is part of the rig.
4944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Celsius in trouble ?!? on: June 15, 2022, 10:37:29 PM
Yes, it's on trouble. They've stopped all the withdrawals because of their trouble after it was reported that they've sent millions of crypto into another exchange.
An exchange will always be an exchange no matter what it is. Binance is likely the safest to say onto these centralized exchanges but still, don't leave sums of money on them because we've seen them stopped withdrawals.
And besides, Celsius hasn't gone far yet to think they can be trusted and we can put a huge amount in there. It is absolutely no but rather to anticipate such possibility and even in Binance. In fact, leaving sums of money to the exchanges is not a great idea, we are only dealing with a huge risk that might blame ourselves and put in regrets.

I'm not sure how they will address the issues by now since people are already in a panic thinking about Luna. But I hope this will be a different scenario and they proceed to an effective strategy to solve the problem otherwise, it is another exit scam story.
They've got an earn offer and they didn't anticipate that this is going to happen to them. Too bad that they have to end like this and I don't know if they've already filed bankruptcy or not yet. I've heard that nexo try to catch them and offered them to be bought but they have declined.
It's much better if they just let nexo take over them so there's no need to do these things that has already brought fears to all of their investors.
4945  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A season for stop loss on: June 15, 2022, 03:49:53 PM
I am not selling anything right now. It's too late. Although I am expecting some more dips but we never know what happens next and my paper losses are already high so I just HODL than regret later if somehow the market makes a sudden turn of events. Interesting if we need to wait for the next halving or ATH happens earlier.
Not really a good time to sell. Just hold firmly and we'll see those good prices again. Just expect that there will be more dips to come and we'll not know until it comes again.

As for my experience last 2017 ATH, I should have sold all into stable currencies last late December or early January this year. Now it's HODL time!
Just do it again for the next bull and bear market. It's going to save us from a lot of trouble whenever the next bear market comes again but we're not yet done with the current one.
4946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 15, 2022, 02:15:26 PM
Experience really is a big factor to this match-up. The Warriors know how to adjust when needed.

Warriors had already won twice in a row, if Celtics adjustment will not work in game 6, then most likely the series will end in 6. You know, Warriors are good in close out game, so I trust them to bring the energy that is needed to defeat the Celtics,
It's very much likely that game 6 is the end of this finals. But we shall see if the Celtics will get a bounce on Friday.

I can already feel the celebrating in advance, LOL.
Everyone is having this feeling and can't blame you on this one. The GSW fans are already feeling that this is going to be the game for Warriors.

It was Wiggins this time, and Klay also has something to do with the big win. And what's funny is that aside from the poor shooting from Curry, they lost the 3rd quarter.
Despite that, they've been saved by the last shot of Poole which made them retrieve the lead of the Celtics. And after that, the rest is history and they've won the 4th quarter smoothly.

You could really able to differentiate a team which does have finals experience but we cant underestimate them yet they wont reach out into that position if they arent that capable.
Celtics made a good run for the whole season but it's really a different experience when it comes to the finals. It's not just all about the physical battle that they have to do but also mentally and we know that they're all aware of that. That's why the Warriors is still one of the best teams during the finals, they've been there for so many times.
4950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A season for stop loss on: June 14, 2022, 11:02:47 PM
Everything can happen and what we plan is often different from reality, today the market drop is more than 8% and a total drop of more than 28% in a week, even the altcoins that I hold like matic are also significant drops
Well, if you see bitcoin dropping, expect that the whole altcoins market is also going to drop. No matter how you think those altcoins you've got are in shape, still, they're going to lose a lot because of bitcoin.

I think it's too late if we stop loss More than 20%, hold and be patient is better to reduce losses and even profit.
Yes, I also think that it's too late to stop loss if you've bought it before this 80% crash for most of the altcoins. But it's all your choice to make if you think that it's still worth to give it as stop loss.
4951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Celsius in trouble ?!? on: June 14, 2022, 10:38:58 PM
Celsius to blame for the latest crash now ? What is going on here ? I thought Celsius was the safest bet in town after Binance !
Yes, it's on trouble. They've stopped all the withdrawals because of their trouble after it was reported that they've sent millions of crypto into another exchange.

JuneMar Fajardo is on the purpose of helping a charity the whole 47th Season (All-Filipino, Governors, Commissioners).

He will donate Php200 for each point he will get and Php1,000 for every 3-pointers. That was the request of his beloved mother who passed away last year and the charity drive is now taking action. Aside from that, if SMB will reach the Finals, Fajardo will also add Php100,000.

