4961  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes every crypto trader should avoid on: March 05, 2020, 09:42:28 PM
The advise is all great but most of us already are aware of these rules, the only problem though is standing by them as emotions can often drive our actions much more than we anticipate. One aspect is that no one really knows for certain when and how much to go in and so inevitably there will be times when one makes a loss but at least its all part of the experience and one hopes that these mistakes get minimised overtime.

And this is the thing, though, although we hear and know what to do when it comes to trading it's like we don't respect those unless we experience the pain - funny isn't it!

We have read up countless suggestion and advises like this on things that should really be avoided when trading up.Its already common but people do still fail on following even these basic things.I agree that the greatest factor that affects a certain trader is into its emotion. This is a strong force that would really mess things up if you dont able to control it.Experience is one of the most needed things because as a human being its just normal for us to react when we lose money or even win towards the market, so being emotional is always there, the thing here is that we should know how to deal and react on things according to any situation.
4962  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ex-Coinbase CTO Argues Bitcoin Will Likely Hit $100,000 Using Coronavirus on: March 05, 2020, 09:18:09 PM

https://beincrypto.com/ex-coinbase-cto-argues-bitcoin-will-likely-hit-100000-using-coronavirus-spread-pattern/

Bitcoin to $100k (Based on Stochastic Model)
Angel investor, cryptocurrency trader, and former Coinbase CTO Balaji S. Srinivasan underlined this similarity between the BTC price and the spread pattern of coronavirus earlier today in a series of tweets.

Stochastic? Coronavirus?

Im wondering on what others things would be thrown out just to tagged it up with bitcoin price.Come to think that we cant even hit up on previous ATH
how much more on talking about 100k? They should be at least realistic but well as expected to these popular people on making their own words towards
price prediction does really give some buzz but doesnt deliver something new or just simply they are tending to hype for them to sell out?  Grin
Expect for people to set things up and everyone can really make their own speculation basing or trying up to connect things which we do able to see that its quite irrelevant if we do think up carefully.
$100k+ price does really need that full adoption and imagining on what would be the cap into that particular time.Corona virus isnt something a solid reason for it to drive the price to be this high.
So its already been crossed out on the selection.
4963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: March 05, 2020, 07:56:54 PM
I'm here to talk about bounties with long duration, I know we all have our experience with short term bounties and long term bounties but I have come to understand that it doesn't matter, here is my own experience
Last year I promoted E3T bounty project for 4weeks duration and I earned 30$
In 2018 I promoted Airwallet for more than 14 weeks and I earned over a thousand dollar

Durations doesn't matter, small duration bounties can pay high rewards and long duration bounties can pay worse rewards, it's all vice versa, what matters is the quality of the project you promote

I did have some coins that had pumped out wayback when i do earn those tokens in 2018 or or early 2019 which had make out some money when the market tends to recover.
Im aint expecting for those shitcoins to rise up but the good thing here is that someone do decide to pump it out then go back to its normal once again or shall we say a
single pump.

Duration on how you do advertise the project isnt really a serious connection yet you cant still be sure if those are legit or capable enough even they do tend to pump on further years.
You wont know if it did just pump out intentionally.

The yobit exchange is going to launch new ico again with one more yobit token are going ready to trap the investors and the token sales is going to start soon. So will share more information about that token soon here or any one know about that please share your thoughts here.
So you mean about new IEO countdown on here: https://yobit.net/en/ico/timer?

Yobit tries to return to look for funds in this way because when they launch a new token it will get capital from investors and they have a target for new traders who are not very familiar with the risks, indeed the exchange place of Yobit has a bad reputation and has made a lot of disappointment so for traders who have been in the forum for a long time and already have a lot of experience it will understand that this is very risky and dangerous.

When would people do realize that this exchange isnt really worth for their funds to be invested specially to those projects who had been suggested or being sale out to this place.
That Yodollars do still have that issue and now we are seeing once again for another launching of IEO. Hope people are already wise enough to realize that this really be worth of.
Just amazed on how this exchange survive for this long in spite of its negative reputation.

4966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Casino Affiliates - starting point on: March 04, 2020, 07:57:35 PM

Never market any operator before you are aware of its internal marketing capabilities.

The reason is very simple, when you send the traffic you like players to be accommodated, entertained, to get promotions, offers and to keep on playing. If they are not getting emails, special offers, have support and get VIP style communication - its a mutual lost of your traffic.

Why would proceed if you do look that they arent capable enough on giving out those common user needs?

