4982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: March 29, 2021, 12:34:08 PM
I am all open for advocating changes where necessary but using your car analogy what I see is Dash is driving along as best as it can with a competent Dash Core Group behind the wheel and it is you that is trying to put the handbrakes on which will result in huge problems.

The Dash Core Group have no interest in the formula that you propose.

If you had even an tiny fraction of followers they would lobby the Dash Core Group. It is time to give up. Dash will not change for you.

What you wrote is a defeatist attitude and a very flawed school of thought.

If you're driving a car and realise you left the handbrake on, you don't shrug your shoulders and continue. You address the problem and take the handbrake off.

By restricting the size of its primary market and issuing such a large proportion of its supply at zero price, Dash is driving with its handbrake on.

It is not "defeatist" to advocate for addressing that problem.

As long as Piston visits here from to time to bring his special touch of humour here then I would welcome it with open arms.

Imagine what Piston would say if ETH got to $10,000...  instead of accepting he was wrong he would probably give us another one liner to make us all laugh !!

I think you should be here for the $2000 per ETH and not for the reasons you stated.
guess even at $8k this guy will sneer at ETH. Admittedly a questionable kind of "fun". Smiley

HI , IM HERE FOR THE GANGBANG...........
too late man, $ADK got already gangbang´ed a long time ago. Grin
4984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOON] Mooncoin 🌙 built in 2013 with the future in mind on: March 29, 2021, 08:51:21 AM
What happens to Mooncoin investors when unnamed.exchange stop withdrawals just as they did with BTC, DOGE and others?

Of all the exchanges in the world why would anybody list Mooncoin on an exchange without applying due-diligence simply by checking to see if the exchange has scam accusations against it?

4986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: March 28, 2021, 11:33:54 PM
Joshua more than made up for his loss to Ruiz by dismantling him by outclassing him in the rematch, that cannot be denied but what Fury did to Wilder was fantastic and on a completely different level.

We have seen some upsets and Joshua has the tools to beat Fury. I think this is more of a mental game now, the fighter with the bigger heart have a high chance of winning. Although Fury is the favourite because of his demolition of Wilder, Joshua was proven himself as well when he extract his revenge against Ruiz Jr. So that alone tells us that Joshua has the heart of a champion.
If you talk about the heart of a champion Tyson Fury already displayed that, when you are against the fence how you overcome that and Fury showed in the first fight against Wilder when he was down and how he recovered and countered his attack and Joshua when he was against the fence against Ruiz he was not able to make any changes and showed the heart of a champion in the fight, in the rematch he won but not during the fight.
4987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: March 28, 2021, 11:06:06 PM
What you wrote is a defeatist attitude and a very flawed school of thought.

Ryan Taylor and the Dash Core Group are going forward with their plans, those that want to jump on board can do so and those that want to create their own fork of Dash are welcomed to do it and take the newly created fork in to another direction.

I am fairly sure Ryan Taylor and the Dash Core Group will not joining the Dash fork threads to point out their opinions and flaws of the fork....  Roll Eyes

The issue for the community isn't what I said, it's what Ryan said and the oversight of not realising that a mined coin is a bought coin. That one mistake turns the whole reasoning behind the reward ratio logic on its head. Sure, miners are "sellers" on an exchange just as currency brokers are, but they are not NET sellers. They bought the coin in one market and sold it in another.

Masternodes on the other hand are NET sellers. There's no buy side so no bidding up of the price (once we are at nodecount equilibrium). The reward ratio is therefore simply specifying how much of the supply is issued at zero price per coin. The more of the supply thats issued at zero price, the lower the marketcap compared with other coins that restrict their entire supply to the highest bidder.

The protocol/store of value debate (if you can call it that - there was no debate) was not about how much to "give" to miners or "give" to masternodes. Miners buy their coin. They are not given it. It's only masternodes where the word "give" applies.

Not difficult to understand for anyone that isn't blinded by allegiance to "the cause".
4988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: March 28, 2021, 10:28:21 PM
Thank you for your vote and comments. We all know Joshua is a legitimate champion and he deserves to be. We all also know it is boxing and at the end of the day anything can happen in the ring when two champions meet but the majority of analysts seem to be sure Fury will dominate Joshua.

