4961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HELP] Ethereum Transaction on: July 04, 2020, 11:26:25 AM
It's probably that the ETH wallet itself was compromised. However, the attacker might have a flow in his code that's why you see some weird transactions, fee is high as compare to the amount being transfer. So obviously, the next logical thing to do is not used that wallet anymore, or better yet, check the machine itself, it could have been some virus/malware that can potentially steal more of his crypto. It's good thought that the amount is not the big.

This is how CSW should proved that he is Satoshi,

Charlie Lee signing into Litecoin Genesis block, proving that he is the creator.

4964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty managers can do better on: July 03, 2020, 01:38:53 PM
I once wished that bounty hunters can come together as one to escape the ruined reputations of bounty hunters and the unfair ways we've been treated but I think this can easily be done not by bounty hunters but by bounty managers
How? As much as I hate to say this, bounty hunters are just simply that, hunting project to earn some penny and then move along.

If bounty managers can starts doing screening on new bounty projects scam rate will be limit, for example come face to face with team using video chat and forcing them to do KYC just to confirm they are real, this day many new projects only chat with bounty managers and that's all, I think this is why bounty detective can't figure out that kingcasino scammers are from Nigeria[/b]

Please bounty manager make sure the team you doing a job for are real atleast, don't just take a job through chats only
I think they do, but they don't control everything, they are just a manager, if the project choose to exit scam then they can't do anything about it. Plus their reputation are ruined, how many bounty managers have we seen being tagged already? Many of them.
4965  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Motivation on: July 03, 2020, 12:33:59 PM
I guess if you are going to look at what's going to happen to you in the next five years, then I'm sure you will be motivated to reach your goal, regardless if you involved your self in crypto or not. So you have to really look at other ways to generate income and continue to learn. And if I may just add, of course you will falter along the way, but don't get discourage and learn to get up and learn from your mistakes.
4966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]Robeisy Ramirez vs Adan Gonzales on: July 03, 2020, 12:15:34 PM

Done betting Cool, use eth instead of btc because of high transaction fee atm on transferring bitcoin.

Unfortunately, the streak has stopped as the Filipino lost his fight against a tall Albert Bell, at 6'0 and obviously take advantage by using his jab to make Mark Bernaldez very uncomfortable in the early going of the fight. And it was a shut out as all the 3 judges score the fight for Bell, 100-90.

https://www.boxingscene.com/albert-bell-easily-boxes-past-mark-bernaldez-decision-win--149928

Not bad on trying to get some luck, that odds was really attractive but it's very clear from the very beginning that Bell has a bigger chance of winning since he is the heavy favorite, if it resulted to an upset, that could have give @bisdak40  a good return of his bet.
Just the breaks of the game mate, @bisdak40 take the risk again, but it didn't went his way. Just another day for a gambler. I haven't seen the fight myself, but just looking at the physical stats on paper, the Filipino is really at a dis-advantage but I'm sure the Filipino warrior mentality and did try his best. Good learning experience for him though. We don't know, we might hear from this Mark Bernaldez in the future.
4967  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fake MEW on Google Play on: July 03, 2020, 11:39:56 AM
Google needs to step up their shit. I used to frequently crap at Apple for their App Store being super restrictive and for their OS being a "walled garden", but I've recently been advocating for the usage of iPhones for non-tech literate friends and family due to crap like this.

