4941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What needs to happen in order for bitcoin to replace gold on: October 15, 2019, 04:48:38 PM
It would only become a disaster if gold is replaced by bitcoin or we can say a financial crisis is to happen for sure in this case.
A lot of people hold thousands of bitcoins and hence it would make them super rich and it would become easy for them to manipulate the market or lets say gamble with thousands of lives. If gold needs to be replaced by bitcoin then bitcoin will first have to become truly distributed among the people.
4942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Founder of bitcoin??? on: October 15, 2019, 04:33:27 PM
Well then I can say that I am Satoshi and I own all of his addresses and even his bitcoins but its just that I lost my private keys.  Grin
Just be clear that anybody can pose himself as a well known person but it requires evidence that he is indeed that person.
No proof is equal to speaking lies.
4943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If regulation never comes on: October 13, 2019, 06:04:26 PM
Who says we will be able to protect ourself even if crypto is regulated globally. We can see crimes happening daily in our life despite the fact that Cops/CBI/Courts are there to fight crimes.
Similarly, even if crypto will be regulated, there will be scams happening everyday. There is nothing much we can do about it other than to educate ourself enough to stay aware and alert from such scams.
You have a point pal but do not compare real life criminal acts to digital, its more worse, you are using COPs and FBI and courts to judge but we don't have any of that in crypto space yet, just imagine how the world will be if there is no COPs and FBI and Courts? its nothing but road to more crimes
That's exactly what my point is. Just think that despite of Cops being available for us, still we face crimes.
So even if crypto will be regulated, we won't be immune to crimes/scams. It will still happen but just in a different way.
4944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The crypto hell: the exchangers manipulation. on: October 12, 2019, 10:30:09 AM
True decentralization can only happen when the currencies are being exchanged on decentralized platforms(exchanges) or peer to peer exchanges.
Only Centralized exchanges have the ability to manipulate their platforms and scam people. We have the ability to adapt to decentralized exchanges but just because most people are using centralized ones, the others are doing it as well.

4946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do not be deceived by inexperienced bounty hunters on: October 12, 2019, 10:08:16 AM
The actual problem is, I do not even think bounties are useful for project. There are thousands of projects on social media shared by those people. So how can one be seen better than other? Bounties should turn to 'Social mining' so people should compete with each other to create useful content. I really like the social mining concept to be honest.
Yes, agree that many bounty hunters take part in most of the bounty campaigns but that doesn't mean the project does not have good potential.
There are many projects which have a good potential but get hidden in the plethora of scam projects on the internet.
Bounty campaigns are a good way of promoting a project while earning some money but people have misused it a lot and hence too many scams started to take place.
These days people are much aware and alert of such scams.
4947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experience from day one on: October 12, 2019, 09:59:59 AM
If i am asked to write a story about my crypto accomplishments so far well i don't have any thing to write about except how much i have make, since 2018 i haven't make better money investing in crypto and for months i have invested in crappy projects because at that time i never understand why coins can be demanding, i think its same thing for most newbies too, i started my bounty journey but still nothing, instead every few dollars i made are from airdrops, yes i made reasonable money from airdrops like
-Apollo currency
- Blockstamp
- originalmy
- Data token
E t c, why haven't  my bounty tokens turned money? airdrops quickly get on exchanges and they are tradable but not bounty tokens, tell me whats your experience so far?
I believe it all depends on what the project is since you are directly investing in the project. If the project is good enough then you will automatically make money.
Not every airdrops are great and not every bounties are shit. Both the bounty and the airdrop have projects which are good and bad.
Most of the time it's all about luck.
4948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers, the biggest crypto problem on: October 12, 2019, 09:56:54 AM
Personally I think the main problem here is not only about scammers but education is one of the major role that caused cryptocurrency to be tainted and connected as a fraud. Many people do not do something called research before doing something, the majority of people who got scammed did not do proper research about what they were engaging for and in result leading them to get scammed by the scammers.

just if all of us have just a little bit of knowledge about cryptocurrency and have good control over our emotions, this scammer will not damage cryptocurrency this severely.

