Yup I still hate this thread. And still believe it should be locked down for eternity. Circle-jerking is not most becoming of a real gentleman.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.

In what context is this to the OP?

4990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Party 2016 on: December 17, 2015, 04:01:17 AM
Do you have any plans for the evening Bitcoin halves?

If reading this retrospectively, what did you do the day of bitcoins halving?

Personally I think that any rises will be priced in months before the rise. If I'm aware of the evening of the halving I'll get some beers in and celebrate the next step in bitcoins evolution. This thread wasn't meant to simply be about price.

4995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone buy during $1200? on: December 15, 2015, 08:45:35 AM
I bought at below 1000 once and i manage to sell back at 800. I only lose a hundreds.

You haven't lost anything until you sell for under the price you buy. So anyone who bought at peak and still holding hasn't lost a bean.

4997  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the impact of Fed Rate Hike on BTC prices? on: December 15, 2015, 01:13:18 AM
Aren't interest rates supposed to be market led?  What model do they follow in deciding whether to increase or decrease the rate?

Whatever model their following, that sure is one communist way of doing it, letting the 'best and the brightest' with their PHD's decide the fate of the whole...

What happened to the capitalist philosophy of 'let the free market decide'?

Edit:  Land of the free!  Watta joke.

Yup. Bitcoins time has come and it's been long overdue.
