4961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Madness/Insanity in sports betting/gambling on: March 27, 2021, 05:07:06 PM
Is there any spirituality with regards to sports betting or gambling?
No. It's only that the belief in religion that gambling and sports betting isn't allowed but to connect that they're going to be lucky or will be blessed as they gamble, that's crazy. From the root word itself that predictions are guess based on what the person saying in the chosen gambling games that they want.

This looks like a belief that works for certain people. They say what you belief in , works for for. The risk in it too is that people who are not mad can pretend to be so to get money from an innocent person. I don't indulge in such .
This is like the sort of effect that has been explained scientifically but I forgot how it's being called.
4962  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which wallets offer the lowest transaction fees to send BTC ? on: March 27, 2021, 04:00:22 PM
Always check the mempool if the network is congested. https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/
It is one factor if you're going to do transactions to know if the fees are high currently. I do agree that most wallets that are in legacy will charge you higher especially if the size of your transaction is high.

if you think about the exchange I think the cheapest is blockchain.com
No, it's one of the most expensive and you should avoid using it.
4963  Economy / Economics / Re: A Platform for Small-Scale Freelancing: Microlancer on: March 27, 2021, 10:22:21 AM
I think the word Microlancer has so many unofficial sites out there.
That's actually the website and it pays Lightning Network which suits for small tasks and small payments.

You should include the site for us to try and probably be giving reviews on. If you're a professional and probably got fired due to pandemic, I suggest you try this one. I tried it personally and its paid me off well.

Freelancer.com
That's a freelancing website and just like upwork, you can get clients there from the skill that you offer. It's a marketplace for people who are looking for clients and as well as clients and companies looking for their virtual employees but they don't pay in bitcoin. They'll be paying you in dollars so it suits for those jobless and looking to move into freelancing.
4964  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers always hunt for the greedy ones on: March 27, 2021, 12:24:14 AM
This is the challenge we are facing with p2p trading too much scammer and even they past reputation and successes are all fake. Don't be too greedy and never trust the high price because in the actuall sense no one will buy you $1 bitcoin for 2$ this are sign's and be carful.
It's also possible that their trust is only built through faked trades. I've seen in some groups that they're asking for others to trade with them and that's only for the sake of the ratings, not with actual trade. Just always follow the market price and be contented with not so high but trusted trades in P2P trades.

That people are fooled by greed is stupid, but that does not excuse the scammers.
They know the weakness of others when they're putting those prices at the ceiling to make them look that they're buying/selling at an advantageous price.
4965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Help between gamblers to win bets on: March 26, 2021, 05:40:36 PM
I think that gamblers should join hands to exchange their knowledge on upcoming games and decide on the optimal bet so everyone can win  and i think that it will help us a lot what are your thought about the matter?
Impossible. You probably have good intentions or there must be some intentions that you're thinking but we're not seeing it. There's no way that everyone will win as what you're wishing. In gambling, if there's a winner, there should be a loser. And about everyone exchanging knowledge and tips, you just go through this section and you'll see different sports that's being discussed per thread and you see people exchanging thoughts and opinions for each of those games.
4966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wave of gambling may end with COVID recovery? on: March 26, 2021, 04:17:30 PM
Gambling business and activity has increased heavily during COVID. No wonder, more free time (forced sometimes), less social life and a bit of you only live once.

Add campaigns were also heavy on TV, internet and other. Do you think that this trend is here to stay or people will gamble less once COVID is better solved.
That's hard to know unless we get to see the end of this covid-19 pandemic. I want to see it end first and I'm sure that everybody wants to see its end badly.
In theory, if everything goes back to normal the stats will lessen the active people that we currently have since businesses and jobs are likely to go back when things have changed and there's no more pandemic around.
4967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin or project dies? When and how? on: March 26, 2021, 02:40:52 PM
We all know that Some coins prpjects not make it long
They die so what the main reasons?
They are not interesting.

And how far the coin will go even if its bad project?
Don't expect longetivity for bad projects.

Let's Say you buy very low cap coin but most of them will reach top 20 coins.
Look at the fact how Fast ada uni and aave went to top 20-30 coins.

Question is Where will be end?  Can the top 10 or 20 coins disapeare?