Of course you should really at least be concern on the site that you are marketing into rather than wasting up your time and effort into things
which most likely to be failed because of those lacking factors.

Affiliating isnt easy but there are still people who are really into this.
4967  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If we have great ability, is capital from bank loans safe for us to use trade? on: March 04, 2020, 07:29:32 PM
It is not safe. You're not 100% sure that you will earn in trading in order to pay your loan. Loans do have interest and you'll not gonna like seeing it growing because you have no money to pay for it. For now it is OK to use small capital. At least he can still afford to lose some small capital. As what you have said he manage to make profit, then make that small capital grow.
Tend to agree with this, borrowing money with someone else or even in the bank is a very risky part because you don't know if you will earn a profit or lose. Start with a big capital in trading is a good idea but when it comes borrowing on it just to have capital isn't a good idea anymore. Because trading for me is just like gambling, you didn't know it will give accurate profit. That's why I prefer capital that I can afford whether win or loss at least that's come from my own pocket.

The possible outcome or consequences is probably double jeopardy.
Your thinking is not wrong when loans from banks always force us to pay monthly profits, besides, trading has no concept of absolute success, so we will have a lot of pressure, from making a profit, avoiding loss and paying interest to the bank but we still need to remember that trading is not completely gambling when we have the knowledge, and no investment is 100% guaranteed. If the risk could be doubled, the profits would correspond, even more when we make money in the crypto market, therefore, with sufficient confidence in the skills, this option may still be considered
It always can be considered or an option to take if you are that confident to your skills towards trading. This is way more better than spending those loaned money into something which isnt worth
or doesnt generate  income for you like gambling or just simply shopping out those funds or according to your likes and doing such thing is just like hammering your own head since
you do just simply making a problem when the repayment or due date comes.

We know the capability of trading on making tremendous profits if its done well and some sort of luck which paying up that loan will be somewhat easy.
4968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DAMMIT, I missed another profit opportunity!!! on: March 04, 2020, 05:56:26 PM
I bought more Litecoin at $61 a few weeks ago, then watched its price rise to the low 80s.

Then everyone started shitting themselves over this Corona Virus bullshit, so the price retreated to $60 again.  If I'd been able to predict the future I'd have sold at $80 and bought back in at $60, but I didn't.

So I lost some profits.  Farq.

I know the feels man and you arent alone on experiencing such thing where missing out profits on a particular time due to some reason
either you are still aiming for more or  just missed out because you have forgotten or simply do held up for long term.
Ive experienced lots of situations like this but better to move on and dont stress out yourself into those potential profits
because it will just mess up your further trading analysis.Just continue on what you are doing and do learn into those mistakes but
i do say that this one is unavoidable because of speculative characteristic of this market.

As usual where corrections do happen after a certain hype or price increase.
4970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from hackers. on: March 03, 2020, 02:03:23 PM
Never click on any unknown link. These links are promoted by hackers in different ways. They send most phishing links via email. Don't join any giveaway that wants your private key. I saw that by attending the giveaway, many were victims of hackers. Simple.
It is true,

Most crypto users become a victim of hacking because of this trick. And since this is free they just click the link and log in their wallet on the fake website that hackers made. That's why it is better to investigate if the website is legit first and see for yourself if it is really a giveaway. Also, don't just easily log in the wallet to being a victim of hacking.
I was almost a victim of this, but except that it was an airdrop email to me. People should be aware that just because the site is quite fancy, doesn't mean that the people behind the monitor of those sites would do you any good.
This is one of those sites that could've probably successfully baited 70% of newbies in altcoin airdrops, because one of those site claims that they're in partnership with MEW and it is gonna require users to put in their wallet into the site for the tokens to be received.

When we are still noobs then its no surprise that we are really prone to the risk on getting fooled yet we do still lack knowledge and awareness
this is why as a part of risk management we should really let ourselves learn from others experiences so that we would able to avoid things that we would
definitely meet up along the way.All informations needed can really be read up online, it will just need you to have some effort to at least read up those things.
4971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all projects are bad on: March 03, 2020, 12:54:55 PM
If you are a developer and you develop a new project and build a good team and after several months of promoting the project you don't met your expectations yet you never give up won't others say bad thing about the project and the teams? This is happening with few good projects in crypto space but many failed to understand, they want their half cake quickly e.g bounty hunters, to say the truth it's not easy to be a developer, not all projects that failed are bad, they might not just meet their expectations
You can blame those people on not to trust easily with most projects in the market currently due to lots of scams and frauds do happen after all these years. Its no surprise that people would really have that kind of expectation or treatment even into those legit projects.