I am looking forward to the fight  Smiley

1st & 2nd Fight: Joshua, that's my vote.

No one voted for that because all you guys in favor of Fury, well, let me vote for that as Joshua is also a legit champion.
Fury was impressive in the 2nd fight vs Wilder but Wilder looks exhausted, maybe Joshua is different and he can beat the gypsy king.
4989  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Unnamed.exchange - do we have another exit scam? on: March 28, 2021, 05:19:51 PM
Thanks to Bob and the U.E. team for getting us working on the Exchange!

Note: the Mooncoin project does not officially endorse any exchange. Use at your own risk.
Mooncoin was listed today on Unnamed.Exchange: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5236362.msg56665075#msg56665075

Unnamed is unregistered one man circus.  Grin

Before Cloudflare, domain (if i remember correctly, i should check again tho) was hosted in NL with host that accepts crypto payments (anonymous).  Grin

Admin is full of shit. I wouldn't be surprised that exchange got hacked and admin lost funds. Even tho, im pretty sure he sold the DOGE with belief its only temporal pump and now he hasnt anything to send out.  Roll Eyes
I made it clear to TillKoeln he should publish ownership details of the exchange but he made it clear he would not and I knew this would end up with selective scamming at first then followed up by full-scale scamming later then finally the end of the website after they drag things out of many months of even years.

4991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: March 28, 2021, 04:04:57 PM
https://dogecoin.com/
https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin

To be honest there does not seem to be too much going on with regards to development but its achilles heel that stopped it being taken as a serious coin that can hold long term monetary value of substance is quite simply based on the fact it has an unlimited supply. As long as miners mine, Dogecoins will continue to be mined.

To my knowledge there is currently no real core group that can take Dogecoin in any direction. There are already 128,948,608,768 Dogecoin in circulation yet holds a market cap of $6,951,731,693 and trade at over $0.05 each. There is still so much potential in Dogecoin for progression but it requires a determined development team.

Is DOGE still under sevelopment, could there be any sort of burn?

4993  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Unnamed.exchange - do we have another exit scam? on: March 28, 2021, 09:32:20 AM
Today I tried to withdraw my last LTC on the site and now it is stuck in error.
takagari never got his funds...

miner987 has his dogecoin withdrawals stuck...

You have your LTC withdrawals stuck...

Not sure if you know, but there is a group of people who claims that the earth is flat. They really go all in to convince everyone that its true. All this pictures and videos from ISS is just a scam.
I mean thank you Adobe for making it so easy to manipulate pictures and videos. The earth is flat. If you say something else, you're in on the scam.. damn scammer Smiley
All this is going on but till paid shills such as 00HasH continue to post propaganda about unnamed.exchange saying nothing is wrong with the website but taking the opportunity to attempt to make philosophical arguments that fail miserably.

I also posted here because you invited users to view your exchange: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4971628.msg52121971#msg5212197

Absolutely not impressed with essential details missing in the Terms and Conditions which make using your exchange a very big risk until or unless there is transparency:
https://www.unnamed.exchange/Home/Terms

Why is there no LLC/LTD listed that is the company that owns the website?

What are the company ownership details?

What is the full company address?

In the event of litigation who will plaintiffs serve legal documentation on and which jurisdiction will it happen in?

And why have a self-moderated thread?
I knew this was going to be the end result of unnamed.exchange so as soon as I became aware of the exchange I asked TillKoeln on several occasions to list the ownership details with LLC/LTD including full company name and address a well as legal jurisdiction Court litigation will be held in the event a user wanted to the take them to Court. He declined to do it saying as long they were not trading involved with fiat they were not obliged to.

Well that was nonsense so I insisted he do it but he declined and there was not much support for me when I mentioned it in his ANN thread

4994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: March 28, 2021, 09:15:38 AM

Votes in the poll: 35

Fury to win both fights: 29

Joshua to win both fights: 0

I was hoping the thread would have got around 50 votes in the poll so far but we are at 35.