So are there average statistics how far the coin goes Before it dies?
You cannot be sure that most of them can reach to the top. Not all of them will reach the top coins. It takes time for them to be on that spot but if they cannot increase in the market cap, they can't make it.
4968  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? Why? on: March 26, 2021, 12:38:40 PM
Definitely not. $51k is in and likely to go down $50k again. Those who have missed buying bitcoin at the lowest will definitely be happy to see that drop and there will be more FUD again in the market after seeing the price to be down as it is today.
I guess this is already the month that has been compared with the same month last year but this is still way better than that.
I believe we are getting another correction and that's not a bad thing, after all those options are broken (six billion dollars worth) there were suppose to be a bit, it is not a shock, and I think it is quite obvious that we should not be going up today, or maybe even tomorrow. I think whatever it drops it will drop now, after that it will not drop anymore and I believe we are going to make a good difference.

Of course this is just something that doesn't mean that we will make a profit right away neither, I do not expect it to go down much but I do not expect it to go up a lot neither, it will probably not break over 60k anytime soon, and when it does it will be doing much better beforehand, not a 8%+ drop and then a 15%+ increase so that is why I think anyone who buys today should be ready to wait for it to go up for a long time and not right away.
Right now, we see it recover and if it will cross again back to $54k-$57k then I say that we've gotten better and if there will be another correction, those are just easy corrections and not painful anymore as what we've been thinking of.
The price is $53k while we're discussing it as this time and let's see how much it would be as it recovers.
4969  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? Why? on: March 25, 2021, 01:16:15 PM

4970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: price action trading on: March 25, 2021, 10:44:54 AM
There were chances that the market has been repeating what it did in the past and that's why there were analysis that includes the past. The patterns that we had in the past, they're using it and comparing it with today's market and price action.
In top of this, the trader has to look on which strategy and style he's good with upon reading the market. Wherever he is confident and making himself profit more, he should use whatever benefits him/her.
4971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Internet connectivity - Gambling wins/losses on: March 25, 2021, 09:24:04 AM
Not at all.
If at first the connection is good and safe but in the middle of the game the connection suddenly becomes bad or even loses the network, then of course I will immediately leave the game because choosing to continue is tantamount to suicide. Casino games or gambling can still be timed as good as we have, this is different if we play online games like PUBG etc. So I guess the casino gambling I play has never had a problem with the internet connection because before we can check it first, then immediately leave the game when we get a bad internet connection, it's very simple.
Casinos won't have their problem in connection, their servers have back ups or if something goes wrong, they'll immediately fix it and will announce if there are issues found.
Having problem with internet connections usually happen to us, people, gamblers and most of the time it happens in unexpected times. But if you really know that you have a bad connection, just don't give yourself a problem by continuing.
Its less likely to have those kind of problems where connection issues would really exist or on beside with casinos fault which is really a very rare thing to happen. On a business like this then they would

really be minding off those first before launching out into the public where user smooth experience in terms of UI/UX and connection is a norm.So i dont really put up into this possibility but if thats the case

or saying on what if's then they would really be making out announcement and making out compensations into those affected users into that particular time.So this shouldnt really be that much of a problem.
Yes. I haven't thought of it that they'll be having a cut off or trouble with their internet but most problem that they will tackle is about their server troubles and that's not really their problem but to the service or provider that they've availed to run the casino.
Specially for known casinos, you barely find problems like this so instead of thinking that it's going to happen to them. We should think of ourselves and before playing assuring that you have no network problems.
4972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BTC on: March 25, 2021, 08:29:36 AM
It's just getting started and expect to see more of those in the future. The improvement that we're going to see has already been on the roll for the Segwit and Lightning Network.
And what's more desirable is that there will be more known companies that will announce their investment on bitcoin and also the acceptance of it. OP, how much you've bought bitcoin at and are you still holding too many of it?
4973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Literally Beginner on: March 24, 2021, 09:37:12 PM
Welcome to the forum. Aside from the suggestion of working online, you can also try to look for those features from other projects that will give you reward and if it's tradable, you can convert those rewards into Ethereum.
And also, you can sell physical goods for Ethereum just like the usual thing we see for bitcoin. But you have to look for an actual buyer if you got something to sell.