Its true that not all projects are scams but even though they are high likely to fail, projects now that arent passing through IEO would hardly get financial support.I cant even spot
a project that succeeded on accumulating funds through ICO these days or im just missing out.
4972  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy on Friday and Sell on Monday on: March 01, 2020, 03:49:48 AM
Not entirely true... I have been following bitcoin prices for weeks every day and in fact sometimes the reverse happens.
When the drop starts on Friday, expect it to go further down even on Monday so this theory will only get you loses if the trend is bearish
Another i noticed is that there are certain hours throughout the day when there is high volatility and low volatility depending on the trend.

Fluctuations always happened in an unexpected scenario, that's why bearish market will normally occurring on that opportunity. You can't do buy and sell if the market changes isn't capable within your timeframe. Being a trader, it's difficult to plan in accordance to your desire to achieve profit, we really need to manage our asset seriously and focusing on strategic analysis.
Lots of factors that do really affect your trades and as said it would really be need some serious handling of your asset and proper planning if you do like
to succeed.

I dont really believe on saying or telling that there are particular days which do really need for you to buy and sell yet any day would be the possible day
for you do buy and sell depending on the situation of the market.Lots of people do keep always do tell that there are patterns or somewhat similar movements
which they do apply their basis and use it as their signal.
4973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Fake freewallet mails, Beware on: March 01, 2020, 02:57:49 AM
I prefer wallets that dont know my email or any other information. OWNR wallet, Exodus, etc
Any wallet that doesn't request for mails and password always have backups like private keys and mnemonic seeds, any wallet that ask for mails to sign up wallet accounts are dangerous and you can only recover your fund with email and password
Not at all.Try to look blockchain info which do need some identifier and password but you could at least get up the seed which is important when you try out to import into other wallet.

I just dont suggest to make use of custodial wallets or simply to those wallet service or even exchange wallets that dont give out its users with the wallet keys
There are lots of scamming attempts that do happen into this market and you should be aware and be sensible in any actions you made if you dont like
for your funds to be compromised.
4974  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: February 29, 2020, 11:49:05 PM
Diversification is still quite important if you want to minimize the risk while also trying to make more money as well. I understand that you want as little risk as possible and that is definitely just buying bitcoin and holding but at the same time we are talking about missing out from the big increases from all others and when you minimize the risk so much that you are missing out the profits, that is not good at all neither.

So, I suggest everyone to actually diversify their portfolio into the top 10 minus some bad ones and you can actually have a bigger increase as well (or a bigger fall of course) in order to both minimize the risk versus people who buy very very tiny volume coins outside of top 100 but also still have some chance of profitability.
We can minimize the risk if we try other coins to trade not only the top 10 you can try the other altcoins and you can trade it to make profit

Are you sure about that?

Because I'm not at all. As I see it and as all my trading experience tells me, adding more altcoins actually increases your risks, not reduces them. If Bitcoin is the top cryptocurrency in terms of reliability, adding anything to your portfolio less reliable than Bitcoin would only make it weaker, less resilient, robust and stable

You will be opening yourself up to more risks, which are inherent to altcoins. If anything, altcoins should be used as a profit generating device (if you are able to time the market), not as a hedge
People do really have that mindset on diversifying is always a best option and doesnt only stick on one basket. You do got the point though about opening yourself
into various risk because of choosing alts but it doesnt always mean that they arent capable on reducing the risk but you should stick to those established or high ranking
ones rather than considering on some shitcoins and hoping for some pump. Each trader do have its own way on reducing risk it might be appealing to others but as said you cant
please anyone. Wink
4975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Airdrop do you think will perform the best in future and Why? on: February 29, 2020, 10:49:18 PM
I never had any idea about Mimble Wimble Coin (MWC), HEX Token (HEX) and CPD Token (CPD) forks and i believe that you are talking about forks as there are no airdrops, i am sure there a multiple forks of bitcoin but i would like to know why you selected these coins. I do hold BCH and BSV as they were the major forks and i never bothered about the rest of the coins.

Im also sure that he do talks or mentions about Forked ones and im not aware about its being airdropped.lol Both things are entirely different.

Same as you said i do only aware with BSV and BCH and the rest are total shitcoins i do say.Talking about future? Well, same as usual, theres no such thing
about assurance on how these projects do perform on upcoming years.