The overwhelming majority of voters here are going for Fury to beat Joshua twice and that speaks volumes about both fighters.
4995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FIFA World Cup 2022: Qatar on: March 27, 2021, 10:50:43 PM

Montenegro 4-1 Gibraltar

Republic of Ireland 0-1 Luxembourg

Serbia 2-2 Portugal

Slovakia 2-2 Malta

Notable Results:

Netherlands vs Latvia: Netherlands did not panic and won their game after they were beaten by Turkey in their opening game
Norway vs Turkey: Turkey demolished Norway 3-0 and sit top of their group
Serbia vs Portugal: Cristiano Ronaldo was sure his injury time shot was over the line but the game ended 2-2-

All quiet in this thread for many weeks. The sock-puppets have all finally fallen silent and stayed quiet for so long.

This thread deserved a bump because for an exchange tainted with scam accusations they do not have any activity in this thread from their traders/sock-puppets even though they claim to be trading over $717 million every 24 hours:

4997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: March 27, 2021, 03:09:26 PM
Dogecoin has an unlimited supply (no cap) of coins so it is hard to believe it will ever get to $1

Maybe the best way to make money from Dogecoin is to sell when Musk and others tweet about it and the price goes up then buy again after the dump, then start the cycle all over again.

DOGE will hit moonz of jupiter! :-D yeeet!

===>

https://freebitcoins.com/xchange/market/Bitcoin-Dogecoin

w00t Dogecoin! Wink Tongue  fixed your link for you.

I really think Dogecoin may hit $1 within the next few years.

Dogecoin needs to break away from the Litecoin miners and mine their own coins or have Litecoin merged into the Dogecoin power!
4998  Economy / Reputation / Re: THE TRUST SYSTEM: Are Counter-Feedbacks Counter Productive? on: March 27, 2021, 09:51:18 AM
I agree with what you wrote but the problem going forward in that situation is that you wrote: "If Sally excludes Sam from her trust list, the impartiality of the situation may be called into question and she may find herself excluded by other forum members"

If that is the case then those members backing Sally could be inclined to exclude all the members that excluded Sally as well as those that left positive counter-feedback, the cycle in that scenario will be continuous.

After reading the posts here I understand several perspectives and points of views.

What came from the debate in this thread is that the disparity between opinions of members on this issue is probably too big to find a mutually acceptable solution.

There are cases where deserved or not, negative trust has been left for a user. Then another user comes along and deems that negative trust as wrong/unfair/inappropriate or as a breach of the trust system and decides to leave positive trust for the same recipient stating it is to counter previous feedback.

I think it is an inappropriate use of the trust system for anybody to give positive trust ratings to users just because they received negative trust that was (or could debatably be deemed as being) in breach of the trust system.
I disagree with this premise.

If there is no fact dispute, but Sally believes Bob is "high risk", Sally will leave a negative rating against Bob. Sally gives a lot of "good" ratings, and the rating does not appear to be in bad faith, so it would not make much sense to exclude Sally from the DT network. However there is still an "injustice" against Bob. Sam wants to correct this injustice and asks Sally to remove the negative rating, but Sally refuses. The only option is for Sam to leave a positive rating on Bob's trust profile with a note saying he does not agree with Sally's rating.

Anyone doing due diligence prior to trading with Bob will see both ratings, and can act accordingly. If Sally subsequently removes her negative rating, but for some reason Sam does not remove his counter rating, someone conducting due diligence would ignore Sam's rating.
This is an excellent scenario but what happens if Sally decides to take further action against Bob to counter what Sam wrote and then took action against Sam too by leaving negative trust and adding Sam to her distrust list? In your scenario it is quite probable that Sam will take action against Sally by reciprocating the negative trust and the whole cycle could theoretically continue with more DT members getting involved...

Now seems more apt to conclude what The Pharmacist said about it being pointless to debate issues like this, is spot on.

If Sally leaves a second rating, it will have no effect on Bon’s trust score. If he removes the rating and adds it back on, it would be an abuse of the trust system and he should be excluded. If Sally excludes Sam from her trust list, the impartiality of the situation may be called into question and she may find herself excluded by other forum members.

What I described above is not ideal, however in my view it is the only way to correct the injustice of Bob receiving a unfair negative rating.

Everyone will not always agree on when someone is “high risk” and the above is an effective way to settle this question. Someone conducting due diligence on Bob can weigh their options of the judgements of both Sally and Sam and act accordingly.