There is no doubt that the iPhone is far better security-wise than an android phone and the same is applicable to the store. I have been using both and found the iPhone far better in security. Almost all apps are payable and that is one of the reasons why people do not fiddle with apps store. Whereas on Google store every app is free and people would download anything just to check how it works.
Well, this is completely up for debate, but I would agree that security wise, Iphone or IOS is far more better specially if we are going to compare it regarding this security. But there are still majority who wanted to used Google so it's really up to them. Specially if they are a crypto enthusiast and suddenly feel a victim for this kind of attacks from cyber criminals. Sometimes you really need to experience this kind of things (although its not good), before realizing which one is better.
4968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin truly a safe-haven asset? on: July 02, 2020, 11:13:42 AM
I don't think there's really a asset that we can call safe-haven to begin with. There is gold, but it also had some ups and downs. As for bitcoin, really depends on how you look at it, of course bitcoin maximalist and fanatics are going to preach how it will be a good hedge in this pandemic. But you have to understand how volatile it is, the risk involved, supply-and-demand scenario, etc. So it's really hard to answer your questions.
4969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock Fight on: July 02, 2020, 10:41:33 AM
This shouldn't be allowed anywhere in the first place. The animals most likely consider it as real fight... which makes things look like you(humans) are encouraging them to fight and hate themselves, probably against their will.
They usually avoid conflicts amongst themselves otherwise we will be seeing cocks fighting on their own every time/day.

We humans should actually be helping them live in peace and not fighting themselves

We may have a different view on this but for me putting elephants in the circus and forced to performed in front of a crowd is more cruel than cockfighting because Elephants are not born to perform in circus unlike cocks that they are born to fight. It's their instinct that whenever they see another cock they would fight it anytime of the day.
There will always be a contentions in every sport, specially that involves animals, like in this case, fighting cocks. And I agree that there will be people on the opposite side. Personally, I don't see any issue with it, and I myself have been betting on cock fighting and it was part of our culture. I have nothing against those who opposes it, but then again, we have varied opinions here.
4970  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Russian Court: Theft Of 100 BTC Isn’t A Crime Because Bitcoin Isn’t Property on: July 02, 2020, 09:55:39 AM
Just show how Russia is really ignorant of BTC or you can't ruled out that ehem, maybe they themselves got the BTC from the ciminals themselves (just my speculation). But if you have to think about it, doesn't make sense for the judge not to rule in favor of the victims, in terms of the BTC stolen. And this is the reason why Russia really lags as far as implementing crypto regulations or they simply don't what to accept BTC.
4971  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Accusations Against HEX & Founder on: June 30, 2020, 11:20:27 AM
Hello guys. Take a look at this honest HEX review. It might be useful if you are wondering whether Hex is a scam or a legit project. Take a look and decide for yourself!
https://baserank.io/market-feed/reviews/YMmLkhi8KYpabybjf?utm_source=asset-bitcointalk&utm_medium=organic-post&utm_campaign=hex-review-ondrej-6-30-2020&utm_term=&utm_content=
Who would take your word here, specially a newly created account just to shill for this project? HEX has been called out multiple times in this community and we have heard so much about this scam already. You don't need to be. rocket scientist to see that this project is really fraudulent from the very get go so stop shilling for it. Believed me, members here are more intelligent than that.
4972  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Crypto-Currency not Legal Tender in Nigeria - CBN on: June 30, 2020, 11:00:14 AM
Legal or not, Nigeria is slowly becoming a hub for crypto scammers, Nigerian SEC warns about iBSmartify investment. So we really need to be careful specially those programs like those, who are promising huge returns. Those warnings from Nigerian SEC should be enough for our fellow Nigerian crypto enthusiast to used their "logical thinking" as not to fall for this trick.
4973  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Lost $9,300, Bearish Re-test In Play? on: June 30, 2020, 10:45:28 AM
We are green today, but I don't see any FUD though, it's just that traders are cashing it out and waiting how the market will play. We are still above $9k, indication that we are neither bullish or bearish. We are in the boredom phase, Lol, unless there is break out run this July that will make the market very lively, so let's wait and see.
4974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Physical Casinos Decoded : on: June 30, 2020, 10:00:12 AM
If it is established that the player and the dealer colluded. Wouldn't that be considered fraud?

Who established that, the casino?

