4981  Economy / Reputation / Re: Experiment, the last 10 ETH address found in Patrol. 50% Genuine users* on: February 03, 2021, 09:25:09 AM
Conclusion: 8 of 10 are "OK",  most of the users above are relatively new and have not so much posts. Can be genuine or just good new alts.
Beside posting proof of registration posts one after the another, there are few more "coincidences" among 8/10 accounts:
  • All of them were made between June 29th - August 18th 2018
  • They went on break during September/October 2018
  • Came back between December 23rd 2020-January 13th 2021
  • ETH adressess used are clean as a whistle, with no prior transaction history

As @lovesmayfamilis pointed out, this is just a new farm being woken up and a person behind it is a little bit smarter than an average bounty abuser as he at least used clean ETH adresses and social media accounts.
4982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 02, 2021, 09:46:53 PM
Is he going to play tomorrow against the Clippers? This is hell of a match and we'll see a match between two good teams.

Hard to decide where I'll be if Nets is complete tomorrow.
It's confirmed that Harden should be ready for game tonight, but even with him back my money will be on the Clippers. I do expect tough game though, best offensive vs one of the best defensive teams.

Well, I am more excited watching Jazz and Nuggets now. Could Jazz repeat that long streak again?
I honestly doubt that when you look at their schedule. In the next 10 games they will play 2x vs Clippers, 76s, Bucks, Celtics and Pacers. Don't get me wrong, 11 games winning streak they did wasn't easy at all no matter the opponents and I am their big fan but realistically, beside Bucks and Nuggets, rest of the teams they faced were average at best. Lucky for them that they play against Pistons tonight, so that is a good chance to get back on the track immediately vs one of the worst teams in the league.

4983  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List of fake wallets on Google Play, 3 active at the moment! on: February 02, 2021, 11:36:52 AM
Four fake wallets have been removed from Google Play  and another fake Jaxx wallet showed up so there are currently at least 3 fake wallets active. Regarding this newly discovered Jaxx, if we are to believe app reviews some people unfortunately fell for this scam and lost the money.

Please take a minute of your time to report those three apps that are still available as they may get removed faster and save someone from loosing hard earned money.

4984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin of America Expands to 600+ ATMs on: February 02, 2021, 10:26:07 AM
Unless the network develops to speed up daily transactions that require less than a minute, I do not expect many people to use these ATMs they will require waiting for several hours.
I've been using ATMs for a few years and waiting time was never an issue for me, but high fees compared to some other ways of cashing out. That's the drawback of anonymous cash out that I had to live with.

The way I dealt with long waiting time for transaction to be confirmed was simple; I would sit in a bar and have a beer or two while waiting, often with other people I met doing the same. Now with the lockdown rules things changed, bars are closed so instead of waiting for transaction to be confirmed I just come the next day and pick up the money.
4985  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich have too much on: February 02, 2021, 09:17:38 AM
Then there are people like me who work 10 hour days and sometimes work harder then these rich people.
Contrary to popular belief, rich and successful people don't sit on their asses doing nothing, majority of them work way more than an average blue collar worker as that's what it takes to succeed. Shoveling or some other manual labor is not necessarily harder than being responsible for whole company, its workers and everything that goes with it.

I wish there would be a system where I am allowed some of their money instead of them paying taxes on it.
Imagine how that could work out for the lower class.
That system wouldn't work as good as you may think. Take Jeff Bezos for example, whose net worth is approximately $180 billion. For the sake of argument let's say that he has that amount in cash and he has to spread it evenly among all people living in US. When you divide $180 billion among 330 million people which is current US population, every person gets ~$550. You will agree that's not life changing amount, not even in some poor 3rd world country, let alone United States.

Now imagine for how long would those people stay in countries where someone arbitrarily decided that he has too much and he has to give majority of his wealth to others? Successful and capable people would either leave asap or simply stop working hard, as what's the point? It's not like we don't have examples of that system failing miserably so we have to imagine how would it be.
4986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you buy 1 bitcoin and hold for years in your own offline wallet, taxes? on: February 02, 2021, 08:05:31 AM
My logical thinking tells me that you can get away with it only via services that you didn't connect with your bank account, you didn't connect them with your KYC data, OR, by local ATM with no KYC, local p2p exchanges.
Cashing out anonymously without use of bank service and therefore avoid getting flagged by IRS is an easy part, but problems start once you want to buy something big with that money, like house or apartment.

I still haven't figure that thing out as in my country even if you want to pay crypto taxes, procedure is so complicated that it will make people try to avoid it all together and find some more  "creative" ways.
4987  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Visa Cards Are Now Available in Europe on: February 01, 2021, 09:23:33 PM
Yeah, that was my issue too. I tried contacting supporting two times in regard to cashback, and failed both times. First time I  simply stuck in a queue for an hour without my queue number changing, and 2nd time I simply had to go offline after waiting for more than 2 hours.
Your experience goes in line with what I read about cashback. It's been glitchy for others too, like giving wrong cashback percentage or not giving cashback for eligible purchases. They will probably smooth things out eventually but it can be annoying, especially if you are holding 6,000 BNB for top tier cashback. For those higher levels cashback should work flawlessly.