I agree to it partially. Most of the people who have been scammed would have at least made 1 mistake due to which the scammer was successful in scamming the victim.
It's obvious that we have to be careful and research on everything before we pay anybody.
Yes the education plays an important role but I have also seen many educated people making mistakes due to which they lose their money.
So we have to be right on our side before we complaint about others.
4949  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 things should not be too in trading on: October 10, 2019, 05:36:55 PM
Everybody has their own point of view and what you said is true to some extent but I think that if a person is making money through his strategies while losing some in other ways then he must be good to go as along as he is making profits eventually.
In my opinion, what matters is the amount of profit you are making at the of the day.
4950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Does trading fees really matter ? on: October 10, 2019, 05:00:19 PM
Most of the exchanges have a minimal trading fees of about 0.25%
I see many people discussing trading fees here and there and that how high the trading fees is.
Does 0.25% really make a huge difference if you are earning at least more than 2% ?
4951  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: choose forex trading or crypto trading..? on: October 10, 2019, 04:50:13 PM
before getting to know cyrpto I was involved in forex trading, then I switched to crypto trading, I think it's the same as forex trading turns out different, crypto is more difficult to predict and the movements are often irregular, for those of you who trade forex, it's more convenient forex or crypto,?
if I personally prefer analyzing in forex trading, but in the trading system it prefers crypto trading, I hope someday the crypto exchange will include various national currencies, so it not only provides crypto exchange but also exchange money between countries.
You are basically saying that crypto exchanges should not only include cryptocurrencies but also fiat currencies.
I don't think that fiat currencies will make it's way to crypto exchanges but yes cryptocurrencies that are backed by individual fiat currencies do already exist.
Also, bitcoin was designed to be an opponent of fiat currencies so for fiat currencies to be impelmented in crypto exchanges will not happen in a direct way.
4952  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need API platform on: October 10, 2019, 04:36:04 PM
I don't know many exchanges which has public APIs but I know that binance has a public API available that can be used to integrate trading with their platform.
Here is the link : https://binance-docs.github.io/apidocs/spot/en/#general-info
Link to binance exchange : https://www.binance.com/en
4953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Motivate currency exchangers in big city centres to exchange bitcoin ? on: October 08, 2019, 04:59:28 PM

Edit: Just noted that the OP is 2010, and that the dumbo above resurfaced the thread with spam (now deleted). Anyhow, the topic is still a viable discussion, and it goes to show that progress of the OP's idea has not moved along too much.
Also, if you noticed, OP was last active on May 29 2019. I wonder how the thread came up.

As for the major exchanges, it's a good option for them to use bitcoin since it will create an additional space of income.
I wonder if the exchanges that already use bitcoin uses KYC details before exchanging bitcoins because if they do then again that defeats the purpose of anonymity (not saying that bitcoin is completely anonymous) .
4954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I access my BTC and other wallets on Public Internet Cafe on: October 08, 2019, 04:20:12 PM
Yes there is and its called as Keylogger which stores every single key you have pressed on your keyboard and also takes the screenshot of the screen.
Also there are some advanced tools which also copies the data from your clipboard which means if you copy the private key then it will be stored by the tool.

Using cyber cafes is extremely risky and makes your wallet vulnerable. You can simply use your smartphone instead.
It will provide a better security when compared to cyber cafes.

@Royse777 haha Grin I was waiting for such a comment

P.S: I have used a Keylogger myself to track my borther's windows password and damn I was successful in owning his system  Grin
4955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Bitcoin commercials coming!!! on: October 08, 2019, 03:05:06 PM
Good to see bitcoin getting promoted globally. There are things like these that are needed to be done by individuals that will boost the promotion and adoption of bitcoin globally. Just imagine wide adoption taking place due to global promotion of bitcoin. Sounds amazing right!
Bitcoin needs to be advertised as a store of value and not as a money making scheme. Only then things will go straight for BTC.
4956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The One Thing That Could Stop Bitcoin on: October 08, 2019, 02:44:46 PM
While it's true that most of mining hashrate comes from the world populous country China, it's still not necessary that China will be able to overtake the bitcoin network. Also, as others said, it's not necessary that people from individual pools are from China itself. So it will really be hard for China to gather enough mining power to overtake the bitcoin network. Besides that, day by day the mining power is constantly getting distributed as more people are using the network and mining. So it would be even harder for China or any body to overtake the network as the mining power is getting distributed itself.
4957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Redistribution to the "right hands" on: October 07, 2019, 02:47:16 PM
Well I don't know if the fluctuations happen are intentionally done or not but I do know that it happens because of a sudden surge in price.
We all know that many early bitcoiners hold a large amount of bitcoins and this might signify that what you said is true.
If the amount of bitcoins is appropriately distributed among the people then the  volatility might reduce significantly.
4958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the dangers inside cryptocurrency investing on: October 07, 2019, 02:17:34 PM
People have a misconception that investing in cryptocurrencies would yield them huge returns.
While it's partially true, people must know that not it's not necessary that everybody who invests in crypto will definitely earn huge returns.
If 1 person has got huge returns there will be 10 others who would have lost their money.
Since it's a decentralized market you can consider it as if 1 person is winning on one side then there is 1 person who has lost on the other side.
So you might not be lucky every time.
4959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The World’s Most-Preferred Cryptocurrency Isn’t Bitcoin on: October 06, 2019, 04:47:45 PM
Most preferred ?
Yes it is the most preferred when BTC is going down in price. Just sell the BTC and buy tether just to buy back the BTC when it starts to rise.
Although we don't know the time it bull/bear trend, I guess many people use USDT just so that they can trade with BTC at a later point in time.
I don't find any other usecase for tether hence making it least preferred for any other usecase.
4960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Is The Right Time To Trade Your Tokens on: October 06, 2019, 04:41:10 PM
There is no right or wrong time to trade I believe. You just have to plan your strategy well and the execute the trade while following the plan.
If your strategy worked well, then you just earned some money else change the strategy and repeat.