I do even get rid of forked btc out there and i dont support these stuffs from the beginning.
4976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: February 29, 2020, 10:17:14 PM
Well, for me esports betting is really easy and you have a higher percentage of winning. Being an avid fan of a certain game that you'll be betting in, for example, Dota 2 or League Of Legends you basically have the edge in winning because you know who is the players involved in each team.
The only tip that I'll be giving to you is just to know what game and the team you are betting in and surely you will earn tons of money.
Not at all and just like on typical sports we've known even how favorite on a certain team it isnt a guaranteed thing for you to win yet there are still upsets
that do happen along the way the only thing differs here is that the no. of participants are just few which means you do only have to select a few of them
not like on sports ex. NBA where there are lots to choose from which would really give out confusion from time to time but overall the key on winning is to analyze
things when it comes to stats and also be wary of news that do happens along the way.
4977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with so many pages in one thread on: February 29, 2020, 09:38:41 PM
If a crypto project has so many pages in just one single thread on this forum, does that mean they are doing good work with their project, keeping focused every day and their supporters are also active and contributing with good content each day? or a project having many pages in one thread has to do with other reasons?

I have seen the Dash project, for example, having a lot of pages in just one thread, and they are one of the top threads in the altcoins section.

If a project has many pages and they keep very active does that guarantees the potential buyers a good investment with them?

You cant tell but talking about those top Alts like dash then it did already able to withstant the test of time and its just normal to have those lots of pages on its own thread but it doesnt mean that it is good into some projects.

You can spot out which one do talks about development or simply the project is still on sale or ico time. You can tell which one does have potential and which one is trash thats why we should really be careful on selecting.

We cant still tell on which one would able to stand the test of time or would die eventually on the way of their development yet all would vary on community support.
4978  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, gambling and binary options. Which one you prefer? on: February 29, 2020, 09:15:10 PM
Some years ago, I learned how trade. So, I trade and gamble. Later, I like binary options.
Isn't Binary Options trading too? You lost me there because I know it is. Gambling is the odd one there in your list. From your story, it's obvious your problem is over confidence in your trading plan and using large lot size/stake. No trading plan or system is perfect. There are draw downs from time to time and to survive this draw down when it comes is to "not over lot size". Money Management is very important in trading.
Yeah its trading but it is somewhat like  gambling yet you would need to guess only two things which is either higher or lower into the price you bought in.

This can be studied though unlike gambling which do really based on luck most of the time but i havent tend to engaged with BO yet i dont really trust up much those
platforms when it comes to their price tickers.

Trading would be the best choice for long term.
4979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what is the best way to trade cryotocurrency and which currency is hot on: February 28, 2020, 11:16:21 PM
Hello, saw a thread about people being curious about how they can trade bitcoin and triple their profit in one week, that's so bad and I will tag it as ignorance, Also if a helping hand is passed out to such victims they will seem to take you as the scammer himself then look at the scammer as the real one, because they will probably fall for the ones that promised them easy riches. So my question is what are the needed key points that can be used to hold down People to know that most offers that are too good to be true are scam. Because they won't listen, even my siblings fall into scam right in my presence because I couldn't convince them about the scam.

If they wont listen, just let them be yet those people would just eventually learn if they do experience loss of money in the process.

Greed is hard to control once its being showed into your front and its hard to reject it and people can easily ignore others advice when it comes to money.
They would eventually learn in the process and later on they would realize that earning money here on crypto space is just the same when you do trying to
earn on real life.

4980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin market speculation ?? on: February 28, 2020, 10:47:35 PM
When can we learn and understand that no one will ever able to predict the exact position of the market within few hours. Analysis might be what you need if you're ever aiming to know the possible next thing to happen for the market.

Like this day, no one has ever expected that bitcoin will go down as low as $8,500.
If for daily or about a few hours it might be predicted by traders who are professional by using technical or fundamental analysis. To learn both analytical techniques is very difficult, it takes a long time. But the market situation is inseparable from the demand and supply that occurs.
They can predict but there are occasions that they don't really get the right result. I will not argue with what you have said about that because those professional traders actually got it through time, effort, experience and money.

It took them a lot of time to master the reading of charts and even though they are good with that, still, they are aware that sometimes what they have predicted don't happen.
Theres no such thing about having that constant or perfect trade no matter how pro or veteran you are into this market.Nothing is on guaranteed result.
Its really hard to predict thing that would happen again since we know that theres no certain thing that anyone foreseen thing ahead but somewhat due to
our experience and knowledge we can already presume things and at least have the probability on profiting basing on our speculations had been made
As an investor its just a matter of risk management if you do choose or gamble out to put up some funds on alt market.