I like the cashback feature but it's not the main reason why I ordered this card. I do most of my trading on Binance so it's great that I don't have to transfer crypto to some other exchange like Crypto.com.
It wasn't the main reason for me neither, but it is nevertheless welcomed addition as default one is just big enough to cover the fees. I got sick of those while cashing out using ATMs, so for me that was the main reason I decided to give Binance card a try.
4988  Economy / Reputation / Re: Long-time sig campaign farm ID'd via single wallet transaction on: February 01, 2021, 09:03:32 PM
i think that he should at least take a stand before he is banned from the forum (if it has not already happened)
Having multiple accounts in the same campaign is not a banable offense. Those accounts will get tagged and excluded from trust lists and that's about it.

Cirkus je krenuo, sretno ekipa. A sto se tice smanjenja, ne vjerujem da ce to uopce utjecati na popularnost kampanje jer i dalje placaju najbolje.

We have a few open spots. I wonder if we'll see a decrease in the number of applicants, now that the payment rate has decreased.

4991  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Visa Cards Are Now Available in Europe on: February 01, 2021, 09:09:57 AM
You cashback history is empty, even though you have used your card in atm and pos terminal? Strange. But I remember the first record in cashback history did not appear same day I've paid with card.
I just checked and it looks like I got the cashback, 1% as expected. It took almost four days for Binance to process the cashback transaction so I guess I just had to be a bit more patient. By the way, my purchase was with virtual card as I am still waiting for physical version so couldn't try it with ATM/pos. Now when I know that cashback is working, I can start spending more freely, next in line is media player I planned to buy anyway, but wanted to see whether cashback thing is working before trying to buy it using Binance card.

As for the Binance support, the most annoying thing is that you have to be online when it's your turn. If the chat is online, but you don't answer, they log you out and you have to wait again.
Yeah, that was my issue too. I tried contacting supporting two times in regard to cashback, and failed both times. First time I  simply stuck in a queue for an hour without my queue number changing, and 2nd time I simply had to go offline after waiting for more than 2 hours.

It's weird that your didn't get cashback at all after few transactions, since we are from the same country so that can't be a problem, and you even have physical card. Issue might be the type of transactions you did as not all are eligible for cashback. Or cashback is glitchy and it doesn't work properly in some cases, even though it should.
4992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BEST GAMBLING MOVIES OF ALL TIME on: January 31, 2021, 09:37:04 PM
i saw that Uncut Gem movie too where they bet on basketball. this is where he motivated the basketball star to do what he could because someone out there look down on him. Adam Sandler's phone in this movie by the way has the screen saver of Bitcoin pendant.
Basketball star in the movie is none other than Kevin Garnett, which was a great addition to the movie because they managed to incorporate him and Celtics vs 76s Conference final in 2011/2012 season. It was a cherry on top for all of us NBA fans Smiley.

No movie comes close to Uncut Gems in portraying the few days in life of a gambler and that's why it's my favorite movie of that subgenre.

i watched the Cooler's clip in the webpage shared by OP, I did;t get what happens there that he comes out without money yet Baldwin wreck the dice table. it has to be watched fully i guess.
You should definitely watch a full movie. Imagine being so miserable and pathetic like a main protagonist (brilliant William H Macy, as always) that the moment you come close to a gambler who is on a winning streak, he starts loosing? Seriously underrated movie.
4993  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List of fake wallets on Google Play, 6 active at the moment! on: January 31, 2021, 09:17:51 PM
I do wonder how they manage to get such wallets officially in the playstore. Doesn't that require a very official procedure?
While Google probably checks some of the submitted apps manually, huge majority of verifications are done automatically and that system obviously can't detect fake apps efficiently. Add on that it costs only $25 to submit an app on Play Store so no wonder that is swarmed with fake versions of popular crypto wallets. They covered their ass with TOS in which is stated that they are not responsible for any damage caused by apps not developed by them  so why spend more money to make platform safer? :p

On the other hand, Apple is doing much better job when it comes to detection of fake apps; verification is longer therefore more thorough and app submission cost is higher (you have to pay $99 to be part of Apple Developer Program in order to be able submitting apps) so its not a popular choice for scammers.

If you're new and don't know what you're looking for (or looking at), it's nearly impossible to tell if something is genuine in the Google Play store unless someone's already dropped a warning feedback or something.
Yep, they are perfectly aware of the constant influx of complete newbs and that's their target audience. Huge majority of those people are used to getting all their apps through Play Store so they won't think twice whether crypto wallet is legit or not. Worst of all, looks like Google doesn't care much about the issue at all as problem is not new and it keeps escalating.
4994  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New Account of Scammer Kazi Sajib on: January 31, 2021, 03:46:56 PM
The bounty thread design is quite same and it makes a little bit confusion. But You can not say directly that both accounts are connected (alt). In this case you make a knock to Kazi Sajib that someone copy/paste your thread design you know it or not. Smiley

So it could be suspicious to all of us. But Personally I can not take any step without valid proof as a DT2.
Since it looked suspicious, I've decided to check Aurix Telegram group to see if I can find any mentions of Kazi Sajib. In the end I didn't have to dig deep as someone asked today about bounty group and Aurix admin pointed to @KaziSajibBounty, confirming @Small Rabbit suspicion who is behind this new account.