If so, they don't even need an investigation into the matter, as in this case they can be the law unto themselves as well as the law enforcement agency. If we are talking about legal institutions, though, the fact of collusion can only be established in the court of law after the plaintiff reveals all of their evidence to that effect and the judge finds this evidence convincing and sufficient
Here is one case in the Philippines wherein the card dealer was colluding with his friends and has raked a total of 5 million PHP or roughly $100K. They did some investigations, and then called NBI (local FBI) and the police made the arrest on the casino floor itself.

4975  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] ebay listing on: June 30, 2020, 09:46:15 AM
Nice, catch, just recently, I have seen this in Ebay: BTC/ETH contract in Ebay, looks very shady???. So by now it's obvious that Ebay has been taken advantage of scammers as well. Personally, I haven't heard of Ebay being used by crypto bad actors, but it seems I'm very wrong. Every platform that they can used as a tool to cheat/scam others, they will do it in a heartbeat.

4977  Economy / Scam Accusations / Nigerian SEC warns about iBSmartify investment on: June 29, 2020, 10:44:28 PM
Re: Activities Of An Illegal Operator IBSmartify Nigeria

Quote
The attention of the Commission has been drawn to the activities of iBSmartify Nigeria the promoters of a Blockchain known as iBledger (iBcashcryptocurrency) and InksNation.

The general public is hereby advised that neither the promoters of iBSmartify Nigeria nor the illegal products they offer are registered or regulated by the Commission.

In view of the above, the general public is hereby WARNED that any person dealing with the said entity and others in the same business in any manner whatsoever, does so at his/her own risk.

https://sec.gov.ng/re-activities-of-an-illegal-operator-ibsmartify-nigeria/

For our Nigerian crypto enthusiast out there, just be careful of this iBSmartify, they are not registered to Nigerian SEC so chances are, the people behind can pull a exit scam and then BOOM, all your money gone.

4979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VeChain to be used to verifiy authenticity of Nike Shoes on: June 29, 2020, 02:53:36 PM
Those guys behind VeChain are clearly on the right track. Using blockchain tech to incorporate it into our daily lives. That's adoption right there.
Imagine if Nike would take notice of this and officially partner up with them. Shocked For such a huge brand, if they do that, it would create a rippling effect ('cause we all know competitors don't want to get left behind  Roll Eyes)
Then, we might be able to see the blockchain tech being adopted by various brands in various industries.  Wink
And it will surely eliminate those fake shoes globally, which I think is the biggest problem that will be solved in this is going to be successful and Nike started to adopt it specially, with their high end shoes. And if you are a reseller or a buyer, you're not going to be suspicious and probably willing to pay huge amount if you yourself can authenticate it through blockchain.

Unlike today, wherein there are companies that supposedly an expert and authenticate it for you. But sometimes fake shoes are a bit tricky just be looking at it.
4980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Physical Casinos Decoded : on: June 29, 2020, 01:00:03 PM
Lol, a couple of players winning big in a casino won't mean that they will go bankrupt. Remember that it is a business and they have deep pockets to begin with. I'm not sure if you have been in a physical casinos, because everyday there are literally gamblers winning jackpot in slots but it doesn't mean that casinos will suddenly file for bankruptcy. And I don't think that you will get an outright ban if you win big. Casinos are more intelligent than that, they investigate first before banning someone, just not in their casino, but I'm sure that the word will go out in other casinos. So it will take time, unless as I have said you cheated your way.
If a gambler keep hitting too much jackpots on game like blackjack then they will be surely kicked out from the casinos and they will tell that you are cheating the game by counting cards which is actually impossible to prove by them but still they will ban you based on suspicious causes.

You can check forum like reddit to see how man people were kicked our from casinos for no reasons.
Blackjack is different though, there's no such thing as jackpot on them, and I do hope you know that blackjack has the highest odds of winning. If you are talking like slots games and winning jackpot then there's no way that you can simply be kick on ban just because you are lucky or really be rigging the machine itself which the mafia has done before but eventually they have been caught.