4975  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Online Gambling 'or' Day trading cryptos- Which one is more lucrative? on: March 24, 2021, 07:29:35 PM
Talking about which is lucrative, based on everyone's experience that's day trading. But the risk that it has is almost the same as you gamble online.
In day trading, you're likely to lose and you're not going to enjoy it unless you make it your bread and butter. Everyone differs in which is profitable to them.
^ Lucrative means having a decent profit, probably that is gambling.
The higher risk, the high potential of having profit but won't survive in long run, this most likely based on luck while day trading you can apply skills and knowledge which is if you have these, which means this will have lucrative to you. This will depend on us which we differ to stay and have a profit if you think you can risk your money on gambling, it's up to you and if you are good in day trading then, you go for it. Nevertheless, I can consider here gambling is much worst than day trading.
As I've said it differs from everyone on which is profitable or lucrative for you. But if you have an experience and you have proved it that in gambling it's more lucrative than day trading then you have a proof. You've said that it's probably gambling that's more profitable then at the end you said that it's worst than day trading. Having a decent profit, it's also available if you're going to do it with day trading but you need a decent amount for capital to make yourself make that much money on it. So yes, it really differs from everyone's experience.
4976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time Magazine: Will start to accept crypto for subscription on: March 24, 2021, 06:49:58 PM
Another news of adoption after companies announcing that they're accepting crypto. They didn't announced that they've invested in crypto but it's good that they've announced that they're accepting cryptos for subscription.
This is what we like about it, there's an acceptance and adoption that's coming around. I hope to see more known companies announce their acceptance of crypto for their service.
4977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top altcoins by their marketcap, gainers and losers on: March 24, 2021, 01:58:07 PM
There might be a source from which that TV station taken that statistics
And mind you that it's a national TV station in Nigeria, a country that just recently cut off their banks from accepting and processing crypto transactions via centralized exchanges, crypto is pretty much popular in Nigeria already and it could even get more notice from the populace, prolly the government could turn it's hands on the sanctions it imposed weeks ago.
Yes and I've just said national television but forgot to say that it was from Nigeria, thanks. Having that said, the table is turning now and they're likely to start liking it and might remove those sanctions and difficult ruling about crypto related accounts.

But what I'm happy about is that they're able to show that to the public, in the national television broadcast and that means that there will be a lot of people that have watched it.
One of the best reputable that catches the eyes of Nigerian business populace. They are top notch in there reportage
That's great to know.
4978  Economy / Exchanges / Re: dogpile for crypto? Is there any such thing as a (trusted) meta-crypto-exchange? on: March 23, 2021, 08:54:25 PM
Thanks @OmegaStarScream - CoinSwitch comes close, but you have to specifically select just one exchange manually, so it's not going to give users the kind of multi-exchange instant-best-price settlement possible unless you happen to fluke picking the one exchange that's got the best ask order at the instant your trade is executed (so basically - rare).
It is giving you the best price for each exchanges that happens to show after you put the crypto you're about to exchange and how much you're going to trade for it with the selected coin that you want to receive. And it's not actually instant because it takes for you to receive the coin that you have exchanged because of the confirmation time. If you exchange bitcoin to another crypto, as long as your transaction isn't confirmed yet, you have to wait for it before they exchange it.
4979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: March 23, 2021, 07:52:11 PM
It does requires it for specific games and it's all up to you how you shall define that kind of skill that you want to have. Luck is always a given thing in gambling, whether you're in the luck dependent games or skilled dependent games. We are always wishing to be lucky with our bets and it's not that fate that will give you the win but the choice that you do and if you believe that you are being accompanied by luck, you shall win. And those long time gamblers, they know how to manage and handle things already on their own.
Luck and ability cannot be separated from gambling and indeed all depend on the gambling that is played.
and most importantly for me our experience and ability in gambling will be very valuable and will be an example to be careful before betting, and choose bets according to my experience and abilities so that luck is more on my side.
Experience is the other factor that you will be dependent of when you cannot control yourself anymore. You'll remember those losing streak that you've made and even those winning streak that you had but because you cannot properly control yourself, you've just lost it all.
And in that remembrance, you're going to have your path in the right way of deciding of what you must do for you to avoid it and won't experience that bad experience you had before.

There might be a source from which that TV station taken that statistics. Websites like coinmarketcap and coingecko have that feature to show what are the gainers and losers.
But what I'm happy about is that they're able to show that to the public, in the national television broadcast and that means that there will be a lot of people that have watched it.