4995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 31, 2021, 10:01:16 AM
It's Bojan Bogdanović's night.
7/11 in the 3 point field giving the Jazz an addition to their streak.
Bogey finally had a good shooting night and showed glimpse of his last season's performances. I sure hope that this is a sign of him finally putting that wrist injury/surgery behind as up until now he was never quite the same as prior to that. I read few weeks ago that he is still feeling a little bit of pain every time he releases the ball and that is a big issue for a quality shooter like him as even a little bit of discomfort lowers your %.

But I really appreciate their defense more. They are everywhere.
Even with the offensive power of the Mavs they shut down most of their roleplayers.
Yep, Utah has one of the best defensive teams in the NBA (and one of the deepest rosters), and imho best defensive player overall in Gobert who might get his 3rd DPOY if he &Utah continue to play like that. His only "problem" is that he is not as flashy as Davis/Antetokounmpo but I think no player affects it's team defense the way Gobert is doing.

If everyone stays healthy and Bogdanovic comes at least close to his last year's form, I can see Utah having deep playoff run. It would be great if they manage to keep top 2 spots and probably avoid Lakers up until Conference final.
4996  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Another deception of bounty payments to hunters POOLZ on: January 31, 2021, 09:31:15 AM
Or maybe the team will revise the results for the better?
I like your optimism but chances of that happening are slim to none.

Situation is fairly simple: since they decided to decrease distribution period from two and half years to ten months, they have to find a way to distribute less tokens than initialy intended, they went with "re-auditing ", which is nothing but an euphemism for cutting down the bounty pool. The only question now is by how much will bounty pool get decreased.

I've skipped participating in bounties years ago and I see nothing changed. Bounty hunters are still treated like crap...
Lets be honest here; majority of projects having bounty campaigns are crap and majority of work done by bounty hunters is crap as well (out of curiosity I read some articles and watched some videos some time ago ) so no wonder that bounty campaigns often end up this way.
4997  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] ExoCrow has plagiarized content + fake data on: January 30, 2021, 09:23:44 PM
@SFR10 ExoCrow is back with the ANN thread identical to the one they made few months ago. Funny thing, that nonsense info on the website about having more than 60,000 users is still there. As a matter of fact, all those numbers are exactly the same as they were months ago (62314 users, 135 countries served etc...)

4998  Economy / Reputation / Re: WSBC by @Vlad.Sas-an attempt to profit from wallstreetbets hype? on: January 30, 2021, 09:07:16 PM
No. But that's what I think about (almost) all of all announcements in Announcements (Altcoins) and Tokens (Altcoins). All these coins and tokens are created to make the creator rich, and get money out of gullible and greedy fools.
True, investment in one of those is so risky that they might as well be in Investor-based games board, but this is a bit different case as I couldn't find any connections to wallstreetbets and I wasn't sure is this just another joke like in CMC case or a real attempt. Then again, why make a website and actual token if it's just a joke?

For example, I am invited (just added) to a few Discord and Telegram pump signals groups named something similar like WSB. I see there is a lot of people invited.
One of them is a group with 200k members https://t.me/Wall_Bets_Street
I heard for those and it's not a surprise that they started showing up and same goes for SWB coins/tokens as that's what scammers usually do, trying to exploit whatever is popular at the moment. Just looking at that group you linked, they reached max number so fast that they had to create 2nd group. Craziness.

4999  Economy / Reputation / WSBC by @Vlad.Sas-an attempt to profit from wallstreetbets hype? on: January 30, 2021, 10:51:28 AM
So, everyone is probably aware of r/wallstreetbets , CMC and their WallStreetBets (WSB). While browsing altcoin section I noticed ANN thread called Wall Street Bets token, in which user @Vlad.Sas is advertising WSBC coin and asking people to buy it.

Thing is, I couldn't find any connections to r/wallstreetbets subreddit, and few claims are questionable, like this one below where Vlad.Sas claims that WSBC tokens are available on wallstreetbets website, but I personally couldn't find it there.

You can buy WSBC from the official page at https://wallstreetbets.com

Then speculation about Elon retweeting WSBC, and we all know what would happen in that case.
Elon, will probably tweet the official page: https://twitter.com/WallStrBetsCoin or the website itself. Thx for being one of us! keep up the good work bro!

5000  Other / Meta / Re: Adding bitcoin price ticker. on: January 30, 2021, 09:05:38 AM
It will be helpful for users who always want to watch the price of bitcoin and its a time saver for those people who don't have to time to check multiple tabs on their pc or phones. But anyways it's just a suggestion which might other think not good but for somehow quite helpful for the users who always trade bitcoins.
So you want to say that some people are so busy while on the forum that they simply don't have time to open another tab and check the price? How much time will they save, few seconds maybe? This has been suggested before and its definitely feature not needed on the forum, and active traders  have more efficient ways to track the prices than looking for it on the forum.
