4961  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [C# / .NET] Unofficial Bitcointalk API - Get info from boards, topics and posts on: December 10, 2018, 05:08:12 PM
Something in JSON format would have been great. Could have been accessible from PHP as well.

The current forum doesn't have one so what you can do is very limited, but epochtalk which is still under development has a REST API.
4962  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading using API keys on: December 10, 2018, 12:53:06 PM
I know tradingview and I used to use it a lot, but I did not know they had api key interface. Can you give me a link or something?

I've never used them myself but It should have a trading panel, I found this about Poloniex: https://blog.tradingview.com/en/can-now-trade-poloniex-crypto-exchange-tradingview-7139/

So you might want to check, I believe more exchanges are supported.
4963  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [coinb.in] Open Source, Multi Signature, HD Wallet, SegWit/Bech32 and more! on: December 10, 2018, 12:08:18 PM
Is this project still maintained by OP?

The last commit on the GitHub repository was on 26th of August and he's still active in the forums so I don't think It's abandoned.
4964  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H] PayPal [W] BTC/ETH/LTC/Any major crypto (Veteran Trader on Reddit) on: December 10, 2018, 11:51:52 AM
Sold my BTC for his PayPal (150$), very fast and smooth transaction.

The transaction ID: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/b885497d238282101a46003de002541d6a40480142ca5685bad1c9b0f784ef5c
4965  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger is having a Winter Holiday promotion! on: December 09, 2018, 07:50:46 PM
But this also can be seen as way to get more BTC if they believe BTC price will rise again

Exactly my thoughts. I think Ledger nano S is the most sold hardware wallet out there. If you visit every thread on the forums about hardware wallet, you'll see that people are suggesting both Trezor and Ledger nano S so I doubt it has anything to do with them not being able to sell more. The fact that they haven't done this before shows that they are simply trying to accumulate much more bitcoins, playing it smart in my opinion.
4966  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: VPS server hosting like bithost.io on: December 09, 2018, 07:34:23 PM
You're using free credit and then use their API to resell? I mean how could it be profitable If you're going to sell at the same price?

Regardless though, you will have to compete with both Bithost.io and BitLaunch. I suggest checking at their prices first. If you're not offering something new or competitive rates, there is no reason for people to use a new service.
4967  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto exchanges comparison [trade fee + listing fee + age + mobile app + more!] on: December 09, 2018, 05:48:03 PM
I think you should change the date for Blockchain.com because they haven't started exchange services until recently (for fiat it was January 2018 IIRC). People would assume that this service is good because it lasted since 2011 which is not necessarily the case.

I also believe they use Simplex for credit card buying, and ShapeShift/Changelly for the rest. It could be a good idea to write a warning at the bottom of the thread telling me people that their identity could be exposed to other parties.
4968  Economy / Currency exchange / [H] 1200$ BTC [N] PayPal on: December 09, 2018, 05:18:12 PM
I'm going to need up to 1200$. I'm not going to this with one person only.

I prefer trading with multiple individuals instead, anything higher then 150$ is fine. The rates should be 1:1 with preev.com

If you're not highly ranked and not a reputable member, please don't bother posting here.
4969  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Human readable addresses on: December 09, 2018, 10:18:57 AM
I believe you're referring to ENS Domains which we don't have an equivalent for in bitcoin. We do have Bit.co.in but It's not as good. It's also not supported by wallets, exchanges etc. so one cannot simply use the link in services, you'll have to visit and copy paste the address/QR code.
4970  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [C# / .NET] Unofficial Bitcointalk API - Get info from boards, topics and posts on: December 09, 2018, 08:57:14 AM
Assuming that you still need feedback about this, It's unable to parse some sections. I've tried Beginners & Help and Legal sections and it worked just fine however for Bitcoin discussion and Digital goods, I'm having the following error:

My guess is it's because of the subsections that these sections have but not sure If it's possible to get the link for "Digital goods" without having the others included inside the page.
4971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To save bitcoin - stop buying bitcoin cash on: December 09, 2018, 08:35:26 AM
I couldn't agree more with the post above. The statement in OP is more valid when it comes to the other altcoins then about BCH and BSV.

If everyone sells the altcoins they got, and I'm referring to the ones that literally has no use (and believe me, there are many), the forked coins will have no impact on the market anymore.
4972  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to pull Coinmarketcap.com Data to a text file? on: December 08, 2018, 08:02:04 PM
I'm not aware of any methods to do that like with Excel where you could install plugins. It shouldn't be hard to achieve though (If I understood what you're trying to achieve). Try to go with C# and Json.net.
4973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading using API keys on: December 08, 2018, 04:11:22 PM
Aside from Coingy that has been suggested above, TradingView is the probably another service you want to try. You have multiple options to go with and each has 30 days free trial: https://www.tradingview.com/gopro/
4974  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Do you know any p2p lending projects based on blockchain? on: December 07, 2018, 04:30:29 PM
As said above, most of the people use fake documents. These platforms don't ensure users fund's safety. If you want to lend or get a loan, the best place is the lending section in the forums. From all the options I've seen, It's probably the least risky.
4975  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Explorer disk space? on: December 06, 2018, 06:53:19 PM
There are multiple blockexplorer that are open source, you could check them out. A database-free one, but I doubt it has as many features as the others. Or also BlockCypher's and Bitpay's (Insight).
4976  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Address Generator on: December 05, 2018, 07:21:32 PM
I like the idea but I'm afraid no one is going to use this because It's not open source and we can't know whether you're saving the generated private keys in your servers or not.
4977  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [PSA] Native support for Ethereum in Trezor web interface! on: December 05, 2018, 04:56:37 PM
Finally, I've been waiting for this for a long time. I still wish they would've started with bc1 addresses support first though.

I'm pretty sure It's stable and there is no risk of losing funds but do you have an idea when this is going to get pushed for the main wallet?
4978  Economy / Exchanges / Re: About Binance's DEX on: December 05, 2018, 04:19:23 PM
It has absolutely no similarities with the first Sneak Preview they made when it comes to the UI (posted in the OP). Are they planning to build both a web and a desktop interface?
4979  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto exchanges comparison [trade fee + listing fee + age + mobile app + more!] on: December 05, 2018, 03:27:57 PM
Are you sure about Bittrex and the KYC? I remember having an account there and I couldn't withdraw my funds, they forced me to pass identity verification which I refused to do. I think it became obligatory for some time now.

4980  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitSkins withdrawal on: December 05, 2018, 12:51:34 PM
It was the trade ban (15 days) indeed. The reason why I didn't think about trying to trade because I have traded that same day with a friend and It went okay but I forgot that I did a password reset which resulted in having the Steam authenticator disabled.