Maybe that's one of the reasons why he is showing some aggressiveness and slowly regaining his former self, helping his team while at the same time, helping other people. A good initiative by the future PBA HOF or possibly the GOAT.
Respect for JuneMar for doing this deal to himself. I've seen this type of challenge from Ricci Rivero and this is actually a good thing to initiate to help the chosen charity of JuneMar.
Her mother is also kind to have this request for him because if it's not for her, I think JuneMar won't think of this deal to himself for each point that he makes.

Adding to that, a kind of request that a son will probably to fulfill with all his heart, a good deeds that will be remembered by people who are

going to receive this charity from JMF. I wish he will be more careful not to allow any problem with his injuries or trigger a new one to stop

him making his mother's request, the more money he can donate, the better for the charity.
Yes, that's for sure. Any initiative made by an athlete or anyone that has a good heart will surely be recognized and appreciated by the recipient of the donations.
Well, the case about his injury, he's always one that takes it and being a big man we don't know when injuries will come despite him being careful.
4953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question regarding NFT`s on: June 14, 2022, 10:48:44 AM
IF the governments start banning the use of cryptos all over the world If a global financial crisis comes and cryptos start to plummet how will NFTs handle themselves will they also collapse.
Well, even if they handle it well, they'll be sucked by the whole market which is relying on bitcoin. So if bitcoin is low, it'll also be low.

Can Governments interdict the use and existence of NFTs? Do NFTs have a shadowy construction like Bitcoin which might get banned for being anonymous and used to buy drugs or other illegal things?
Yes, the common belief by many is all about money laundering.

How will NFTs fair will they survive can they be still functional and governments can`t do much about it?
Thank you
B.
Whether there is government intervention or none, NFTs are also market dependent so as long as they've got volume, they'll stay but the question is, what if that volume is low? Then, it's mostly a dead NFT.
4954  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 14, 2022, 08:39:00 AM
4955  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 14, 2022, 07:14:52 AM

4956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Most Expensive Thing Bought with Winnings from the Casino or Sport Bet on: June 13, 2022, 11:52:45 PM
Some years ago, I won a decent amount of money from a sports bet. It was the equivalent of $550 in my local currency. I was thrilled. I decided that I was going to spoil myself a little. It coincided with the time Sony announced the price of the new PlayStation 5. The price was the equivalent of $500 in my local currency. I walked into a mall and bought it. I played it a couple of times. One week later, I traveled. I spent 3 months out of town. Sadly, when I returned from my trip, I discovered that my house had been broken into. The PS5 was stolen together with other valuable items. I was upset
You're a lucky guy when you've purchased PS5 just as you walked into the mall. There's a shortage in its supply worldwide and until now, I can't avail one of it because of it. There are scalpers that have been keeping it and putting a high margin which makes many people don't want to buy from them. Anyone will be totally upset if it happens to them just as what happened to you, can't you bring the PS5 on your trip when you went for a vacation?

What is the most expensive thing you've bought with your winnings from a casino or sports bet that you've never used or used only a few times or even maybe regretted buying?
I can't remember if there are things I've bought from my gambling profits. If I win big, I usually keep and wait until the right time comes of spending so, I don't know what to suggest but I think the most ideal is I'll do the same as you, for the ps5.
4957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you ready to buy/sell for bitcoins now? on: June 13, 2022, 11:03:28 PM
Nothing has changed. Price goes up or low, there's not that much change on how I'll keep and spend my bitcoins. I've got the specific part for holding and it's just going to be added and not going to be spent. While on the other part of my portfolio, there's the part of being added and is willing to be spent. That's how I'm going to make things even if we're on a bear market, there's really not that much to change just because we're on a heavy blow by the bear now.
4958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for Traditional Banks to cooperate with Crypto on: June 13, 2022, 10:39:45 PM
The first thing that I can think of banks supporting crypto is not flagging down transactions from the exchanges. If you directly withdraw from an exchange to a bank, that won't count for them as you're just doing a casual cashout and withdrawal from them.
Because there are banks these days that will flag that transaction if it happens related to cryptocurrencies whether it's from someone or will label the transactions in cryptocurrencies. Banks won't be obsolete, just see how the exchanges have been pausing withdrawals because of the continuous drop in prices of bitcoin.
4959  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Huge Down from ATHs. what will happen the next ? on: June 13, 2022, 05:04:07 PM
Cryptocurrency is now in a big crashing. And whole crypto marketcap now under $1Trillion. What will the next? and How long do you think it will take for the market to recover?
Next is unknown whether it will stay for longer just as how it went in 2018. I'd say that expect the worst thing to happen during this crash and we don't know how long it will be there.
Just as what we've been doing and got used to, we better follow what just the market is showing. If we're on a bear market, then be it and accept that it will take a long time before it finally recovers if your standard and price ceiling is the one on its ATH for all of the coins that you're holding. And that's gonna require us a lot of tolerance.
