CMC is now become centralized, whereas Coingecko is still not controlled by a centralized system. Another reason for not using CMC anymore is that is now very slow and takes a lot of time to load because of the advertisement. Coingecko on the other hand is fast and simple to use.
I also don't like CMC ads that they display quite a lot, sometimes if the connection is not too good, to open CMC must wait some time, but unlike Coingecko their website is simpler than CMC and their coin list is also more complete The ads is a way for CMC to get the money. Coingecko needs to rebuild its UI as it's really annoying to see that. CMC is much more simple but in term of data collection and formula and I still prefer coingecko rather than CMC but I think there was a better site called cryptorank. |

After everything I will trust Binance until I realized the problem. In my point if Binance get success by monopolize than everything can control Binance coin. By wishes any project can success, cryptocurrency is for not to do that, after stock crisis 10 years ago, cryptocurrency is trying make independent everything.
Binance is very huge empire. From exchanges and firm that they acquired it surely proves how strong they are. I am not saying this will ruin the crypto market and point of view of other people, but this is a good start that Binance extending their wide range of businesses. Coinmarketcap is one of the best analysis tool and portfolio tracker, I am looking forward on how Binance can improve it perfectly. Binance is indeed dominating the entire crypto market, and recently CZ acquired CMC which surprised many investors. I think in the near future, Binance will be the most mentioned name, and new investors will tend to choose more investment. Of course, this is just my prediction, and it all depends on how CZ is developing because he has a lot of say in the crypto market. It usually takes under one minute for me but it also depends on how much gas and gwei you are using for the transaction, if you are using low values then the transaction can take more time for faster transactions use recommended gas and gwei settings.
I have seen 24 hours pending time. Didn't know that eth network was badly conjested and my gas was low so it took miners hours to process it. Since then I always check the ethgasstation.info before proceeding You must try to push your transaction if that was getting pending more than 24 hours. If your transaction didn't get priority by the block and then when there was a new transaction that has been putting more fees than your transaction, the block will actually confirmed the new tx rather than your old tx. |
